Are you looking for a local Kent based position, a London based hybrid, or even a fully homebased role? Look no further!

An independent TMC based in Kent / London to rebuild their team and happy to consider fully homebased Business Travel Consultants.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To provide effective customer service to ensure the needs of clients are consistently met and often exceeded.

Ensure the consistent provision of the highest level of professional service and personal attention to all corporate accounts.

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaise and cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodation.
• Ensure that all clients have the best travel services available so that they get the best value for money.
• Ensure that the company achieves the necessary SLAs, delivering exceptional resolve to customer enquiries, meeting delivery times and inter-department service levels.
• Provide expert information and advice to all clients and assist them in making the most budget effective plans.
• Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
• Be responsible for and have an overall awareness of accounts and how they are trading, raising any concerns with the Team Leaders and also have a close working relationship with Account Managers .
• Continually review processes and identify ways in which aspects of the service experience could be enhanced.
• Encourage profit awareness and achievement of financial targets.

Skills & Experience?

• 3-4 years' experience within Corporate Travel
• Working knowledge of a GDS (Galileo / Travelport desirable)
• Experience of using CRM systems
• First class customer service skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• A competitive salary of Circa £31,000 - £34,000 (dependant on location, experience and working conditions)
• Office (hybrid) options available (Kent, London) or fully homebased (part time also available)
• Flexible working hours
• 22 days holiday per year, plus public holidays - increasing to 27 days with length of service

Trainee Luxury Travel Consultant

Job Description An exciting opportunity to start your career in tailor-made travel at a young, dynamic company with flexible working and fantastic travel opportunities.

The role would primarily involve organising bespoke trips to southern and eastern Africa, so any travel in or knowledge of these regions or the safari business would be an advantage. However, we don’t require any previous experience in sales or in the travel industry and we are ultimately looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable individual who is passionate about travel and willing to learn.

Primarily based in Bristol in a supportive office environment, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with the company’s Sales Director in London, shadowing and assisting him to gain experience of building bespoke itineraries, learning about the destinations, talking to customers, liaising with suppliers and dealing with problems or emergencies that crop up along the way. This is a full-time role split between home and office working, time in the office isn’t expected to be more than 3 days a week, with the opportunity to work with complete flexibility after completing a 3 month probationary period.

Although with a focus on sales we are a small team and the candidate can expect to work across the business including marketing, content writing and administration.

Commission is earned on each holiday sold and is uncapped, there is the potential for the right person to start earning commission immediately.
