This Pad Company is the worst it could possibly be. We had the worst holiday imaginable with them. Never again. Filthy hotel, brought to places l that were not on the agenda. A crazy abusive tour guide. The sound system ob the coach didn't work. Diabolical service. Rotten food. The fact that they are still in business, says a lot about Ireland. Never again. Beware. Stay away.

We have travelled many times on group tours in the past but unfortunately the company we usually book with don't go to Scotland so we decided to try PAB Tours. We experienced a world of difference. We travelled on the first week of July on the Highlands and Islands Tour. First of all we had no Guide and the driver whilst he was a careful driver it was his first time on this trip and he had no knowledge of the places we were visiting or the history or culture of the country. When we first enquired about the Guide he told us we would get one in Scotland which did not happen. We also found it hard to understand why we could not be positioned nearer to the places we were visiting. For example we spent 4 hours travelling from Fort William to Iona and then another 4 hours backtracking to the same hotel. That left us only 1hour and 30 minutes to spend in Iona and see the Abbey which is quite a walk away and slightly uphill. Lucky for us we are fairly fit as only 8 people out of 33 managed to fit it in atall. It was all very rushed and we felt it could have been better organised. The hotels were not the best especially the Croit Anna where we spent most time. The food reminded us of what we might expect in a Nursing home or institution. Small portions thrown onto plates and dished out like school dinners. A lot of people seemed to be seniors so bad choice of hotel as no lift and many stairs to climb. However the staff especially in the dining room were mostly friendly and helpful despite being rushed off their feet and did their best. I'm not sure if the no Guide experience was a one off or normal service as I emailed PAB twice and got no reply which does not seem like a professional way to deal with complaints. However we know from past experience that a Guide is essential to make the trip interesting and enjoyable especially on very long coach journeys. Another thing we noticed after a few days was the driver hadn't mentioned the toilet onboard which is usually there for emergencies and when we queried this he explained that he had a key for it but PAB hadn't paid his company for the toilet. Surely on a long journey this is essential especially for older people. We enjoyed the scenery and made new friends and cherish the memories of the craic we had along the way but needless to add we would not choose to travel with PAB Tours again.

I booked a tour with them last year. They changed the second night's accommodation to a different town (50 miles away) a week before departure and my group found the organisation and standard of accommodation to be poor. I sent a letter of complaint on my return home and received a poorly written reply without a single apology. I will be avoiding in the future.

Best of Ireland (10 Days)

Ally was our tour guide and John our driver. Both excellent in their jobs and lovely human beings. Keeping 45 people happy and enthusiastic is no easy feat but Ally and John were masters of their craft. The hotels were great, the luggage organization exceptional and the food provided top notch. There was time at each stop to allow everyone to feel they could explore at a relaxed pace. We saw things that we would never have found if we were on our own. Would not hesitate to take another tour with Trafalgar.

The Celtic Voyage - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland

The Celtic Tour by Wild N Happy went way beyond my expectations! It was a complete delight to be enlightened by such knowledgeable, native guides of Gaelic Irish culture who authentically could share the stories of the historical unfolding of Irish history. I would only trust driving to the tour guide along those narrow and windy roads to awesome ancient historical landmarks along the amazing western coastline. Our guide knew the best spots to go to, depending on what your desire was to explore in the quaint villages and gave us plenty of time to assimilate. The Tour provided diversity, a well thought-out mix of outdoor and indoor activities, lots of surprising stops along the way, and everyone seemed fulfilled and reluctant to end this highly recommended Celtic adventure!

Wild South - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland

The Wild South Tour was an excellent tour overall, very good value! The guides (Diarmuid and Michael) were great. The add-ons were reasonable and well worth the extra cost. We (my husband and I) especially liked the boat trip to the Skellig Islands. There was a lot of time in the van, but we realized that the best sites were far apart, so the travel was necessary. It was okay. We were so glad to see so many beautiful and memorable sites in very congenial company. I have recommended this tour to friends, with one caveat (see below). However, there was one glaring anomaly: the night and hotel in Cork. Our room at the REZz Hotel is the worst I’ve ever encountered. It was tiny, even too tiny for a single, and unbearably hot with no AC or fan. There was no place to sit (seriously, no chairs at all and only one person at a time could sit on the bed because most of it was blocked by a wall!!). No place to open luggage except on the floor in front of the door. Fire hazard. It all looked and felt dirty and kind of creepy. Totally UNACCEPTABLE! Breakfast featured packaged cookies/bars and half-rotten fruit. I was quite alarmed and worried about the rest of the Wild South tour! Thank goodness this was an anomaly. The rest of our accommodations were excellent — as good or better than the Ashling Hotel for which I paid $300/night for the night before and the night after the tour. I was really impressed with all tour accommodations EXCEPT for the Hotel REZz on that first night. I hope Wild & Happy finds another accommodation in Cork for the sake of future travelers.

Excellent mostly, only concern was lead to believe it was only a small tour group -turned out to be 44 or so.

This was my first time in Ireland. I absolutely loved everything about this trip. Tour guide and bus driver were amazing. Totally worth every penny. Would go back in a heartbeat

The entire trip was wonderful, very well organized, and satisfying. Peter Flood was an excellent tour guide. He was as knowledgeable as could be, funny, and helpful; and really seems to love what he does.

This tour was so good! We experienced more of Ireland than the itinerary indicated (because of stops we made along our journey, which I loved!), but never felt rushed. Our guide Diarmuid is such a professional - he provided us with interesting information about the places we stopped and Ireland in general, kept us on schedule with a relaxed demeanor, and is genuinely a very nice person. I've never traveled with a tour group before and this one couldn't have been any better. The Emerald Isle is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly that, even when there was a bit of rain, it was still fun. Many thanks to Mick and Diarmuid (the best!!) for making this a most memorable trip. PS the accommodations were fantastic - especially the breakfasts!
