How do you check your size?

Get your favorite t-shirt and lay it on a flat surface and follow the fit guide below. Check the size chart for each item to find the size that fits you best. Keep in mind our size charts are based on t-shirt specs, not body measurements. Allow 1/2 inch tolerance.

• How to measure: Please multiply bust and waist by 2 to get the all around measurement.
• Chest: Measure from left seam to right seam one inch below the armhole.
• Waist: Measure from left seam to right seam at the waistline.
• Length: Measure from the top of the front collar to the bottom of the shirt.

• Burnout: Burnout tees use a chemical technique to dissolve certain fibers, leaving a sheer, semi-transparent pattern against the solid fabric. Burnout fabrics give a totally unique, vintage-worn look and feel.
• Heavyweight: A thicker, heavier fabric than our classic interlocking knit. Heavyweight tees are usually made from cotton or hemp.
• Sheer: Sheer tees are made from extremely thin, semi-translucent fabric that stretches to form-fit.
• Soft: Soft tees are made with either higher thread-count cotton than our classic interlock knit tees or with a blend of cotton and one or more synthetic fabrics. Soft tees and softer, lighter, thinner, and often sized more snugly than classic cotton tees.
• Super-Soft: Like our soft tees but even softer and more comfortable to the touch.
• Classic Fit: A standard, basic-cut tee. Classic fit tees are loose around the midsection and arms and a little snugger at the chest.
• Fitted: Fitted t-shirts feature a snugger, more vintage cut. Tighter around the sleeves and midsection than a classic fit tee, these are cut a size down from classic fit tees.
• Slim Fit: A sleeker cut than our fitted tees, narrower around the waist and ideal for slim-built women and teenagers.
• Plus-Size: Similar in proportions to classic fit t-shirts, but sized up for larger individuals.
• Relaxed Fit: Relaxed fit tees are cut wider at the torso to wear loose for a light, billowy feel.

Brucewatch: Bruce Springsteen turns up at his favourite Dublin chipper for a second time

Where is bruce springsteen with a few days left in ireland, you never know where the boss will turn up.

Ireland is thoroughly in the thrall of The Boss, with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band almost finished their four-date Irish tour. They played at Boucher Road in Belfast on Thursday, May 9th, Nowlan Park in Kilkenny on Sunday, May 12th and Cork’s Park Uí Chaoimh on Thursday, May 16th. Next up is the grand finale at Dublin’s Croke Park on May 19th. With just a few days left to explore, you never know where Springsteen will turn up or who he’ll visit – he dropped in to the late Shane MacGowan and Charlie Bird on his last visit. But where has he been spotted so far?

The Boss must think Christmas comes to Ireland in May, because as per a request on a sign, Springsteen broke into Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town on Thursday night in Cork.

Springsteen has gone to Leo Burdock’s flagship fish and chip shop in Christchurch twice in the last few days – once last Friday, and once on Wednesday. The classic Dublin takeaway has previously referred to The Boss as a regular, and we are beginning to think they are right.

In a comment on their Facebook post in response to queries asking what The Boss’s order is, Burdock’s said: “I believe fresh cod and goujons but his all time favourite is lemon sole.”

The classic Dublin takeaway has also hosted the likes of U2 and Tom Cruise.

Springsteen shared a heartwarming moment with a young fan at his Belfast gig on Thursday night.

The Boss walked down to the crowd mid-show during the song Hungry Heart, and gifted Farrah Lavery from Aghagallon, Co Antrim, who was at her first concert, one of his guitar picks, before embracing her in a hug, which her father joined.

The girl was one of about 40,000 attendees at the concert with her parents and brother, and was sitting on her father’s shoulders when Springsteen approached her with the gift.

Farrah wore an “I Heart Bruce” T-shirt and had a sign requesting Sherry Darling, which as her mother Michelle Lavery said, “only real fans would know”.

“We play that song every single day on the way to school and we get ready for the day ahead and it keeps us in a good mood,” Lavery said. Springsteen has accompanied the mother of two throughout her life, in good times and in bad, she said.

But when her daughter told her she was going to make a sign to request the song, she did not expect Bruce to see it.

“He [Bruce] was a few songs in, he was in good form, but he made a beeline just over the stage to our side,” Lavery said. “He stopped a bit in front of us and then he kept looking at her and singing to her, and then he made his way over to her with his hands held out”.

“He talked to her, rather than singing to her, and she was singing back, and he said, ‘Can I have a hug?’”

The family went home with not only Springsteen’s guitar pick, but the setlist from the night too. They also said they were planning to go to Kilkenny to see The Boss in Nowlan Park on Sunday.

“Springsteen has been such a major part of her life, and I’m so glad for her, she’s so lucky, it’s just brilliant,” Lavery said. “How could her mother not be proud?”

“I’m so glad I made the decision to take her,” she said, “it turned out to be probably the greatest experience certainly of her life, but of mine too. I’m so proud to be able to look at something that meant so much to me and share it with my children.”

Earlier in the week, eagle-eyed fan Stephen Coulter had a not-so chance meeting with The Boss outside the Culloden hotel, where the performer is staying. He spoke to The Irish Times while he queued for Springsteen’s Boucher Road concert on Thursday night.

“I knew there’d be a private jet coming from Cardiff into Belfast so I just kept an eye on flight tracker and normally when he plays Belfast he always stays in the Culloden so I just kept an eye on the flight and took my chance there,” Coulter said.

“There was a member of the entourage there – he’s obviously there to make sure everybody was ready for him coming – so he just told me to stand just in a certain spot, told me not to move, then the cavalcade [arrived].”

“Bruce was the first one off the bus and more or less came straight walking up and I’d a Born to Run album and asked him would he sign it, he signed it and I got an emotional selfie with him, should we say,” Coulter laughed.

“It happened so quick – it’s over and done with in minutes so you’ve a load of questions you’re going to ask but you get the essentials done, the photograph and the autograph.”

It was 55-year-old Coulter’s first time meeting Springsteen, having first seen him in concert in 1985 in Slane when he was 16, “so I’ve been following him for a while”, he said.

“The album’s already away to get framed, I haven’t got it back yet but hopefully it’ll be worth looking at; it’ll get pride of place somewhere in the house.”

The Culloden Estate and Spa is a five-star resort hotel in the leafy Holywood suburb of Belfast. The hotel overlooks Belfast Lough and the Co Antrim coastline, with 12 acres of secluded gardens and woodland – offering The Boss some privacy.

The  Born in the U.S.A. Tour  was the supporting concert tour of  Bruce Springsteen 's  Born in the U.S.A.  album. It was his longest and most successful tour to date. It featured a physically transformed Springsteen; after two years of bodybuilding, the singer had bulked up considerably. The tour was the first since the 1974 portions of the  Born to Run tours without guitarist  Steven Van Zandt , who decided to go solo after recording the album with the group. Van Zandt, who was replaced by  Nils Lofgren , would appear a few times throughout the tour and in some of the music videos to promote the album. It was also the first tour to feature Springsteen's future wife,  Patti Scialfa .

The tour started in June 1984 and went through the United States and to Canada. In March 1985 the tour went to Australia, Japan and Europe. It then headed back for a second leg of the U.S. tour in which Springsteen and the  E Street Band  played to sold-out professional football stadiums. The tour finished in October 1985 in Los Angeles.

The tour grossed $80–90 million overall. Of that, $34 million came from Springsteen's summer 1985 stadium dates in North America. [1]  The  Born in the U.S.A.  album was inside the top 10 of the  Billboard  200 during the entire tour. Springsteen also was enjoying a hit single from the album (there were seven in total) during any moment of the tour. The album along with Springsteen's previous album,  Nebraska , which he did not tour to promote, were performed in their entirety throughout the tour. Total attendance was 3.9 million.

'How Do You Do It?' Read the First-Ever Exchange Between Bruce Springsteen and Michael Jackson (Exclusive)

PEOPLE happened to be in the room when the Jersey rocker and King of Pop met for the very first time

It was Dec. 30, 1984, and Bruce Springsteen had just caught the Jackson's Victory Tour stop in Philadelphia. Backstage, the rocker lingered at an intimate VIP reception, greeted by Michael Jackson himself in a moment captured by a PEOPLE reporter. Funny enough, Springsteen had just been featured in PEOPLE, a moment Jackson was interested to chat about.

Springsteen, then 35, was wearing boots, faded jeans, a short-sleeved shirt rolled up to free his biceps and a red kerchief knotted around his neck. Jackson, then 26, was fresh from a post-concert shower. He wore a pink button-down shirt over a white T-shirt, dusty rose pants so long they accordioned at the bottom and blue slippers with his initials stitched in gold.

Michael Jackson [ extending a handshake ] : Hi. I just read about you in PEOPLE magazine. It was very good.

Bruce Springsteen: Oh, thanks. I really enjoyed seeing your show tonight.

MJ: I hear you play long concerts. How long do you go?

BS: Oh, about three hours.

MJ: How do you do it? Do you take a break?

BS: Yeah, about a half hour. It works out pretty good, I guess.

Jackson’s eyes flitted about the room. He seemed anxious to think of another question, the way he seemed anxious onstage at the end of a song to sing another song. Springsteen sucked on an ice cube.

MJ: Did you write that song “Fire” [sung by the Pointer Sisters]?

BS: Yeah, that was a quick one. Only took me about 10 minutes. But I don’t write when I’m on the road. Can you?

MJ: No. There’s too much going on.

A reggae song came on the television nearby, and Jackson started a dance step, then stopped himself. Couldn’t he simply ask Springsteen back into his empty bedroom so they could talk like two normal human beings, maybe discover that they both loved watching reruns of The Honeymooners? During the lull Michael seemed to be looking for a prop.

MJ: My secretary, Shari, wants you for Christmas. [ He put his arm around Shari and pulled her between them. ]

BS: [ laughing ] What’s wrong with Thanksgiving?

BS: Yeah, I tell stories. People like that, I’ve learned. They like to hear your voice do something besides singing. They go wild when you just ... talk.

MJ: Oh, I could never do that. It feels like people are learning something about you they shouldn’t know.

BS: I kinda know what you mean — the songs are a protection. But I remember once I played for a Vietnam veterans’ benefit and I had togo onstage to introduce this guy who was a president or something, and I didn’t have my guitar. Man, I was shaking. I realized it was the first time in 15 years I’d been onstage without it, and I’ve never been so nervous in my life.”

MJ: Do you like talking in front of all these people? It feels kind of strange.

BS: Yeah, it is strange, isn’t it? How long did you rehearse for this tour?

MJ: Oh, one or two months ... We’ll finish up in December. Then we’re going to do a movie.

BS: Yeah, I heard about that — with Steven Spielberg ?

MJ: Yes, as a matter of fact, I just spoke on the phone with him today. It’s not certain just what the movie will be yet, but it will be with him.

Pause. Jackson’s hands rapped the rhythm of the song on his thighs.

MJ: I read you go right to sleep after you perform. You can’t really do that, can you?

BS: No, I feel good after a concert, because I feel like I’ve worked hard. I stay up till about 4. What do you do?

MJ: I watch TV or read. I can’t go to sleep.

BS: Don’t you ever go out?

MJ: I can’t. Too many people would bother me ... How did you decide to let PEOPLE magazine do that story on you?

BS: I just rolled the dice. [ Springsteen blew on his fist and tossed imaginary dice. ]

MJ: Oh, I could never trust anyone enough to do that. [ Jackson took a fleeting scan of the room .] Well, I think I’m gonna slide on out now. It was real nice meeting you.

He thrust out his hand quickly and walked through the door. Springsteen lingered for a moment. “You know,” he said, spitting an ice cube back into his cup, “he’s just a real nice guy.”

New Bruce Springsteen Documentary Set for Hulu and Disney+

A new documentary about Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will stream on Hulu and Disney+ in October. Thom Zimny’s Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band follows Springsteen and his band as they rehearse and perform on their 2023-2024 world tour . It’ll also feature interviews with Springsteen and archival clips of the band.

Zimny is a longtime Springsteen collaborator who’s recently directed the musician’s Western Stars and Letter to You films and the Springsteen on Broadway Netflix special . Zimny is also one of the film’s producers, alongside Springsteen, the rock star’s longtime manager, Jon Landau, Adrienne Gerard, and Sean Stuart.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band began their world tour on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. Along the way, the group has performed in the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom. The tour is currently scheduled to conclude on Friday, November 22, 2024, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
