When the mindscape is broken, all universes begin colliding together. Everyone of Disney XD characters from each of their respective universes must get back to their proper place before every universe is destroyed for good.

Gameplay [ ]

The game is a 2D platformer/puzzle game, with gameplay similar to other platformers like Super Mario World . Players control three Disney XD characters at a time, each assigned a different role in the party. Basic controls include moving with the keyboard arrows (Up, Down, Left, and Right) or by clicking and dragging the character that the player is currently in control of, jumping with the "Jump" screen icon, and performing actions in certain circumstances when the "Action" icon appears.

Each character in the player's party is assigned a specific role and specialty: "Power"-type characters (designated by a yellow fist icon) can break walls and push boulders, but they have the shortest jump. "Shoot"-type characters (designated by a blue bow-and-arrow icon) can shoot balloons to drop floating crates and cut ropes to make bridges, and they can jump slightly higher than Power-type characters. "Hook"-type characters (designated by a green grappling hook icon) can use a grappling hook to pull themselves up to higher paths, and they have the highest jump among the three character types.

The objective of each level is to guide each character in the party through a puzzle environment toward color-coded portals; characters can only activate switches and go through portals that match their icon color (Power = yellow, Shoot = blue, Hook = green). If a character falls into a bottomless pit, gets hit by an enemy, or gets crushed by a boulder or platform, they are sent back to their original starting point in the level. Characters can also be reset to their original starting point by pressing and holding their avatar for a few seconds.

Level completions are rated on a 1- to 5-star scoring system. Based on how quickly the player clears a level, they can earn up to three stars. A fourth star is earned by collecting a "Disney XD" icon somewhere in the level, and a fifth star is earned by completing level-specific tasks like finishing the level without dying, defeating all enemies in the level, or beating one's own best completion time.

Hero Trip , also known as Disney XD Hero Trip , is a platformer puzzle game starring characters from multiple Disney XD animated series, including Star vs. the Forces of Evil .

Characters from across the Disney XD multiverse find themselves in a white void, and Star and Marco are surrounded by unfamiliar faces, including a pair of twins , a furry space nomad , a ninja high-schooler , and a talking triangle . According to this "triangle man", the multiverse is collapsing, and it's up to them to repair it before they all become lost in time and space forever. Along the way, they'll encounter other bizarre characters and creatures...

T he summer season is one of the very best for traveling across the country or taking an epic West Coast road trip . But after a few hours of blasting your passenger's favorite playlist, cruising with the windows down or indulging in some homemade road trip snacks , boredom will inevitably kick in.

Here's what to do when you can't take another hour in the car!

20 Questions

Long road trips are a perfect time to find out how well you actually know your road trip passengers. During this game of 20 Questions, one of the players must choose a fellow passenger (or a celebrity!) without revealing their identity. The other players can only ask up to 20 questions to figure out who the secret person is. The questions can range from easy to obscure, like what their favorite frozen summer treat is.

In this road trip game that's catered toward more creative personalities, passengers can kill time by making up their very own story. One person starts off by saying a word that begins a story, and the rest of the group must take turns tacking on just one more word to complete the sentences. It's hilarious to see how the story ends!

Name the Song

Chances are, music buffs will have their favorite old-school songs blasting during road trips. To play Name the Song, one passenger has to simply say a song lyric aloud while the others have to try and guess what song it is. In another version of the game, one passenger can play just a snippet of a song—and the rest of the group is left to figure out what song it is, and which artist sings it.

Going on a Picnic

If you have a bad memory, you probably won't do so well during a round of Going on a Picnic. The first person must begin the game by saying the phrase, "I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing..." Then, they end the sentence by stating what delicious food item they'll be packing in their metaphorical picnic basket . The following players must re-state the entire phrase, remembering which item the person before them is bringing and adding something else to go along with it. Whoever gets it wrong must sit out the next round.

The License Plate Game

The License Plate Game is a true road trip classic—and it's really great for those who are traveling across the country. All players must write down every license plate they see from a different state on a piece of paper, and the person that has the most at the end of the car ride wins. Crank the game up a notch by awarding extra points to the players who can name the capital city of that state, or the most iconic food that a state is known for . If the driver wants to join in, create a collective list.

Take a trip down memory lane with this nostalgic road trip game. Alternating throughout the game, one player must give a clue—usually a simple physical description, like the color of an item—of something that they see out the car window while driving. The other players have to guess what it is that they're talking about, whether it's a popular fast food sign or a tree you're passing.

Would You Rather?

This is one of the best road trip games for adults. Friends, couples and siblings alike will probably end up laughing (or cringing) at some point during a game of Would You Rather. Players must break off into pairs, then take turns asking each other which of two scenarios they would prefer to pursue. You can opt for something like two dramatic life-or-death situations, or ask your fellow passenger to choose between two equally strange foods.

Road Trip Trivia

Each state that you drive through has some pretty deep history. Designate a person as the "host" during a round of Road Trip Trivia, and have them ask the passengers in the car specific questions that pertain to the state or city you're all traveling through.

Before you embark on a road trip, DIY your very own bingo boards. Fill each grid with makes and models of vehicles you'll most likely pass during your trip. At the beginning of the ride, hand out the bingo boards—along with a pen or pencil. Whoever gets bingo first, wins!

Guess the Time

When you've eaten all of the road trip snacks you packed and have slept until there's no way it's possible for you to be tired, take turns guessing the time you'll arrive at your final destination. Whoever guessed the right time (or the closest to it), is the winner.

The Movie Game

The first player begins this game by naming an actor, and the next player has to think of a movie the actor has been in— bonus points if the movie is about food ! The next player must think of another actor who has been in that same movie, and the subsequent player has to state a new movie that actor has been in. Keep playing until someone can't think of an actor or movie, then start again.

The Alphabet Game

In this simple but fun game, car passengers have to take turns finding a billboard or sign that has each letter of the alphabet. Just wait until you get to X, Y and Z!

The Hot Seat

Have you ever wanted to grill one of your fellow passengers but never got the opportunity to do so? In the game of The Hot Seat, each passenger has to take a turn being asked five questions that they normally would never want to answer out loud.

Never Have I Ever

Never Have I Ever is played exactly as it sounds. The passengers who choose to play a round of this game have to hold up five fingers. One person starts by saying a phrase that they've never done, and the rest of the players must either keep their fingers up, or put one finger down if they have done it. The first person to make a fist is out.

The Rhyming Game

To play The Rhyming Game, one player has to choose a word, and the other players must take turns stating a word that rhymes with it. You can also make this even more challenging by using categories, like Italian food terms . If someone can't think of a rhyming word or repeats a word, they're out.

The Quiet Game

Even though it might sound like the easiest, The Quiet Game will challenge the most chatty passengers in the car—whether they're children or adults. The driver must decide a certain time frame, and the rest of the passengers have to remain silent. Whoever speaks or laughs first loses!

It is a perfect recreation of that silly open-world GTA -like collecton-a-thon experience, just without Homer and Springfield. Anyway, for everyone still reading, here’s the review.

Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip tells the classic story of a strange teenager who skips out on summer school while his family is away on vacation to focus on his dream of driving a car into space. That’s the basic premise of Turbo Trip. You are Tiny Terry and after lying to get a job with a taxi company, you get a car. It’s now your job to go around collecting junk and cash to help you upgrade your taxi cab and make it go faster and faster. If you upgrade it all the way, you can drive it up a giant building and into space. Probably. That’s the plan, at least. And that’s your goal in Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip.  

However, to get all the junk and cash needed to max out your taxi and reach outer space, you’ll need to explore a delightfully colorful and zany open-world filled with characters to help and collectibles to find. Right away, Turbo Trip ’s cartoon visuals impressed me. Even on a Steam Deck, the game looks marvelous, like a trippy, vivid Saturday morning cartoon directed by Weird Al.

Each character I met in this odd world was a misshapen lump of bright color and limbs. Even better, they all made me laugh, often because they didn’t know how to react to Tiny Terry. His bizarre antics and dedication to being the weirdest one in the room lead to some of the best awkward pauses I’ve ever experienced in a video game.

I also appreciated that, for as weird and wild as Turbo Trip gets, it never feels like it’s doing things just to be random. It still feels like a (somewhat) real world with genuine people living in it. Even Terry has his moments of genuine growth and care. This all helps the game avoid the trap of being a collection of internet memes and bad jokes haphazardly stitched together, something other comedy games can often feel like. There’s depth here.

But great writing, colorful visuals, silly antics, and a nice lead character aren’t enough to make a great game. You also need to have fun playing it, and Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip excels at that, too.

It feels lazy, but the best way to describe this game is: Simpsons: Hit And Run , but without the copyrighted characters. Like Hit and Run , in Turbo Trip you explore a large but not massive open world filled with random junk (in this case, literal junk) to collect. Sometimes the junk is just sitting around. Other times it’s hidden in out-of-the-way locations. Like Hit And Run , you do light platforming to reach these places while also completing silly quests for townsfolk which often involve driving and jumping around the city. Also like Hit And Run , you can hop into any NPC’s car and ride about town as a passenger.

Turbo Trip actually expands on Hit And Run by adding more upgrades you can unlock as you play, like a glider and different weapons. (Oh, don’t worry, there’s no combat in this game. You just use weapons to break open boxes or annoy random NPCs.) I also greatly prefer running and driving in Turbo Trip as platforming genuinely feels nice and is super responsive compared to the stiffer controls in Hit And Run and even some other big open-world games out there. (Looking at you Assassin’s Creed …)

Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip will likely take you less than four hours to complete, though if you try to do and collect everything it might take closer to six. Either way, you’re in for an awesome and funny open-world comedy game that actually made me laugh a lot and which is a dream to play. It might not be Hit And Run 2 , but it’s a damn fine game on its own.

Barkov back on ice for Panthers, who lead 2-0 in Cup final thanks to scoring from unsung heroes

Paul Maurice was in a much better mood Wednesday.

The Florida Panthers coach admitted the previous day that he was "grumpy" after Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final, despite a dominant victory over the Edmonton Oilers that gave his team a 2-0 series lead.

That was mostly because of the unknown status of Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov, who was knocked out of the game midway through the third period after Edmonton forward Leon Draisaitl launched toward him and hit him in the head.

Barkov, who is tied with Matthew Tkachuk with a team-leading 19 points in the postseason, practised with the team Wednesday morning ahead of the Florida's trip to Edmonton for Game 3.

"It's the drive of my mood, right?" Maurice said.

"You go through that fear  — nobody wants to lose their captain. And you don't know if you have or not for a block of time, and then you find out there's a good chance you're not going to [lose him], and you're in a much better mood."

Maurice said the team will make a final decision about Barkov's Game 3 status on Thursday, but the star "felt better" Wednesday.

Barkov, who won the Selke Trophy this year as the league's top defensive forward, is a big reason for Florida's lockdown defence, winning 57.3 per cent of his faceoffs in the regular season and 53.4 per cent in the postseason.

"He's a huge part of our team and a huge piece of our game," said veteran Kyle Okposo, who added that it was great to have Barkov back on the ice.

Barkov had a pair of assists in the final opener but hasn't scored a goal yet in the series. Neither has Tkachuk, Florida's top-scoring forward, who has five goals and 14 assists in the playoffs.

Tkachuk being without a point hasn't been a problem for the Panthers, who control the series thanks to the scoring of others.

Florida's depth has emerged as one of its biggest assets, with the emergence of players like centre Evan Rodrigues, who leads the series with three goals; young centre Anton Lundell, who is emerging as a formidable two-way player; and Niko Mikkola, who had the tying goal in Game 2.

"Nobody gets here on their stars," Maurice said. "They drive the bus — we would all agree with that. They're the key pieces. But I don't think any team gets to this point without the 20 guys you're dressing. At some point, they have to be the difference."

Mikkola, the six-foot-five-inch defenceman who signed with the Panthers around the same time Rodrigues did last July, scored his second career playoff goal in Game 2 when he blasted a drop pass from Lundell past goalie Stuart Skinner, just moments after he nearly scored an own goal on the other end.

The 30-year-old Rodrigues, who had played in just 16 post-season games before this season, scored twice in Florida's comeback Game 2 victory, including a go-ahead goal early in the third that clinched the victory.

Rodrigues has 11 points (six goals, five assists) so far in the playoffs. He's played up and down the Panthers' lineup all year long and moved up to the top line with Barkov and Sam Reinhart in Game 2, helping spark a three-goal onslaught in the third period.

He has more points than Edmonton's Connor McDavid — the leading scorer in the post-season with 32 points — and the Oilers' other two stars, Draisaitl and Zach Hyman, combined.

"It's nice to contribute to a win," Rodrigues said, "and that's what we're here to do. It could be any player on any given day."

Okposo said he believes those contributions are a product of the way the Panthers play — with a stifling lockdown defence that sets them up offensively.

"It doesn't really matter which line is getting those opportunities," he said.

"It's just kind of the nature of our game and what we do. So when you see a guy like Evan, scoring a couple goals last game, it's just phenomenal for everybody. Everybody's extremely happy for anybody else that scores. Obviously this time of year, that's how it's going to be."

Maurice added that it has been needed in a series like this one, where both teams' top two lines are so good that they almost "cancel each other out."

"Over all the minutes you play, your elite players have to be great all the time," he said.

"But there's going to be a block of time for each player on your roster, and he will be the difference in that block of time for whether you win or lose. And in a couple games in these playoffs, it's been Evan's time, and he's made the most of it."
