The cozy restaurant on the main deck serves gourmet local and European cuisine daily, as well as fresh pastries, fruit, delicious snacks, and seafood.Three meals a day, snacks, and soft drinks are included in the tour price.

If you need vegetarian meals or meals for special dietary needs, please request them in advance when booking, and the on-board chef can prepare these for you.

Kite with people with similar taste in recreation, and get together in the evening to watch a video of the day.

If there is no wind, or if you are looking to take a break between kite sets, there are board games, snorkeling equipment, fishing equipment, inflatable banana on board.

Parties, grilling meat and seafood, and other exciting activities await you every evening on the yacht’s deck.

The Lyra is fully equipped and meets high safety standards. There is a fire alarm and extinguishing system on board, life jackets, a first-aid kit, and an oxygen unit. The crew of the yacht is confident in first-aid skills.

Two zodiacs (inflatable boats) will ensure safety during the kite set, and will take you back to the island if you were unable to return to shore on your own for some reason.

Kiting in the Red Sea is a great reason to put everything on pause and get the most out of your vacation so you can return home tanned and recharged. For this purpose, 7 days in good company are enough. However, there is one point to mention: kiting is addictive. You will want to return to Egypt again and again!

When you arrive at the Hurghada airport, a representative of the team will meet you and transfer you to the yacht in comfort. Then you will check in into your cabin and get to know like-minded people during dinner. The yacht stays in the port the first night.

In the early morning, the yacht leaves the port. We will go to the first kite area, and enjoy breakfast. Instructors will give a briefing and introductory theory for beginners. In the morning we will arrive at the island, which will be our training and kiteboarding spot. After the yacht is anchored, we will go to the island for the first kite set. Then we'll break off for a delicious lunch and kite again until sunset. After dinner, we conduct a debriefing on the previous day in the company of instructors.

Kitesurfing throughout the week, as well as water activities, snorkeling, grilling meat and seafood, and other exciting activities on the yacht's deck. In the evening, you can get together in a cozy indoor lounge on the upper deck to watch videos and have fun. If you wish, you can chill in the bar or in the Jacuzzi, or have a party on the island. On the last day, a kite set is scheduled in the morning, and then the yacht will sail back to the port.

Saturday is our last day on the yacht. After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight departure.

To ensure that you get the most pleasure and comfort out of this amazing trip, do not forget to bring some important things on board:

• Short 2-3 mm wetsuit or rash guard: For a comfortable time in the sea water and in the wind
• Neoprene water boots: To protect your feet from corals and other underwater life that you could step on accidentally
• Several board shorts and Lycra with long sleeves: For the convenience of riding and a variety of beautiful photos
• High-quality Aquapac: To be able to take electronic devices with you
• Waterproof sunscreen with a high SPF: To prevent sunburn and for a beautiful, smooth tan
• Sunglasses with a special elastic band and a “float”: For reliable eye protection from the bright sun
• Personal medication you may need: there is a first-aid kit on the yacht

To choose the right size for your kite, you need to take 2 criteria into account: your weight and the strength of the wind. Briefly, the relationship between them can be expressed as follows:

• Weight: Heavy weight = large kite, light weight = small kite
• Wind: Strong wind = small kite, light wind = large kite

The wind force and the rider’s weight should always be considered in relation to one another.

The most versatile kite in the world is 12 sq. m. Depending on the strength of the wind and your experience, for a weight of 60-70 kg (132-154 lbs.), it is recommended to take the 11-12 and 7-8 sizes. For 70-80 kg (154-176 lbs.) it should be the 13-14 and 9-10 sizes, and for 80-100 kg (176-220 lbs.), it should be the 15-16 and 10-11 kite sizes.

The following factors should be considered:

• Rider’s level: The higher your level is, the higher the range of kite you can use, and vice versa.
• Rider’s weight: The higher your weight is, the higher the range of kite you can use, and vice versa.
• Board size and displacement: The larger the board, the lower the wind range of the kite is, and vice versa.

Unlike experienced riders, beginners should take a smaller kite. Generally, consider the following: if you use a kite whose size is not large enough for a given wind, it will be inconvenient when starting from the water and going upwind. If the kite is too large, you can lose control of it, and that is unsafe. Since the wind often changes, it makes sense for experienced kiteboarders to purchase 2-3 kites with a difference of 3-5 sq. m for different wind conditions – they will cover up to 90% of the range of existing winds.

For beginners and those who wish to brush up on their skills, we provide kitesurfing training. We have experienced instructors for all levels, and all of them have IKO and VDWS international certifications. You can choose the right one based on your goals. Would you like to get to know the kite? Learn new tricks? Try foilboarding? Whatever you dream of, our instructors will help you make it happen. To receive training, the minimum age is 7-8 years old, and the weight must not be less than 35-40 kg (77-88 lbs.). You can receive training in Russian, Ukrainian, and English.

An introductory course is essential for beginners. It introduces the kite and how it works with the power of water and wind, and gives the basics of safety. Practical lessons in shallow water teach you how to operate the kite, launch and land it, start from the water, and move against the wind. The result will be that you will be confident enough to have a really good time kitesurfing.

• Hourly lessons: 80 € per hour

The complete course expands the basic knowledge of kite and kitesurfing and helps you to work on those moments in kitesurfing you are not good at. This course will help you grow and develop in kitesurfing confidently and safely.

Our rental fleet of kites, boards, and additional accessories will allow you to ride as efficiently and safely as possible. You can kitesurf in Egypt year-round. This is good news for those who like to “fly” on a kite. But each season is different.

• May to October is the best season for kiting. The air temperature is 27-32 C (81-90 F), and the water temperature is 28-31 C (82-89 F).
• In November to February, the air temperature is about 10-21 C (50-70 F), but rain is very likely. This weather is not very suitable for kiting.
• The rainiest month is January. However, even in winter, less precipitation falls on the Red Sea.

The perfect weather conditions for kiting are wind that is calm but strong enough, and warm water. Each year is different from the previous one, and it is impossible to predict the weather conditions in advance. Nevertheless, we advise you to plan a kite safari in Egypt between April and October.

• At the Hurghada airport, travelers are met by a team agent and taken to the yacht. Tourists settle down and, over a joint dinner in the port, get to know other participants in a kite safari in the Red Sea.

Founded by Saif, we share our passion for wind with our guests for over 10 years. Our homespot is El Gouna, where we teach, coach and organize our safaris from March to October. In the winter, we spend the season at world class flatwater spots in Sri-Lanka.

HOW OUR SAIFARIS WORK

Our goal is to make your time during the Saifari as simple and easy as possible. It all starts with a free pickup from Hurghada Airport and the first night on the boat. Over the next days, we visit different islands and kitespots before returning back to Hurghada to end your holdiays.

When we get to a new spot, we load up all the gear onto the two zodiac boats. It's just a quick 5-minute ride from the main boat to the beach where we set up the kites. We always have a beach assistant and rescue boats on standby for the session. Then, it's time to have some fun kitesurfing!

A day on the boat

Each day on the boat is slightly different, but typically includes 2-3 kite sessions. Our Saifaris, organized from March to October, benefit from consistent winds. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect on a typical day on the boat.

Morning session

For those who like to wake up early, we offer an optional sunrise session as a fantastic way to kickstart the day. It's a wonderful opportunity for those who wish to make the most of their mornings.

Every morning we offer a healthy and balanced breakfast. For all our meals we offer vegeterian as well as vegan options - simply let us know before you arrive.

Try new tricks

In your first or second session of the day, you can enjoy the great winds and really work on your tricks in amazing flatwater. To really boost your riding, you can get coaching from one of our performance coaches.

Lunch & Chill

Time for a break! Our two chefs on board will prepare a delightful lunch, giving you a chance to recharge. Before the sunset session, take some time to unwind, relax a bit, or even have a quick power nap.

If you’re part of the ‘Basic’ package that requires you to bring your own equipment, make sure to pack all necessary gear. The need for equipment depends on the package you select. Our ‘Basic’ package is designed for those who prefer to use their own gear. However, the ‘Plus’ and ‘Pro’ packages come with all the necessary kiteboarding equipment, including the latest models for a superior experience.

Saturday  You will be arriving HOT! Our driver is waiting for you with a pink TWTS sign, you might meet some of your new kite buddies right away! We are welcome at the boat from 4 PM. In case you arrive earlier, we’ll store your luggage on deck and show you some nice restaurants around the corner. We have a chilled drink waiting for you on arrival. 8 PM our first dinner! So many new faces, luckily there is good food to start with ;) We stay in the marina this evening. Feel free to look around!

Sunday The adventure begins! While you are still sleeping, the boat departs the marina with sunrise. While we are having breakfast, the boat docks at our first spot. After a briefing & introductions, we are ready to rock! 10 AM – first session 1 PM – lunch time 2 PM – small nap & coffee 3 PM – kite till sunset 6 PM – have a nice drink on the beach while packing up your gear. 8 PM – dinner! (with desserts)

Should we wake up at 6  AM for a sunrise session tomorrow?

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Let’s check some more spots! After our spot briefing, it’s time to discover! How you found your favorite place yet? Kiting from 6 AM to 6 PM – all day – every day We try to do a nice downwinder (Advanced) on our way to the next spot.

Friday  If we still have the power, we wake up for 1 last sunrise session at our favorite spot. We can still kite from 6 AM to 3 PM this day. Let’s consolidate your new tricks! Around 3 PM we start heading back to the marina. Our last dinner is on the boat. After packing up your gear & bags, it’s time for a gooooooood-bye party! We’ll go for a dance at one of Hurghada’s clubs & dance away the sore muscles ;)

Our luxury yacht is waiting for us in the Hurghada Marina, close to Hurghada Airport. Quick flights to and from many different cities in Europe. We will be cruising the Red Sea for one week, finding all the pretty spots, the best wind & amazingly blue waters.

The Red Sea is known for it’s warm, clear waters, while blowing steady winds year round. With 80% chance of 15 to 25 knots each day, we are looking forward to a week full of sessions.

We will be kiting from sunrise to sunset, riding the prettiests lagoons & secret spots.

The windy is blowing year round on the Red Sea, with a peak in May to October .

Expect daily winds in the morning & afternoon, from light sessions to 30 knots. Egypt can be considered a freestyle heaven with it’s many shallow lagoons, warm waters & steady winds.

Wind stats for June to October is 80% chance of wind.

Advised kite sizes go from 7m to 15m, depending on your level and style.

We will be checking different spots and lagoons during this kitesurf Safari, but they all have flat, warm water & all the space to play around and progress. 

Chill at a desert island , nap at the comfortable boat while keeping an eye on your friends who are shredding it, go snorkling or just eat-sleep-kite-repeat. 

Lessons start in shallow waters. We have boat surveillance  for all and easy learning & progression conditions.

Sun, sea, salt It’s hot, warm & salty this week and you will love it! Pack your sunscreen (50+), zinc, lyra & swim suit, because that’s about all you will be wearing this week.

The water is about 30 degrees, the air temperature about the same.  You can bring a 2mm shorty for sunset sessions if you get cold quickly, but thicker will probably be too hot. 

Sunglasses, hats & leggings are often needed too, as we will be in the sun a lot. Soak up the sun and you will be completely relaxed and tanned after a week of kiting in Egypt.

The Kite Safari in general is a super unique trip, but Alice, Momo and the crew are making it even more unique. Super helpful, funny and well organized, We`ve had 100% Wind and discovered unbelievable islands and lonely sandbanks. The food was amazing – my first kite trip without hunger. The only thing your instructor will expect from you is that you know how to swim, but of course, being in good shape helps. Strength isn’t a necessary component to successful kiteboarding; it’s all about the technique, which is why it’s the perfect sport to take lessons as a beginner.

If you’re new to kiting, help from the guide will benefit you immensely. Technically, all you need to know to kiteboard is how to swim and how to stand on the board, but keep in mind that private courses are not included in the price. Still, beginners are more than welcome to join. An instructor will make sure you’re safe while you get the hang of it, and will show you some tips and tricks needed to progress quickly and get you out there on your own in no time.

Group sizes and prices:

• The maximum number of participants for this kitesurfing safari adventure is 20.
• Cost is per person and it doesn’t decrease as the group grows.

• If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.

To get to the islands in the Red Sea near Hurghada, most people fly into Cairo International Airport . From there you can take a 1-hour flight to Hurghada International Airport (HRG) about 10 minutes away from the yacht you’ll be staying on. Once you get there, your guiding service will transfer you from the airport to the yacht. At the end of your adventure, your guiding service will transfer you back to the airport. Your check-in is at 6 pm and check-out before 12 pm.

Another option is to drive from Cairo to Hurghada (approximately a 5-hour drive).

KITE SAFARI BOATS

Our boats are conveniently docked in the beautiful Hurghada Marina, and ranges from a luxury 10 guests boat to a massive 24 guests boat.

Typically the interior of the boat is on point, with airconditioning in the interior, a spacious lounge with a Plasma TV/DVD set, a modern sound system spreading along the decks, and a restaurant providing 3 tasty meals a day, prepared fresh by our chef. Bar and Solarium available, to  enjoy the sunset and get a drink after a long kitesurfing day.

Our boats are especially designed for watersport activities and sea safaris, with an excellent compromise between the speed needed to cruise the sea and the stability to ensure comfort for our passengers. One or two zodiacs are also present to help kitesurfers access the pristine lagoons and small islands of the Red Sea.

KITE SAFARI: GETTING STARTED

If you need a full travel package flight plus Kite Safari, contact us and we will put you in contact with one of our partner European travel agencies – they will take care of all the details of your trip.

Alternatively, you can organize your trip independently. The easiest way to arrive in Egypt is via Egypt Air, Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines, but there are many flight operators and charters connecting Egypt with Europe and the rest of the World:

Once you arrive in Hurghada, we will arrange your transfer from the airport to the boat: one of our guys will meet you at the airport arrival and take care of you from there.

KITESURFING CRUISE DAY BY DAY

ARRIVAL AT HURGHADA AIRPORT, EGYPT, SATURDAY – DAY 0

After being welcomed at Hurghada airport you will be transferred to the Boat moored just 5 minutes away at Hurghada new marina. We will have dinner on the boat, maybe a drink in the marina if you are not too tired, and then a good night sleep.  You will be sleeping on the boat the first night, to be ready to depart on Sunday early morning.

In the event of an early arrival on Friday you can ride with our team at some of the local spots and overnight in a hotel (on request).

SUNDAY – DAY 1

Depart to the north of the Red Sea for a 6 days of cruising. After a 30 mins  trip we reach our first spot, Abu Mungar for a warm up session, a strip of sand perfect for setting up the kites, of which you can kite on both sides. We will spend all day here, and sleep here as well.

In the early morning we move to one of the best kitesurfing spots of the Red Sea, Tawila Island . A huge lagoon with crystal clean and shallow water. Here the adventure begins. Jump the sand bar or freestyle on glass flat water. Secluded beach with a great atmosphere, far away from the crowded coasts and cities.

After a full kiting day, a well deserved drink in the main deck, and after the sunset our crew may teach you how to catch Calamari! As we wait for our meal to be prepared you can check out the videos and pictures from the day’s session on our screens. We will be sleeping in Tawila, ready for an early morning session.

If you are up to it, we will wake up at 6 in the morning for a session before breakfast! We will spend the full day in Tawila, and move in the afternoon to the third spot, Geisum island . We will be sleeping in Geisum.

We will spend the full day in Geisum (again we can kite from early early morning), and move in the late afternoon to Ashrafi Islands ,  our ultimate extreme spot! During the Northern most part of our safari we’ll travel between the islands to a great lagoon, with perfect side shore wind and deep waters for advanced and shallow area for beginner.

Why not take a look under your board? The water here is so clear that you’ll easily see the dolphins as they glide through the water. A real unspoilt area and a great place to take advantage of our kayaks and snorkeling equipment to explore the colour full coral below the surface. Also a great place for wakeboarding, as it is very quiet and flat!

With no man made light pollution the stars here are bright and plentiful. Enjoy this spectacle with drinks on the deck.

Before breakfast we will start a 10 km downwind ride to our next spot! The boat and our rescue team will follow us to give us that extra aspect of safety. Starting with flat water, we’ll head outside to catch some serious swell. It’s time to try some big carving and high jumps.

We’ll finish the day’s session back on Geisum . This is a great chance to explore the lagoons you missed last time as the area is very large. We will be sleeping in Geisum.

FRIDAY DAY 6

Early morning ride on the island lagoon. A good chance for a final picture session. We finish kiting around midday and enjoy a hearty lunch before heading back to Hurghada. Gear will be cleaned and packed at the marina. Still have energy for more fun? We’ll head out for a night in one of the area’s most popular beach nightclubs. We sleep one last night on the boat in the marina.

SATURDAY DAY 7

It’s time for goodbye! After breakfast, we will leave the boat. If you have a later flight, we can go kite in some kite spots in Hurghada or El Gouna, or just chill at a nearby beach till it’s time to go.

IMPORTANT: our weekly route above may change due to wind conditions – we will do our best to visit as many kite spots as possible and to stick to the classic route of the safari, but we cannot guarantee it.

The Red Sea is rich of beautiful sandy islands surrounded by clear blue water. All islands we are heading to during our Kite Safari have a convenient set-up and launching area and shallow water.

In general, the islands Tawila, Gesum, Ashshrafy and Abu Mungar are on our schedule. Yet, we select the most suitable island each day depending on the wind conditions and the situation at sea.

These are approximate hours, but give you an impression on how your day on the Kite Safari could look like. We will inform you during our daily briefings about the exact timings and highlights of the day.

5:30 – 8:00 early bird kitesurfing session 8:00 – 10:00 breakfast 10:00 – 13:00 daytime kitesurfing session 13:00 – 15:00 lunch break 15:00 – 18:00 sunset kitesurfing session 19:30 – 21:30 dinner 22:00 – enjoying the evening with good company

The check-in on the yacht happens on Saturday and we start our cruise on Sunday in the early morning. We arrive back in the Marina on Friday at sunset and spend our last night discovering Hurghada (or El Gouna) together.

We are cruising on a 33 x 8,5 meters luxurious yacht. Enjoy the views from the sundeck or relax in the spacious lounge while having unlimited fruits, snacks and soft drinks from the bar. Delicious buffet meals will be served in the dining room three times per day.

The boat has cabins and suites to host up to 22 people – each of them is equipped with a private bathroom and AC.

One-Day Kite Safari

Enjoy a one-day trip to the spectacular Tawila Island. Experience the flat, knee-deep, turquoise blue water and the stable wind condition in the middle of the Red Sea.

And no worries in case not everybody of your group of friends or family members is keen on kiteboarding: The one-day Kite Safari is also an excellent opportunity to go snorkelling, fishing or just relax on the sundeck.

This action-packed Island Tour is the perfect choice for every kitesurfing enthusiast! Join a group of like-minded kitesurfers from all over the globe for 7 days and ride from morning till sunset in butter flat lagoons and crystal-clear waters, visiting new islands and sites every day!

The wind conditions here are the best in Egypt! With reliable and constant winds generally, you can add another 3-5 knot on top of the shore-based forecast.

The spots are suitable for all levels. Beginners can practice and ride safely in the shallow sandy areas whilst more advanced riders will be able to choose between the flat-water lagoons or venture a little further offshore into deeper waters. There will also be the opportunity to make a downwinder from one island to another.

However, in the unfortunate event of no-wind days, there’ll be plenty of no-wind activities to keep the fun going! These include SUP, Snorkelling and even wakeboarding! Our fully trained crew will be on hand to cater to guests onboard needs. In addition to providing beach assistance, they also take care of in-water assistance with the rescue boat when needed.

Arrival day

After meeting you at the airport we will head straight to the boat, where our crew will welcome you on board and give you all the information needed for the coming week. The boat is moored in Hurghada Marina, a 15-minute drive from Hurghada international airport. We will spend the first evening on the boat in the marina, where you have the possibility to make some last minute shopping.

Safari day 1

We will be leaving the marina early morning and head north to reach our first spot for a warm-up session, followed by a freshly made lunch buffet prepared by our excellent chef onboard. The first spot is ideal for practising if you haven’t ridden for a while.

Safari day 2

An early bird session is possible for those waking up with the sun. For others on the kitesurfing safari , the day is starting after the delicious breakfast buffet. We are staying at the same spot as day 1, a huge butter flat lagoon with shallow water and a white sandy bottom.

Safari day 3

Depending on the level of the riders we may head further north to more rural and lesser explored spots. The kite spots here are incredible. The wildlife remains wild and rarely disturbed. There is the chance to spot dolphins, a variety of fish and birds nesting on the islands.

Safari day 4

On day 4 we will head over to our next spot; another beautiful island. The wind is usually much stronger in the sea compared to the shore, which almost gives us guaranteed wind during the week. However, in the case of a no wind day, we will have fun wakeboarding and snorkelling around the beautiful reefs here.

Safari day 5

We kite all morning and after the lunch break, you have the option to make a downwinder to our next spot by kite. This is truly an amazing experience and challenge! We will follow the safari boat by kite to the next island, whilst the rescue boat will be beside us at all times.

Safari day 6

Our cruise in the Red Sea will be coming to an end but first, we will enjoy a whole day of kiting before heading back to Hurghada marina. Finally, your last night will be spent here onboard the boat where you can also discover Hurghada’s nightlife and restaurants.

How it was last year

How safe in Egypt?

In Egypt and Hurgada especially is a very welcoming place living a lot from tourism. So it's pretty safe in general now: no conflicts inside of related to country and all the tourists are "holy cows", so you don't need to worry about your safety on the boat or in the city. Still wearing more reserved clothes is recommended for girls as Egypt is Muslim country. Unless you want to constantly catch the eyes of Egyptian men on you or find local husband fast 😁 More reserved outfit (without open bellies, very short skirts/dresses/shirts, transparent or sexy clothes) matters basically only when you go out of Marina. Marina itself is a super touristic place with locals used to every possibly outfit.

Money questions/exchange etc

You don't need to take a lot of cash on you. If you paid only the prepayment for the safari, we kindly ask you to take euros to pay the rest on the boat in the first day. In all the restaurants in Marina and most of shops you can pay by card, but when you go out of Marina for some shopping it's better to have local cash or small dollars on you. You can get local cash from the ATMs in Marina. There are also ATMs where you can change dollars/euros. For that sometimes they ask you for a local phone number, but you can just put 11 times "0" (00000000000) and it'll be enough to proceed to change. You can also change money on Sharaton street, the main touristic vein of Hurgada, in 5 minutes walk from our Marina. There are bank branches for that. The only thing you need with you is your passport. Smaller dollars/euros can be also in need when you buy local sim-card in the airport. Be ready that they'll pay you change in local currency. Soft drinks (juice, water, tea, instant coffee) are included in price of the safari buy you can need cash to pay for alcohol (wine, beer) and espresso coffee. Cash can be needed to pay for individual photoshoots some memorables on the boat (we will have glasses, silver hand-made jewelry for sale). We would not recommend you to change money in the airport because the change rate is not very good there.

Where you can go for shopping ?

If you want to buy some Egyptian memorables (spices, natural sponges, tea, black seed oil, Arabic lamps, Arabic dresses, jewelry etc) you can go for shopping to Marina or to Sharaton street (5minutes from our Marina). Also there will be option to buy awesome glasses and silver hand-made jewelry on the boat.

Insurance / Sea Sickness / Health issues

On our trip while being on the boat you don't need to worry about your health. The boat is being cleaned all the time. Special reliable stuff is cleaning your room every day and change towels one time during the trip. The food is adapted to European tastes so you don't need to be worried about you stomach as well. Hygiene and clean water is a must here. Though every body is different, very rear stomach issues can happen even in the best places in the world. In any situation we have all needed medical and a doctor on the yacht. As the boat is very big it's a slight chance that you'll experience sea sickness. But in case you are sensitive to swell there are special tablets on the boat. You should take one pill evening before our launch from Marina at 5:30 a.m. and problem is solved. When we are at the island we are not moving so you basically sleep like a kid in a swing. No sea sickness can occur during the boat being parked at the spot😇 We would recommend you to take care of the medical insurance. Don't forget that we'll be doing an extreme kind of sport. Under the eye of instructors it's safe at maximum but if you're doing freestyle the risks increase, so please take care of being insured for doing water sports. On the boat we'll have a doctor but if smth more serious happens and the boat to the mainland will be needed it is at least 300-400€ one way. So please, jump from the highest deck of the boat only in the last day of the trip 👹

What's about internet during the trip?

We will have internet connection at the most spots of the kite-safari. We also take signal antenna's amplifiers, so the connection will be more or less stable. Unfortunately with Egyptian internet, it's not always easy, so if someone needs to go to video calls and not depend on how many people connect to the wi-fi, it's better to buy Egyptian sim-card or be on roaming. ‼️ There's a chance that we stay on the spot without internet for a couple of days. So please finish all your urgents before the trip. Info for those who will buy local cards for the Internet. They cost $10-15 and we will buy them right at the airport. It is preferable to take Orange or Etisalat. Therefore, it is better to have small dollars with you, the Egyptians are happy to accept them, but they like to give out change in their local currency. Therefore, exchange $50-100 banknotes for smaller 1-5-10$

What clothes do you need for kitesurfing?

October is a warm month, the average air temperature is +30 C, the water temperature is about +25C. And this means that it is very comfortable to ride and you can forget about uncomfortable thick wetsuits. Here's approximate items you can need: 🔸 hat for riding, otherwise the face can burn badly 🔸 glasses with a good UV lens to protect your eyes from the sun. This is especially important for beginners who constantly look up at the kite and, accordingly, at the sun. Be sure to have a rope /floater for the glasses so that they do not drown. 🔸Neoprene shoes - a must for everyone!!! The ideal option for me is a short shoes 1-3 mm. In 5 mm shoes you will be very hot. 2mm is fine too. 🔸lycra shirt - a must for everybody to not get burned, leggings for girls - optional (especially for those who's learning during low tides). Leggings can be the most ordinary sports ones that you don’t mind wasting. Remember, it will most likely be hot and during the day the whole body better to hide from direct sun, especially in the first days. 🔸short thin 1-2 mm wetsuits are also considered as an option for riding, especially after lunch, when the active sun goes down rapidly. It doesn't get cold, but the heat goes away. 🔸 Do I need a long 3 mm wetsuit? You definitely don't need it in October, but just in case and if you have 3mm shorty you can take it. 🔸 Do I need a long 5 mm wetsuit? We can recommend to leave space in your bag for mango instead of 5mm wetsuit in October😇 🔸it can also be useful to take smth to cover the lower part of your face - but it's definitely optional, not a must 🔸 sun creams, colorful surf zincs and again sun creams, better with SPF 50, and don't forget to put it on your ears! Believe it or not, but they will burn first 😁

Which clothes should I take to wear on the boat?

October is always a warm month. Of course, we will check the weather before the flight to check if nothing changed ftom what we used to. For today the clothes-list can look like that: ▫️ socks, flip flops and maximum sandals or flip flops that you want to wear to the island. On the boat its a barefoot-mode. The floor is always clean, the staff cleans it regularly. And you will not be allowed into the dining room in shoes, the staff carefully monitors this and the cleanliness of the yacht. Therefore, who does not want to walk barefoot - take socks. ▫️ Light clothing is essential. As during the day you change from your swimsuit/shorts to dry clothes for lunch or evening. ▫️ guys often take 1-2 pairs of shorts, a couple of T-shirts, a jacket and that's it ▫️ girls often take shorts, a skirt, t-shirts, a shirt, light dresses, put a sweater / jacket on their shoulders in the evening ▫️ a light windbreaker (we remember that the wind is blowing here), leggings / top / shorts (for yoga and stretching), you can wear hoodies or light pants ▫️also take some outfit/costume for our TRIBE Party. Some inspirational looks/examples we'll send later. We have also idea about NEON party, if everyone have time and power for that, so some white item is advisable in your wardrobe👼 ▫️ be sure to take caps/hats/SPF creams/zincs/sunglasses with the leash/line to them ▫️ hair dryer if the girls need it In fact, you don’t need a lot of clothes, because basically everyone spends time on the beach. In the morning you go out for breakfast, then drink coffee on the 2nd deck, then ride, then change and have lunch (chill on the decks), then ride again and then go down for dinner. Here, girls can recall that they have a beautiful dresses or pink lipstick, while guys still continue to wear their shorts 🙂

What about alcohol in Egypt?

In Egypt You can buy Strong alcohol , champagne and wine. But it's better to buy alcohol in your country or in Duty Free🤓. Because Local alcohol is ... very local😄🤔but it's impossible to find here anything else. 😜 (Attention! you can buy only one bottle in Egyptian duty free) You can buy egyptian strong alcohol, champagne, beer and energy drinks on the yacht for an additional fee.

This adventure is suitable for complete beginners as well as for intermediate and advanced kiters. We will kite on small deserted islands where you will have as much space as you need. The water is calm (beautiful flat without waves), clear, and shallow – perfect conditions for beginner kiters to devote the whole week to the basics of kitesurfing and improve. An intermediate kiter can work on his progress and learn new things during coaching workshops. Advanced kiters can practice and learn new tricks during our freestyle lessons.

Our kite safari begins with meeting our guests at the airport. The road from the airport to the marina with boats takes 15-20 minutes. Then you will get to know the team and have dinner.

We will wake up on the spot, i.e. our captain is already taking care of the sailing location according to the wind forecast. Breakfast will be offered to guests starting at 8 a.m., and at 10:00 a.m. the first group will already be on the spot. Usually, on the first day, guests do 2-3 kitesurfing sessions.

In addition to kitesurfing, we offer guests wakeboarding behind a small boat (of which we usually have 2), diving - an opportunity to get PADI open water. Dinner, analysis of errors from photos and videos taken during the day.

Party day... We train and kite all day long. While the guests are resting after breakfast, the kite surf camp team is already preparing for you an incredible themed party on the island, with loud music and a beautiful atmosphere of the wild extraordinary islands. Change of location.

After breakfast, we go to the kite spot, we have a lot of work ahead of us. The most advanced students are already making their first tacks to the right and left. 2-3 sessions of kite riding and error analysis are planned. Everyone is relaxing after the party.

Here's How Our KiteSurf Camp Works

All our kite instructors have more than 10 years of experience in teaching kitesurfing. Each instructor is accredited by the ICO and knows how to make your kite training safe. Our team consists of 7 kite instructors, a dive instructor, a massage therapist, a disc jockey, and a kite guide. The boat crew will also be present on the boat, who will serve us, cook, take care of the boat and help us settle in the kite spots.

We have already established a successful kite school in Thailand, Portugal, Egypt and Ukrainian Crimea. Over the years, we have taught kitesurfing to thousands of students. We are proud of the path we had to go through. Kitesurfing is an extreme sport, but during the time we teach, our students have not received any injuries.

We will use all this knowledge and experience to make your kite safari unforgettable.

For our kite safari, we use motor boats of the luxury segment. Such boats as Lira, Anemon, Neo, Dolchevita - have a similar level of quality. The boat is designed for 20-30 guests (the team is counted separately).

There is enough space on the boat for each guest to have personal space.

In between kitesurfing, you can relax on a boat, snorkel (the red sea is extremely beautiful), swim in a jacuzzi, ride a small motor boat or try wakeboarding.

What you need to know about kite safaris:

The first question that arises from our clients is "What if I don't like the company, I have to live with them for a week and I can't get anywhere from this kite safari"?

The answer is that there are at least 20 guests on the boat, as a rule, they are divided into several companies, so if you don't like someone, you can simply stop meeting, the boat is big enough.

All our guests fill out a preference form so that we can fill the kite safari boat based on the individual characteristics of our guests. That's why we don't have any problems with training schedules, music volume, etc.

Sometimes people worry that they will get sick during the safari, but this is an illusion.

The Red Sea is not so shaky and does not raise a big wave that can significantly rock the boat. If that doesn't calm you down, we'll provide you with seasickness pills.

Food during the kite safari will be prepared by our chef and his subordinates throughout the safari, for each meal you will have a buffet where you can choose food to your taste.

Safety during kite safari.

Yes, there are sharks in the Red Sea, yes, kitesurfing is an extreme sport, and we, the Kite Safari team, are adrenaline junkies. But we do not respect the unjustified risk that may lead to injuries or unplanned consequences. We are engaged in kite surfing at kite spots that are surrounded by reefs at a water depth of 0.3-0.6 meters, so sharks cannot physically threaten us. There is also danger when learning to kite surf, but if you follow the safety rules and listen carefully to your kite instructor, learning to kite becomes child's play, everyone can learn kite surfing, we have students from 6 years old to 73 years old. From 25 kilograms to 160 kilograms.
