Vancouver to Whistler

Welcome to the Pacific Coast and the start of your trip! Not many cities can claim fusing big-city living with the great outdoors, but with its skyscrapers, beaches, forests and mountains, Vancouver has somehow nailed that perfect mix. We'll cruise along the glorious clifftop Sea to Sky Highway in search of Whistler. How’s that fresh mountain air? The rugged, handsome landscapes of Whistler are gorgeous all year long, from the ancient mountain peaks to the alpine hiking trails. Dinner’s on us tonight – make sure you rest up, because adventure is on the cards all day tomorrow.

  • Meals Included:

Come winter, Whistler may be a haven for snowbunnies, but when the weather is warm, it’s activity central. Test your Popeye strength by canoeing along the River of Golden Dreams, zipline over churning rivers or take a hike through scenery that puts most postcards to shame. If you’re feeling lazy, take a gondola or a chairlift to the mountain tops, but don’t forget to explore the village itself – you’ll melt at its cuteness.

Whistler to Sun Peaks

We're headed out of Whistler to the largest ski area in Canada, Sun Peaks. Along the way we'll enjoy a scenic drive through the Lillooet Mountain Range, admiring the various reservoirs and lakes that sparkle in the wintry sun. Welcome to Sun Peaks! This elegant little village will be our home for the night. Why not take a gondola ride between the two peaks, to soak up those glorious panoramas?

Sun Peaks to Jasper via Mount Robson

Well rested, we'll take in some incredible scenes on our drive this morning, and you might even see the highest point in the Rockies if weather permits. Eating outdoors is essential in these parts, so feel free to grab some lunch and dine against a beautiful backdrop. And then the outdoors is yours to explore. Want to take the adrenaline levels up a notch? Get involved with our optional white-water rafting experience on the Fraser River. There's nothing like a rafting adventure to confirm that there is no 'I' in team. Jasper will be your home for the next two nights – convenient really, considering it’s the perfect base to explore the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies.

Rise 'n' shine - it's time to get out there with an easy hike though Maligne Canyon. Towering limestone walls will watch over us as we take in the scene, making our way across bridges to the thrilling soundtrack of rushing water. Nature goals achieved, we'll jump on the coach and head to Maligne Lake, famous for the azure colour of its water, and today we’ll show you why. Drink in the beauty of the surrounding snow-capped mountains from the shore, or take an optional cruise out to iconic Spirit Island, the most photographed image in the Rockies - we'll bet you know the one. A truly special experience awaits us tonight – we’ll be joined by the Warrior Women for a fireside chat.

Jasper to Banff

On our way to Banff today, you’ll be glued to the windows as we pass the waterfalls, lakes, meadows, glaciers and towering mountains that make up the Columbia Icefield Parkway. Take a walk to the Athabasca Falls, wheel across the Athabasca Glacier on the Ice Explorer, and cure that cotton-mouth with a drink of pure H2O – just be careful not to stick your tongue to the ice... Peyto Lake and Lake Louise (you're sure to have seen these on Instagram) are the perfect place to snap your next profile pic, and make sure those eyes stay peeled for wildlife. We’ll roll into Banff – the unofficial capital of the Canadian Rockies. You’re in cowboy country now, and who are we to buck tradition? Saddle up for a round of drinks before dinner and check into your chalet.

Today kicks off with Canada’s ultimate mountain experience. Standing on the suspension bridges of Mt Norquay Via Ferrata, you’ll feel alive, emotional and a little dizzy all at once. There’s loads more on the menu today in Banff: take a heli-tour of the high country or choose to explore on horseback.

Banff to Vernon

Marvel at the change of scenery today as we cut through three national parks on our way to Vernon.  First up is Yoho National Park with its valley of waterfalls and meadows, and home to the amazing engineering feat - the Spiral Train Tunnel. Next up is Glacier National Park, which boasts over 400 (wait for it) glaciers (surprise) and Rogers Pass. Lastly we’ll drive through scenic Mt. Revelstoke National Park. After cramming three national parks into one day, you deserve a hearty meal in Vernon. There's plenty of traditional pubs in town, and they'll be able to help you out on the beverage front as well.

Vernon to Vancouver

We’re sure you’ll agree that meandering through Canada's wine country – the famed Okanagan Valley - is a great way to kill time on the drive back to Vancouver. It's time to see everything of this magical metropolis that you missed the first time around, we'll treat you to a whirlwind tour of the historic sites. Vancouver’s downtown is world class, and its locals take immense pride in its multiculturalism. Stop for pics at the city's nine Totem Poles - these colourful carved sculptures stand tall in Stanley Park and are a must-see sight that were gifted to Vancouver City. Get out there and get local, do some boutique shopping or even rent a bike and explore the city on wheels.

A hidden grassroots art scene, eating adventures in abundance, and a pretty seaport setting - your free day in Vancouver will not be short of magic. If the galleries and cute cafes get old, roam one of the city's many parks or gardens or find a spot to take in the surrounding mountain vistas. Top off the day with a dinner cruise and your Vancouver experience is whole and complete.

End Vancouver

All good things must come to an end, and so does our alpine adventure this morning. We wish you all a fond salute and bon voyage. We hope we'll be seeing you again soon.

  • Day 1 Seattle to Kamloops
  • Day 2 Kamloops to Yoho National Park to Banff National Park
  • Day 3 Banff National Park to Lake Louise to Banff National Park
  • Day 4 Banff National Park to Jasper National Park
  • Day 5 Jasper National Park to Clearwater BC
  • Day 6 Clearwater BC to Whistler
  • Day 7 Whistler to Vancouver to Seattle

Seattle to Kamloops

We kick things off from Seattle, departing early this morning with Kamloops British Columbia locked in our sights. Keep your eyes open for elk, bears, cougars and more as a whole host of wild and wonderful creatures call Thomson River Valley home. As we venture deeper into the gorgeous Canadian wilderness, we’ll stop for a short walk and a bite to eat at the Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park. Here we’ll be treated to low elevation valleys and perfect mountain views as the waterfalls create a veil-like mask over the smooth rock face. With the first day drawing to a close, there’s nothing left to do but set-up camp and update your Instagram.

Kamloops to Yoho National Park to Banff National Park

Day two takes us to the magical Yoho National Park. Here we’ll laze by the perfect Emerald Lake, which is framed by towering mountains and colossal pine trees. To take one look at this paradise is to understand why Yoho means awe and wonder in its native language, Cree. Feel free to walk the lake or sit back and bask in its beauty from the shoreside cafe. Back on the road, we travel along the Kicking Horse Pass across the Continental Divide into Alberta. The drive takes us to Rogers Pass where we’ll soak in the sights of peaks looming 3,000 metres above sea level. Onwards, we arrive at Banff for sunset and some authentic alpine nightlife.

Banff National Park to Lake Louise to Banff National Park

Today we discover Banff National Park and the stunning, glacier-fed waters of Lake Louise. The morning’s yours to explore this natural playground, so keep your camera handy and your wonder flowing. Canoe on the crystalline waters, hike along a variety of trails, or sit back and skim rocks from the shore. Come afternoon we leave Lake Louise to pay a visit to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. If the air seems thinner here it’s because we’re at an impressive 1,884 metres above sea level. What better place for some truly astonishing views?

Banff National Park to Jasper National Park

Prepare to be blown away because we’re spending today cruising along the winding Icefields Parkway. We’ll stop periodically to explore all the best bits like Bow Glacier and Peyto Lake, so there’ll be ample opportunity for a picture or twenty. Along the way, we’ll discover a constant stream of vistas, jagged mountains, plenty of glaciers, and perhaps some wildlife if we’re lucky. Those who fancy it can take an optional helicopter ride over the Columbia Icefield and the truly brave amongst us can don a pair of crampons and wander onto the Athabasca Glacier. It might be chilly out here, but the memory of today will keep you warm forever.

Jasper National Park to Clearwater BC

Jasper awaits with the rising sun and we’ve got the entire day to explore it. The largest national park in Canada, Jasper is home to snow-capped summits, stretching wilderness, shimmering lakes, and towering mountain peaks. Hike or bike on a number of exhilarating tours, visit Miette hot springs, or try to snap a few shots of the local wildlife. Once we’ve had our fill, we’re back on the road for an evening drive along the Yellowhead Highway. This impressive stretch of road hugs the North Thompson River all the way to Clearwater BC, where we’ll be spending the night.

Clearwater BC to Whistler

Today we venture to the gorgeous, pine-covered peaks of Whistler! We’ll set-up base in a cosy resort nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain before heading out into the park for hikes, breath-taking sights and adventure. The entire day is yours to explore this spectacular wonderland. Wander the adorable local town, home to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Get cosy in a local cafe or take a stroll into the wilderness. After dinner indulge in a cocktail by a cosy fireplace.

Whistler to Vancouver to Seattle

Our final day begins by driving the Sea to Sky highway towards bustling Vancouver. We’ll have some time to explore the city, including the waterfront, Gastown, Chinatown, and Stanley Park. There’s more than plenty to see and do in this diverse, colourful city and your guide will be nearby to recommend all the best bits. You can choose to say your goodbye’s here, or finish in Seattle, the final stop on this truly epic adventure. Our fantastic tour ends in the evening and we say our teary farewells, having broadened our horizons and accepted a little piece of the Canadian wilds into our souls.

Los angeles dodgers at colorado rockies odds, picks and predictions, share this article.

The Colorado Rockies (26-48) welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers (46-30) to Coors Field Thursday for the finale of their 4-game series. First pitch is set for 3:10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s  lines around the Dodgers vs. Rockies odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Dodgers lead 4-2

The Dodgers won the 1st 2 games of the series 9-5 and 11-9, covering in both, but lost 7-6 Wednesday. They are 22-15 on the road and have won 5 of their last 7 road games. Los Angeles hasn’t been able to put together any type of lengthy streak lately and is 5-5 over its last 10 games. The Dodgers are 38-38 against the spread (ATS).

The Rockies used a 3-run 1st inning to bounce ahead in Wednesday’s game and then won the 6-6 game in the bottom of the 9th. They are 15-21 at home and snapped a 3-game losing streak with the win. They are just 2-5 over their last 7 and have failed to cover in each loss. Colorado is 35-37 ATS.

Dodgers at Rockies projected starters

RHP Gavin Stone vs. LHP Ty Blach

Stone (7-2, 3.01 ERA) makes his 14th start. He has a 1.21 WHIP, 2.8 BB/9 and 6.8 K/9 in 74 2/3 IP.

  • Last start: No-decision, 7 IP, 3 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 3 K in 4-3 home win over the Kansas City Royals Friday
  • 2024 road splits: 4-1, 2.83 ERA (28 2/3 IP, 9 ER), 1.19 WHIP, 2 HR, 6.9 K/9 in 5 starts
  • Career vs. Rockies: 1-0, 0.00 ERA (5 IP, 0 ER), 1.20 WHIP, 10.8 K/9 in 1 start, a 4-0 home win on June 2

Blach (3-4, 4.65 ERA) makes his 9th start. He has a 1.41 WHIP, 1.6 BB/9 and 4.8 K/9 in 50 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: Win, 5 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 7 H, 1 BB, 5 K in 16-4 home win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Saturday
  • 2024 home splits: 3-2, 3.76 ERA (38 1/3 IP, 16 ER), 1.33 WHIP, 4 HR, 4.5 K/9 in 8 appearances (6 starts)
  • Career vs. Dodgers: 4-3, 3.13 ERA (77 2/3 IP, 27 ER), 1.24 WHIP, 5.2 K/9 in 20 appearances (9 starts)

Dodgers at Rockies odds

Provided by FanDuel Sportsbook ; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 9:31 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML) : Dodgers -220 (bet $220 to win $100) | Rockies +184 (bet $100 to win $184)
  • Run line (RL)/Against the spread (ATS) : Dodgers -1.5 (-146) | Rockies +1.5 (+122)
  • Over/Under (O/U) : 12 (O: -112 | U: -108)

Dodgers at Rockies picks and predictions

Dodgers 8, Rockies 3

The Dodgers are the far better side and have a strong starting pitcher on the mound. Expect them to come out on top. At -220, there’s no value in betting on it though.

Run line/Against the spread

BET DODGERS -1.5 (-146) .

The Dodgers are 16-13 ATS following a loss and have covered in every win against the Rockies this season. Los Angeles has covered in 3 of its last 4 wins and in 3 of Stone’s last 4 starts.

Meanwhile, the Rockies haven’t lost by just 1 run since May 23, 15 start multi-run losses. They have failed to cover in 7 of their last 10 games as well. That said, assuming the Dodgers win with the far better option on the mound, there’s a strong chance they cover.

Despite the odds, take DODGERS -1.5 (-146) . You could also consider the Dodgers at -2.5, which is -108 at FanDuel and +100 at BetMGM.

BET UNDER 12 (-108) .

The Dodgers have gone Over in 3 straight, but are 4-4 O/U in their last 8 and have gone Under in 3 of Stone’s last 4 starts, allowing 3 or fewer runs in all 4 of those. The Rockies-Dodgers series has gone Over in all 3 games. Prior to that for Colorado, it was 3-4 O/U in its last 7 and has scored 2 or fewer in 4 of those.

In Blach’s last 5 starts, the Rockies have allowed 19 runs. Both teams have good starting options, and considering all 3 prior games have gone Over, expect the streak to snap and take UNDER 12 (-108) .

Tour overview.

If lush landscapes are enough to bring a tear to your eye, then British Colombia & Alberta will see you weeping. We'll start in the charming village of Whistler, weaving on to the likes of the Lillooet Mountain Range, Jasper, & Banff, before finally landing amongst the cool vibes of Vancouver. With the addition of a few nights in Calgary, this is the complete Canadian experience.

3 Dinner (D)

8 Breakfast (B)

1 Lunch (L)

Whistler: Ski, snowboard, walk, toboggan, or just party at the ‘apres-ski’ in this legendary winter resort.

Jasper: Snow-capped peaks and turquoise lakes guaranteed. And you might even spot a grizzly bear or coyote

Whistler: Snow-topped mountains, aquamarine lakes and the occasional grizzly bear are all familiar sights on this epic road trip.

Mount Robson: It’s a photogenic, snow-capped beauty. And the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Rocky Mountain National Park: Everything you’d expect from a picturesque drive through Canada. Cruise past rolling hills, lush forests, looming snow-dusted mountains and the occasional elk.

Canadian Rockies: Because epic mountain ranges and better with food… and food is better with views of an epic mountain range.

Jasper National Park of Canada:

Jasper: Marvel at the azure waters and enjoy Insta-perfect views of the Rocky Mountains. This is why we travel.

Banff: Wrap up warm and see this hunk of ice in all its sparkling glory. Don’t forget to fill a bottle with glacial water.

Banff: All year round you’re guaranteed epic views and soul-cleansing mountain air.

Banff: Can anything make you feel more alive than turquoise lakes and snow-topped mountains? We think not.

Banff: Cameras at the ready, folks! On our first day, we’ll visit Canada’s first ever National Park – known for its colourful lakes and beautiful mountains.

Vancouver: Fill up your Insta feed with pics of this first nation’s art installation. We love it!

Vancouver: Probably one of the most naturally beautiful cities in the world. Vancouver’s got beaches, mountains and rainforest right on its doorstep.

Vancouver: This spot is so beautiful it’ll make you want to switch off your phone and just ‘be’ (after taking some pics of course).

Jasper National Park of Canada: Insightful chats, informal setting... time to gather round the campfire for a truly unique MAKE TRAVEL MATTER(R) experience.

Not what you're looking for?

People that have booked this tour have also searched for the following:

Day 1: Vancouver To Whistler

Location: vancouver, whistler, accommodation: pangea pod hotel (multi-share), meals included: dinner.

Welcome to the Pacific Coast and the start of your trip! Not many cities can claim fusing big-city living with the great outdoors, but with its skyscrapers, beaches, forest and mountains, Vancouver has somehow nailed that perfect mix. We'll cruise along the glorious clifftop Sea to Sky Highway in search of Whistler. How’s that fresh mountain air? The rugged, handsome landscapes of Whistler are gorgeous all year long, from the ancient mountain peaks to the alpine hiking trails. First up though, stretch out those legs for an optional zipline on the 'superfly'. One of the world's best, do it alone, or jump in a tandem with a buddy - after all 102km an hour is not for the faint hearted. Dinner’s on us tonight – make sure you rest up, because adventure is on the cards all day tomorrow.

Day 2: Whistler

Location: whistler, meals included: breakfast.

Day 3: Whistler To Sun Peaks

Location: whistler, sun peaks, accommodation: sun peaks lodge (or similar).

Day 4: Sun Peaks To Jasper

Location: sun peaks, mount robson, jasper, accommodation: athabasca hotel (or similar), meals included: lunch.

Well rested, we'll take in some incredible scenes on our drive this morning, and you might even see the highest point in the Rockies if weather permits. Eating outdoors is essential in these parts, so we'll load you up with a picnic lunch against a beautiful backdrop.

Day 5: Jasper

Location: jasper.

Later, we'll leave you to your own devices to explore the cute town of Jasper.

Day 6: Jasper To Banff

Location: jasper, banff, accommodation: tunnel mountain resort (multi-share).

Day 7: Banff

Location: banff.

Today kicks off with Canada’s ultimate mountain experience. Standing on the suspension bridges of Mt Norquay Via Ferrata, you’ll feel alive, emotional and a little dizzy all at once. There’s loads more on the menu today in Banff: hop on a gondola up Sulphur Mountain, take a heli-tour of the high country. At night, choose to toast the moon with a horseback ride through the back-country complete with a fire-cooked meal to round off the day.

Day 8: Banff To Calgary

Location: banff, calgary, accommodation: days inn calgary northwest (or similar).

Catch you later, Banff - Calgary, we’re on our way. This sun-soaked city in Alberta is known for its close proximity to the Canadian Rockies, a thriving art scene, delicious food, a ‘wild west’ heritage and much, much more. We’ve got some time on our hands today, so feel free to check out the Calgary Heritage Park, enjoy a craft beer, or try visiting Calgary Tower for a 360 degree view of the city, foothills and the spectacular Rocky Mountains.

Day 9: Calgary

Location: calgary.

Today is all about seeing and experiencing the very best of this world renowned ‘Cowtown’. Grab your cowboy hat (mandatory), your frayed chaps (optional) and let’s hit the town. There’s plenty of things to choose from for today’s action, from mechanical bull riding, to horseshoe toss games, or line dancing with the locals. Bars, restaurants, mock gun fights and country bands will keep the action going long after the sun goes down. We’ll be in town during the Calgary Stampede, however tickets to the show are not included, but can be purchased by going to www.calgarystampede.com.

Day 10: Calgary To Vernon

Location: calgary, vernon, accommodation: days inn vernon (or similar).

With cloudy heads and western spirits on high we'll leave Calgary in our dust this morning. Keep those eyes to the horizon as today's drive to Vernon promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Wild, rugged and impossibly beautiful, our drive through Yoho National Park will see heads swivelling in every direction as you struggle to take in the incredible landscape of waterfalls, meadows the the ice blue Kicking Horse River. Hitting the second out of the three national parks we see today we stope in Revelstoke and then on to stunning Glacier National Park.

Day 11: Vernon To Vancouver

Location: vernon, vancouver, accommodation: hotel belmont (twin-share).

Tonight, give your ears a treat with some live music in the alleys of Yale Town.

Day 12: Vancouver

Location: vancouver.

Day 13: End Vancouver

All good things must come to an end, and so does our alpine adventure this morning. We wish you all a fond salute and bon voyage. We hope we'll be seeing you again soon.
