Join us on Boston Harbor aboard the M/V Music City Queen on Sunday, July 10th, 2022 for the event of the Summer. The Music City Queen is an ornamental sternwheeler named after the city that sits along the banks of the Cumberland River (Nashville).

The boat will board at 2:00pm and leave the rowes wharf dock for a 3-hour tour around boston harbor with reggae music, dancing and the summer ocean breeze. , attendees can expect not one, but two fantastic reggae bands from new england, raffles, giveaways, voter registration from headcount and more. there will be a full cash bar on board with light snacks and beverages. , participating bands:, over the bridge (otb) is a reggae-rock infused good time jam band with strong hip-hop influences raised by that dirty water on the north shore of massachusetts (gloucester). the boys of otb individually have been making music for over a decade, and together their different influences combine to create a style that is refreshingly original. a modern adaptation of reggae, beach rock, and hip-hop with lyrics that speak tales of the struggle of real life and love., their highly anticipated self titled debut album released in early 2022 at #1 on the itunes reggae charts. following 2021 release singles one by one topping the itunes reggae charts with their last four straight – #5 dreamin’, #7 right back, and #8 apple tree #6 balance. with the album out and live music back in full swing, expect to see new shows across the us, as well as new music projects in the near future., the reflexions are a burlington, vt based reggae/funk band blending world music grooves with conscious lyrics focused on love, equality and justice. the band features a deep groove-based foundation of drums, percussion and bass that are complimented by beautiful textures and hard hitting melodies provided by keys, guitar and a powerhouse horn section. the reflexions bring a big energy to every stage they play and will have you on your feet dancing from the first note to the last drum hit.

Organically Good Trio is a Hammond organ trio with a reggae spin out of Boston. The band has created a new sound among the growing reggae scene and combines a mixture of reggae, soul, and boogaloo. Founded by Slightly Stoopid keyboard player Paul Wolstencroft, the band has a heavy influence from Jamaican organ legend Jackie Mittoo, as well as the classic boogaloo albums of the late 60’s –   Boston Veteran Tommy Benedetti (John Brown’s Body) holds down the steady rhythm of the drums, and Van Gordon Martin, (Dub Apocalypse) blazes rhythms and solos alike on the guitar. Aside from touring the New England scene for the last 5 years, OGT also has 4 albums to date – Alakazam, Monster Sound, Blazin in Brooklyn, and Lunar Dub.

This is a Floating Reggae Party and Sunset Boat Cruise on the Privateer IV out of Gloucester, with a performance by the Dread Rocks and all the way from Jamaica, Kappo Murphy Prince. Special Guest Appearance by Wade Dyce from the 70's Jamaican Super Group Cultural Roots for a set of strickly Bob Marley songs.

Dread Rocks, "New England's Hottest Reggae Act" according to Boston Magazine will be the band on the stand and get the party started with Kappo Murphy Prince for a set of some tight party reggae fever. Reggae Flowing on the top deck, drinks flowing on the bottom deck and everyone will remember a good time.

Dread Rocks..Fiery lyrical deliverance and diverse rhythmic sound cause the mind to think. Heavy drum and bass infused with soul and rock inform the feet to dance. Conscious messages and a vibration of love inspire the heart to open. Yesai Sunset Music Cruise: Climb aboard the legendary Wejack, an iconic Gloucester Fishing Yacht for this special event that's taking place in beautiful Gloucester Harbor.

Yesai is a reggae/rock/hip hop group formed in Boston MA in 2014. They have developed into a tribe with members residing on both the Southern California coast as well as in New England. The band was formed by founder Kevin Fraser after living in the jungles of Puna, Big Island Hawaii for 3 years between 2010 and 2013. Influenced by both reggae, roots and island music as well as rock, classic rock and hip hop growing up in Boston.

Gloucester MA is a port city located on Cape Ann in Essex County, Massachusetts USA. The city has total area approx 108 km2 (42 mi2) and population around 30,000.

Gloucester is part of North Shore, Massachusetts. A major centre of fishing industry and popular summer tourist travel destination, the city consists of urban core (on the harbor's north side) and 8 surrounding neighborhoods (Bay View, Annisquam, East Gloucester, West Gloucester, Folly Cove, Lanesville, Magnolia, Riverdale).

The harbor was once a major shipbuilding centre. The first schooner was allegedly built here in 1713. The settlement developed into a fishing port, largely because of the proximity to Georges Bank (and other fishing banks) off the east coast of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. 

Among the city's most noted landmarks is the harborside statue themed "Man at the Wheel" (aka "Gloucester Fisherman's Memorial Cenotaph").

The largest annual event here (Saint Peter's Fiesta) is held during June's last weekend. The carnival is preceded by a 9-day devotional praying.
