From the U.S. (877) 266-1020, calls are $7.95/minute charged to your credit card.  

If you have an internet package, you can keep in touch via FB messenger or whatever app you like. Also check with your cell phone provider for travel rates. We keep in touch with our family members on a daily basis when we're traveling via those two options.

The number cited above is common for all Celebrity ships...  Please be certain that your family members know which ship you will be on and your stateroom number...

Thanks for the info.  We will keep in touch via Facebook messenger, but I like having emergency phone numbers - just in case.  My kids are adults, so daily contact will not be an issue or necessary.

Here are the numbers I was given when I called Celebrity for emergency numbers:

In Case of Emergency: 

Phone #:  1-866-755-2171 (give them your name, ship name, cabin number,  and have them leave us a message)

1-877-266-1020 (give them the info below and they will transfer you to the ship; cost is $7.95 per minute by credit card .  

You just call Celebrity hotline or customer services and they can give you a direct dial number, it is expensive as its a satellite number.

Had to do this time to time with some other lines.  Today, all ships are constantly in contact with land for a whole load of reasons.
