Phoenix Announce Fall Tour Dates

Plus, watch a new video for the band's comeback single, "Alpha Zulu"

Phoenix have announced a fall tour, including shows in North America, the UK, and Europe.

The North American leg takes place between September and October, and includes a mixture of headlining shows and appearances at festivals like Atlanta’s Music Midtown and Austin City Limits. Porches will provide support for the duration of the trek.

A ticket pre-sale goes down Thursday, June 9th (use code DAZZLE ), with a public on-sale following on Friday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Get tickets via Ticketmaster .

The tour’s announcement comes on the heels of Phoenix’s comeback single, “Alpha Zulu.” Speaking of which, the band has revealed a new music video for the song directed by longtime collaborator Pascal Teixeira, as well as Emma Besson and Louis Bes.

Phoenix are currently in the studio finishing up their first new album in five years, the follow up to 2017’s  Ti Amo .

Phoenix announce 2022 tour dates

The french band will hit the road from september..

Phoenix have announced details of an upcoming tour. The Alpha Zulu Tour, which shares a name with the new song the band released last week, will hit North America in September before making its way to Europe in November. Porches will provide support on the North American leg, which begins in Saint Paul on September 6 and includes shows at New York's Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 10 at 10 am local time. See below for the band's full schedule.

In addition to the live dates, Phoenix have also shared the video for “Alpha Zulu,” which was directed by Pascal Teixeira, Emma Besson, and Louis Bes. A press release states that Phoenix are in the studio finishing work on the follow-up to 2017 album Ti Amo .

Two Steps From Hell – Thomas Bergersen & Nick Phoenix – European Tour – Summer 2022

In just over a month Two Steps From Hell ’s European tour will kick off, starting on Monday, June 13, and finishing on Saturday, July 2, 2022, touring countries such as Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland .

After being initially planned for 2020, and having been postponed first to 2021 and finally to 2022 ( read more-1 , read more-2 ), it is comforting to see that the official Facebook account has recently confirmed that preparations are underway, and that their long-awaited European tour will finally kick off this summer.

This will be the first time that the world’s number one epic music producers and composers, Two Steps from Hell , the duo Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix , will offer an official live concert tour in Europe with orchestra, choir, and soloists performing their soundtracks.

Their first and only concert together was in 2013 at the Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles , having a couple of sold-out Two Steps From Hell ’s music concerts at the Film Music Prague Festival 2018 , but only with the presence of Thomas Bergersen ( read summary ).

Now, these two exceptional musicians, with over four billion views on YouTube, one billion plays on other streaming platforms, and four platinum albums, are ready to embark on a UNIQUE European Tour in 2022.

And they will not be alone, as they will be joined by the following artists: Merethe Soltvedt , singer ( and regular collaborator of Two Steps From Hell ), Úyanga Bold , singer ( also a regular collaborator of the band ), Kamila Nývltová , singer ( who participated in the Prague concert in 2018 ), Greg Ellis , percussionist and drummer, Esther Abrami , violin, Helen Nash , solo cellist, Saulius Petreikis , multi woodwind soloist, Eliane Correa , keyboard, Skye Emanuel , electric and acoustic guitar. They will be joined by the Odessa Opera Orchestra from Ukraine and the Polish choir ReChoir led by Wilhelm Keitel .

Bruce Springsteen is relaunching his postponed tour in Phoenix. Here's what to expect

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band return to active duty Tuesday, March 19, in downtown Phoenix with the relaunch of their world tour at Footprint Center.

Hailed in the Washington Post as "a masterclass in the uplifting power of rock-and-roll," the tour was cut short in September on the advice of Springsteen’s doctors, who were treating him for peptic ulcer disease, a potentially serious gastrointestinal condition.

Springsteen issued a statement saying, “Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows. ... We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our US shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon.”

Little Steven: 'We had no idea how much pain he was in'

In an early November interview with USA Today at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, E Street Band guitarist Little Steven Van Zandt said, "I got to tell you the truth, we had no idea how much pain he was in. We were just as surprised as everyone else to learn the extent of his illness. It was remarkable when we found out that he had been in pain for five shows at least. He is just a tough guy.”

Springsteen announced that he was symptom-free on the Nov. 20 episode of his E Street Radio show “From My Home to Yours.”

Since then, he’s performed at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony, the 17th annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit and the New Jersey Hall of Fame induction honoring Patti Scialfa.

He also appeared at the 81st Golden Globe Awards (where he was nominated for Best Original Song for “Addicted to Romance”), alongside Darlene Love to present her with a platinum record for “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” and multiple events at the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music on the campus of Monmouth University in New Jersey.

Springsteen & the E Street Band to play 52 concerts in 2024

Springsteen and the E Street Band will play 52 concerts in 17 countries through late November 2024, starting in Phoenix.

Rolling Stone hailed the opening night of the tour he’s about to resume as  "ecstatic and emotional." Spin called it a  "must-see."

The opening leg of the tour includes 10 U.S. concerts that had to be rescheduled while Springsteen recovered from peptic ulcer disease and a newly added concert at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The remaining rescheduled U.S. dates will take place from Aug. 15 through Nov. 22 following a return to Europe for 26 shows this summer. He’ll also do a hometown performance in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where the E Street Band will headline the Sea.Hear.Now Festival on Sept. 15.

The European tour will follow up a successful trip to the continent last year, which sold more than 1.6 million tickets and earned praise as some of the best shows of the band’s career, Billboard deeming it “the greatest show on Earth.”

Despite the postponed North American dates, Springsteen and The E Street Band’s international run finished third on Pollstar’s countdown of the biggest tours of 2023, with only Taylor Swift and Beyoncé doing better at the box office.

This spring also brings the recently released "Best of Bruce Springsteen" collection, a career-spanning anthology arriving April 19, gathering early-career favorites, live staples, best-selling breakouts and recent releases together for the first time.

Arriving via Sony Music, “Best of Bruce Springsteen” captures a 50-year body of work that has earned him honors and accolades including 20 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, a Tony Award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Kennedy Center Honor and induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Since launching his career with “Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.,” Springsteen has sold more than 140 million records worldwide, including more than 70 million in the United States, becoming the first artist in history with a Top 5 album in six consecutive decades.

His latest album, released in November 2022, is a collection of soul and R&B covers called "Only the Strong Survive."

This is Springsteen's first Phoenix concert since the River Tour

Tuesday’s show at Footprint Center is Springsteen’s first metro Phoenix concert since 2016, when the E Street Band hit Talking Stick Resort Arena (now called Footprint Center) on  the River Tour, revisiting the 1980 masterstroke  that gave the world “Hungry Heart” while topping Billboard’s album chart, a Springsteen first.

White Sox Announce Roster Moves

PHOENIX - Prior to today’s series finale at Arizona, the Chicago White Sox announced the following roster moves:

• Contract Selected from Class AAA Charlotte and Optioned to Charlotte (1): C Chuckie Robinson; • Designated for Assignment (1): OF Duke Ellis.

Robinson, 29, is hitting .234 (34-145) with four doubles, six home runs, 25 RBI and 16 runs scored over 41 games with Charlotte in 2024. He ranks among the International League catchers in RBI (7th) and homers (T7th). Robinson was signed by the White Sox as a minor-league free agent on December 7, 2023.

Ellis, who was optioned to Charlotte on Wednesday, went 0-4 with a run scored and four stolen bases in his first eight major-league games with the Sox this season. He is hitting .250 (32-128) with one homer, 12 RBI, 24 runs scored and 34 steals (36 attempts) in 41 games between Class AA Birmingham and Charlotte.

Following the moves, the White Sox 40-man roster remains at 40.
