SoCal’s The Aquadolls have announced a co-headline tour with fellow Californians Sitting On Stacy (most recently on the road with the Jonas Brothers). Dates run March 10-April 16, with tickets for all shows on sale now at www.bandsintown.com/theaquadolls . See dates below.

Following a busy summer playing festival dates such as Lollapalooza, Ohana Fest and Beachlife, a supporting stint opening for Jimmy Eat World in Chicago, and the release of their debut Enci Records single ‘Disappearing Girl’, the trio debuted a spirited cover of The Waitresses’ holiday classic ‘X-Mas Wrapping’ which has led to recent spins and appearances on San Diego’s 91X , Sirius XM’s Rodney on the Rock , the long-running Ska Parade and Ted Stryker’s Tuna On Toast Podcast .

The cover was produced by none other than Fat Mike of NOFX and features appearances by Angelo Moore of Fishbone on saxophone and El Jefe of NOFX on trumpet.

This weekend, The Aquadolls will perform with The Bombpops and Sitting On Stacy at the opening night of the Punk Rock & Paintbrushes Sixth Annual Holiday ART Show taking place Saturday, December 11 in Downtown Los Angeles. The exhibition showcases pieces From musicians, professional skateboarders, tattoo artists, photographers, and visual artists including members of The Vandals, Pennywise, NOFX, Strung Out, Flogging Molly and more.

Over the last few months, The Aquadolls have performed live stream sessions on Spin and Paste Magazine and have appeared on outlets such as Flood Magazine, Hollywood Life and LA’s KTLA TV.

About The Aquadolls: The Aquadolls formed in La Mirada, CA in January 2012, by Melissa Brooks, the band’s lead singer and songwriter. Melissa began recording bedroom demos of her songs and eventually released the album ‘We Are Free’ in early 2013, followed by the LP ‘Stoked on You’ in December 2014.

After a brief break from releases, the stars aligned in July 2018, and the new era of The Aquadolls commenced with Jacqueline Proctor on drums and Keilah Nina on bass. The band grew as a powerful threesome leading up to the release of The Aquadolls’ highly anticipated second album, ‘The Dream and the Deception,’ recorded and self-produced by Brooks and self-released October 28, 2018, on Aqua Babe Records.

Following their sophomore album, the trio self-released the single “Suck on This” in summer 2019, followed by their 2020 viral cover of Lash’s “Take Me Away” (a track made famous via its inclusion in the 2003 Lindsay Lohan-starring Disney film ‘Freaky Friday’). The band’s latest single ‘Disappearing Girl’ is out now on Enci Records.

The Aquadolls have toured with the likes of Kate Nash, Jenny Lewis, La Sera and others.

SoCal’s  The Aquadolls  have been announced as the openers on  Incubus’  upcoming summer tour, along with direct support  Sublime with Rome.

Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, March 18 at 10am local time on  INCUBUSHQ.COM .

With more than 23 million albums sold, rock superstars INCUBUS are set to light up summer stages in concert with very special guests SUBLIME WITH ROME and THE AQUADOLLS beginning this July. The tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off in West Palm Beach, FL at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre and continues through the US making stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and more before wrapping up in Bend, OR at Hayden Homes Amphitheatre on September 3rd.

Lead singer and songwriter Melissa Brooks says,  “There was a cool girl in my middle school who was really edgy and I asked her who her favorite band was and she said Incubus. My parents bought me their CD from Walmart and I listen to them everyday. All of the cool kids in high school loved Sublime and so did I. So it is truly an honor to share the stage with the both of them as they have made a major impact on my life. They have help shaped my formative years and my love for rock and roll.”

“Cry Baby” sonically takes inspiration from 1960s pop and the band’s 2013  Stoked On You  era. The Aquadolls recorded this song with  Fat Mike  of  NOFX , bringing a new twist to the classic sound of The Aquadolls.

Brooks says,  “Cry Baby tells the story of an emotional hopeless romantic going to a rock concert and instantly falling in love with the badass guitarist. They imagine what it would be like to be involved with them, even if it’s just for one night.”

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
