Tour guide Eddy took us from Phoenix to the Grand Canton. Knowledgeable, personable and considerate guide. Highly recommend this company and this guide. Took us to the main viewing spots as well as the lesser known.

This trip was amazing. Our guide, Steve, was fantastic. We went to the Cameron Trading Post and had lunch before the canyon. The Navajo Taco was delicious!! Steve knew a lot about the Grand Canyon and took us to some great viewing spots. He made some great suggestions on places to visit at the Grand Canyon Village too. He clearly loves Arizona and knows about the plants, animals and history of the state. This was a great day trip to see the Grand Canyon!

Awesome!!!!!!!!!! This was such a great small group tour! We did the trip from Scottsdale to Sedona for the day for my girlfriends bachelorette. It was such an amazing tour! Our tour guide Jonathan was sooooo amazing! He took us to all the important spots, took all the pictures! We had amazing lunch and finished at the Winery! Honestly I couldn't have asked more from this tour it was the perfect tour! I generally can't stand tours but this one was GREAT! The van was so comfortable too! Book with them now!

We booked this for my husband's 40th birthday so I was nervous that it might not be what he wanted. Bobby was our tour guide and he exceeded our expectations! From my 11yr old daughter to the adults, everyone had a great time. We learned about the history of the Grand Canyon and got to explore on a fully customized trip. We ate lunch at the Indian reservation and had so many breathtaking moments. I know understand how not all things can be captured in a photo. You have to experience in person! Highly recommend! We already plan to come back next year.

We recently took this tour the 1st week in June. We have taken excursions/tours when visiting other places before, but we were beyond impressed with the experience with Arizona Scenic Tours. They were extremely organized, we were contacted very quickly after placing our reservation on viator, then we were provided with reminders up until the day before. I really liked that on the AM of pick up, our tour guide, Eddie, sent a picture of himself and vehicle, so we would know what to look for when he picked us up from the hotel. We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids, so there were consistent bathroom stops, but that was no issue. Eddie was awesome and provided us with facts and information the entire drive and even stopped along the way to show us certain things and took family pictures. Once we arrived at the canyon, he showed us many things, took family pictures and even gave us the option to explore on our own if we wanted. It was an awesome tour, he was great with our kids and engaged with them constantly. I can't say enough and would recommend that anyone considering taking this tour, go ahead and make their reservation. AZ Scenic Tours was great and I know our family will definitely do another one of their tours when in AZ again.

Excellent experience! My friend and I went to Phoenix for a long weekend and wanted to see something outside the city, so we contacted Steve about tour options. He was very responsive and answered all my questions, and we decided on the Grand Canyon/Sedona tour. The tour was amazing and everything - from pickup at the hotel, the ride itself, and the different stops- went smoothly and comfortable. Steve was the perfect tour guide, as he is very knowledgable about Arizona and shared many interesting facts. He is very personable and stayed flexible with timing and open to our preferences (the tour took 14 hours total). To sum it up: Scheduling tour 5/5 Tour guide 5/5 Tour itself 5/5 Stops/Sights 5/5 Cleanliness and condition of van 5/5 Price for what you get 5/5 Anything I didn't mention 5/5 Next time I make it back to Aizona, I will plan to take one of his other tours (they all sound great!).

Thanks very much for your review! We do everything we can to ensure a positive experience. The Grand Canyon tours are definitely a full day at 12 to 14 hours. We are glad it was worth every moment! We also have half day tours in Phoenix, and day tours to places such as Sedona and Tombstone that are about 10 to 11 hours in length, plus much more on our website. The link can be found on our Yelp page. Thanks again!! Hope to see you back in AZ!

Grand Canyon Loop Day Tour Is The Way To Go!! Great Experience! My friends had been giving me grief for years about living in Arizona since 1999 and never having been to the Grand Canyon - not that I even leave my zip code very often... After a recent, pretty severe round of ribbing from my friends, I went on line and discovered Arizona Scenic Tours. Reviews of the company and their tours were really good, and they offered exactly what I wanted, a one day Phoenix, Grand Canyon, and back day tour. Reviews of that particular tour made it sound like exactly what I wanted - an enjoyable tour with a great guide without me having to get behind the steering wheel to accomplish it. I contacted Steve, the owner, to find about availability, and he was able to book me for a very reasonable priced upcoming tour with two couples. He arranged for the tour to pick me up at my house in Scottsdale at 7:30 am on tour day, and drop me off back at home upon arriving back in the area around 8:30 that evening. What easier way could there be to see the Grand Canyon, and get my friends off of my back. I ended up having an enjoyable and enlightening day from start to finish. The tour guide, Mike, was friendly, affable, really knew his "stuff", was easy to listen to, and had great sense of humor. By the time he had all five of us on the tour in the van for a short while, we had become a comfortable and companionable group. We left the Phoenix area a little later than anticipated due to scattered pick up locations, but once on the road, we made good time. We learned that Mike had gone above and beyond the call of duty to arrange for a weather change from the rainy overcast day originally forecast for our tour, to a bright sunny one. Not every tour guide has those skills... Our first stop was Montezuma's Castle. I had been there previously, but it was much more interesting with all of the information and details that Mike brought to the table - most of which I didn't learn on my original visit there. He made sure we gained admission quickly and conveniently, and that we got back on the road in a timely manner. Arriving at, and leaving Montezuma's Castle, and throughout the trip, Mike made sure we were supplied with cold water, or soda if we preferred. All along the way from Phoenix, to the Castle, on to the Grand Canyon stops, and back Mike filled in the drive with information about the various areas we were passing through, including changes in vegetation at various elevations. The entire tour was much more interesting than I had anticipated, and I found that the day passed quickly. We visited overlooks at the Grand Canyon Village, Yavapai Point and Desert View Watchtower, each of which had unique views and attractions. There was plenty of time to grab food and take in the sights as we made the three stops. While not being intrusive, Mike was a wealth of information all along the way. I don't think I would have found the tour so interesting without the points that Mike was making. We even got to see and photograph several mule dear as we waited in line at a stop sign leaving our initial lookout. They seemed not even to notice the traffic as it passed them. We left our final stop at the Desert View Watchtower at around 5:15 pm, and headed past the Little Colorado River Gorge, and along the scenic route through the colorful Painted Desert. The sun set as we reached the vicinity of Flagstaff, and there wasn't much left to see after that point, but it had been a great day. Traffic delays caused us to get back to the Phoenix area a bit later than anticipated, but we were all pleased not to have been part of the Labor Day traffic backed up in the direction from which we had come. It was a great day, and I am now considering doing the Sedona tour next!

Great Tour!!!

It was an amazing experience! The tour was very customized since we were only three people. I really enjoyed the stories and conversation with Mike, our tour guide who really shows such a great enthusiasm that makes your trip very comfortable. I truly recomend Arizona Scenic tours!

arizona scenic tours reviews

Thanks so much for taking the time to give a review! I am glad to hear that you had a good time with Mike. He is an Arizona native and really enjoys showing our guests the sites of Arizona! Comfort is definitely a top concern for us, as we always try to make sure everyone feels safe, the ride is smooth, and with plenty of water on board. The small group nature of our tours is a big part of the experience here. It does make it easy to be flexible and give it that "customized" feel. Thanks again! Steve Owner, Arizona Scenic Tours

We were picked up from the home we were staying in Scottsdale, by our guide Noel. Throughout the trip to the Canyon he was very informative about many things, ranging from the plant life, rock formation and the history of peoples in Arizona. It was a great and personal trip, which allowed us to see so much natural beauty in very little time, while remaining very comfortable- all for a reasonable price! If you don't have much time to visit the Grand Canyon, I'd highly recommend this service. Although, you will wish you could stay for longer!

So happy to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Noel. He is a great guide to have, for a wealth of info about the Southwest and Arizona! The Grand Canyon is such an amazing place, I do agree that there is not enough time in the day... but it certainly is worth it. Thank you again for using our service. We hope to see you again here in the future.... perhaps for an overnight stay at the Canyon or in Sedona, so we can get you that "longer" stay! Steve Owner Arizona Scenic Tours

Steve picked up my husband and I in Sedona. From there we began a 3-day tour that included the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Canyon de Chelly (we watched the sun go down), Monument Valley, Lake Powell cruise, Glen Canyon Dam and Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. We spent two nights in good hotels (all arranged by Steve). There is not much else I can add to all the positive reviews you see on Trip Advisor regarding Steve and Arizona Scenic Tours. Steve answered all our questions; we were never rushed. And the best part was that we did not have to drive! Do not hesitate to hire Arizona Scenic Tours!

It was a pleasure having you on board for this three day adventure in Northern Arizona! The changes in scenery from place to place and day to day in the Southwest are always a marvel to share. Glad you enjoyed the trip and thank you very much for the suggestion on the small, portable, but powerful binoculars! I'm definitely looking into that upgrade! Steve Arizona Scenic Tours

Steve was extremely accommodating with some unusual plans that two friends and I made. We had a private tour where he picked us up in Phoenix and dropped us off in Sedona. It was so kind of him to work out these details with us so that we were able to see a bit of Sedona the next day. Steve is extremely knowledgable about the area and made the full-day tour really fun! His van was cool and comfortable, which eventually led to some of the girls napping on the way home! We cannot praise Steve enough for the fantastic day we had on his tour!

Thanks so much for your kind words about our service! Flexibility is key and the Sedona drop off was no problem. :) Whenever possible, we try to work with guests to make that sort of thing happen. Come back and see us sometime! Steve Az Scenic Tours

I enjoyed a fun, informative and amazing tour of the grand Canyon and Sedona with Arizona Scenic Tours. Our tour guide was fantastic, and provided a terrific tour! Top level recommendation for Arizona Scenic Tours!

arizona scenic tours reviews

Steve took my family and in-laws from the Philippines to Sedona and the Grand Canyon last year. Then, Noel took my nephew and his wife on the same tour last Friday. Both guys did an excellent narration , throughout the tour, on everything anybody would want to know about Arizona and its many wonders. I have lived here for 35 years and learned more on that trip than I could imagine. I highly advise anyone interested in an informative tour, to take theirs.

Thank you so much again for returning to Arizona Scenic Tours for you and your visiting family! It was a pleasure on both occasions to share the Southwest with all of you. I am glad that I was able to be a part of getting you out there to see more of Arizona!! Hope to see you again! Steve Arizona Scenic Tours

Arizona is rich in Native American history & lore, the influence of Spanish explorations, a vibrant Mexican culture and of course most “recently”, our Pioneer heritage. The Arizona Tourism Industry and the people throughout our state strive to highlight this history and do everything that we can to help it grow and survive into the future. From Ancient Civilizations to New Spain to Mexican territorial times through Pioneer days and today, the people that built our state are the difference. The Native Americans built great dwellings in the cliffs and lived off of the land by designing incredible irrigation systems. The Spanish and Mexican cultures have influenced every aspect of our Southwestern life. The Pioneers shaped the economy into what it is today with copper mining, cattle ranching, agriculture and more… Come to Arizona and we’ll show you first hand how the people are the difference.
