North India Revealed

Overall this was a great tour. The accommodations were very basic as expected. The hotel we stayed in Jalsamair was exceptional due to the location high up at the top of the fort. Most of the transportation was adequate. The train ride from Agra to Varanasi was delayed numerous times making it a 24 hour journey.. apparently this is known to happen frequently with this train as our guide mentioned delays before we even left. It was a miserable ride using up a lot of our precious time in Varanasi. Many of us talked about flying back to delhi. I would gladly have payed a little more to have flown instead of this train. Our guide was a great person. She was very personable and fun. She is very young and new to being a guide. I think with a little more experience she will be a great guide. I do feel we missed out on a few things because of lack of information. It would have been nice to have a little more history and information. It also would have been good to do the orientation walks as soon as we got to a new city. We ended up doing a lot of initial exploring when we first got there and then it was repeated on the orientation walk.

Royal Tour of India(Golden Triangle with Rajasthan)

The tours were good. All the guides were lovely in their own way, especially the great photographers/ guides in Agra and Jaipur. Also our driver was AMAZING! We felt safe the whole time. The only downside was some of the hotels we stayed in. The one in Delhi had no hot water! Which was quite hard in the winter.

It was a lifetime experience. India is a beautiful country with amazing culture. With this tour we get to experience real India. We are glad that we booked this tour with Swastik India. Highly recommended.

Rajasthan Experience

The tour was very good except it needed more time with the local people added to it. Like more walks where locals were, free time to roam around where locals were. We were far to protected and experienced many gorgeous palaces and forts but very little street life. Most of the dinners were separate from the local scene also in fancy palace like atmospheres. Some of these were most memorable but local restaurants where Indians ate as well would have been nice. Our time at the beautiful desert hotel could have been reduced by a day we were stuck in the compound of this nice hotel but would have enjoyed the town much more. Our guide said the locals were not used to tourists and there had once been an incident there. Yet 2 78 year olds not on our tour enjoined walking the street there. Jadipur a day Udipur seriously could have used an extra day time at each place.

Colorful India with Taj Mahal & Rajasthan

It was not an expensive tour and some aspects will reflect that. The hotels aren't 4/5 star but they are clean I'd in a bit of disrepair in some situations. My driver Lakhan Singh made me feel safe and cared for which was very important as a solo traveller and I'd recommend him to other solo women. If I wanted roadside chai he'd ask me to stay in the car and he'd bring me the chai so I didn't have to deal with stares or rude questions, and when my tour ran a bit late he checked in repeatedly to make sure everything was ok. The tour guides are a range of skill and experience but they'll be different for every city. My favorites were Nipendra in Udaipur and Bhawani in Jaipur. They customized the tour on the fly for me when I expressed that I wanted different experiences.If I were to do it again the only change I'd make is the length. A day extra in Delhi and Jaipur would have been ideal for me, and while I'm sure the company would have made those adjustments for me, it was my first trip to India and I wasn't expecting to be overwhelmed by the beautiful sights.

Unforgettable 7 Day Guided Golden Triangle Tour of India

We booked the tour thinking it would be a group of 10-12 people but it was a private tour for myself and my friend which gave us more time to explore, more freedom and a chance to get to know our guides better. The tour guides, itineraries and pace of the tour was great and the tour had a good balance of traditional culture and tourist hot spots. The itinerary allowed flexibility to add additional things into our days (henna, zip wire, shopping and trying different restaurants/cuisine for dinner) which added to the experience. Each of the tour guides have their own way of taking your pictures which will leave you with a good laugh and some amazing memories. Hotels were good (we picked the 3* option) and each one included breakfast. The lunch spots were good and the option was always a buffet so there’s something for everyone. This was m my first trip with a company who planned everything and I would definitely use Taj Tours again. The entire process and trio was hassle free and travelling as two females, we felt very safe and well looked after.

India's Heritage Tour - Taj Mahal with Forts & Palaces of Rajasthan

Overall, the tour schedule was good. Our driver Kamal was fantastic, he took us where we needed to go, he knew where he was going, and we had a very pleasant time. My biggest complaint of this tour, and it's big enough to make me wary of other tours such as these and from now on I will make sure to talk with the tour scheduler to find out all the details first and insist on this not happening in the beginning versus waiting until the last few days of our tour where we were already fairly upset about it...too many hours spent each day forced to go shopping!!! At each city, on each day, the guide would take us to 2-3 large expensive shops which were supposed to show us the local trade, but mainly you were there to shop. As someone who wanted to spend time walking around and seeing the culture/taking pictures, I ended up missing a lot of that since it was dark by the time the shopping was done. I understand commerce is important to contribute to the local trade and economy; however, the experience was very uncomfortable and it was not noted in our itinerary that this would be happening. There was a lot of pressure to buy things we didn't need at all. As young people, we are not looking to buy expensive rugs or very expensive gold/jewelry. It would've been nice just to buy a few small inexpensive gifts for family/friends. But overall we spent way too much of our vacation shopping and put in uncomfortable positions to buy things we didn't need or want. The accommodations were definitely 3 stars as stated in the tour, so no real complaints; however, some 3 star places weren't as clean as we would've liked. Our favorite accommodations was in Jaipur and Udaipur.

I just completed a royal tour of India, and I can say without a doubt that it was an unforgettable experience. The Golden Triangle region – which includes Rajasthan – is a beautiful place, and the tour was conducted with the utmost care and precision. Our itinerary included visits to some of the most iconic tourist destinations in Rajasthan, including Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur. Each location was fascinating, and our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about his country and its history. The meals we ate were exquisite, and our hotels were luxurious yet comfortable. I cannot recommend this tour enough – it is an amazing way to see India at its best.

North India Revealed, was an amazing tour. Our guide Sanjeev was really good. Free time is a bonus and though sometimes felt obligated to do what the rest of the group is doing, you can still go off and explore on your own. Watch out for beggars, of all ages including children. They don't take no for an answer. In India they expect tips, I wasn't aware of this but its on 10 Rupiahs which equates to about 2c Australian. Overall a really good trip.

I would rate this tour with 4 stars. My family and I enjoyed our driver, Mr. Mahendra. He got us to all our destinations safely and was a pleasure to talk to during our rides. Our tour guides particularly in Delhi and Jodphur were awesome! We had a different one for every city and they were very knowledgeable about each monument. The reason I am taking away a star is mostly due to the tour operator (Karni). I was disappointed in the communication on his part, especially with the sum we paid for the tour. Our arrival in Delhi was a mess because they switched our hotel and didn’t inform us. We found out the hotel was switched when we arrived to the hotel and had to drive 40 mins to the correct hotel at 2am. We never got refunded for the previous hotel and had to pay for the other one as well. I had also pointed out a mistake in the booking of another hotel, and despite being told it would be fixed, it never was. When we arrived at that hotel, the booking dates were messed up. They did manage to fix it right away, but it should have been resolved when I pointed it out a few days prior. These were the major hiccups, and I’d advise anyone who books to just stay on top of all the hotel bookings and everything beforehand. I’d still recommend the tour, only because the drivers and tour guides had worked very hard to make the trip enjoyable and fun for my entire family.

All passengers complained to conductor but there is no proper response we getting from his side instead he said it’s better than outside you’re standing. I never recommend to travelling with such buses. No doubt some of bus running good but this time it is too worst.

varun pareek 6 months ago My biggest mistake is to choose patel tour and travel. Bad management , staff behaviour is rude. Its feel like your travelling in a local 3 rd class bus with horror experience. Even they charge higher amounts as compared to other days.

Waiting area outside office is very bad and inside office was not good. Needs lot of improvement. See the picture for reference.
