How to Order Disney Cruise Line Room Decor and Onboard Gifts

Sailing on Disney Cruise Line is so much fun! You can decorate your Disney Cruise Line stateroom with your own decor or you can order room decor through Disney Cruise Line, so your room is already decorated when you walk in for an even bigger wow factor!

How to Order a Disney Cruise Line Room Decor Package

If you want to add a little extra pixie dust to your Disney Cruise Line room, you can order a Disney Cruise Line room decor package through Onboard Gifts . 

And it’s not only room decor! You can order Birthday Cakes, jewelry, sweets and snacks, alcohol, Star Wars and Marvel themed gifts and more. if you’re not the one sailing, you can also surprise a friend or family member with any of these options!

All packages and gifts must be ordered at least 3 days in advance of sail date. You can browse gift and room decor options with a reservation number or by port as some options may be different. 

Personally I’d rather spend my money on a room decor package to take home some souvenirs, because there is so much food and desserts on board the ships! Or I’d splurge on Palo Brunch as it’s my favorite meal.

Birthday Celebrations on Disney Cruise Line

There is also a birthday room package for Disney Cruise Line to help celebrate a birthday. Or again, you can also bring some of your own room decorations from home.

We did order my daughter a birthday cake in January of 2022 while we were onboard, and it was a fun surprise for her! We had to order at least 24 hours in advance at Guest Relations and they delivered it to her during our main dining room time. We were so full and had so much cake leftover!

Disney Merrytime Cruise Room Decor Packages

How cute is this Merrytime Cruise Christmas Decor package? For some reason it’s not showing up online through Onboard Gifts, but many guests have said you can order it by calling Disney Cruise Line directly. 

You’ll receive the room banners, blanket, pillow, and Goofy scarf all for around $100. 

All aboard for holiday fun!

There are so many magical ways to surprise and delight guests on Disney Cruise Line. You could also make a reservation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or buy your teens Disney Cruise Line wifi 😉  Or how about running the Castaway Cay 5k together?

Onboard Gifts - Very Merrytime Christmas holiday 2022

The Christmas holiday themed gifts are not yet showing available for purchase. If when they become available anyone could pick back up on this thread so we get alerted would be great!  

It's not less monkey, it's Moe Monkey!

They are not showing available in the Onboard Gifts website but the VMT holiday room decorations are currently available over the phone.

I felt teased this morning checking and seeing that the number of "available" items on my cruise increased from 82 to 85. No dice.

Spoke to someone today regarding Christmas decorations at DCL on board gifts. Told me that there are 2 Christmas trees ( approx 36- 40 inches tall) to choose from. Item # 2041 which is Mickey Mouse tree and Item # 2041 DCL which is Christmas nautical theme. Bothe have ornaments of the fab 5. Cost for each tree is approx $ 165.00.. I asked for a picture and they said they could not send to me. We are going on Wish in late December, so i am hoping that someone else buys and can post a picture. Not sure how I will get it home as the person told me that it does NOT come in a box!! THX

There’s a New Way to Reserve Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts and Décor Before You Set Sail

Disney Cruise Line recently launched a new website where you (or your family and friends) can purchase specialty onboard gifts and décor to be delivered to your stateroom during your cruise. 

The new website makes it easier than ever to celebrate special occasions onboard, like birthdays and anniversaries. Some of the onboard gifts and amenities you can purchase include:

• Mickey and Minnie cupcakes
• Celebration cakes
• Holiday treats 
• Beer, wine and champagne packages
• Flower arrangements
• Romance packages with sparkling wine, chocolates, a rose and robes 
• Stateroom décor for holidays, birthdays and anniversaries and more

Before you set sail, simply log on to the site with your reservation number to browse the gift offerings and place an online order. Family and friends who would like to surprise someone going on a Disney cruise may also place an order by visiting the site and entering the guest’s reservation number and last name. Just make sure you place cake orders no later than seven days prior to sail date and all other orders no later than three days prior to sail date.

Disney Cruise Line onboard gifts are the perfect way to make your voyage more memorable or bid loved ones a “bon voyage!”

For the Christmas Holiday one, I was told by DCL staff that is was going to be available the end of August. I am also hearing the first week of September.

When will this be available to those who’ve booked in the uk?

When will Halloween room packages be available?

Can you tell us when the holiday options will be available for the Halloween and Christmas sailings? Would love to order but they aren’t showing up.

We absolutely love Disney floral and gifts! The make beautiful memories come true!!

Christmas Decor is Up Aboard the Disney Wish and…WOW!

If you were following along with MickeyBlog yesterday, you may have seen our images of the Disney Wish getting set up for the ship’s first Very Merrytime Cruise.  Yesterday, when our MickeyBloggers first arrived on board  the Christmas trimmings were still being put up.  This morning, the main atrium is fully decorated and all we can say is WOW! 

The main area of the ship is a vision of glittery gold. 

Stunning garlands adorn the two levels of stunning balconies. 

Even the leaves of the main tree are gold with lots of glittery lights. 

The décor was designed to coordinate with the Cinderella statue that takes center stage in the lobby. 

How stunningly beautiful! This is definitely a ship fit for Disney royalty! 

The towering tree reaches all three levels of the central hall. 

We love the way the décor both highlights and is accentuated by the ship’s stunning chandelier. 

Our MickeyBloggers will be aboard the Disney Wish throughout the weekend. 

Keep following along with us for a closer look at how Disney Cruise Line celebrates the season with their Very Merrytime sailings. 

In addition to stunning décor, Very Merrytime Cruises feature special cuisine, holiday-themed decked parties and even an appearance from Santa!

Decorating the outside of your stateroom with creative magnets has become a tradition unique to Disney Cruise Line. But don’t forget to have fun with the interior of your stateroom. It is a great way to help celebrate a special event or occasion. You can bring your own decorations or order some great options from Disney Cruise Line and have them delivered to your stateroom.

Travelling over Christmas is a great way to spend the holidays. And what better way than with a Disney Cruise . Imagine opening the door to your stateroom and being greeted by colorful and festive decorations hanging from the ceiling and decals on your balcony door. How about a Christmas Tree that sings and dances, or a giant centerpiece on your stateroom table. You can also order a fresh table top Christmas tree that comes with some Disney Cruise Line ornaments. These are all part of the Christmas Stateroom Celebration package.

You can also order Happy Birthday, Bon Voyage or a Disney Themed Celebration. Having a special celebration on board? You can order a celebration package as well to commemorate that special event. The disney wish has just received a magical update.

It’s the spirit of the season, you can feel it in the air… The Disney Parks and Resorts are getting us all in the Christmas mood. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom is under way, the Disney gingerbread displays are all practically complete, the Disney Springs Christmas Tree trail has begun, and we’re just days away from the International Festival of the Holidays arriving in EPCOT theme park .  

And in the last couple of days, Disney Cruise Line have started to decorate the cruise ships for the Holiday season. The decorations have arrived just in time for the first of the Verry Merrytime Cruises.

Very Merrytime Cruises

During the Holiday season, Guests of Disney Cruise Line get to experience holiday wishes coming true at sea. The seasonal celebration features festive entertainment, yuletide activities and holiday decor, in addition to the usual Disney Cruise Line experience.

The first Very Merrytime Cruise of the season is taking place as we write; it is a 3-night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral on the Disney Wish . Unfortunately, the usual itinerary has been altered due to Tropical Storm Nicole. To begin, there was a delayed departure from Port Canaveral, after a delayed arrival into the port due to closure following the tropical storm. The delayed departure resulted in a second change to the itinerary, with the first full day being spent at sea rather than visiting Nassau. The Cruise will still feature a stop at Disney Castaway Cay.

Disney Wish Christmas Decor

The atrium of the Disney Wish is truly stunning. Everything from the stage, to the incredible chandelier, the beautiful ceiling, and the color scheme, emulates grandeur, elegance, and magic. If we’re honest, we didn’t think it could get any more perfect. That is, until now…

As part of the first Very Merrytime Cruise that the Disney Wish is hosting, the atrium of the Disney cruise ship has been transformed. In true Disney fashion, the transformation took place overnight, providing Guests with a wonderful Christmas surprise when they woke up for their day at sea.

The Christmas decorations that adorn the Grand Hall of the Disney Cruise Line ship are golden wonders. Gold garlands, decorated with warm white lights and golden baubles, are draped from the balcony railings. The huge Christmas tree is also gold, and decorated with an assortment of golden baubles. The tree is finished with a beautiful base, and topped with a golden spire. The decorations really do compliment the statue of Cinderella (1950) perfectly.

Festive Entertainment

Not only will Guests be joined by favorite Disney characters dressed in festive attire throughout each Disney Christmas cruise, but they will also be treated to festive entertainment, no doubt including Christmas movies, and be able to take part in activities filled with yuletide fun.

Whilst Guests will get to experience the festive decorations from the minute they board the ship, the first evening will feature the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Once lit, the Christmas tree and garland lights will twinkle throughout the cruise.

Guests will also have chance to join Mrs Claus for story time in the Grand Hall. She will take to the stage, and share Christmas stories with Guests of all ages. This may just be your chance to see your favorite Disney pals help her to tell the story too. Be sure to stick around after story time, for a surprise character dance party. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Chip and Dale will be wearing their Christmas outfits, so be sure to wear yours too.

Gingerbread Displays

The Disney Wish isn’t the only cruise ship that is hosting the Very Merrytime Cruises; they will be taking place across all of the Disney ships throughout November and December. The Disney Fantasy is also currently hosting the Very Merrytime cruise, sailing around the Eastern Caribbean. During this Christmas season, the Disney Magic will be sailing from Galveston, the Disney Dream will be sailing from Miami, and the Disney Wonder from San Diego.

Each of the Disney ships will feature their own Christmas tree and decorations, as well as hosting festive activities and yuletide events. Additionally, Disney Cruise Line will continue its yearly tradition of featuring a gingerbread house in the atrium or each of its ships. Created by the pastry teams onboard, each gingerbread display will be uniquely different, with the Disney Wish featuring an 8-foot-tall, and eight layer masterpiece. Not only are the gingerbread displays to be enjoyed by Guests, but they will also be judged as part of a competition to see which member of the fleet has the best gingerbread house.  

There is still plenty of available left on the Verry Merrytime Cruises, so if you haven’t yet booked onto one, and don’t want to miss out on the Christmas fun at sea, then check out the Disney Cruise Line website to see dates and availability. Very Merrytime Cruises run though to the end of December. Guests can sail on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, however availability on these dates is limited. Be sure to make a booking quickly if you plan on sailing on these dates.

Whether you’re booked onto a Very Merrytime Cruise or have a Walt Disney World   or Disneyland California vacation planned for the festive season, make sure to plan ahead. You don’t want to miss out on all of the festive fun that is in and around the Disney Parks, Resorts and cruise ships.

As of today it is still not listed on the website. I cruise in a couple weeks so I will have to call.

Disney Cruise Line consultant told me today that they require you to call for this special package. 🙂 I was able to order one today!

That is a steep price for a little decoration

I agree which is why I bought mine on Hallmark. It is the same quality or better than all the ones I have from Disney and is Haunted Mansion Glow in the Dark, only 39 bucks. I was so impressed with the quality I ordered them for my kids too. 3 for the price of one of the ones on Disney. I have always ordered on Disney and normally love the quality however the ones I purchased on the Maiden Voyage, the Inaugural one and the Wish one were not of the same quality at all. Very thin..

What the ?….. I’ve been on 10 Disney cruises. I know what these cruises cost and what all the incidentals cost. I believe that I’ve traveled everything from Concierge to category10A on cruises with lengths of 4 to 12 days. Why would you spend your time and valuable suitcase space to save $60.00? There are better ways to save your money. Limit alcohol, select less expensive shore excursions, maybe limit internet access and be present on your vacation! Doing just one of these would save you even more!

What the?… right back at ya. I guess because I have cruised 8-10 times a year since 2015 and own all the blankets and when compressed they take no space at all. Every cruise I have been on I take one of them. Also I don’t feel the need to limit anything internet, alcohol or shore excursions. I really would like to know why you would assume having internet means not being present? I am not looking to save money. I am just looking not to be taken advantage of with inferior goods. I was stating what I do and what my feelings are not looking for tips from you. Oh and by the way we always cruise concierge and many times do a back to back eastern, western and I have my packing down to a science. I also drive to the port so I don’t need to save space. Maybe think about how your comment sounds before pressing send.

Sorry for any offense. Not all of us have the ability to drive and must fly. I wasn’t suggesting anyone scrimp on what is important on their vacation. I was just pointing out that those of us who don’t have the same opportunities as you could make 1 small change and still have the ability to have their room decorated. Vacations are made to be special.

Review: Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort

We are headed back to Territory Lounge ! FINALLY!

The lounge, located in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort, is pretty much the definition of awesome when it comes to Disney resort bars and lounges.

We’ve talked about the   pub grub here in the past, and it’s no secret that every time I stay at WL I find myself down here at least a few times. So during a recent stay I was excited to dig in and share the latest updates with you.

So kick back for a relaxing visit. Let’s begin by taking a look around.

You’ll find the Territory Lounge tucked off to the left side, way past Whispering Canyon Cafe , as you enter the lobby of Wilderness Lodge. It’s fully separated from that animated restaurant , so don’t let its close proximity put you off. It’s fairly quiet in here.

There’s sort of a nostalgic hunter’s lodge feel about the Lounge, matching the feel of the whole resort. Wood paneling, paintings of wildlife, and antiqued walls give that sense that you’re in a bit of a man cave.

Intimate tables for two along the wall offer that “didn’t-get-here-early-enough-to-get-the-easy-chairs” seating. 😉

I love the shadowboxes that hang just above these tables. They’re full of interesting expedition objects, and the faint glow provides nice light.

But, of course, I always seek out the comfy seating in a Disney lounge, and Territory doesn’t disappoint. Curling up in these easy chairs with a nightcap seems like the perfect way to end a Disney Day.

Be sure to check out these guys, too! The carved bears beautifully convey the Arts and Crafts spirit epitomized in the Wilderness Lodge Decor.

All in all, the space is on the small side, but that only lends to its feeling of comfort.

As you know, on my Disney trips I just pretty much eat all day, so I was really just looking to have a drink and maybe a snack or two.

You’ll find the trendy  Moscow Mule on the newest  Standard Disney Bar Menu , and I’m sure it’s been a hot seller.

On this visit, I went for the Blue Mule .

The plain version is a bracing combination of Russian Standard Vodka, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, and Ginger Beer . The Blue Mule adds Blueberry Flavor to the mix. I enjoyed it, though the ginger beer taste was pretty strong. Don’t choose this one if you’re not a Ginger fan!

Although I wasn’t starving, I was still having a bit of trouble coming to a decision about what to order food-wise. And that’s where my awesome server stepped in! Really, the staff here are some of the best in the business . They’ve all worked here for years, and they make every visit to Territory extra special.

When I couldn’t decide right away what to order, my server brought me a small tasting portion of the “PNW” Nachos to try!

When I visited they featured Pulled Pork , along with Apple-Cranberry Salsa, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and Sour Cream . While they were delicious, I ultimately decided to go with a couple of other choices. (Incidentally, the current menu swaps out Buffalo Chili for the Pulled Pork.)

There was something not 100% awesome about these nachos. I think I wanted more cheese, and the tanginess of the cranberries was a little much.

Now, if you’ve read my previous Territory Lounge review , then you know all about their incredible Fondue . I couldn’t help but order it again.

Previously, the ingredient list featured Beer , but now it’s offered as an Oregon Pinot Grigio Fondue . You may find them interchanged, depending on the seasonal whims of chefs. No matter. They are equally delicious and I highly recommend both!

The Fondue is served in a small cast iron pot with lots of dippers accompanying it. These are usually sturdy Bread Cubes as well as Seasonal Fruits . My assortment included Sourdough, Fresh Apple Chunks, and Dried Fruits .

All of the items were great complements to the rich, tangy cheese .

You cannot set foot into Territory Lounge and not try this. Seriously.

But I’m not finished strongly recommending items yet. Because while I had enjoyed the Fondue before, the next item was new to me.

Truffle Fries with Roasted Garlic Aioli have joined the line up since I last snacked here. And I had to see how they compared with other similar offerings .

And the answer to that question is……….EPICALLY. Yup, these are some of  the best Truffle Fries that I’ve had at Disney. But you guys know me — it’s all about the sauce. The Roasted Garlic Aioli is outrageous.

In fact, since we’re all friends here, I’ll tell you a dirty little secret. Later in my trip, I asked the cast members at Territory to box up an order of these for me — with two sides of sauce — and I took them up to my room and ate them all alone. Yes. Yes I did. Feel free to refer me to your favorite therapist.

And guess what? Those truffle-scented fries also went beautifully with the fondue. (Another recommendation from my awesome server.)

With that, I called it a night, having added another incredible Territory Lounge visit to the long list.

It’s always fantastic to visit one of my favorite spots with the intention of making sure it’s still fabulous — and find that it’s just as good as it’s ever been . I know that if you’re staying at, say, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you probably aren’t going to make a special trip to Wilderness Lodge just to have a nightcap at Territory. But if you did, it would be worth it.

Truly, if you are looking for a special place to meet with friends and enjoy some delicious dishes, give Territory Lounge a try. The staff, the ambiance, and the food and drink offering combine to make this spot something very special.

The nachos looked really good, so did every thing else. One thing I find fun is the cast iron pot for the cheese.

Based on this site’s reviews, we ate her in November and it was delicious! I also had the Moscow Mule and we really enjoyed the nachos and fondue. The atmosphere is great as well.

Thank you, thank you! Once again a fun review, as usual. We have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge a couple times and relaxed in the Territory Lounge. We had our first Sam Adams Oktoberfest here many years ago, and now it’s one of our favorite beers. It’s so nice seeing a lot of our favorite places on your site in between our Disney visits. We go through withdrawals at least once a month.

I have to say, reading this review made me a little homesick. Last summer was the first time we stayed at WL, and I believe that we ended almost every day in the Territory Lounge. The food, service, and drinks were always lovely. There are even some really nice, unique wines by the glass. I actually loved the pork nachos, but I loved everything we had there! It is also great that there are several treats from Artist Point available. Can’t wait to get back to Territory Lounge.

We ate twice at Territory Lounge in January…LOVED IT! The mushroom soup was to die for and the cobbler was delicious! And the service was outstanding…my husband liked it so much that he volunteered to go do laundry while on vacation so he could stop by the lounge and have a bloody Mary 😉

Rooms are spacious , ask for a river view that looks across to the Raddison Hotel. The Raddison is one of Stalins "Wedding Cake " buildings that is beautifully lit up at night. My room was on the 6th floor. The location of the hotel is excellent easy to get to the metro and the Kremlin.

Stayed for the second time in this hotel on a business trip. The location is good , not at the center , but good to reach offices that lie on the western periphery of the city. The view on the river is marvelous , don't know if this is the case from all rooms. This time I got an upgrade to the tower building where the club rooms lie, this was a fantastic experience. As usual the breakfast was served at a separate location, in the club lounge , on the 20th floor, which had another nice view and the food variety was broad. The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out was also very efficient, the receptionist at the check out showed utmost flexibility to put my company address and tax number on the bill without any problems.... as this is the usual case you encounter. Looking forward staying there again.

I would undoubtedly recommend the hotel for those on business trips. The location is alright for me, however, some people I talked to during breakfast (excellent one, by the way) were complaining on that. Well, it all depends. Staff is nice and friendly. What I should definitely highlight is the bed in my room - it was awesome! I had a wonderful sleep, indeed. Unfortunately, I didn’t check out either pool or gym which I was eager to attend but had no time for that, but I am sure I will soon. Want to get back in October.
