Came to this Caravan Park after being severely disappointed by the Sunset Caravan Park and was extremely pleasantly surprised. The park managers were so friendly and polite. The amenities are brilliant with a bar that opens in peak season, camp kitchen is amazing, fresh prawns and can get all your supplies here too! Karumba Point Holiday Tourist Park

Karumba Point Tourist Park is a popular destination for travellers wanting to experience all that the Gulf of Carpentaria has to offer, with the beach, shopping and local hotel being only a short distance away. The Park offers plenty of shady powered and unpowered sites, air-conditioned on-site caravans and a sparkling swimming pool. There are two amenities blocks, laundry facilities, dump points and a fish cleaning area for the lucky fishermen.

Organised activities are held each week, culminating each Saturday with a free fish barbecue, free guided walks, Bingo, Bocce and free craft. Friendly staff are there to help with everything from parking vans to helping with information or make any tour bookings required. Nature is abounds in the area and the birdwatching is as popular as the fishing and crabbing.

The friendly atmosphere of the Park is well renowned, many who visit, seem to return because they have such a great experience. There is also a craft supplies shop in the Park if you need to top up on wool and cottons while on their travels. The shop also stocks the usuals like souvenirs, bait, ice, bread, milk, drinks, ice-creams and a few other little emergency supplies.
