LUKE BRYAN BRINGING HIS FARM TOUR 2022 TO EYOTA, MINNESOTA

Written by tony schultz on april 29, 2022.

Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour started in 2009 to give back to the local farming communities, with proceeds from the tour going to charities and creating scholarships for students of farmers. This year he’ll be bringing it to Eyota, MN which is situated between St. Charles and Rochester along Highway 14. Luke grew up as the son of a peanut farmer and he knows how hard it can be for the American Farmer. Luke even still teaches his kids about a hard day’s work with 15 acres he teaches them to work. The concert will be at Gar-Lin Dairy which is a few miles south of town. It’s pretty cool to have a show this big and with a purpose come to the area. Tickets go on sale May 5th. Luke Bryan Bringing Farm Tour Back To Minnesota + Wisconsin

Luke Bryan isn't slowing down anytime soon! Despite a tour that kicks off later this year, he just announced another handful of tour dates for his annual farm tour! The tour takes him to small towns across the country that he wouldn't usually go to given his superstar stadium status.

He shared the new dates Wednesday morning (April 26th), writing that these annual tour dates are his 'favorite' of the year, which is saying something considering how many cities he goes to every year.

He will be in both Minnesota and Wisconsin for the 2023 Farm Tour. He will be in Brooklyn, Wisconsin on Friday, September 22nd. That show will be at Klondike Farms. The following night, he will be in Eyota, Minnesota, which is about four hours from the Twin Ports at Gar-Lin Dairy LLC.

If you are a member of Luke's fan club, you get presale tickets beginning on Monday, May 1st. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 4th at 10 a.m. He will also be headed to farms in Kentucky, Iowa and Ohio. A portion of proceeds will benefit people in need.

B105 logo

This is the latest thing Luke has added to his already busy schedule! He is on  American Idol  and just extended his Las Vegas residency, with new dates added for August and September. He will also go on a separate tour later this year, which will be headed to Minnesota in October.

Luke will take the stage at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, October 14th. Openers include Chayce Beckham, Conner Smith, Hailey Whitters and DJ Rock. The show will be part of the Country On Tour, which was announced back in January. Hopefully, he gets a nap in before all of these tour dates!

Speaking of tours, we keep track of all the major tours and shows coming to Duluth, Superior and Minnesota in general with our online concert calendar. Upcoming shows include Jon Pardi at Bayfront Festival Park and the annual Grand Country Nights festival in August.

Eyota Luke Bryan concert preparations & information

[anvplayer video=”5136592″ station=”998128″]

(ABC 6 News) – Country music star Luke Bryan is making a stop in Eyota on Saturday as a part of his ‘Here’s to the Farmer Tour.’

Set up started Wednesday for the concert at the Gar-Lin Dairy Farm, where they are used to having more cows than people.

Well, that’s all going to change Saturday, as 20,000 people are expected to attend the concert.

But, how are the farm and the small town of Eyota preparing for the people coming for the show?

“Set up right now is just starting to get rolling. They’re starting to deliver some equipment and it just kinda seems like it will pick up from here on out,” said Dana Allen-Tully of Gar-Lin Dairy Farm.

 alt=

Wednesday afternoon, crews delivered cell towers and portable lights for the parking lot. But, preparation for Saturday’s event began months ago.

Eyota City Council Member Tyrel Clark said, “between the township, Gar-Lin, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, as soon as they heard about it they kinda kicked into gear.”

With this being the first event of this size coming to the small town, local leaders created a detailed plan with the event organizers to get concertgoers to and from the venue safely, while easing traffic as much as possible.

“They know exactly what it takes to make sure that 20,000 people are safe and they let the Olmsted County sheriffs know exactly what they want and at the same time the Olmsted County sheriffs were like this is what you do normally and this is what we need done here,” said council member Clark.

Vehicles coming from the freeway will either be directed to turn right on 40th Street SE in the parking lot or be asked to take a right turn on Knowledge Road and 125th Avenue SE to get to the parking lot.

Cars coming from town will be asked to take that route.

luke bryan farm tour eyota mn

After the concert, cars traveling back towards I-90 will take a left out of the parking lot and another left onto County Road 42.

Those wishing to go north can take either a left or a right out of the parking lot.

Shuttle buses will also be available for the event and a designated walking path will run from 40th Street SE along 125th Avenue SE.

There are also certain things you *can’t bring to the farm.

That list includes:

  • Backpacks and purses
  • Outside food and beverages
  • Glass items
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Video cameras

Things that are allowed:

  • Cell phones
  • Blankets and chairs.
  • Service animals
  • Signs (limited to the size of a half-sheet of poster board)

Gar-Lin Dairy thanks everyone involved in the planning process. “They’ve been fantastic for us to work with. And probably taken on way more than what we have to do at the farm,” said Dana.

With all the stress that goes into planning, she’s excited for Luke to come, and host a tour that honors local farmers. Dana said, “With his success, willing to focus on production agriculture and small communities around America it’s an honor.”

This event speaks to the history of agriculture in the area.

Council Member Clark said, “We started as a stop on the railroad for agriculture, and it’s continued to be a big part of it.”

Luke Bryan will be bringing along with him Riley Green, Jameson Rogers, Peach Pickers, and DJ Rock for the show. The concert starts here at 6 p.m.

Luke Bryan heads to pastures outside of Minnesota for the 2024 Farm Tour

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

May 15—EYOTA, Minn. — After two planned years of Luke Bryan 's Farm Tour in Eyota, the country superstar will not return to Minnesota this year.

His Farm Tour, from Sept. 21 to 28, will include performances in Marshville, North Carolina, Shelbyville, Kentucky, Millersport, Ohio, and Smithton, Pennsylvania. Tickets are available on the Luke Bryan website with the show in Smithton already sold out.

"Time to get your boots and those farmer's tans ready y'all: our 15th #FarmTour will be hitting the fields this fall," Bryan shared in a Facebook post. "I'm excited to bring out Conner Smith, Tucker Wetmore, The Peach Pickers with Rodney Clawson, and DJ ROCK while we party and honor the American Farmer."

The Farm Tour honors farmers and fights hunger in local communities. The shows partner with Bayer and Feeding America to donate meals and raise funds for food banks and local farmers. At the Gar-lin Dairy Farm in Eyota, students from Dover-Eyota Public Schools fundraised with event parking for the Spanish club's trip to Ecuador in 2022. Two years ago, Bryan scheduled six farm shows and in 2023 there were five shows.

The closest Bryan will come to Minnesota on his Mind of a Country Boy Tour is Des Moines, Iowa, on Aug. 24, Chicago, Illinois, on Aug. 25 and Somerset, Wisconsin, on Sept. 5.

Bryan's Farm Tour stop in Eyota was canceled due to weather in 2023. The Farm Tour said in an announcement at the time, "The safety of each of you is our first concern and we do not want to jeopardize that in any way. We love Farm Tour and all of you who support these shows and the American Farmer."

On a cold and windy Saturday in September 2022, Bryan fans grooved with blankets wrapped around themselves. The open field was packed with 20,000 people. He performed hits including "I Don't Want This Night to End," "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day" and "Country On." The Allen family of the Gar-lin Dairy Farm were honored on stage with a check from Bayer.

Bryan also praised Caledonia native Abby Blake for her audition on this season's American Idol. Blake exited the show with a strong performance during Hollywood Week.

Apple confirms plans to work with Google's Gemini 'in the future'

Following a keynote presentation at WWDC 2024 that both introduced Apple Intelligence and confirmed a partnership that brings ChatGPT access to Siri through a deal with OpenAI, SVP Craig Federighi confirmed plans to work with additional third-party models. The first example given by the executive was one the companies with which Apple was exploring a partnership. “We’re looking forward to doing integrations with other models, including Google Gemini, for instance, in the future," Federighi said during a post-keynote conversation.

Elon Musk threatens to ban Apple devices from his companies over Apple's ChatGPT integrations

Elon Musk is threatening to ban iPhones from all his companies over the newly announced OpenAI integrations Apple announced at WWDC 2024 on Monday. In a series of posts on X, the Tesla, SpaceX and xAI exec wrote that "if Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level," Apple devices would be banned from his businesses and visitors would have to check their Apple devices at the door where they'll be "stored in a Faraday cage." While Apple and OpenAI both said that users are asked before "any questions are sent to ChatGPT," along with any documents or photos, Musk's responses indicate he believes OpenAI is deeply integrated into Apple's operating system itself and therefore able to hoover up any personal and private data.

Luke Bryan on How He's Changing His New Tour to Keep Things Fresh (Exclusive)

Luke Bryan at CMA Fest

Luke Bryan is committed to keeping his consecutive Mind of a Country Boy Tour and Farm Tour fresh for his fans.

Luke Bryan  says he will never let his tours get stale!

Talking with ET's Rachel Smith from CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee, over the weekend, the 47-year-old "Love You, Miss You, Mean It" singer said he prioritizes shaking up his shows so that concertgoers aren't getting the same performance they've seen before. As someone who has been performing on tours for years, Bryan knows it's important to put a new spin on the songs fans want to hear.

"We had songs that we did... last year," Bryan shared. "And then we rehearsed them this week for the new tour."

He added, "We have to be careful and not revert back to 2023. That's old news. I mean, this is my year."

For the country singer who has gone out on seven major tours throughout his career, constantly evolving and giving his fans something new is his number one priority. The singer is currently on his Mind of a Country Boy tour and is planning a sudden jump to the Farm Tour in September . His last performance on the former tour is Sept. 14 in Florida and he begins the ladder performances less than a week later in Virginia.

"I like to stay ready," he shared. "I wanna just be like, you call, I'm there. I'm like, you know, Superman in the phone booth."

It's a small price to pay for Bryan, who says he does everything for his fans. Talking with ET, he recalled some of his early years attending CMA Fest and standing outside in the hot sun to sign autographs for as many as eight hours. While looking back on his early career, he said that is one part he does not miss.

Bryan joked that while he loves his fans, if he could have an artificial intelligence [AI] version of him do the grunt work, he absolutely would.

"I let everybody else do stuff for me. I try not to interact with people generally," he joked. "This is actually the AI form of me. The other Luke is, you know, getting his feet rubbed on his tour bus."

Of course, Bryan was joking as he has repeatedly talked about his love for his fans and performing, including at CMA Fest.

Luckily for the country music legend, the performance in Tennessee went worlds better than his April show in Vancouver, Canada, when he slipped onstage after stepping on what appeared to be a fan's phone on the stage, coming down hard on his back.

Bryan hilariously picked himself back up after the now-viral moment and asked the audience, "Did anybody get that?" Being a good sport, he tossed the phone back into the crowd, jokingly adding, "My lawyer will be calling."

He later spoke with ET backstage from American Idol  and shared that while it was speculated that a phone caused his fall, he thinks the cause was actually something else entirely.

"Everybody is reporting [about the] cellphone, but I was kind of hamming that up," Bryan said at the time. "I don't think it was a cell phone. I think it was just slick."

Bryan was one of numerous major artists to take the stage during the CMA Fest at Nashville's iconic  Ole Red  venue for the Spotify House pop-up. The country music event was co-hosted by ET's own Cassie DiLaura and singer Lily Rose, and welcomed artists like   Shaboozey ,  Tanner Adell ,  Dasha ,  Lady A ,  Little Big Town ,  Tyler Hubbard ,  Brian Kelley  and more.

CMA Fest hosted by Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde airs June 25 on ABC.

Lt. Governor Flanagan’s visit to Eyota dairy farm included important announcement

EYOTA, Minn. (KTTC) – Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan took the opportunity Thursday to highlight the hard work of dairy farmers.

Flanagan traveled to Gar-Lin Dairy Farms in Eyota to listen to farmers on the current state of the industry, a few days in to June Dairy Month.

During the stop, the Democrat addressed a recent announcement from Minnesota Board of Animal Health. It reported a herd of dairy cows in Benton County, located in the central part of the state, has come down with a form of avian influenza.

“Our milk is safe and that’s the most important thing that I want Minnesotans to take away from this,” Flanagan said. “We are absolutely managing this, and I am confident that we will be able to continue to navigate through this with our farmers. But Minnesotans, dairy is safe to consume.”

Another topic discussed at Thursday’s tour was the lack of young farmers entering the industry. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the average age of all farmers is 58.

Thom Petersen, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, spoke on efforts currently being taken to incentivize young farmers.

“We built in things like our beginning farmer tax credit within the state,” Petersen explained. “We have our rural finance authority, which makes loans to those farmers, our farm link program that helps connect those next farmers.”

Flanagan also announced she and Governor Tim Walz will soon be traveling to Canada to discuss trade partnerships. Flanagan said Canada is the leading trade partner for Minnesota agricultural products and added that exports in 2023 totaled more than $1 billion.
