The 11 th Country Music Cruise has announced the exciting lineup for the 2025 sailing with some of music’s biggest names performing January 19 – 25 aboard Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam ship. John Michael Montgomery, who recently announced his farewell tour, will hit the World Stage along with Deana Carter, The Bellamy Brothers Diamond Rio, Neal McCoy, Home Free, and more. The seven-day cruise will depart from Ft. Lauderdale and make stops in Key West, Cozumel, and Costa Maya.

The Outlaw Country Cruise is setting sail for its ninth year. The 2025 voyage will launch Feb. 22 and run through Feb. 28 with performances from Old Crow Medicine Show , John Hiatt , Lucinda Williams , Steve Earle , Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore with the Guilty Ones, and more. This will mark the first Outlaw Country Cruise since the death of the ship’s regular emcee and performer, Mojo Nixon , who died during February’s cruise.

Below are 11 music-themed cruises in 2024 and 2025 that are bound to create epic memories, whether your vibe is crowd-surfing during a rock show or belting out show tunes with Broadway's best.

Set to take over all decks of Holland America 's Nieuw Amsterdam, the '50s and '60s music cruise will sail from Fort Lauderdale to Phillipsburg, St. Maarten, and Tortola, British Virgin Islands, with four days at sea.

Favorites set to perform on board include The Beach Boys, The Four Tops, Chubby Checker, The Coasters, Darlene Love and The Chantels. Highlights among the ship events range from a senior prom and a sock hop to game shows and karaoke.

Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise

Cruise ship : Independence of the Seas Date : Dec. 9-14, 2024

Maybe one stop in Jamaica isn't enough, and reggae vibes are calling your name. If so, the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise might appeal to you. This five-night cruise on Royal Caribbean 's Independence of the Seas, organized by Jamrock Productions and Rose Tours, will travel round trip from Miami to Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.

The entire list of performers for the December 2024 voyage hasn't been released as of this writing but so far will include Stone Love, Steelie Basement, Westafa, Seani B and Spexdaboss.

You can also take part in themed parties, soccer and domino tournaments and Jamaica-themed film screenings when you're not enjoying ship amenities like a FlowRider surf simulator, a rock climbing wall, waterslides and a bar arcade.

Cruise ship : Carnival Magic Date : Jan. 19-25, 2025

For fans of rock and metal music, ShipRocked is a popular sailing organized by Ask4 Entertainment. The 2025 edition aboard Carnival Cruise Line 's Carnival Magic will start in Miami and include stops in St. Thomas and Half Moon Cay, the line's private island in the Bahamas.

There will be multiple stages for performances throughout the ship. The 2025 lineup will be announced soon, though top bands like Dead Poet Society, Black Stone Cherry, Highly Suspect and I Prevail performed during past cruises. Fans can enjoy one-on-one time with their favorite groups at scheduled meet-and-greets with all the bands.

Prices for ShipRocked's 2025 cruise start at $1,600 per person for an inside cabin. The fare includes access to all performances and meet-and-greets with artists.

Groove Cruise

Cruise ship : Allure of the Seas Date : Jan. 23-27, 2025

Electronic dance music fans 21 and older can turn up on this early 2025 Whet Travel sailing from Miami aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. The cruise visits Falmouth, Jamaica.

The lineup includes major headlining acts Eric Prydz, James Hype, Meduza and Nicole Moudaber, plus a remarkable list of performers, such as Aimmia, Cristoph, Crystal Skies, Dada Life, James Kennedy, Mitis and Pretty Pink.

Along with multiple music sets, Groove Cruise hosts fun theme party nights focusing on everything from an '80s prom to fire and ice.

And when we say "music," we're not talking about a small acapella group singing in the atrium or a pianist accompanying the dinner rush. We're looking at big-scale, well-organized, fabulous shows featuring acts so good you may get goosebumps. Whether they sing like angels or play a mean guitar, the musicians on these cruises will make your journey one you'll likely wish to repeat.

We consulted a ton of online reviews to ensure the cruises we mention on this list will live up to the hype. In addition to boasting talented performers, we searched for ships that were loaded with fun amenities, good concert venues, great food, and interesting ports of call. There's little worse than being stuck on a boat with nowhere to go, nothing to do, and nothing decent to munch on. That's why we made sure to do a deep dive, researching each cruise company to ensure they would fit the proverbial bill.

We also contacted music cruise organizers like Sixthman and StarVista LIVE to enquire about future dates. They told us that next year's cruise dates are announced during the current cruise, so there are no definitive dates until that time. They did, however, mention that the following year's cruises should take place around the same time.

Country Music Lover? Princess Just Made a Big Announcement!

If you’re a country music fan, listen up! Soon you’ll be able to head out to sea and enjoy some great country sounds on Princess Cruises.  That’s because “The Love Boat” line recently announced an exclusive new country music partnership with the Academy of Country Music  (ACM).

The partnership kicked off last month at the 59th ACM Awards Show hosted by Reba McEntire. Princess celebrated country music’s party of the year at the ACM Awards’ red carpet. The line interviewed artists and nominees live from the Princess Stage.

Country Music: By Land and Sea 

So, what’s happening by land and sea moving forward? On land, Princess Cruises will be the presenting sponsor for the recently introduced “ ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge ” series. That gets under way at the Academy’s Headquarters in Nashville this summer. Those exclusive performances will introduce viewers to new and emerging country artists.

At sea, guests aboard future Princess voyages (dependent on ship and itinerary) will have the opportunity to listen to special performances from country music artists who perform at the Red Barrel Lounge.

“Princess is incredibly proud to partner with the ACM and to showcase the next big country stars,” says John Padgett, president, Princess Cruises.

“Country music has a special place in the hearts of many of our guests,” he emphasizes. “This partnership allows us to bring unparalleled experiences onboard to combine that love for cruising and country music in a unique and memorable way.”

Country Music: Spreading the Love

In addition, “The Love Boat” line will be on site at the ACM Honors in August. That event celebrates special award honorees, off-camera category winners and the ACM Industry and Studio Recording Awards.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1964, the ACM is still the oldest Country Music awards show. In 2022, it became the first major award ceremony to exclusively livestream on Amazon Prime.

The Princess partnership is one element of the ACM’s vision for the future. One top goal is to improve lives by connecting fans, artists, and the industry. Today, the ACM is dedicated to promoting new artists, artists on the rise and established superstars.

Another 17-day voyage roundtrip from Seattle features three days of glacier viewing plus charming ports such as Wrangell and Valdez.

What’s Coming to Disney Experiences in 2024 and Beyond

“It’s something that will never be finished. Something that I can keep developing, keep plussing and adding to. It’s alive. It will be a live breathing thing that will need change.”

Walt Disney’s words about Disneyland have remained a guiding principle for the Disney Experiences segment since they were first uttered roughly 70 years ago. The summer of 2024 is just the latest example of Disney expanding its present and building towards a great, big, beautiful tomorrow.

Here’s a look at some of the latest Disney Experiences developments from all around the globe:

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

On June 28, guests at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida will return to the New Orleans of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Princess and the Frog to float along on a musical journey in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure .

The all-new attraction picks up after the events of the 2009 film, where visitors experience an adventure through the bayou as Princess Tiana prepares to host a Mardi Gras celebration.

Guests will encounter dozens of technologically advanced Audio-Animatronic figures during their ride, including beloved characters like Princess Tiana, Louis, and Mama Odie, along with new critters and characters. New arrangements of songs from the film — and a new original tune — will serenade guests as they make their way towards a 50-foot drop.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also open later this year at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California.

Fantasy Springs

Fantasy Springs — the eighth themed port at Tokyo DisneySea Park — welcomes guests on June 6.

It brings to life new areas inspired by three of Disney Animation’s most beloved films — Rapunzel’s Forest from 2010’s Tangled , Peter Pan’s Never Land from 1953’s Peter Pan , and Frozen Kingdom from the 2013 blockbuster, Frozen .

Fantasy Springs finds itself nestled between Tokyo DisneySea’s Lost River Delta and the Arabian Coast areas and the new port will be an entryway for guests into the magical worlds of these films.

Each will include innovative attractions, stunning restaurants, and the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.

Setting Sail

Disney Cruise Line is looking to bring enjoyment to guests by sea and by land this year.

In June, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point , Disney Cruise Line’s newest tropical retreat opens on the island of Eleuthera, The Bahamas.

The destination celebrates the rich culture and natural beauty of The Bahamas, with signature Disney entertainment, port adventures and nature trails, a water play area and beautiful beaches, including a dedicated beach for adults. The retreat will feature a plethora of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

As Disney Cruise Line looks to add three new ships to its fleet through 2025, its latest vessel, Disney Treasure , is also set to take its maiden voyage on December 21.

Reimagined Classics

One of the very last attractions that Walt Disney personally helped develop, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree , is undergoing a refresh that will open this summer.

While the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will include call backs, the bears will sing new, reinterpreted Disney tunes in different genres of country music – like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly and other styles.

On May 24, Disneyland Resort guests will once again be able to enjoy the dazzling special effects of Fantasmic! As the beloved show makes its epic return.

And on June 10, EPCOT at Walt Disney World will welcome guests to CommuniCore Hall and Plaza . The Hall and Plaza are flexible multi-use event spaces that bring exhibitions, entertainment and even more culinary delights to the center of EPCOT.

Fan-Favorite Festivals and Events

And of course, there are always the seasonal festivals and events that offer a unique spin on a Disney parks visit.

• From August 9 to October 31, families can delight in the frightful fun of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party .
• EPCOT guests can taste their way around the world at the International Food & Wine Festival , from August 29 to November 23.
• And currently, fans can see the worlds of Pixar come alive at Pixar Fest at Disneyland. Running from April 26 through August 4, guests of all ages can celebrate with daytime parades, nighttime spectaculars, and encounters with their favorite Pixar characters.

Beyond 2024

And that’s just this year .

Going forward, Disney fans can keep an eye out for updates on DisneylandForward , which includes a planned Avatar Experience at Disneyland.

There’s also fresh expansions coming to the Magic Kingdom, exploring the Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom , more cruise ships with their own unique themes, an ongoing effort to reimagine Disneyland Paris , a newly rebuilt Space Mountain at Tokyo Disney Resort in 2027, and much more.

The Walt Disney Company announced last year that it is developing plans to accelerate and expand investment in its Parks, Experiences and Products segment to nearly double capital expenditures over the course of approximately 10 years to roughly $60 billion.

So, with plenty happening across the globe now and through the next decade, Disney Experiences is as alive as Walt could’ve ever hoped it would be.

The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival has revealed a lineup: Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Gwen Stefani, Hozier, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Paramore, Shaboozey, the Black Crowes, Thomas Rhett, Victoria Monét and others are slated to perform for the two-day event taking place Sept. 20 and 21 at T-Moblie Arena in Las Vegas. Ryan Seacrest will once again serve as host of the festival.
