Those who imagine checking off 32 countries from the travel bucket list – all in 110 days, from the comfort of a beautiful cruise ship where the cruise line takes care of all the planning, local connections in port, meals, entertainment and more – can make this travel dream a reality with the 2024 World Cruise onboard Coral Princess. On sale Dec. 1, the cruise of a lifetime departs on April 30, 2024 from Sydney and May 2, 2024 from Brisbane.

  • Departures from six Australia and New Zealand homeports including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth (Fremantle), Adelaide, and Auckland.
  • Extended More Ashore stays in a variety of destinations including overnights in Tahiti (Papeete) and Cairns, as well as late night stays in Auckland, Hong Kong, Honolulu, San Francisco, Tahiti (Papeete) and Vancouver.
  • Access to over 14 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia (from Port Douglas), the Greater Blue Mountains (from Sydney) and The Tasmanian Wilderness (from Burnie).

Two unique cruisetours are also available:

  • Australian Outback: Guests have the opportunity to immersive themselves in Aboriginal culture and visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites--soak in the brilliant underwater colors of the Great Barrier Reef and watch the setting sun transform the sky as Uluru National Park's iconic Uluru (formerly known as Ayers Rock) glows red from afar.
  • Ultimate Australia: This extensive cruisetour guides guests through the highlights of Sydney, Uluru/Ayers Rock in the heart of the Outback, Darwin, Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.

Voyages will be open for sale at 2 pm PST on Dec. 1, 2021. Guests booking the 110-day World Cruise by April 30, 2022 will receive AUD$1,000 Onboard Credit per person.

Sydney Harbour Bridge. Australia.

Circular Quay is the perfect place to start exploring Sydney. You can find the Opera House here and Harbour Bridge is within walking distance. Stride into one of the many walking and pub tours that leave from here. Just 20 minutes away, you can stretch your legs on the iconic Harbour Bridge walk, the first of its kind in the world.

People enjoying Manly beach in Sydney, Australia

People enjoying Manly beach in Sydney, Australia

Bondi Beach gets all the attention, but Manly Beach in the Northern Beaches is a bit more local. The Corso is lined with shops and restaurants, including local favourite, Hugo's. If surfing is your thing, this is the place to be. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a fantastic way to soak in the city's coastline.

The Gap at Watsons Bay in Sydney, Australia

Walk Watsons

Hop on the ferry or one of the regular buses that go to Watsons Bay to enjoy the scenic hike around South Head. During your journey, you'll enjoy views of Sydney Harbour, North Head, the historic Hornby Lighthouse and, of course, the sapphire-blue Pacific Ocean. The Gap offers breathtaking views of the sea from the rocky cliffside.

A plate of fresh Sydney rock oysters

Local Cuisine

With all the water surrounding you, it's no surprise that seafood takes centre stage on many plates in the city. Head to Sydney Fish Market for giant Sydney Rock oysters or classic fish and ships. Stop into a local pie shop for a traditional Australian meat pie, or explore Sydney's international side with udon or ramen noodles at a Japanese noodle bar, or seek out prawn dumplings in Chinatown.

An opal ring displayed on a stone

There are plenty of shopping centres in the heart of the city, including Westfield Mall, Pitt Street Mall and the wonderful Queen Victoria Building, which is now a shopping centre featuring top designers. Seek out cutting boards made from local camphor laurel – they're not only beautiful but also have natural antimicrobial properties. During your Sydney cruise holiday, look for jewellery made from opal, the national gemstone of Australia.

July Cruises

You’ve never done summer like this before

Celebrate summer with a cruise in July on one of Celebrity’s award-winning ships. There’s an adventure for every taste—a culture-packed voyage around the cool cities of the Baltic, perhaps, or a leisurely journey to some of the most glamorous ports in the Mediterranean. If tropical beaches are calling, then choose the Caribbean for long, relaxing days on Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach, or snorkeling over dazzling coral gardens in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Bermuda’s pink sands and teeming reefs might be just as tempting.

Perhaps you’re intrigued by wildlife, in which case, the pristine forests and rocky coasts of Alaska could be the answer, where you’ll see bears, whales, bald eagles, and sea otters in their glorious natural habitat. Or you could explore the volcanic Galapagos Islands, where you’ll spot fascinating species including giant tortoises, penguins, and prehistoric-looking iguanas.

Itineraries

Top july cruise destinations, scandinavia.

By July, the Scandinavian summer is in full swing. Enjoy leafy pub gardens in chic Copenhagen, wander endless beaches under vast skies in Skagen, on the northerly tip of Denmark, and explore the cobblestone streets of Tallinn, which appear straight out of a fairytale. Visit Stockholm’s fantastic museums, whether you’re into ABBA or maritime history, and admire the work of Norway’s greatest painter at the Munch in Oslo. On cruises from Rotterdam, you’ll have a day in edgy, arty Berlin, too.

Italy, France & Spain

Explore the glamorous Mediterranean in July, where the stylish Celebrity Edge will sail all summer long. Gaze at shimmering contemporary architecture in Valencia, feast on tapas in Palma, and wander through the shaded alleys of Dalt Vila in Ibiza. See the astonishing Leaning Tower of Pisa, and marvel at Florence’s magnificent cathedral. Stroll the waterfront in glamorous Portofino, and from Cannes, head into the mountains to visit medieval villages, all on one unforgettable voyage.

A cruise to Alaska is the best way to see the state’s wild terrains and rugged beauty. Witness whales and other marine life navigating the northern waters. Soar over the most stunning landscapes in North America via helicopter and get a bird’s-eye view of Alaska’s breathtaking glaciers, extraordinary snow-capped mountains, and wild brown bears. Tick an item off your bucket list by visiting the 76-mile-long Hubbard Glacier, the world’s longest tidewater glacier.

If complete relaxation is on your mind, book a Caribbean cruise, where your worries will melt away under the warm sun, tropical beats, and friendly smiles. Wander through old Mayan ruins in Mexico, bask in the sun on Grand Cayman’s famous 7 Mile Beach, and savor authentic Key lime pie in Key West. Or, head to the Eastern Caribbean and visit Puerto Rico’s Old San Juan and its historic fort overlooking the ocean, swim over the coral reefs of St. Thomas, and play with dolphins in the Bahamas.

An all-inclusive vacation to the exotic Galapagos Islands is another class of adventure. On Galapagos cruises in July, you’ll experience some of the most extraordinary and diverse wildlife that the world has to offer. Certified naturalists on board will give you the inside scoop on the islands’ creatures. Snorkel with sea turtles, wander past iguanas, and birdwatch along the dramatic landscapes that only the Galapagos can deliver.

Sail from Cape Liberty to the subtropical island of Bermuda, where flower-filled gardens line country lanes and the rocky coast is fringed with exquisite beaches, some a delicate shade of pink. You’ll spend two nights at the historic Royal Naval Dockyard, with plenty of time to explore massive fortifications, a craft market, and buzzing restaurants. Take a romantic sunset catamaran sail, marvel at the rock formations of the Crystal Caves, and snorkel over vibrant coral reefs.
