We are a specialised travel medicine clinic providing a comprehensive health service to all travellers.

Our aim is to keep you healthy while you are overseas for your work, holidays, and adventures. If you are unwell on your return, we are also able to help you manage your medical problems and get you back on your feet again as soon as possible.

Located on the same premises is the Mill Street Medical Practice , a fully equipped general practice. All of our doctors have Vocational Registration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and are experienced with all aspects of general practice.

Dr Peter Burke is a WA born doctor who has been looking after Western Australian travellers for over twenty years. For peace of mind on your next holiday, whether you are trekking in Bhutan or surfing the Mentawais, come and see Dr Burke before you travel for vaccinations, medical kits, and expert advice. You don’t even need to book. You don’t need a referral. You can just walk in any Thursday evening from 3 to 8pm. How easy is that?

Dr Burke specialises in travel medicine and provides vaccinations on-site in his Perth clinic for Whooping Cough, Meningitis, Tick Borne Encephalitis, Rabies, Q-Fever and many more. He can also provide Recreational Dive Medicals and advice to corporate or school groups for travelling overseas.

Travel Clinic

All vaccinations including Yellow Fever are available on-site, as well as malaria tablets and a range of specialised medical kits.

Group Bookings

Ideal for groups travelling to the same destination, families, expats, and those with complex itineraries wanting to spend some extra time with a doctor.

Vaccination Prices

Travel consults are billed at the Medicare rebate level. If you are Medicare eligible you can claim 100% back from Medicare.

Mens Health

Dr Burke has a special interest in Men's Health. Health checks can include arranging screening for cardiac risk, skin checks, bowel cancer and more. 

Dr Peter Burke

MBBS(WA) FRACGP DTM&H FACTM Dr Burke specialises in travel medicine and has cared for Western Australian travellers for over fifteen years. He has post-graduate qualifications in tropical medicine, is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine and he lectures in this area to WA doctors and medical students. He provides expert advice to schools who are sending students overseas, and upon request can supply a written advisory for a group or even present at parent / student evenings.

Travel Vaccinations

Venturing abroad is an experience that has the power to ignite creativity, fulfil dreams, and trigger future potential. Protecting that experience before, during, and after travel is paramount and where we come in.

Our travel vaccination clinic offers travel immunisations and travel health advice for all travellers; from individuals and families to aid workers, groups and those heading overseas for business. Convenient and cost effective vaccines and medications are kept on site and recommendations are made based on you and your personal itinerary. Check out our vaccine map page or read one of our destination fact sheets, to get a general idea of what travel vaccines may be recommended for your trip – however, please remember that this information should be used as a general guide only and each traveller will need advice that is specific to their itinerary, including places, regions, time, and season. General advice should not replace an appointment with one of our specialised travel health doctors.

We also offer comprehensive check-ups for those returning from a developing country having been unwell whilst away. Contact us immediately for an appointment if you are still unwell upon return or become sick shortly after arriving home.For those who are particularly unwell, especially having come from a malaria region, they should seek urgent medical attention at their nearest emergency department. For travellers, vets and bat handlers who require rabies post exposure prophylaxis, we keep rabies vaccines on site at all times and usually have Human Rabies Immunoglobulin (HRIG) too. Please make sure you phone ahead to make an appointment.
