AAA Great Vacations Travel Expo

I hope you had a great weekend! This weekend I attended the AAA Great Vacations Travel Expo in Columbus. I always have a serious case of wanderlust, and the travel expo was the perfect place to gather ideas for my next trip! With 150 exhibitors from Ohio, the United States, and international destinations, the AAA Great Vacations Expo helped cure my case of wanderlust for the day!

Walking through the expo center, visitors were able to ask travel experts questions about specific destinations, enter to win trips and goody baskets from tourism bureaus, browse through the AAA Explore Store, play in the sand at the Lake Erie Shores & Islands, walk through nature and partake in a nature scavenger hunt at The Great Outdoors Adventure Area presented by Metro Parks (this was my favorite destination presentation, loved how they brought nature indoors!), dream of a tropical escape at the Sand, Sea & Beyond area, listen to special guest speakers on the AAA Travel Stage, book vacations with AAA travel experts, and so much more! The AAA Great Vacations Expo is the ideal place for Ohio travelers (there is a travel destination for all travelers) to explore travel possibilities from our own Ohio back-yard to far-flung global destinations!

Tasted a delicious sparkling white wine, named Celebration (it might possibly be my new favorite), and spoke with the sweet owner, Melinda, from Put-In-Bay Winery . And I placed a visit to Put-In-Bay and Put-In-Bay Winery on the top of my spring travel list!!

After visiting all 150 exhibitors at the travel expo, I have days of reading material to help me plan many trips throughout Ohio, the United States, and the World!
