Bad Omens Announce Fall 2023 North American Tour

ERRA and I See Stars will support the run

Bad Omens have announced the “CONCRETE FOREVER” North American tour with support from ERRA and I See Stars .

The trek kicks off September 1st in Houston and runs through October 13th in Dallas, hitting major markets around the continent along the way. Bad Omens will also make notable festival stops at Louder Than Life (September 22nd) in Louisville, Kentucky, and Aftershock (October 6th) in Sacramento, California.

An artist ticket pre-sale begins tomorrow (April 4th) at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a Live Nation pre-sale on Wednesday (April 5th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster using the code VINYL . General ticket sales begin Friday (April 7th) at 10 a.m. local time. Alternatively, you can look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

Bad Omens have a busy year ahead as they tour in support of 2022’s The Death of Peace of Mind . Next month, the alt-metal band is set to embark on a shorter May/June US leg with ERRA and Invent Animate surrounding a May 25th appearance at the Sonic Temple festival on May 25th in Columbus, Ohio.

BAD OMENS fall tour kickoff show: See setlist and videos

On the back of their smash 2022 album, The Death of Peace of Mind , Bad Omens have proven to be one of the biggest breakout bands in heavy music of recent years. Last night (September 1st), the group — led by singer, songwriter and producer Noah Sebastian — launched the CONCRETE FOREVER tour, which is completely sold-out and serves as something of a victory lap for the band.

The kickoff show went down at the Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas, with Erra and I See Stars playing in support. The headliners thrilled the nearly 4,000-person crowd with 16 songs, leaning heavily on material off The Death of Peace of Mind , but also throwing in some older cuts, including the first performance of "Broken Youth" since 2019.

Bad Omens Book Late 2022 Tour With Dayseeker, Make Them Suffer + Thousand Below

In support of their new album  The Death of Peace of Mind , Bad Omens will embark on a headlining tour in the U.S. and Canada this fall. It's quite the package too, with Dayseeker , Make Them Suffer and Thousand Below all tapped for support.

Dubbed A Tour of the Concrete Jungle, this run will make 27 stops, beginning in Charlotte, N.C. on Nov. 3 and coming to an end back alongside the east coast in New York City on Dec. 11.

The bands will be putting quite a lot of miles on their buses and/or vans with an ambitious stretch of dates ahead of them as they venture to 20 states and two Canadian provinces, oftentimes with especially long drives between shows.

While Bad Omens will be out promoting their new release, Dayseeker, who will provide direct support each night, will look back through their catalog with 2019's  Sleeptalk being their most recent effort. A 2022 single, however, seems to indicate more may be coming soon. Australian metalcore act Make Them Suffer are still riding high on 2020's  How to Survive a Funeral and San Diego post-hardcore unit Thousand Below, who also issued a new single this year, are expected to play a mix of songs from their two records, the latest being  Gone In Your Wake  from 2019.

Bad Omens are a Los Angeles metalcore band who traffic in punishing breakdowns and anthemic choruses that evoke contemporaries like Bring Me the Horizon and Periphery. Their first album, 2016's Bad Omens, hit the Billboard rock and independent charts, as did 2019's Finding Go Before God Finds Me. The group's high-contrast, pandemic-inspired third album, The Death of Peace of Mind, followed in 2022.

The band was born in 2013 from a handful of solo demos by lead singer Noah Sebastian, who eventually added longtime friends Nicholas Ryan (guitar) and Nick Ruffilo (bass) to the fold. A friend of Riquier's, Joakim "Jolly" Karlsson, joined on guitar, and drummer Nick Folio was added after submitting samples over the Internet. Sumerian Records was impressed with the songwriting on the band's early demos and signed them in 2015.

Bad Omens quickly grew a fan base with singles including "Exit Wounds" and "The Worst in Me." Their eponymous debut landed on the Billboard rock, hard rock, independent, and Heatseekers album charts upon release in 2016. The group hit all the same charts again with 2019's Finding God Before God Finds Me, which climbed to seventh on the hard rock list. Its singles "Limits" and "Never Know" kept Bad Omens in the Top 30 of the Mainstream Rock Airplay for several months in 2020 & 2021. Following a forced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they returned with the triumphant and uncompromising The Death of Peace of Mind in 2022.

The Death of Peace of Mind proved to be a critical and commercial success. Gaining millions of new listeners in part due to the success of 'Just Pretend' on social media, Tik Tok in particular. Following the albums success they have embarked on US and European tours playing over 100 shows in under a year.

Bad Omens entered a new type of “Concrete Jungle” in Houston, TX, over the weekend! The metalcore connoisseurs kicked off their trek on September 1st with a packed setlist — consisting of all your favorite rock hits from the past few years and a handful of surprises.

Bad Omens has earned a reputation as one of the most versatile bands in the metal scene, with the power to switch things up from screamo songs to sexy pop in seconds. And as it turns out, they decided to begin their Houston show on the heavier side. Frontman Noah Sebastian brought out his ski mask for a performance of “ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE,” arguably the track that goes the hardest on their third and latest album, 2022’s The Death Of Peace Of Mind .

And as fans crowd-surfed, moshed, and screamed along to the climactic pre-chorus of “Can you hear me through the white noise?!,” one thing became clear. This Bad Omens tour is going to be insane in all the best ways. The band’s shows have become a meeting ground for both longtime metalheads and modern rock lovers who discovered Bad Omens through their hit single, “Just Pretend,” going viral on TikTok. And the group has consistently made it clear that all are welcome here. As the night went on, Sebastian removed his mask and sang through more rock essentials from the latest Bad Omens album, including “Like A Villain,” “The Grey,” “What Do You Want From Me?,” and “IDWT$.” Effortlessly commanding the stage through every song, his rhythmic growls were on point as he played off his bandmate’s insane energy and enviable guitar skills. Noah Sebastian has quickly become known as one of the most talented vocalists in rock, with the uncanny ability to sing like an angel and scream like a demon. And you’ll see and hear it firsthand at a Bad Omens concert!

The Virginia-bred rockers also played a handful of older tracks for longtime fans, including “Glass Houses, “Never Know,” “Limits,” and “Broken Youth.” In the case of the final song, it was their first time performing it since 2019! Bad Omens has been on a high since the release of The Death of Peace of Mind in early 2022, which has catapulted them to full-blown rock star status and helped them reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart with “Just Pretend".” However, they’ll never forget where they came from…and throughout the night expressed their appreciation for fans from every era. “This might be the biggest headline show we’ve played at least in America, is that true?,” Sebastian said between songs. “I really did not think this s*** was going to work, man, and by ‘this,’ I mean my whole f***ing life,” he continued. “What a ride it’s been. Every tour I ask, ‘how do we keep getting away with this?’, but I will say…I mean this with all sincerity, every single one of you, thank you all so much for making this happen.” Fans continued to cheer adoringly all the way through the encore, which included the downfall of confetti as the band worked through two of their greatest hits, “Concrete Jungle” and “Dethrone.”

The Concrete Forever Tour kicked off with all the metalcore madness, crowd participation, and stellar stage presence that you’ve come to expect from Bad Omens. Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes says ‘Medicine’ is “shit”

Bring Me The Horizon ‘s Oli Sykes has branded their song ‘Medicine’ as “shit”.

The third single of their 2019 record ‘ amo ‘ was heavily played during their tour that year, but has since trickled out of the Sheffield band’s setlists. After being played just 17 times between 2020 and 2022, the song has not been performed since.

Now, Sykes has shed light onto the reason why at the band’s recent show in Germany. Playing at Hurricane Festival in Scheeßel, he asked the crowd what they wanted to hear next.

When a festivalgoer shouted out ‘Medicine’, he replied: “‘Medicine’? Are you guys all right? You’re good, you’re good, right? You guys would like to hear ‘Medicine’? Even I think that song is shit.”

Sykes did offer some alternatives such as ‘Pray For Plagues’, ‘Chelsea Smile’ and ‘Don’t Look Down’. Watch the moment below:

At the same show, the band brought out Sykes’ father Ian to duet ‘Antivist’ , with the frontman saying: “Make some noise for the coolest dad in the world!”

Ian is the latest guest vocalist on ‘Antivist’, with members of  Bad Omens  and  Sleep Token  having also previously provided support on the track while Bring Me The Horizon toured the UK and Australia.

The frontman  recently spoke to  NME   from the band’s HQ in Sheffield fresh off releasing their latest album, ‘ Post Human: Nex Gen ’. It marked the second album in their ‘Post Human’ series, the first, ‘ Survival Horror ’, was released in 2020, and ‘Nex Gen’ was surprised released  last month after multiple delays.

The band  initially planned to release four ‘Post Human’ EPs in a year , but changed upon lockdown lifting: “We thought we were going to be in lockdown for a lot longer than we were. We thought we could bang out a few EPs in that time. We also thought these EPs were going to be a little more humble and a bit of fun.”

In other news, Bring Me The Horizon have spoken about working with AURORA on ‘Limousine’, and how it was nearly someone else.
