Dire Straits Legacy return Nov. 30 to the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for an unmissable concert as part of the Italian leg that will conclude their world tour.

"Money for Nothing," "Sultans of Swing," "Romeo and Juliet," "Walk of Life," "Brothers in Arms," and "Tunnel of Love" are just a few of the many hits that will be performed by the All Stars Band consisting of Alan Clark on keyboards and Hammond piano (inducted as Dire Straits, along with John Illsley and Guy Fletcher, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) , Phil Palmer and Jack Sonni on guitars, Mel Collins on saxophones, Danny Cummings on percussion (all musicians who have worked closely with Mark Knopfler's band, both live and in the studio) as well as Trevor Horn on bass (formerly The Buggles, Yes).

Completing the lineup are three great Italian musicians, such as Grammy award-winning drummer Cristiano Micalizzi, Primiano Di Biase on keyboards (Venditti, De Gregori, Richard Bennett, Steve Phillips), and the group's frontman Marco Caviglia on vocals and guitar, widely regarded as the world's best interpreter of Mark Knopfler's unique style. Dire Straits Legacy, with more than a decade of concerts and successes around the world, wanted to name the 2023 tour "4U": a special dedication for all their fans and for Riccardo Locatelli the recently deceased manager.

Dire Straits Legacy Tour 2022 Dates and Venues Across the USA and Canada

Today, we would like to share with you all the dates and locations where the band Dire Straits Legacy will perform and have concerts in the period from August 19 th to October 11 th , 2022 . Below you’ll find a photo where are written all the dates and locations.

Namely, we’ve been writing about this band many times until now. But for all fans, we would like to remember something interesting about DSL. This band includes a few former members of the original Dire Straits band. Among the most famous here are Phil Palmer, Alan Clark, Jack Sonny, and many others.

During this summer, Dire Straits Legacy had a full tour of some Brazilian cities. The tour there ended very successfully. So, band will continue with their tour first in the USA and Canada, and later in Northern Ireland and Ireland. They’ll have concerts in the cities of Belfast and Dublin.

As a reminder to all fans, the mission of this band is for the hits of Dire Straits never fade away. Today, the band brings back the music of DS through concerts featuring musicians who have recorded and toured with Dire Straits for over 30 years.

Here is Alan Clark – the first keyboardist of Dire Straits. Phil Palmer and Danny Cummings both were part of the recorded album On Every Street . Mel Collins was a part of the singles ‘ Love Over Gold’ and ‘ Twisting By The Pool’ . Of course, there is also Jack Sonny who was part of the band, during the international bestseller album Brothers in Arms . All these members have performed with Dire Straits on several global tours.

Other DSL members include bassist Trevor Horn (The Buggles, Yes), one of the world’s greatest record producers, Primiano Di Biase , Europe’s most in-demand and sought-after keyboardist, and last but not least frontman Marco Caviglia who is widely regarded as the world’s leading authority on Mark Knopfler’s unique guitar-playing style.

Drawing from six platinum albums, DSL’s incredible live show features all of the classic Dire Straits hits.

PHIL PALMER MUSICAL DIRECTOR – GUITARS & VOCALS Phil joined Dire Straits in 1990 and played on the band’s On Every Street record and world tour. He is one of the world’s top session guitarists, having played on more than 450 albums and toured with a list of some the world’s greatest artists that is too long to mention; think of a name and Phil has probably played with that person. He was also a member of Eric Clapton’s band along with his DS Legacy colleagues Alan and Steve

ALAN CLARK PIANO, HAMMOND ORGAN AND KEYBOARDS Alan joined Dire Straits in 1980, becoming their first and main keyboard player, and played on every tour and record thereafter until the band’s eventual breakup in the mid-1990s. He also co-produced the “On Every Street” album with Knopfler. He has played and recorded with many other artists and was a member of Eric Clapton’s band for several years while Dire Straits took a break, and was Tina Turner’s musical director at the height of her career.

TREVOR HORN BASS & VOCALS Is a true legend in the music industry. After forming The Buggles and recording the chart topping 1979 hit “Video Killed the Radio Star”, Horn went on to produce some of the most recognizable anthems that defined the Eighties, including ABC’s “Lexicon of Love”, “Owner of a Lonely Heart” by Yes, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s number one hits “Relax”, “Two Tribes” and “The Power of Love”.Trevor went on to produce hits for Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Marc Almond, Barry Manilow, Cher, Boyzone, 10cc, Bryan Ferry, John Legend, Lisa Stansfield, Robbie Williams, Grace Jones, Simple Minds and many others.

DANNY CUMMINGS PERCUSSIONS & VOCALS Danny joined Dire Straits as their percussionist in 1990 and played on the On Every Street album and tour. Outside of Dire Straits, he has worked with many great artists including Tina Turner, George Michael, Bryan Adams, Pino Daniele, and was the drummer in Mark Knopfler’s band for several years.

MEL COLLINS SAX Mel joined Dire Straits in 1982 and played on the Love over Gold album and tour, and the Twisting by the Pool. He’s also played with a huge list of artists/bands including the Stones, Camel, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Tears for Fears and many more, and as an original member of King Crimson, has recently been doing a world tour with the band

STEVE FERRONE DRUMS Steve is regarded by many to be the world’s greatest living rock drummer, and has worked with many artists including Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, Paul Simon, the Bee Gees, Slash, David Bowie, George Benson, the Average White Band, Chaka Khan, as well as being a member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for the past 22 years.

MARCO CAVIGLIA VOICE & GUITARS In love with the music of Dire Straits and his musical mentor Mark Knopfler, Rome-born Marco formed the band Solid Rock in 1988, and in 1990 toured with the legendary bluesman of the Notting Hillbillies, Steve Phillips. But hisdream was to play with his Dire Straits “heroes”, and that dream became a reality in 2010 with the DS legends, and now again with the fantastic line-up that is the DSLegacy. PRIMIANO DIBIASE KEYBOARDS Also a Roman, Primiano is a sought after, gifted keyboard player who has played on many records and with many artists including Richard Bennett, Steve Phillips, Gigi Proietti, Neri Marcorè
