Morning activities:

Our guide and driver welcome you at Noi Bai International Airport flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi

Flight MH752 @ 9:40 am – 12:00 pm After 3 hours and 20 minutes flight.

Our guide and driver welcome you at exit gate of the airport and transfer you to restaurant for refresh also lunch.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoy lunch we will go ahead for Halong City. It takes around 2.5 hours on car to reach Halong Bay. En route is the chance to enjoy the stunning sceneries of peaceful villages, local farmers working on fields, water buffaloes are gazing grass on fields, local trading of herbs… We will be arrive arrive Halong City around 5pm. Then check in hotel for rest. Diner by your own.

Day 2: Halong Bay - Hanoi. O/n In Hanoi (B/L)

After enjoy breakfast at the hotel Our tour guide and driver pick you up from hotel depart for Tuan Chau Island .

We will be in Tuan Chau harbor around 8:30. Then welcome aboard, and safety briefing. The boat will take you on an 6 hour cruise similar as 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on boat.

Afternoon activities

Arrive Bo Hon archipelago area where, you will visit Sung Sot Cave. It’s one of the largest and most beautiful one in Halong Bay to see a lot of stalagmites and stalagmites different shapes. Then we go for kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discovery the beautiful lagoon. Highly recommended use Kayak . Because this is the most i nteresting activities in Halong Bay . Then our boat will take you to Titov Island with sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with excellent backdrop of the Bay. It’s a great ideal to climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.

14:30 – Return to the boat after visit Titov island for Tea break and the cruise sails back the shore and the driver welcome you at the harbor for return Hanoi city. You arrive in Hanoi around 17.30 pm.

Evening activities:

Evening is the time for free to wander around Hoan Kiem Lake. Ha Noi Old Quarter to get more experience of Hanoi city. Hanoi is famous for street foods, fresh beer, Pho “noodle”, etc. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi City Tour - Kulalampur (B)

After breakfast at the hotel we check out and continue to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Where you can see the final residence of the great president Uncle Ho. Visit Stilt house that built as tribe house for the president lived in the duration 1958 to 1969.

One Pillar pagoda in the campus next to Ho Chi Minh complex you will have chance to visit the unique pagoda in Asia.   Activities:  Come to Hanoi and enjoy free time until a guided food tour in the evening.

You will touch down in Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport and proceed through customs. Here, you will find our tour guide and driver, who will welcome you with a smile and transfer you to your hotel in the city’s lively Old Quarter (you can check in anytime time from 14:00).

Enjoy the city at your own leisure before 17:30, when our guide will return to your hotel and take you on a food tour of Hanoi. You will learn more about the Vietnamese obsession with food while getting to try some of the country’s favourite dishes like Nem Ran (fried spring rolls), Goi Du Du (papaya salad) Nem Lui (beef and vegetable wraps) and Banh Xeo (crispy fried shrimp pancakes).

We finish at one of the many fantastic cafes that Hanoi has to offer, where we can enjoy a coffee or fruit juice to end the tour and the day. We head back to the hotel after this.

In the morning

The tour moves to its second destination this morning – the outstanding and otherworldly Halong Bay. We begin with a scenic 3.5-hour transfer along the Red River Delta, arriving at the port after this to board your ship.

In the afternoon

We start our voyage with a delicious seafood or vegetarian lunch, serving this in the lovely dining room before we cruise past the first of Halong Bay’s famous limestone mountains soaring straight out of the sea. You will have time for much relaxation on the boat before we arrive at Sung Sot Cave, also called the Surprising Cave, stepping inside to find an incredible world of stalactites and stalagmites formed through two chambers over tens of thousands of years. After this, we make a stop at the striking Titop Island, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy yourself on the golden sand beach, in the placid water or at the top of the island where a panoramic viewing platform offers a great view of the perfect Halong Bay scene. 

In the evening

We return to the cruise after this to have a fabulous dinner and relax into a tranquil evening watching the moonlight shimmer off the surface of the ocean.

Start the city tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho”s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda; founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important Symbol for the people of Hanoi. The tour continues to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam), then lunch. PM: After lunch, proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc TuGiam. 08.00 AM meet your guide and driver at hotel then drive to Sapa via the highway and the journey is approximately 320 KM and durations approximately 5 hours en route with a session of comfort break for rest and relaxation. Upon arrival in SAPA, check-in hotel follows by lunch and continue tour programs. Your tour guide will escort for a walking tour to visit Cat Cat-the old village of the Black Hmong, living nearby Sapa town. The road leading to Cat Cat Village is an easy and interesting route for trekking. The spot is only within 30 minutes of walking from Sapa center; and the hike through the mountains will offer tourists a wonderful view of the rice paddies, waterfall, or even water buffaloes grazing leisurely. The limousine shuttle bus from Cruise team will meet up with guests at the hotel’s lobby around 08.30 AM. and transfer the guests from Hanoi to Tuan Chau Marina Harbour via Expressway. The journey is approximately 180 KM and driving durations will take 2 hours. Upon arriving at the Cruise check-in counter, the cruise manager will welcome guests to embark on board the cruise’s dining deck, and later will do a briefing and introduce the cabin crew, cruise facility, safety equipment, tour programs, and activities for the day. The cruise will start cruising to the famous Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay and you will amaze by these limestone karst formations rising up out of the sea in an impressive manner. While cruising through Con Vit islet (Duck Islet), Thumb islet, and Gia Luan Habour the guests may enjoy a lunch serving and pass by Lan Ha Bay, and Da Chong isle where you can see a lighthouse built by the French 100 years ago. All guests may enjoy swimming and kayaking activities at Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) beach. This is a secluded sea, as not many cruise ships use the route. Continue cruising and anchor at the Tra Bau area, the guests may continue swimming or just relax on the cruise sun deck. Vietnam: Hanoi, Halong Bay & Trekking Pu Luong

Here's an honest, unbiased review of my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with G Adventures. First of all, I've never been on any adventure trip before, however I went with my wife, her sister and her husband, as three of us are turning 60 this year and we thought we'd do something a little different for a change. Booked with G Adventures, as my sister is a travel agent and said they'd never had any problem with them. First of all, we initially flew to Singapore for three nights and did Raffles, the Marina Bay Hotel and the cables cars etc. TIP - 1. they've got a modern underground, which is easy to use. 2. Raffles Long Bar opens at 11am, so get there sharp before the queues start. 3. Singapore is expensive, so beware. We then flew up to Hanoi where we met up with our tour guide (CEO) Phi Hoang and the other ten travellers. From then on we travelled down through Vietnam by bus, train and plane, as well as a night on a boat at Ha Long Bay. TIP - 1. Visit Train Street in Hanoi, it's fun having a train almost take your nose off ! 2. Do the bike ride in Hoi An, experience the free-for-all main roads, before heading out into the fields. Everybody in the group loved it. 3. There's a vegetarian brunch at a Monastery - I love my meat, but it was one of the best meals I've had. 4. Yes, the toilets are basic on the overnight train journey, but the cabins are clean, so pack plenty snacks and have fun. My wife and her sister were a little apprehensive beforehand, but it was a laugh and Phi came round all the cabins taking photos of us. 5. Don't miss the Cu Chi tunnels in Saigon - a must do experience. Try and do the war museum afterwards, which is very informative. We then headed by bus into Cambodia where we did the Killing Fields at Phnom Penn - a very sobering experience. We also did the sunrise at Angkor Wat, an amazing series of temples only a 15 minute drive from our hotel in Siem Reap. We then had a long bus journey to Bangkok where we spent the night, before flying home the following day. Phi was with us the whole trip and was an outstanding guide. If you're lucky enough to get him as your CEO then you'll have a superb time. He speaks excellent English, keeps you updated every day on what's happening, as well as setting up a Whatsapp group where he adds more information, as well as posting photos he takes of the group. He also arranges an evening meal every night at a local restaurant, which you can attend or you can do your own thing. At every activity though, you feel he's always floating around, keeping everybody safe and watching out for any issues. On that note, I never felt threatened or in danger in any of the countries we visited. The locals were always friendly and helpful. We stayed in quite a few hotels. Some were more basic than others, but all were clean, had hot water and air-con. TIP - it's very hot and humid, so pack plenty insect repellent. We had a lot better time than we thought we would and that was a lot down to our CEO. There's several long bus journeys in the trip, but there's regular stops along the way to break things up. We'd definitely use G Adventures again.

This was an unbelievable experience! We were so lucky to get the boat to ourselves on the second day because most of the group was only doing two day and one night. We got to experience halong bay, a fishing village as well as a school. The food was incredible on the cruise we got ten courses each meal! Everyone went above and beyond, my boyfriend left his wallet on the bus back and the coordinator went out herself and got it back for us. Absolutely recommend this trip, this was one of our favorite experiences from asia.

What’s the difference between 3, 4, and 5 -star hotels?

We usually arrange centrally-located and Western-standard hotels. Five-star hotels are usually palatial with huge lobbies and comfortable rooms, their standards not quite matching the best of Paris or New York, but very close. Four-star hotels have quality facilities, but not as luxurious as five-star hotels. Three-star hotels meet the needs of most Westerners, but breakfasts have less choice. We also recommend some courtyard hotels or Vietnamese-style hotels with local features and architecture. These hotels have a good ranking, or positive feedback from our customers, and TripAdvisor. Usually, hotels in big cities, small cities, and rural areas are a bit different, even if they have the same star level. We try to use the best available hotel in each place.

Passport & Visa Requirements

You may be required for visa to Vietnam. Please check the list of countries which need visa to Vietnam in this links: Who need visa to Vietnam? Vietnam Visa is issued by Vietnam Embassy in your country or “Visa on arrival”. Travel Sense Asia will offer free visa to Vietnam for you (except some difficult countries). You will need one clear page (per visa) in a full passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of your departure from Vietnam.

Currency Exchange

As currency exchange rates in Vietnam fluctuate, we suggest you refer to the following website for daily exchange rates: www.xe.com or www.vietcombank.com In 2016 the USD & VND has been around 22.500VND per USD. There are many ATM machines that accept both Visa and Master card, but these are limited to cities. We also recommend the use of cash and travelers checks in USD currency. Major credit cards are accepted in most shops, but they may charge a 2–4% transaction fee.

It is customary to tip service providers in the travel industry in Asia, depending on the service. Tipping is expected — though not compulsory — and shows an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you on your tour. Recommendations for tipping drivers (3 USD per person per day as a guideline) and local guides (8 USD per person per day as a guideline) would depend on the quality and length of the service. In additionally, you will sometimes use rolling boat, cyclo riding, porter which you should give a small tip to these local people.

Eating is an important part of your Vietnam experience. Generally, breakfasts are included in the itinerary and offered by hotels. Travel Sense Asia recommend local Vietnam restaurants that are popular with local people for lunch. You can order dishes with the help of your guide. We usually leave dinner for your own choice — Western food can be found in most large cities. If you are vegetarian or you are looking for e.g. halal food, please feel free to inform your travel advisor, who can arrange a restaurant to fit your needs.

We use comfortable sedans or vans with air-conditioning. The comfort and safety of our customers is of utmost importance, so we ensure that all of the vehicles that we use are well maintained and always very clean. Our drivers take pride in their vehicles. Our car and van are always available space for a comfortable trip. Luggage - All clients are limited to two items of luggage each; a suitcase with a maximum weight of 20kg and one piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 7kg. It is essential that your luggage is lockable. Please note that authorities will only allow bottles onto the aircraft if they have been checked in as main baggage. Bottles in hand luggage may be confiscated.

In Vietnam the standard voltage is 220 V. The standard frequency is 50 Hz. The power sockets that are used are of type A / C / G. • Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi´s fascinating Old Quarter , then spend time for shopping at Dong Xuan market

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner) 

• After breakfast, check out from hotel the transfer to Ha Long Bay.

One of the best resorts we’ve stayed in so far. We took 3d2n package with breakfast, lunch & din provided. Food given large quantity, esp seafood & service was fine. Stayed in Garden Villa chalet. Very clean & comfortable. Housekeeping crew came to clean, very prompt & quick. Clean & nice beach, about 20 paces away from room, as well as clean pool, about 10 paces from room. Surrounding well kept. Resort is, of course, not new but it’s more than adequate to unwind & relax. Came during off-peak season & feels like you have whole resort to yourself! Thank you to staff for memorable holiday.

Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel your booking if you fail to make a full-payment 45 days before travelling dates.

• Upon registration and confirmation of airline ticket request, Traveller must remit full payment for airline ticket according to the dateline as advised by the person-in-charge in AMI Travel.
• For ground and other payments, traveler must remit booking deposit (a 100 % non-refundable) of 30% from the package price (excluding airline ticket) within three (3) days after registration or according to the dateline advised by person- in- charge in AMI. Balance payment must be made thirty (45) days prior to departure date or according to the dateline as advised by the person-in-charge in AMI.
• No changes can be made within 48 days before departure

• Booking cancellation from the participant should be done through email or letter and must be sent to Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours for avoiding any misunderstanding

The Weather in Sapa The dry season begins from around January and lasts until June. March to May is another great  time  to come to Sapa, with sunny days,  good weather  and fresh air. June is an unstable  month ; sometimes wet  season  comes earlier in mid-June, so tourists should be mindful of June, too. In general, March to May and September to mid-December is two  best  times to  visit  this marvelous town.
