Luigi is Mario's slightly younger, taller fraternal twin brother and the deuteragonist of the Mario franchise. Throughout his life, he has lived in Mario's shadow, developing both cowardly and heroic tendencies. Despite this, Luigi has helped and fought alongside his brother on many occasions. Mario Bros. marks his first appearance in the Mario franchise and his debut in general. Originally an exact copy, then palette swap of Mario, Luigi was created to facilitate a second-player option. Since the two-player mode was dropped from most main Super Mario games beginning with Super Mario Land , Luigi has gained his own identity and personality, becoming a co-starring character of the Mario franchise. He reappears in a playable role yet again in Mario Kart Tour , where he was made available since the 2019 Halloween Tour as a Super character; like his brother and Metal Mario, the Fire Flower reappears as Luigi's special item. As of January 14, 2020 (PST), Luigi wearing the Penguin Suit (known as Penguin Luigi in-game) is a separate playable character in Mario Kart Tour , being the second High-End Spotlight driver of the Ice Tour and having the Ice Flower as his special item. In addition, Luigi also has another separate character for the Mario Bros. Tour based on his classic look from Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and Super Mario Bros. 2 (appropriately named Luigi (Classic)) which utilizes the Lucky Seven as his special item instead. Additionally, during the aforementioned tour, both Mario and Luigi were also made available as the first two Super Spotlight drivers alongside their respective alternate forms for the first and second weeks of the tour. In the Berlin Tour , another new variant for Luigi wearing traditional German clothes was introduced, known as Luigi (Lederhosen).

In this Team Rally event, which mustache will come out on top? Will Team Mario be No. 1, or will the winner’s podium enjoy some Team Luigi time? No matter which side you choose, you can have fun collecting Team Points across many courses, including new additions N64 Luigi Raceway and SNES Ghost Valley 2; taking on fun challenges; and seeing if you can unlock all the in-game rewards.

Plus, you can look for spotlight drivers in the pipes that just might help your team, like the newly added Luigi (Knight) or the return of Mario (Samurai), Peach (Yukata), and Daisy (Yukata). There are loads of other fun new karts and gliders in the pipes, too. Luigi’s Lucky Seven helps surround the kart with all the items that you have chosen to use during the race. By tapping you can use them all at once.

In a racing game, you will always have to overtake the player in front of you in order to lead. While using Toadette you can bomb them and push them out of the track by using Double Bob-ombs skills. You can also upgrade the skill to drop three bombs at a time, making Toadette one of the best drivers in Mario Kart Tour.

Her base and upgraded skills are all about spitting coins. While on the race track use her skills wisely to overtake and lead the race.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could get both a protective shield and lots of ammo to protect and fire upon the enemy? Dixie Kong’s Triple Bananas allow you to do that. You gain a shield when getting hit by enemy blows and stack up a lot of ammo to fire back at them.

She can spread fire on the racing track when she activates her Fire Flower which significantly slows the enemy. Moreover, she throws fireballs at enemies which can spin and throw them off the track.

His Dash Rings allow him to gain a speed boost that lasts for a certain period of time. In order to use it, you’ll have to pass through the circle to activate the effect. Make sure no one else does as it's only good for a single-use and the enemies can also use it as well.

Red Yoshi’s Egg can help chase enemies and distract them from the track. After the race concludes, you can watch it hatch and also claim the gift. Looking for a bonus gift? Use the upgraded skill to get one more item for free.

Blast your enemies around you with two bombs that launch at the same time. The upgraded one even allows you to launch three at a time!

Well, there’s nothing noteworthy about Baby Rosalina’s skills except for some fancy animations. Her Bubble skill allows her to summon a bubble that rotates around her kart and pops after some time.

Dry Bones’ Triple Green Shell is interesting as they can easily knock out a racer if thrown towards them. Those green shells rotate around the cart and hit instantly when locked on the enemy.

Lemmy’s skills are also the same as Baby Rosalina. You can upgrade them if you want to gain extra movement speed on the bubble.

5 D Tier drivers

Her skills summons bubbles which are pretty much of no use. Her position in this tier is justified as she has no better utility to offer.

Fire Flowers are one of the best skills in the entire game. It has a continuous damage effect on the other racers as you can set the road on fire while shooting fireballs directly at the enemy.

Bowser's Shells are the best obstacles in the game. All you have to do is put it on the track and when a racer steps on it they will get pushed off the track if they can't manage to maneuver their kart properly.

6 Mario Kart Tour reroll guide

Follow the steps below to reroll in-game

• Launch Mario Kart Tour
• Head to the Settings and locate the Start Fresh Button.
• Press the button that says Delete all saved data.
• Once you have done it, wait for a few seconds and let the game restart.
• Log into the game with a new ID and complete the tutorial.
• After the completion of the tutorial, you can obtain three new characters.

Animal Tour

The Animal Tour was the eighty-third tour of Mario Kart Tour , which began on November 16, 2022 and ended on November 29, 2022. It was rerun from November 15, 2023 to November 28, 2023 as the game's hundred-and-ninth tour.

This tour introduced Kitsune Luigi from Super Mario 3D Land as a new driver, as well as a Moo Moo -themed Mii Racing Suit , which players could retrieve by placing high in the tour's ranked cups. Like the Sky Tour , players could also earn Light-blue Shy Guy for placing high in the ranked cups.

This tour also introduced DK Mountain from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Riverside Park from Mario Kart: Super Circuit (the latter of which made its series debut as a classic course ). Various other animal-themed drivers, karts , and gliders were also featured and introduced. This was the first tour since the introduction of Battle Mode in the Battle Tour to not introduce any new battle courses. The Chargin' Chuck Cup debuted in this tour, making this the first tour to introduce a new cup since the 2022 Cat Tour twelve tours prior, even though Chargin' Chuck had been playable since the 2022 Los Angeles Tour and had been available in regular pipes since the May 2022 Peach vs. Bowser Tour .

This tour's Coin Rush course was GCN Dino Dino Jungle , which was reused from the Hammer Bro Tour and the 2021 Autumn Tour . The menu's background featured the volcano from DK Mountain as the landmark for this tour.

Starting in this tour, weekly spotlight items can appear as daily spotlights in the week opposite to the one in which they appear as a weekly spotlight.

The Daily Spotlight contains a mixture of items themed around the tour, items that have ranked tracks as favorites, and gold items. The rates listed are specific for that type of item; drivers, karts, and gliders are selected separately. Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a balloon battle in GBA Battle Course 1 in the Mii Cup using the Cat Mii Racing Suit for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.

The badge for this tour's Today's Challenge is reused from the 2021 Autumn Tour .
