The upcoming tour is just the latest milestone in an already monumental career for Combs, whose acclaimed new album, Growin’ Up , debuted at #1 on Billboard ’s Top Country Albums chart this past June. Out now via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville (stream/purchase here ), Growin’ Up was produced by Combs, Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton and is his third studio album following 2019’s 3x Platinum What You See is What You Get and his 4x Platinum debut, This One’s For You . The record also features his current single, “ The Kind of Love We Make ,” which debuted at #17 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart—the highest chart debut since January 2020—and is currently top 5 and rising. The single adds to a historic run at country radio for Combs, who recently achieved his record-breaking, thirteenth-consecutive #1 as his single, “Doin’ This,” reached the top of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.
Critical acclaim for Growin’ Up :
“one of country music’s biggest stars…He’s accomplished this not with virtuosic musical innovation, genre-crossing celebrity collaborations or by hosting a television singing competition, but by cranking out one irrepressibly catchy, widely relatable meat-and-potatoes country anthem after another.” — The New York Times
“an authentic creative force, capitalizing on his man-of-the-people status to release music that resonates with wide swaths of listeners…as an artist, he’s making his biggest strides yet”— Grammy.com
“He’s emerged as the field’s much-loved everyman with hits that country aficionados could not possibly resist”— The Wall Street Journal
“his detail-rich songs make Growin’ Up a big-time country album with a tip-jar-worthy intimacy” — Rolling Stone
“a superstar”— Billboard
“Take a voice that projects major-league virility but also vulnerability, sprinkle in some core-songwriting-team prowess with lyrical and musical hooks, and then most of all, don’t step on the agreeable, humble personality of somebody who—in contrast to a lot of the bro-country that’s been out there—seems like someone you wouldn’t mind having as an actual brother.”— Variety
“one of music’s mightiest voices and a hitmaking force arguably unlike any seen out of Nashville this century”— USA Today
“an uncharacteristically humble, down-to-earth, hardworking, fiercely loyal teddy bear of a country star…a true country-music behemoth”— Vulture
“Luke Combs isn’t just a country star…he made an excellent case for being a top-tier pop star, regardless of genre.”— The Tennessean
“Combs struts his usual guitar-heavy songs with a certain nuance”— American Songwriter
A member of the Grand Ole Opry and a 6x CMA, 3x ACM, 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a record-setting and historic series of years. His previous release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get , debuted at #1 on the all-genre B illboard 200 chart as well as Billboard ’s Top Country Albums chart. With the record Combs reached #1 on Rolling Stone ’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500. He also made history as the first artist ever to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at #1 on Billboard ’s Top Country Albums chart—breaking Taylor Swift’s previously held record at 24 weeks.

Though born and bred in North Carolina, Luke Combs is a down-home country singer who made his first big debut in New York City. Combs has been serious about music his entire life, making his voice known in vocal groups since he was a little kid.
Blessed with raw talent, his powerful sound landed him a solo performance in the fabled Carnegie Hall while he was still in high school.
Of course, city slicking wasn’t in Luke’s plans. He dropped out of college in his senior year and moved to Nashville, the epicenter of his beloved country genre, where he concentrated on improving his guitar-playing and songwriting skills. After honing his stage presence in countless live performances, he self-released key songs on early EPs including the single “Hurricane.”
Garnering audience buzz, Combs caught the attention of River House/Columbia Nashville, his first big recording contract. Reworking “Hurricane” for radio gave Combs his first hit, selling 15,000 copies and hitting #46 on the Billboard Country chart. This led to singing with Sony Music Nashville, and one more re-release of “Hurricane.” His debut album release, 2017s This One’s For You, solidified Combs’ status by reaching number one on the chart.
Comb’s next big hit was an evolution from “Hurricane’s” slow-burn buildup to the moving ballad “Beautiful Crazy” in 2018. The song charted at number one for almost two months and played a huge role in his becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry. It also helped him hit a huge milestone in becoming the first artist to hit Billboard's top country charts at the same time: Top Country Albums, Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay, Country Streaming Songs, and Country Digital Song Sales.
Luke then hit the road hard and built up a fanbase on the back of his energetic, dominating performances, revealing his skill in capturing his audiences in ways few artists do. From 2017 to the present, Combs has relentlessly toured, both as headliner and in support of other artists like Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson. His exclusive live performances on platforms like Apple Music have further cemented his reputation as a solid live act.
In the midst of all that stage time, Luke Combs continues to create new music. In 2019, he dropped what was destined to be another number one country album, What You See Is What You Get. Proving once again his ability to please country music fans, Combs charted more hits like “Even Though I’m Leaving,” “Does to Me,” and the crowd-pleasing “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”
The unstoppable Combs brought it again in 2022. His Growin’ Up LP once again made number one on the country charts with hits like “Doin’ This” and “The Kind of Love We Make.” Combs balances a bold new confidence with reflective humility, while his audiences continue to feel close to a singer who, despite being more popular than ever, yet never forgets where he came from.
Live reviews
Luke Combs & his band put on an awesome show last night. Although the host, band and audience were in a generally somber mood due to the Las Vegas incident, once the “taping” portion of the show was complete, Luke says to us “Alright, this is MY show now”, and they rocked! Was able to see him preparing to walk onto the stage and honestly, he looked a little nervous, but it was really cute to see he was human. When he was center stage, he performed like a well-seasoned professional.
His voice live...my gosh...no words.
After the show, met one of his guitarist’s and he actually reached out to shake my hand and introduce himself!
As Los Angeles doesn’t really seem to be a high priority for up and coming country acts, I feel VERY fortunate to have seen these guys so early in their career.

The show was awesome, there were several good guys! I love Luke and Brantley, they are a great combination!I would love to see Luke again soon in Alabama, I missed him in Birmingham. The interaction with the crowd was great. When I bought my tickets it was to see Luke Combs, and he didn't disappoint.
Absolutely fantastic performance...Ashley Mcbryde was superb as the opener (I predict we see her on the C2C main stage before very long!)and Luke totally smashed it. Im just sorry I didn't get tickets to both nights as would have happily gone straight back tonight...
This was the best country concert I have ever been to. Luke definitely did not disappoint. He put on a great show. He's amazing. Wish I had better seats. Ingotnmy seats last minute, so I was just honored to be there. I'll be up front the next time I see him
Great show. High energy. Although it did feel very rushed. Very nice guy though. He tossed a few picks into the crowd but then handed me a pick directly. Very cool. It's awesome when they notice ur into the show
He was amazing as always. First time seeing Ashley, only knew a few songs. I left the concert a bigger fan for her. Did not get to see Drew perform due to the traffic. To & from the arena it was crazy insane..
Luke combs was one of the best concert I have ever went to! Venue was great! Meet and greet was awesome! His performance was amazing! Thank you Luke for coming to Shreveport! Come back again! Love meeting you!
Show was absolutely amazing. Ashley kicked it off with an amazing set just her and the guitar and an almighty voice. Luke and his band then rocked the whole arena with a blistering set. Awesome night
This gig was simply OUTSTANDING.
Ashley McBryde and Luke Combs might just be the best show combo I've ever seen.
From beginning to end this was a truly memorable experience.
AMAZING! I drove 2 hours to see him and would definitely do it again. I had a great time and he put on an amazing show! Hopefully he’ll return to SC again soon!

Luke Combs says appearing in video for Toby Keith's last recording session is 'hard to put into words'
The last known studio recording of Toby Keith's three-decade-long mainstream career has been released as a music video.
Five months after the release of HARDY's latest installment of his HIXTAPE project, "DIFFTAPE" — a 17-song collaboration honoring the life and works of Okalhoma-born country legend Joe Diffie, in conjunction with the Diffie estate — an incredible moment related to the project is seeing the light of day.
A video of another Oklahoman — late country giant Toby Keith — has been released. In it, Keith pairs with Grammy-winning country superstar Luke Combs for an in-studio recording session of the "DIFFTAPE" version of Diffie's 1992 hit "Ships That Don't Come In."
Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.
The moment doubles as Keith's last recording session before passing in Feb. 2024. Released in March 2024, the song also features previously unheard vocals from Diffie captured in 2006.
"To be on a song with Toby was a no-brainer when it got presented to me. That was something I had always hoped to do but never knew if it would happen or not," Combs offers via a press statement. "It being one of Joe's songs, especially this one, made it even better; he was there the night I got inducted into the Opry and actually gave me my Opry member award. I grew up listening to both of those guys' music, so to be a part of this version of the song and it now be Toby's last recording is kind of hard to put into words. Country music misses them greatly, but I hope we're doing justice to continue what they started."
The video of Combs and Keith's collaboration is released following NBC's premiere of Toby Keith: American Icon , a two-hour concert special honoring the life and music of the forthcoming inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The tribute included performances and special appearances by HARDY and fellow HIXTAPE collaborators Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson, and Trace Adkins.
Diffie, a Tulsa, Oklahoma, native had over a dozen No. 1 and top-10 country hits between 1990-2001, including the back-to-back 1994 smashes "Third Rock from the Sun" and "Pickup Man." Diffie died in 2020 due to complications related to COVID-19.
Joey Moi produced the 17-track "DIFFTAPE" album, which features Diffie's vocals paired with artists including Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, Combs, Keith, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson.
"My dad was good at those cheeky and quirky mid-tempo songs with funny little sayings, but when he would sing a ballad, he could portray emotions that could melt your heart," Joe's son, Parker Diffie, told The Tennessean.
"As someone who had the profound privilege of performing alongside my father, it fills my heart with immense joy to witness his enduring legacy continued with the same passion and fervor that he embodied," Parker Diffie added via a press statement. "This album is an opportunity to not only celebrate the past but also to embrace the future with reverence and enthusiasm."

LUKE COMBS’ RECORD-BREAKING 2024 STADIUM TOUR SELLS OVER ONE MILLION TICKETS IN OPENING WEEKEND
Josh Abbott Band on Indie Success: ‘My Best Day Would Be the Worst Day Ever for Luke Combs’
By Josh Crutchmer
Josh Crutchmer
Earlier this summer, when Josh Abbott learned he achieved a third gold single, his first thought was about the big-picture symbolism.
“To have it happen in the second decade of my career, makes me feel validated,” Abbott says. “It says that we are a band that will last and be around a long time. It says that I can write successful music, and that I don’t need to rely on national radio to get it to gold.”
The Josh Abbott band announced on Thursday that “Settle Me Down,” off the group’s 2020 album of the same name, received the certification from RIAA. The song joins Abbott’s 2010 recordings “She’s Like Texas” and “Oh, Tonight” — the latter recorded as a duet with Kacey Musgraves — in hitting the milestone of 500,000 sales.
“‘Settle Me Down’ is a song that I wrote about my wife,” Abbott tells Rolling Stone , “with a couple of buddies of mine who happen to be from Texas. To get to record that song at a later stage is special, and it went gold faster. Those first two took more than 10 years. ‘Settle Me Down’ came out at the end of 2020, and it essentially qualified for gold at the end of 2023.”
Abbott is acknowledging the milestone by releasing “Settle Me Down” as part his “Hangar Sessions” project — a YouTube-based collection of recent songs, recorded full-band, at an airplane hangar in Austin.

Released in January, Somewhere Down the Road is Abbott’s seventh studio album. He has spent the year on a headlining tour named for the album (with three new members added to his eight-piece outfit in the past two years). He also made his debut at Stagecoach in April and continues to play with the Panhandlers — a Texas supergroup featuring Abbott, William Clark Green, John Baumann, and Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry.
Texas Supergroup the Panhandlers Offer Wide Open Spaces for a Suffocating Moment
Eli young band, pat green will play drive-in concerts in texas, red dirt collective the panhandlers sing about west texas desolation in 'no handle'.
In that context, what motivates you now, especially as a songwriter? My family. I find it really challenging to write songs that are sad. I can’t write a breakup song. I’ve already done that in my past. I’ve had a whole album that was about that sort of thing. I’m in a spot now, where it’s hard for me to write those songs, and be balanced as a songwriter. But I’m also not at a stage in my career where I’m writing beer-drinking college songs. I’m writing songs that inspire me about real things. Thankfully, the Panhandlers have been a good outlet for songs like that.
There’s also not a ton of pressure on me to write a lot of songs for myself. We’re seven albums in. The fans know what they like. They want to hear the old shit. I’ve heard Paul McCartney make that joke at a concert. I’ve heard Garth Brooks make that joke. I’ve heard Bruce Springsteen make it. We get it. You want to hear the old shit. But we still want to make new music, and we just have to accept that the new shit might not be smelled as much as the old shit.
‘It Ends With Us’ Crew Members Say Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s Creative Differences Were Not a Secret on Set
Trump threatens to jail mark zuckerberg for life, trump goes full fascist in truth social posting spree, why isn't anyone asking trump about mark robinson.
Is there a takeaway from reaching gold-level sales while staying independent? I think it’s inspiring for younger artists to be able to see that you don’t have to sign a label deal, and you don’t have to put a song out to national radio, or sell a million records, for a song to be credentialed with an award like this.
Josh Crutchmer is a journalist and author whose third book, Red Dirt Unplugged , is set for release on December 13, 2024, via Back Lounge Publishing, and available for pre-order.

How To Get Oasis Tickets Now That Liam And Noel Have Reunited
- Share to Facebook
After 15 years, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are taking their “don’t look back in anger” advice and reuniting the band Oasis. The announcement was made on August 27 and fans went wild, anxiously waiting to purchase the sure-to-be coveted tickets. Oasis Live ‘25 will take place next summer, from July 4 through August 17, for a total of 14 performances in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This will be one event fans certainly won’t want to miss, so here’s everything we know about how to buy Oasis tickets.
Oasis hasn't toured since 2009. Now that Liam and Noel are reuniting, here's how to get tickets to ... [+] Oasis in 2024.
How To Get Billie Eilish Tickets In 2024
How to get morgan wallen tickets in 2024, where to buy tickets to “oasis live '25”.
Oasis links to both Ticketmaster U.K. and Ticketmaster Ireland on the band’s official website , so those sites are the best places to look for tickets. If you’re planning to travel to one of these European concerts from the United States, be prepared for the prices to be listed in either the British pound (£) or the Euro (€). You may need a currency converter to figure out how much tickets will cost you in American dollars.
Exact prices aren’t available yet since tickets haven’t dropped, so it’s unclear how much a ticket for the Oasis tour will cost you. According to the Manchester Evening News , fans can expect to spend at least £100, which converts to approximately $133. Moreover, The Mirror notes some reports suggest the minimum could actually be closer to the £140 mark, or $186.
On the FAQ section on the band's website , Oasis notes, “Ticket resale is permitted at no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees),” so fans hopefully won’t have to pay an exorbitant amount on the secondary market if they couldn’t secure tickets on the primary one. The band warns that tickets not resold through either Ticketmaster or Twickets—but are instead sold on unauthorized resale platforms—may be canceled.
Another caveat clearly intended to minimize scalping and price-gouging: You can buy a maximum of four tickets per household, per show. Keep that in mind as you make concert plans.
Other options to purchase tickets include both Gigs and Tours and SEE Tickets (where you’ll find every concert date except the ones in Ireland), as well as Gigs in Scotland (which lists Edinburgh concerts only).
When Do Oasis Tickets Go On Sale?
General tickets for Oasis’s tour go on sale in Ireland on Saturday, August 31 at 3 a.m. EST and UK tickets go on sale at 4 a.m. EST. The band has this message for fans on the Oasis website : “We strongly advise that those wishing to purchase tickets register in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies.”
The band took to Instagram to announce a presale ticket ballot that will be held on Friday, August 30. You can enter anytime right up until 3 p.m. EST on Wednesday, August 28.
Fans should expect a lot of competition when trying to snag tickets. Music journalist DJ Kevin McManus told ITV News demand for this long-awaited tour will “absolutely dwarf” the insanity fans experienced trying to secure a ticket to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour . “I think everybody is going to try and get a ticket,” McManus predicts.
How Much Are Oasis Tickets?
Prices haven’t been released yet but some reports anticipate tickets starting anywhere between £100-£140, which equates to approximately $133-186. It’s safe to say prices will cost more than they did back in 2009 , before the band split.

Is Oasis Getting Back Together?
Unbelievably, yes! Oasis’ 15-year hiatus is over now that brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have reunited the band. The group is embarking on a 14-show tour in the summer of 2025 in both the U.K. (England, Wales and Scotland, to be precise) and Ireland. Additional locations may be announced in the future (and we’ll update this article as additional tour details are released).
Will Oasis Do A U.S. Tour?
Right now, nothing has been confirmed for a U.S. tour. But according to an official press release , “plans are underway for Oasis Live ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.” So, it’s possible the rock band may tour the United States in 2025, but that is as of yet far from confirmed.
What’s The Best Way To Get Oasis Tickets?
Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster is a great place to look for tickets, and the band links out to that ticketing site on its own website . Of course, it’s probably easiest just to go directly to Ticketmaster U.K. and Ticketmaster Ireland to snag tickets.
You can also purchase tickets for select dates from Gigs and Tours , SEE Tickets and Gigs In Scotland . It’s important to note that fans may only resell tickets they’ve bought on Ticketmaster or Twickets for their original face value—they cannot charge more than they originally paid for them. Refusing to follow this rule could result in tickets being canceled.
