Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy have told ITV News Meridian "it was such a whirlwind" when they first started out in Westlife and Boyzone.

They were talking at The Hexagon theatre in Reading, as their Boyzlife tour hits theatres across the South East.

Brian says: "I think for both of us, we never expected when we started how big it was going to be. I think we all had dreams of what we wanted to do.

"I think for me personally my dream was just to be in a band and perform."

Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden were in two of the biggest boybands of the 90s and the noughties, Boyzone and Westlife.

Between them they've had multiple number one singles and sold millions of records worldwide.

In 2016 the long term pals decided to come together to form a new band, Boyzlife.

On being back on stage again, Keith told Natalie, "If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life."

As well as new music, fans can expect some of the classics from Boyzone and Westlife weaved into the setlist.

Brian says: "If you look at the songs we wrote when we were kids, they would have been inspired by young love or young relationships or things in your life.

"It's a lot easier when you get older and more experienced to find things to be inspired to write about."

When asked if they ever annoy each other he added: "There's lots of times when we are both in good moods and they are great weeks but like any other family we have our days when we're in different moods and we can get on each other's nerves a bit."

Boyzlife the tour is headed to Bournemouth, Oxford, Southend-on-Sea, Folkestone, Guildford, Portsmouth and Dartford.

The Irish boybands are said to be joining forces, McBusted style.

Boyzone ’s Keith Duffy and ex- Westlife member Brian McFadden are combining their boyband powers to form new supergroup, Boyzlife. The pair will be performing some of their respective group’s biggest hits together, with an 11-date tour starting in October.

The idea came from Keith, who went on to act in ‘Coronation Street’ after Boyzone initially split in 2000, the plan was hatched during Ronan Keating ’s wedding last year. The duo are hoping that their collaboration will lead to a full on supergroup featuring more members from each band.

Speaking to The Sun , Brian said: “We all had a chat, the lads. We said it would be amazing. Not even just performing together, but can you imagine the craic? Nine of us Irish lads on a tour bus together, going round the world together.”

“It would be absolute carnage. We all get on so well so you never know. We would have so much fun on tour. We could end up adding more people to the next one. Right now this is about me and Keith but the door is always open.”

The duo are also open to the possibility of a television show, documenting the supergroup. “It might end up on TV and we’ll record a documentary of it,” Keith said. “We might end up writing some songs together. There’s no limit to this. We’re going out there with our ears and eyes open.”

Boyzlife would follow in the footsteps of McBusted, who were formed in 2013 by members of McFly and Busted. The group went on to release an album, something which Brian isn't ruling out for Boyzlife.

“I’m sure that if that ever did happen we’d make new music,” Brian said. “Westlife have had 14 No1s, Boyzone have had nine or ten. There’s a lot of material we could perform. But we wouldn’t want to tour old music all the time. We love making music.”

Introducing Boyzlife, the Boyzone and Westlife supergroup

Nope, it isn’t april fools’ day just yet, two members of boyzone and westlife have really teamed up for a new supergroup named boyzlife..

Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden are embarking on a UK tour later this year, kicking off in October.

Here’s the rather dapper tour poster shared by the duo today:

That’s right, the ’90s popstars will always be sharing stories from their time in the respective bands, as well as performing live.

In a press release, Duffy says, “Brian and I have been talking about this for a while so it’s really exciting to finally be able to reveal Boyzlife. We can’t wait to get out on the road and reconnect with our fans, taking a trip down memory lane.”

With McFadden adding: “Keith and I have always been great friends and we’ve wanted to work together for quite a while now. With the amount of stories between us we knew it would make for a great live show, mixed in with a few songs!”

Westlife and Boyzone team up to form Boyzlife

Members of Irish boybands Boyzone and Westlife have teamed up to form a new supergroup called Boyzlife.

Boyzone's Keith Duffy and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden will perform both bands' greatest hits on a nationwide tour in the United Kingdom this year.

The project, funded by Hilton hotel group, will see them performing at Hilton hotels around the country.

While its just a duo for now, the pair hopes that more of their bandmates will join them soon.

"We all had a chat, the lads. We said it would be amazing," said McFadden in an interview with The Sun.

"Nine of us Irish lads on a tour bus together, going round the world together. It would be absolute carnage. We all get on so well so you never know. We would have so much fun on tour."

McFadden left Westlife in 2004 for family reasons.

The remaining four members have continued the band without him until they disbanded in 2012.

Duffy was a member of Boyzone from 1993-2000.

He pursued a career in the film and television industry after they disbanded in 2000.

Duffy and McFadden said they are open to the idea of writing new music and creating a reality series documenting the reunion.

Westlife, Boyzone to form supergroup?

LONDON — After Take That — who will perform in Singapore this weekend — first broke up in the 1990s, two boy bands quickly moved in to fill the gap: Boyzone and Westlife.

And, now, it seems these two are working to combine forces to form a nine-man supergroup called Boyzlife, and fans could see them perform together as early as October.

Former Westlife lead singer Brian McFadden revealed in an interview with The Sun newspaper in the United Kingdom that he and Boyzone’s Keith Duffy, 41, are trying to gather their former bandmates for a merger.

“Nine of us Irish lads on a tour bus together, going around the world together. It would be absolute carnage. We all get on so well, so you never know. We would have so much fun on tour,” the 35-year-old McFadden said.

The Sun reported that the venture had been discussed at the wedding of Boyzone lead singer Ronan Keating last year. Commenting on the idea of a team-up with Westlife, Keating said it would be “fun” and that he “would never say never to those sort of things”.

Boyzone was first put together in 1993 by Louis Walsh, who was later Westlife’s manager, and was popular for hits such as No Matter What and Picture Of You. From Dublin To Detroit (released in 2014) was the last studio album that Boyzone recorded.

Westlife was formed in July 1998 and disbanded in June 2012 after the release of their Greatest Hits album, which included wildly popular songs such as their remake of Uptown Girl, Seasons In The Sun and My Love. McFadden was the first member to bow out of Westlife to spend more time with his family in 2004 and pursue his solo career.

At the moment, only McFadden and Duffy are fully on board, having paired up for a 12-stop UK tour called the Boyzlife tour, which will kick off in London later this year. They will be performing the separate group’s biggest hits from over the years.

“We could end up adding more people to the next one. Right now this is about me and Keith but the door is always open,” McFadden added.

According to the official tour website, the Boyzlife tour is centred on the untold story behind the artistes’ lives in Westlife and Boyzone. Audiences can expect “captivating tales of the highs and lows” and an intimate performance.

McFadden and Duffy are also hoping to write new music and record a documentary series on the reunion. “We wouldn’t want to tour old music all the time. We love making music,” McFadden said. WONG PEI TING

Boyzlife announce 2025 UK tour celebrating Boyzone and Westlife’s biggest hits

Boyzlife – starring Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy – will return to the road in 2025 for their first UK tour in two years. 

The duo will celebrate the hits of Westlife and Boyzone across 14 shows, which launch in January and run through March. 

They’ll play dates in Birmingham, London, Glasgow, York, Sheffield and more.

Members of pop groups Boyzone and Westlife have teamed up to form new ‘supergroup’ Boyzlife .

Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden will embark on a UK tour later this year, kicking off in October. The tour will consist of 12 dates in total, with tickets on sale from 9am on March 8.

In a press release, Duffy says of the news: “Brian and I have been talking about this for a while so it’s really exciting to finally be able to reveal Boyzlife. We can’t wait to get out on the road and reconnect with our fans, taking a trip down memory lane.”

McFadden added: “Keith and I have always been great friends and we’ve wanted to work together for quite a while now. With the amount of stories between us we knew it would make for a great live show, mixed in with a few songs!”

McFadden also hinted to The Sun that the other members of the two acts might be open to joining the supergroup. He said: “We all had a chat [at Ronan Keating’s wedding last year], the lads. We said it would be amazing. Not even just performing together, but can you imagine the craic?”

Brian McFadden originally left Westlife in 2004, with the remaining members continuing as a fourpiece until 2012.

There are few acts that accomplished the level of success that Boyzone and Westlife respectively achieved as two of the defining groups of 90s and 00s boyband era, with an incredible 21+ UK No.1 singles and millions of audience members performed to worldwide.  

Now, Boyzlife, the supergroup comprised of Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden, will head out on a UK tour in 2025, celebrating the iconic and defining hits from both acts with their first tour in two years.  

Joining forces in 2016, when both Keith and Brian had left their respective groups, the incredibly popular touring pop-duo of Boyzlife has performed for more than 100,000 ecstatic fans across Europe and the UK since its inception, with two complete sell-out tours either side of the Covid pandemic. 

As part of Westlife, Brian holds a record-breaking seven consecutive UK and Ireland number ones, as well as 12 chart toppers overall. The band sold more than 30 million records globally and secured four number one albums. Brian also went on to achieve solo success after Westlife securing a UK number one with ‘Real To Me’.  

Keith also enjoyed great success as a member of Boyzone with six number one UK singles, including 16 out of their first 17 releases making the top 5. The group had five number one albums and sold over 25 million records worldwide. 

The 2025 Boyzlife tour will see the duo perform a mixture of hits from both of their individual supergroups, including from Boyzone: ‘I Love The Way You Love Me’, ‘All That I Need’, ‘No Matter What’ and from Westlife: ‘My Love’, ‘I Lay My Love On You’, ‘Uptown Girl’.

It’s time for you to recount all your 90’s pop favourites as two of Ireland’s biggest boy blast from the past like Boyzone and Westlife are touring the UK together this autumn.

Members of Boyzone and Westlife are forming a supergroup called Boyzlife (naturally) and heading to perform in twelve venues across the UK, starting this October 16 in London at the Hilton Bankside.

Note that we said “members” and these only include Westlife’s Brian McFadden and Boyzone’s Keith Duffy for now. But not to worry the fans who’ve been hoping to see all the “boys” on stage together again, McFadden told  The Sun : “We all had a chat. We said it would be amazing. Not even just performing together, but can you imagine the craic? Nine of us Irish lads on a tour bus together, going round the world together. It would be absolutely carnage. Right now this is about me and Keith but the door is always open.”

Boyzone and Westlife once performed together to honour Steven Gately.

Boyzlife is the supergroup formed by long time pals  Keith Duffy  and  Brian McFadden  who previously appeared as members of ’90s and ’00s boybands Boyzone and Westlife, respectively.

We say members; so far its one member from each group - Westlife's Brian McFadden and Boyzone's Keith Duffy - though they are leaving the doors wide open for more members to join in.

Ronan Keating has previously hinted at a Boyzone-Westlife team-up to celebrate Boyzone's 25th anniversary, which falls in 2018.

Amazing show, only downside was being there for a certain time yet the venue was last opening and getting us in then rushing us through meet and greet but that aside I loved every minute xx

There are few acts that accomplished the level of success that Boyzone and Westlife respectively achieved as two of the defining groups of 90s and 00s boyband era, with an incredible 21+ UK No.1 singles and countless millions of audience members performed to worldwide.

Now, Boyzlife , the supergroup comprised of Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden, will head out on a UK tour in 2025, celebrating the iconic and defining hits from both acts with their first tour in two years.

They’ll be performing a mixture of Boyzone and Westlife’s classic tracks on the 14-date tour, which will run from January through until March and will head to Birmingham, London, Glasgow, York, Sheffield and more.

Westlife công bố lịch diễn tại Hà Nội, nhóm 911 là khách mời đặc biệt

Trên fanpage hơn 6,8 triệu người theo dõi, boyband đình đám một thời westlife chia sẻ vô cùng hào hứng khi biểu diễn tại hà nội, việt nam vào ngày 4 và 5/6 tới. vé bắt đầu được bán từ 13/5..

Đêm nhạc Westlife “The Hits Tour 2024” do Trung tâm Tổ chức Biểu diễn Nghệ thuật và Sự kiện Văn hóa - Nhà hát Lớn Hà Nội phối hợp với một công ty tổ chức. Đây là sự kiện âm nhạc quốc tế hướng tới Kỷ niệm 70 năm Giải phóng Thủ đô cũng như chiến lược phát triển ngành công nghiệp văn hoá. 

Cùng với thông báo của Westlife , đơn vị tổ chức đêm diễn của nhóm tại Việt Nam xác nhận ban nhạc pop huyền thoại với các thành viên Shane, Nicky, Kian sẽ quay lại Việt Nam trong một phần của tour diễn được mong chờ nhất The Hits Tour 2024 .

Dừng chân tại Hà Nội, nhóm nhạc nổi tiếng Ireland sẽ biểu diễn tại Cung điền kinh Mỹ Đình trong hai ngày 4 và 5/6. 

Cùng với Boyzone, Westlife là một trong những boyband nổi tiếng và được yêu thích nhất cuối thập niên 1990 và thập niên 2000 với vô số bản hit được khán giả Việt Nam thuộc lòng như: My Love, I Lay My Love on You, Fool Again, Soledad, Uptown Girl...  

Với sự nghiệp kéo dài hơn hai thập kỷ, Westlife đã mê hoặc khán giả toàn cầu với các bản hit đứng đầu bảng xếp hạng và những buổi biểu diễn trực tiếp đặc sắc. Nếu như hầu hết các boyband đình đám ra đời từ cuối thập niên 1990 như: Backstreet Boys, Boyzone... đều đã tan rã thì Westlife vẫn duy trì lượng fan lớn trải dài qua nhiều thập kỷ dù các thành viên đều ở tuổi U50. 

Vẻ ngoài đẹp trai, giọng hát ngọt ngào và phong cách biểu diễn thu hút khiến Westlife có sức hút khổng lồ, không chỉ với các fan trung thành nhiều năm mà với cả các fan mới bất chấp sự xuất hiện của vô số nhóm nhạc. Đến nay, ngoài những buổi diễn bán sạch vé, Westlife đã tiêu thụ được hơn 55 triệu đĩa nhạc trên toàn cầu.   

Năm 2011, người hâm mộ sốc khi Westlife đột ngột tuyên bố tan rã. Tuy nhiên, năm 2018 họ tái hợp rồi sau đó phát hành 2 album Spectrum (2019) và Wild Dreams (2021), trở lại trong những tour diễn "cháy" vé.

Cuối tháng 11/2023, Westlife khiến người hâm mộ Việt háo hức với các buổi diễn đông nghẹt ở Sân vận động Thống Nhất, TP.HCM. Khán giả khắp nơi đặt vé vào TP.HCM để được nghe thần tượng biểu diễn trực tiếp.

911 - nhóm nhạc nổi tiếng cùng thời với Westlife từng đả phá các bảng xếp hạng MTV Most Wanted cuối thập niên 1990 và đầu thập niên 2000 cũng góp mặt trong The Hits Tour 2024  với tư cách khách mời đặc biệt.

Đây chính là nhóm nhạc tham gia MV Em đồng ý (I DO) của Đức Phúc ra mắt dịp Valentine năm ngoái, đến nay đã đạt 66 triệu lượt xem trên YouTube.

Đặc biệt, theo thông tin từ Ban tổ chức, nhóm 911 - nhóm nhạc nổi tiếng cùng thời với Westlife từng đả phá các bảng xếp hạng MTV Most Wanted cuối thập niên 1990, đầu thập niên 2000 cũng sẽ góp mặt trong “The Hits Tour 2024” với tư cách khách mời đặc biệt. 911 cũng chính là nhóm nhạc từng tham gia MV “Em đồng ý” (I DO) của Đức Phúc ra mắt dịp Valentine năm 2023, đến nay đã đạt 66 triệu lượt xem trên YouTube.
