It's amazing how high energy and amazing those guys still are!

Full two hours of an amazing show!

Started with apocalypto video + songs and "ended" with almost hour and a half of the greatest hits.

Truly the BEST BAND IN THE WORLD.

This band is amazing, this venue is amazing, the night was perfect. I can wish for drinks to be cheaper, to not have to drop $40 to feel buzzed, but that's how concerts are... We got some merch before the show, the line kept moving. Nice that it wasn't as big a venue as last time I saw Tenacious D at CalJam. The opening act was ok, I get that their founding member is part of Tenacious D so they want to support him, but it really wasn't everyone's jam. I was surprised Tenacious D played almost the entirety of Apocalypto straight through. Then, of course, their greatest hits afterward. The projection storytelling was awesome.

Tenacious D will be coming to Resorts World Arena in May 2024.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass, the dynamic duo behind Tenacious D, formed the Greatest Band in the World in the late '90s in Los Angeles. Their journey includes a hit HBO variety series in 1999, a Platinum-certified self-titled album in 2001, and a feature film, "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny," in 2006. Their 2012 album, "Rize of the Fenix," earned a Grammy nomination. In 2013, they founded the Festival Supreme, a music and comedy festival in LA featuring top acts. Tenacious D also won a Grammy in 2014 for Best Metal Performance. In 2018, they released "Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto," an animated film with a hand-drawn frame and accompanying soundtrack. A graphic novel completed the Post-Apocalypto universe in 2020.

In 2021-2022, they released cover songs for charity and launched a fiber bars line. They continued their creative streak with "Words + Music | Vol. 29 | Tenacious D’s The Road To Redunktion," an Audible Original featuring archival audio. In 2023, they rocked Las Vegas with sold-out shows, launched "The Spicy Meatball Tour," released a hit song "Video Games" and a viral cover of "Wicked Game." With 1 million Instagram followers, Tenacious D remains the Greatest Band That Ever Played on Planet Earth, selling out shows worldwide.

For some reason, people tend to think that Tenacious D was some side project that Jack Black started once he got his big break in Hollywood. Oh boy, is that wrong. Meeting at a theatre company in 1986, Black and Kyle Gass bonded over a mutual love of the guitar and the rest, as they say, is rock history. Since those humble beginnings, tunes like “Tribute,” “Beelzeboss” and “Kickapoo” have become cult classics. And shoot, these guys have even starred in their own movie –“Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny,” heard of it?

Fresh out of a pandemic, Australia’s 2023 touring calendar was one of the busiest in recent memory, as artists of all stripes took centrestage everywhere from stadium shows to intimate local gigs. With a starry schedule that included the likes of Post Malone , Red Hot Chili Peppers , and Mötley Crüe , it’ll be tricky for 2024’s schedule to outdo its predecessor – and yet, thanks to the likes of Taylor Swift , Blink-182 and Pink , plus Coldplay, Pearl Jam and SZA, it’s poised to do just that.

If there was ever a festival made for James Taylor & His All-Star Band at this juncture of his 50-year career, it’s Day on the Green . The singer will perform at wineries in Queensland (Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton), and New South Wales (Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley, and Centennial Vineyards in Bowral) across April 2024. Taylor will be accompanied by Aussie pair Josh Pyke and Ella Hooper .

Taylor is also playing his own headline shows. After selling out dates in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, new shows have been added in those cities. A Live Nation pre-sale begins February 9 while general on-sale starts February 12.

After a new mixtape, charting singles and landmark Boiler Room set, drum’n’bass lifers Chase & Status celebrated a huge 2023. This year, the British duo will bring the party to Australia and New Zealand on a sold-out co-headlining tour with Australia’s very own Luude. Cult-favourite mathcore/hardcore/metal band Botch from Tacoma, Washington reunited last year more than two decades after their split – and now they’re embarking on their first-ever Aussie tour. The jaunt will include two dates in Melbourne and Sydney apiece as well as shows in Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

With Steve Diggle on vocals, replacing the late Pete Shelley, the band will return to Australia for seven shows in late October to early November. New Edition began their residency at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas in February, with their stay ultimately being extended through November. After their original six shows, New Edition added two more legs for this year for a total of 10 more concert dates. Performing on their 2024 concert tour are group members Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe, who sing their classic hits like "Candy Girl," "Cool It Now," and "If It Isn't Love."

All six members of New Edition are returning for the remainder of the group's Las Vegas residency, which kicks off on July 3. It features seven shows from July 3 to July 13 in Las Vegas, with the third leg picking back up for three additional concert dates in October and November.
