TCNJ Virtual Tour
Let’s get started! To help you get to know us, we’ve mapped out 16 hot spots on campus. Have fun exploring the places where we love to live and learn.
School of Nursing and Health Sciences
Start your tour at Trenton Hall, home to the nursing and public health departments (as well as admissions). Nearby Packer Hall is home base for the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
Explore this school
School of the Arts and Communication
Creativity abounds in the Art and Interactive Multimedia Building. Students fine-tune their craft in the Music Building and go live on TV, radio, or the stage in Kendall Hall.
School of Humanities and Social Sciences
You’ll find criminology, African-American Studies, and political science majors—plus a gorgeous atrium—in the Social Sciences Building. Bliss Hall is where programs such as English and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies live.
Student Life
Have time between classes? Head to the Brower Student Center. While it’s a hub for student organizations and activities, it’s also a lively spot to catch up with friends, grab a bite, play pool, or relax.
Explore campus life
Just look for the iconic clock tower to spot Green Hall. Here, you’ll find President Foster’s office in addition to student services such as financial aid, records and registration, student accounts, and information technology.
Packer Hall is only one of many campus facilities where our athletic Lions roam. Visit the aquatic center, track and field complex, baseball field, Lions Stadium, and other spots to see TCNJ’s NCAA Division III stars in action.
Explore TCNJ Athletics
Gitenstein Library
Step inside the R. Barbara Gitenstein Library for a modern research and study experience: all the traditional and online collections you need but also comfy seating, study rooms, a café, and librarians available via live chat.
Explore the Gitenstein Library
Choose from 10 “microrestaurants” in Eickhoff or dine at one of many other options on campus that range from the always popular Traditions and TDubs to one of many locations with café-style, grab-and-go fare.
Explore dining
Campus Living/First-Year Experience
First-year students start their TCNJ experience in one of six traditional residence halls. Travers and Wolfe, the largest options, have easy access to TDubs on the ground floor for late-night noshing. Let the memory-making begin!
Learn more about housing
Sophomore and Upperclass Living
Beginning sophomore year, students can live the suite life — literally — in a traditional residence hall or townhouse. Upperclassmen are eligible for coveted single rooms in townhouses or in apartment-style residence halls.
School of Education
Our teachers-in-training hit the ground running early in the Education Building’s model classrooms. And we take STEM education to new heights thanks to a classroom with partially exposed structural and mechanical systems overhead.
School of Engineering
The STEM Building and Armstrong Hall — part of the larger STEM Complex — are like open, collaborative academic playgrounds, filled with the latest instrumentation and design technology as well as numerous specialty labs.
School of Science
Rounding out the STEM Complex are the Physics, Math, Chemistry, and Biology buildings, joined by a photo-worthy courtyard and fountain. Have an evening class? Enjoy the glow of the Golden Spiral sculpture as you walk by.
School of Business
Whether you plan to go global and study abroad or co-op at a Fortune 500 company, it all starts at the Business Building. Feeling entrepreneurial? Pitch your business plan in an annual competition for some serious startup funding.
Campus Town
Student apartments (singles plus two and four bedrooms), a fitness center, shops, restaurants, and services — Campus Town’s 11 buildings, built in 2016, are conveniently located right across Metzger Drive from Trenton Hall.
Explore Campus Town
Metzger Drive
The scenic loop surrounding TCNJ’s campus, Metzger Drive also makes a great running or walking path. That’s the end of our tour; we hope you’ve enjoyed it and see why so many students choose to call TCNJ home!

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Transfers: 2024 Requirements, Dates, GPAs & More
How effective are the college of new jersey (tcnj) virtual tours.
It depends how you use them. The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a hustling, bustling campus and community. The beauty of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) virtual tours on CampusReel is that authentic video tours, made by real students, can be spectacular at capturing the The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) vibe. We also go well beyond the confines of the The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) campus by taking you around Ewing. In traditional virtual tours, you will mostly see still, unengaging images and will not see the surrounding area at all – which is why CampusReel virtual tours are so important.
Can a The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) virtual tour replace a traditional in-person visit?
If you cannot visit The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in person, then we can honestly say that we believe a CampusReel virtual tour of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is absolutely the most effective and holistic way to understand the The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) people, campus and community. However, if you do plan on visiting The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and other colleges in person, we strongly recommend that you at least prescreen your college options on CampusReel before spending the time and money to visit. Most prospective families find that as soon as the step on campus, they instantly know whether or not they like the school – but they’ve already spent all that time and money getting there! Our goal is to eliminate all the time and money visiting The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in person until you can make a strong educated guess that it’s worth the investment.
What places can I virtually tour at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)?
For your convenience, below is a list of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) places you can virtually tour on CampusReel.
- TCNJ Fitness Center at Campus Town at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- STEM Building at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Travers Tower at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- R. Barbara Gitenstein Library at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Norsworthy Hall at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Eickhoff Hall at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Allen Hall at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Roscoe L. West Hall at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Campus Town Retail Shops at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Green Hall at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Science Complex at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Cromwell Hall at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
- Brower Student Center at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
What are the downsides of a The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) virtual tour?
The downside of virtually touring The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) on CampusReel is that, admittedly, our technology does not yet mimic the exact feeling and experience of visiting The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in person. We are working on this though! A common request we also receive from users is to add more perspectives (e.g. student guides) to the platform. Rest assured we are working on adding more CampusReel guides to the The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) virtual tour. However, our selection of guides still far outweighs the available perspectives of traditional virtual tour platforms.
What are the benefits of a The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) virtual tour?
The most obvious benefit of a The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) virtual tour on CampusReel is that is can be accessed from anywhere. This can save families a lot of time and money compared to visiting The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in person . Another often overlooked benefit of a CampusReel virtual tour is that it goes far beyond a traditional in person tour The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) . Campus visits are limited both in time and scope – how are you expected to truly understand a college in a 1 hour tour? That’s why we stress the added benefit of CampusReel virtual tours – experience The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and Ewing during different seasons, days of the week, and even hours of the day. What’s game day like? What is finals week life? Again, traditional virtual touring platforms don’t include this benefit.
