The one thing that was a huge irritation was the squeaky steering wheel. So bad it could be heard by other boats. Phill felt really bad about it and reported to owner. We took the 2 hour trip. It was plenty of time for us at 100 degrees. Southern Californians generally melt if it gets too hot:), but the shaded covers were great and the water was flat and glassy even at 2pm on a Thursday. Don was super chill, great guy. As soon as I saw the add for Rubba Duck I knew that 's what we would love. It did not disappoint! We had so much fun...it was the highlight of our trip. Even our teenager absolutely loved it. We toured a good portion of the lake, and the stops with the information/history was great. On multiple occasions, we were able to open up that little boat and it went impressively fast! The weather started a little cold but warmed up which made it even more fun. It was just me and the guide-im sorry I cant remember his name. He made the trip exciting and taught me so much about the history of the lake. I drove in from Phoenix and It was beyond worth it. Thank you guys so much for the memories! I recommend this 100%. How much to rent a boat?

Hi Ken !! At Rubba Duck Safari our boats are part of a fun tour that explores the lake for 2 1/2 hours - there is a guide with you as you go - $69. per person for the first 2 in the boat $20ea. for the 3rd and 4th person in the boat !

This was our first time in Lake Havasu and thanks to Rubba Duck Safari we had an amazing trip. We did a tour through the lake and Pablo, our tour guide, didn't disappoint with all of his knowledge and taking us to see all the beautiful sites the lake has to offer. At first I was a bit skeptical when I was told I would be one of the drivers, we did get instructions before but I truly didn't feel confident up until I sat on our boat. It all made sense at that point. It was super easy and fun! My husband was in a different boat and he did mention not being able to clearly hear our tour guide since the radio in his boat wasn't working properly. But overall a great experience I definitely recommend booking through them.

We had a great experience on this duck Safari. We felt it was reasonably priced for the experience that we received. Justin and Dawn did an outstanding job being tour guides.

Loved this experience!! Had so much fun with our grandchildren!! Weather didn't cooperate it would have been over 100% if temps had been higher!!

Awesome adventure for the whole family. My wife and two kids, (ages 4 and 7) all had a blast. Our guide, Don was excellent! The tour takes you into places that you would probably never see all in the comfort of your own "Rubba Duck". The boats are fast and smooth and so much fun to drive. You also get to learn a lot about the history of the area and a number of landmarks! After our trip we received a follow up phone call to make sure everything was ok, which to I could only reply "we had an awesome time, and excellent customer service". Highly recommend this to everyone visiting the @lakehavasu area! I would do it again in a minute!

Ryan was our tour guide and fabulously funny! We reserved 3 of us for the sunset Copper Canyon tour. It was so much fun! We got to see the mini lighthouses of the Havasu Lake, Sarah's crack, cupcake with "frosting" and the laying indian and others, which were rock formations. Ryan gave us a history of the places we paused at. I would do this again!

This was definitely the highlight of our trip! We did the sunset tour, I would definitely highly suggest it. It included a little private dip on a beach and a wonderful little toast at sunset. All at a very reasonable cost. Bring your best duck jokes! Because Pablo has them all! We was fantastic! Thanks for the laughs! Hey Pablo, what did the duck say when he ran into the wall? ???? DAMN! Thanks again guys! It was a blast!

This was our favorite event we did at Lake Havasu and the instructions and safety are paramount. Fun times!

Our family really enjoyed our sunset tour given by Dallas and really recommend this to others!

We went on a first week of Nov. 2017 with two other couples. All had their own boats. We took the A.M. South Run on a cloudy day. Warm though. The tour was Great enjoyment for us all. Have been out on the lake before in a boat and our own jet ski's so we're accustomed to the lake some what. Still learned a few facts and a few different little coves. This was the 2 1/2hr tour which was perfect for our group. The cost was 69.00 per person 20.00 more if you wanted to take the South 4-5hr tour. Highly recommend this nicely prepared and thought out tour.

This was the best time ever! Dallas was fantastic ! We four wild and crazy women came from Colorado and Wyoming for a week and while having lunch were told about Rubba Duck Safari. We immediately called and set up a time for the next day. To be able to have the freedom to drive our own boat was the best not to mention having a radio in the boat to hear the history of the beautiful sites was fantastic. We toasted to a beautiful sunset and high tailed it back to see the London Bridge lights at night. Spectacular 2 1/2 hour plus tour! Thank you Dallas for putting up with (at least 2 pain in the ducks)! It was a great time ! Lindy

BEST TRIP HANDS DOWN!! I highly recommend this trip. The best for the money! Absolutely beautiful and the owner Dallas was the coolest dude you will ever meet! You get beauty and a little thrill out of this trip.. a must do!

Rubba-Duck south tour

A generally well-organized sightseeing experience where you pilot your own 2-3 passenger inflatable watercraft around the lake while listening to a live guide over a radio/speaker system. There are many interesting and beautiful coves, points of interest and historical facts to be shared and learned. The tours are 2-5 hours in length and depend on lake conditions (safety and enjoyment are key considerations). Individual customer skills at operating the craft had a distinct affect on the flow and enjoyment of the tour. While instruction and guidance was offered, some still had troubles with rather basic boat operation. Two items that could be improved is the sound quality/reception of the radio/speaker system. Many times it was garbled or static-filled and hard to understand. The other was the knowledge of the guide. While very capable and interesting in his narration style - he was often misinformed or incorrect in his facts about the history. Better training could improve this.

The only reason I’m giving them 5 stars is because I can’t give them 10. Justin and his wife were fantastic guides and the tour was awesome

It was a lot of fun . It was very hot when we visited Lake Havasu and this was a great activity out on the water .

Justin and his wife are great tour guide. Justin made the operation of the boats vary easy to under stand. We would do it all over again. The Best!!

We did the 2 hour tour. It was exciting, informative and fun. It was the favorite part of our vacation for my niece and nephew. You have to do this!

What a great way to see the lake. Gary was a wonderful tour guide, he knows so much about the lake and the city as well. This was so much fun and well worth the cost of admission! The individual boats for couples are a super way to go!

Our boats can accommodate up to 3-4 person with 650 lbs combined weight maximum. For a group with children, we can fit 2-3 on a two person boat.

North Tour Topock Gorge Excursion - February ON WEDNESDAYS

Pilot your craft through the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge and see where Lake Havasu begins. Explore the last remaining untouched natural portion of the lower Colorado River!

Tour includes a one hour stop for a non-hosted lunch at the famous Topock 66.

Day itinerary: Meet at the boat house at 9:30 AM. After instructions on boat operations and safety we hit the water and are boating for about two hours. After seeing the gorge we stop for a non-hosted lunch. We then head back with an ETA of 3:00 PM at the boat house.
