The tour generally is very good. But unfortunately the roommate I am sharing the room wasn't the right fit for me - loud and inconsiderate, rude and disrespecting me with swearing words. The tour guide Javier was trying his best to make the situation more bearable, but unfortunately not everything was in his power in control. My travel agent and the I contacted the Europamundo for assistance, but seems that they were not very much interested to find a better solution than only offering me to book a single room. The whole attitude was : "We can't do much, and we really don't want to try to find a better solution". They even didn't try. I really felt physically sick and not getting the support from the company and not seeing any effort from their end makes me very uneasy to book again with them. I booked 3 tours with Europamundo and after the excitement of the first trip I was expecting a great experience for this one, which unfortunately didn't happen. Visited locations were nice, the guides were knowledgeable understanding and helpful, as much as they could, but the whole impression of the company is - we don't care less!.

More like a hop on hop off bus depending where you get on and get off - not the usual A to B tour with the same tour guide and travellers as we thought. We had a 5-6 day trip and had 3 different coaches, 3 different tour guides and constant changes to who you are travelling with. There was no ‘group meeting’ when we arrived as we were the only ones joining the ‘group’. Very disorganised on the first day as no one explained what was happening and how it worked. Spanish is the predominant language spoken but they did eventually divide off the English speakers. Having said that all three tour guides during the 5 days were knowledgeable and directions each day were clear, accommodation and daily breakfasts were great. We would have preferred to be travelling with the same group for the duration so you could get to know people but not the case which wasn’t clear at time of booking. Lastly, when the time came to pay the balance of the tour the invoice was much more and not clear, we had to contact the Brisbane office to clear this up as we only prepared to pay brochure price so watch that.

It was well organized but the upgraded hotel was not even a 3 Star equivalent. I did Italy on my home last year and was a lot easier to know beforehand what hotel you are going to. It’s not hard to do a tour like this on your own and will save you a lot of money. Will not be using Wing Buddy again.

The coordination of flights, transportation is good, however, assign hotels is AWFUL. We paid for Superior rooms. Was told the hotels are 4 star hotels. The hotels definitely are NOT 4 star hotels - more like 2 star hotels. Small, dinghy rooms with terrible beds/pillows and awful breakfasts. Second time booking with Wingbuddy and hotels were terrible for both trips. Don’t pkan on using Wingbuddy again.

We had a great time. Wise Yatra were always available to help and follow up. The Motels were of a good standard. The itinerary was a great mix of yourself time and suggested ideas and skip the line adventures. Communication through WhatsApp was very responsive. We had some issues with some flight delays and the team were very responsive to ensure our transfers were informed and communicated with. Just loved Prague it was my favourite. Would love it if they did a reverse from Budapest to Prague as it is easier to travel to other counties with more options from Prague. We used goggle maps to find motels, trains and points of interest as it has a public transport option. Would recommend and use this company again.

Our tour was July 11 to 19, 2023, Prague to Vienna. I was incredibly disappointed with the two major components of our self guided tour, our accommodations, and my bike. I realized that my bike was in poor condition on the first day after our driver unloaded it and drove off--no bike fitting as stated, the rear reflector was a piece of red tape, and I was given a thin yellow strap to use. The helmet was well used and the back light didn't work. I could only navigate with 3 gears, my chain keep coming off, and the brakes were loud and I felt unsafe. Roadside assistance was slow and when I did hear back from our Ave contact hours later, hopeful he would be of assistance, he was still trying to find a bike mechanic for the following day, ugh, the following day! It was 32 degrees and we needed to be on the road early. I ended up tracking down a bike mechanic on my own, paid him in cash, and still had to chance gears and brake slowly and carefully. Our rooms were purported to be three star, however, they were substandard and one inn had us in the attic with no windows that could be opened and it was a heatwave. Our return transfer driver was organizing other work and was texting and driving for the 50 minute freeway trip, unsafe and unprofessional. Marianne

I have done self-guided cycling trips in 6 different countries and have never had any issues. However, UTracks was terrible. They subcontract to AVE Travel. 1. Bike not properly tuned up upon delivery and AVE Travel was not responsive in helping us find a bike repair shop along the way. 2. Accomodation was substandard or poorly located. For example, In Cesky Krumlov, we stayed in a small run down building located on a street with boarded up buildings. The tiny rooms were located in the attic with a small window that did not open in 30 degree C temperature. Another town, we were put up outside of the city centre in a truck stop. 3. They changed our itinerary with no explanation. The trip we booked and paid for clearly included an overnight stop at Vranov. However, we were shunted off to a much smaller village of Bitov 4 kms away where there is nothing of interest. The hotel was particularly grim. Hotel Bitov is run down and filthy. The toilet seat in my room was cracked and stained, the rugs were infested with dead bugs and curling at the edges. The drapes were coated with heavy dust that spread into the room when closed. Why was our itinerary changed? To add insult to injury, when we emailed UTracks with our concerns, we heard NOTHING back. All they are interested in is booking the trips with no concern for the comfort and safety of their riders.
