Disney Wish Tower Suite Ultimate Guide

Sharing is caring!

Here we have the absolute best and most detailed guide to the Disney Wish Tower Suite.

If you want to stay in absolute luxury on the fabulous new Disney Wish, the Tower Suite is the ultimate place to snag a reservation.

Located in a unique position in the Disney Wish Funnel, the Tower Suite is truly a unique place to call home on your Disney Cruise.

Disney Wish Funnel Suite

The Disney Wish Funnel Suite

Where is the Disney Wish Tower Suite on the ship? Right inside the funnel!

High up on Deck 14 of the Disney Wish you will find the amazing and highly unique Disney Wish Tower Suite.

All of the Disney ships have two funnels. However, only one is needed for the actual mechanics of the ship.

disney cruise tower suite

When the original Disney Classic ship, the Magic, was designed, the Imagineers wanted a classic look reminiscent of the cruise ship design at the beginning of the twentieth century.

Therefore the second funnel on each of the Disney ships is “decorative” but the inside space is used. On the Disney Magic and Wonder it is used for the Vibe and on the Fantasy and Dream, the Edge.

On the Disney Wish the space is put to spectacular use as the Tower Suite. Sure to be one of the most amazing cruise suites at sea, the design takes it’s inspiration from the free spirited Moana.

“Each of our theme parks has a majestic icon that captures our guests’ imaginations,” said Laura Cabo, portfolio creative executive, Walt Disney Imagineering. “On a Disney cruise ship, that beacon of magic is our signature red funnels. For the first time ever, guests aboard the Disney Wish will be able to book an incredible two-story suite that’s actually located within one of our funnels. With the Wish Tower Suite, we are creating a breathtaking experience that continues our tradition of the most unique and enchanting accommodations at sea.”

The  piece de resistance  will be a hand-crafted porcelain sculpture that comes alive in an only-Disney-can-do way. When guests arrive home to the Wish Tower Suite, they may discover the statue pulsing in myriad hues of green amid soft chimes that recall the film’s distinctive soundtrack, revealing itself as the heart of Te Fiti. The special lighting and audio effects will eventually fill the room to provide a truly magical, one-of-a-kind greeting.

Disney Wish Tower Suite Facts

The Tower Suite on the Disney Wish is a 1,966-square-foot penthouse which offers elegant design and amazing concierge service.

This Concierge Suite will comfortably sleep up to eight guests. That is the most of any stateroom on the Disney Wish.

There are two main bedrooms, a children’s room and a library that converts to a bedroom. And let’s not forget the four and a half bathrooms!

The second floor loft is reached by way of a spiral staircase.

Wish-Tower-Suite-Living-Room

The overall design and spirit of the Disney Wish is the concept of Enchantment. As you can see here from the concept art which shows the living room, the huge space is both beautiful and practical.

We are told that the Tower Suite will feature a very special hand-crafted porcelain sculpture which has a dynamic way of welcoming guests to their Disney Wish stateroom suite.

It will certainly be interesting to see what this sculpture does!

We don’t yet know what the Disney Wish Tower Suite Price would be – but you can be sure that it will be out of the reach of most of us!

Tower Suite Living Room

disney cruise tower suite

There is a large dining table to accommodate all the suite guests. On the other Disney ships, Suite Concierge guests can enjoy all meals in their stateroom if they want to. This includes Palo. No doubt things will be the same on the Disney Wish.

There is also a bar and pantry which will be kept well stocked with whatever your ask your Concierge for.

Just look at those huge floor to ceiling windows! The views will be incredible.

Disney Wish Cruise Ship Suite

Wondering how you are going to close the curtains at night? Of course you just push a button for the motorized sheer and blackout drapes to open and close!

You may notice though that there is one thing missing from the Tower Suite. A verandah!

Obviously, that couldn’t be incorporated into the design. For some, even though this is clearly an amazing suite on the Disney Wish, will it be a deal-breaker?

There are four other Concierge Suites available so it will be interesting to see which is the most popular.

Disney Wish Tower Suite Bedrooms

The Tower Suite has two main bedrooms, a children’s room, and a library which converts to a bedroom

The two bedrooms have King beds. All bedrooms have luxurious fine linens from Frette. Anyone who has ever spent a night on a Disney Cruise knows that the beds and linens are incredible.

Imagine that view from the master bedroom through those floor to ceiling windows! The decor is subtle and understated – just very luxurious

Disney Wish Tower Suite Bedroom

The second master bedroom in the funnel is very similar – just with different accent colors on the bedding.

Disney Wish Tower Suite Children’s Bedroom and Library

This third bedroom is designed for children and has bunk beds.

Disney Wish Tower Suite Childrens Bedroom

We are told that the library converts to a bedroom. Although we aren’t shown I would guess that this is going to be a murphy type bed that comes down from the wall. It may even be under the Moana picture but it isn’t clear.

Don’t you just love that picture of Moana?

Disney Wish Tower Suite Library

You can see here that each room has that wonderful deep blue color as an accent. The main living room has a wall this color, the master has it on the furniture and accent bedding. It evokes images of the ocean which is of course perfect for the Moana theme.

A close-up of the bookcase shows the books as being about art and design. Just look at the attention to detail too.

Tower Suite Disney Wish Bathroom

The bathroom in the Tower Suite is stunning. That fabulous bath tub looks very inviting.

Disney Wish Tower Suite Bathroom

The design is modern with lots of clean lines and gold accents. The blue art work on the wall above the bath gives a very distinctive look of the islands and the ocean.

Disney Wish Concierge Royal Suites

How will the Tower Suite compare with the Royal Suites on the Disney Wish?

There are four of the Royal Suites. Two will have 2 levels and the other 2 will be on one level.

Disney Concierge Royal Suite

The theme for the decor of the Royal Suites is the classic Sleeping Beauty movie.

There will be two P rincess Aurora Royal Suites  and two  Briar Rose Royal Suites .

The Royal Suites feature two main bedrooms each with a king bed and a large living area with a queen convertible sofa.

disney wish concierge royal suite

These Royal Suites also have a private verandah with a whirlpool view and are 1,507 square feet. They sleep 6 guests in amazing luxury.

disney wish royal suite

As you can see from the Disney Wish concept art, there are certain themes in the decor which both the Tower Suite and the Royal Suites have.

The swirls of pattern for the light fixtures which echo the design of the Disney Wish atrium chandelier, the gold fittings and even the beautiful but simple white flower arrangements.

Disney Wish Concierge Staterooms

Which will be the more popular? The Tower Suite or the Royal Suite? It is difficult to tell before the launch of the Disney Wish, but I have to say that if I was to pick on design alone, I would choose one of the Royal Suites.

The reason? I prefer the decor of the Royal Suites – for me they are more enchanted and less modern than the Tower Suite. I prefer the more classic Disney design.

However, the main reason? The Royal Suites are all going to have huge wrap-around verandahs.

The outside vistas from the bathrooms are going to be amazing. Whilst the views from the Tower Suite are going to be spectacular, I do think that if I was spending that much money, I would need a balcony.

You can see the location of the Royal Suites on these Deck Plans. 12000 and 12500.

Disney WIsh Concierge Royal Suites Location

On Deck 13 the Royal Suites are 13000 and 13500.

Disney WIsh Deck 13

The Royal Suites are ideally located on Deck 12 and Deck 13. You are just steps away from the Concierge Lounge and Pool.

Perhaps if you are staying in the Tower Suite there really won’t be that much of a reason to go to the Concierge Lounge. You can get pretty much everything that you need in your Suite – so why visit the Lounge?

However, you will no doubt want to spend some time on the Concierge Private Sun Deck. These has amazing views and two jacuzzis. In particular, as the Tower Suite does not have a verandah you will want to spend some time on the Sun Deck.

Disney Wish Guide

The location of the Tower Suite is not quite as convenient as the Royal Suites if we are talking about proximity to the Concierge facilities.

However, this really is unlikely to matter very much – you are within your own private, very luxurious, and pampered world in the Tower Suite!

You even have your own elevator! What a unique perk on a Disney Ship!

Disney Wish Tower Suite Perks

Disney Wish Cruise 2022

Staying at Concierge-level on a Disney Cruise Ship has many perks and advantages.

These include the service of a Concierge even before your cruise to help with reservations, priority booking, enhanced boarding, and assistance to snag one of those almost impossible to get Castaway Cay Cabanas.

As we have just mentioned, there is access to the Concierge Lounge and Deck.

For a complete guide to all the staterooms, suites, and perks we have the Ultimate Guide to Disney Wish Concierge.

However, staying in the Royal Suite on the Disney Wish brings even more special perks and advantages.

Disney Wish Frozen Restaurant

It seems that the Tower Suite guests will have their own concierge team who are dedicated just to them.

The announcement talks of “curated services and daily treats”. We don’t know what these will be yet, but perhaps they are exclusive perks such as character greetings and behind the scenes opportunities?

I am speculating at this point, but I am sure that there will be some amazing benefits to staying in the Tower Suite that haven’t yet been disclosed.

We tried a $10,000 concierge suite on Disney Wish to find out if it was worth the extra cost

Summer Hull

Disney Wish is Disney Cruise Line's newest, largest and undeniably fanciest ship. In the summer of 2022, Wish joined the fleet as Disney's fifth ship, and since then, I've become an unabashed fan. The beautiful, modern floating resort is so impressive that it can even win over non-cruisers .

I've been lucky enough to sail on Wish twice. During my first sailing, I was an invited guest of Disney on a media preview cruise and stayed in a stateroom with a veranda. More recently, I sailed as a paying passenger on a regularly scheduled sailing in a one-bedroom suite.

A suite is obviously more luxurious and spacious than a standard room, but arguably the best things about Disney Cruise Line 's version are the numerous concierge perks that come with it.

For cruise news, reviews and tips, sign up for TPG's cruise newsletter .

On Wish, there is a concierge lounge, complete with a private sun deck and hot tubs. Plus, you'll enjoy complimentary evening cocktails, hot room service breakfast, access to earlier onboard and port activity reservation times, and a dedicated team that handles any needs or logistics that arise on your voyage, among other perks.

disney cruise tower suite

If you're considering a cruise on Disney Wish in a concierge-level cabin, here's a look at what you can expect — and when paying extra is and isn't worth the cost.

Disney Wish concierge basics

Concierge lounge access and services on Disney Wish are available to passengers with bookings in the Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom category and above.

Measuring 300 to 350 square feet, these entry-level concierge rooms include a private balcony (in some cases) and can sleep up to five people. While they are essentially standard cabins in terms of size, they have the added benefit of touches like a down duvet, a plush robe and slippers, a pillow menu and included Wi-Fi access, according to Disney.

The suites on the ship, ranging from the one-bedroom suite we booked to the over-the-top Tower Suite located in the ship's forward (fake) funnel, also come with concierge access and perks.

disney cruise tower suite

Concierge rooms are admittedly pretty pricey when compared to most standard cabins, and they typically sell out before the other room types.

For the least expensive three-night sailings on Disney Wish, expect to pay at least $3,700 for double occupancy or around $5,300 for two adults and two children in the same cabin.

disney cruise tower suite

However, it can easily cost more than double that price to sail in a concierge room during peak holiday dates, when the price of the suites quickly crosses the $10,000 mark for a family.

Disney Wish has roughly double the number of concierge cabins of the other Disney ships, with a total of 76 located across decks 11, 12 and 13. This increase in total number of concierge passengers comes with it its own list of pros and cons that I'll address shortly.

Disney Wish concierge perks

The magic of the Disney concierge benefits starts well before you board. Most of these perks are the same regardless of which Disney ship you've booked, though how they play out varies a bit based on the ship and port(s).

Early booking for dining and activities

Starting 130 days before you sail, you can inform the concierge team of your booking preferences for things like onboard dining, spa treatments, port adventures and bookings at Castaway Cay. Then, 120 days before you set sail, that team does its best to secure the reservations you want.

disney cruise tower suite

That's an earlier booking window than other cruisers get. Typically, passengers can start booking activities 75 days out for first-time cruisers, 90 days for those with Silver Castaway Club status and 105 days for those with Gold Castaway Club status.

The early access period for concierge cruisers is the same window as those with Platinum Castaway Club status — the highest elite tier in Disney Cruise Line's loyalty program — receive. You don't earn this top-tier status until you've completed at least 10 sailings with Disney, so this head start on booking is a huge benefit for concierge room guests.

This early booking benefit can be the difference between getting that coveted brunch or dinner reservation at the adults-only restaurants, premium spa treatment time or a highly sought-after cabana on Castaway Cay, Disney's private island .

disney cruise tower suite

Early ship boarding — and a private lounge at Port Canaveral

Some concierge perks come when it's time to sail.

You get the earliest port arrival time, which often means you'll rub elbows with fewer people in the terminal and end up spending more time on the ship. We were able to arrive at the port starting a little before 10:30 a.m., which is an hour or two earlier than most passengers.

There were no crowds at all in the Port Canaveral terminal, which is Wish's home port, and we didn't have to wait in any measurable lines to have our documents or carry-on bags checked.

disney cruise tower suite

A sticker was put on our shirts to denote that we were concierge passengers to the staff, which literally opened doors for us.

disney cruise tower suite

By 10:40 a.m. we were in the private lounge reserved for those in concierge cabins and back-to-back cruisers who were enjoying a second consecutive sailing.

disney cruise tower suite

The lounge wasn't over-the-top nice but did have spots to sit, charge your phone and sip on a cold drink from the minifridge.

disney cruise tower suite

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., we found ourselves walking on board the still mostly empty ship.

disney cruise tower suite

Onboard welcome lunch

The pools and AquaMouse waterslide weren't yet open when we got onto the ship because it was so early in our sailing. However, I highly recommend using this extra time to head to those the minute they are available. Since we had just cruised on Wish a few weeks earlier, we decided instead to check out the Grand Hall and attend a leisurely concierge welcome lunch in the 1923 restaurant.

disney cruise tower suite

This was a good time to get to know the concierge team and ask them about essential tips, like making your booking for the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge before the times are all snapped up. Minutes seriously matter on that one, so make the booking the moment you get on the ship's Wi-Fi and can access the Disney Cruise Line app.

disney cruise tower suite

We were also told that our suite should be ready by the time we were done with our meal of smoked salmon, empanadas, and the epic welcome aboard sundae with vanilla bean ice cream, pecan-caramel cupcake bites and butterscotch topping — and that proved correct.

The concierge lounge

Now we're getting to the good stuff. Located on Deck 12 forward (Deck 13 for the sun deck), the concierge lounge is a showpiece of why you sail in this class of Disney Wish cabin in the first place.

This is where you will find the kind, knowledgeable, personal and gracious team of four concierge hosts. It's also where you can enjoy small plates of snacks throughout the day; access a fridge full of complimentary juice, water and soda; and visit the included bar in the evenings from 5 to 10 p.m.

disney cruise tower suite

This particular concierge lounge is massive when you factor in all the indoor space, the outdoor terrace and the entire sun deck.

disney cruise tower suite

We enjoyed the sailaway out of Port Canaveral from this deck and would visit each day for small plates of food that you don't usually find on other parts of the ship, such as sushi. We'd also come here to load up on bottled water and some sodas for the room and shore excursions.

disney cruise tower suite

Whatever you do, make sure you don't miss the evening happy hours in the lounge. You can get wine, beer, mixed drinks, cocktails and basically anything you can dream up at no extra charge to enjoy there or elsewhere on the ship. Our kids loved the mocktail strawberry daiquiris.

disney cruise tower suite

On the sun deck, there are two hot tubs and a small pool available exclusively for concierge guests. There's more than enough seating up here and even an unlimited Dole Whip smoothie machine, if you find yourself craving Disney's iconic treat. It sounds better than it tastes, but the odds are high that your kids will have fun with it.

disney cruise tower suite

Hot in-room meals for breakfast and from the restaurants

Everyone on Disney Cruise Line can order room service to their stateroom at virtually any time of day for free. However, in most staterooms, room service breakfast choices are limited to continental options such as cereals, doughnuts, pastries and fruit. In concierge suites, you can order hot room service options, too.

To place an order, fill out the order card the night before. The next day, you'll find yourself starting your day with pretty delicious menu items such as Mickey waffles, avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches, all in the comfort of your room.

disney cruise tower suite

At night, most stateroom guests can choose from room service basics such as chicken fingers, hamburgers and chicken wings. But in concierge accommodations, you can also have a meal from the sit-down restaurants brought to your room.

I'd love to say we tried that and show you some pictures of fancy food, but after several rich and involved meals, the chicken fingers and fries were all we wanted on the one night we dined in.

Early seating for evening shows

There are no assigned seats for the Broadway-caliber shows (think: "The Little Mermaid" and "Aladdin") on Disney Wish, but those who are staying in concierge rooms do have their first choice of seats, as you can meet one of the concierge hosts at a special entrance about five minutes before the other guests are let into the theater. This translates to getting your first pick of seats.

disney cruise tower suite

These first-come, first-served seats are not in a reserved section, so you do still need to get to the theater pretty early. You'll need to ask the hosts exactly what time they are meeting before the show, but if you want that front-and-center spot, it's a nice perk.

Free popcorn

While watching the evening shows or a movie — or really whenever you get a craving for a snack — you can get free popcorn with your concierge stateroom keycard. It's a small way that the concierge label makes everything feel a little bit easier.

Get walked off the ship at the end of the cruise

On our first Disney cruise , getting off the ship on the final morning was a total nightmare. There were epic queues for the over-stuffed elevators and a seemingly never-ending line to walk off the ship.

If you stay in a concierge accommodation, you don't have to deal with any of those headaches. At certain times in the morning — the final available time to do this on our recent cruise was around 8:15 a.m. — one of the hosts will let you get into a special elevator that quickly brings you down to the deck to disembark without a wait. It's a magical way to end the trip.

disney cruise tower suite

You're on your own for the regular line for clearing customs, but getting off the ship itself is a dream that you don't want to end.

Inside our 1-bedroom suite on Disney Wish

Like the rest of the ship, our one-bedroom suite was lovely, albeit a little plain in certain areas.

First, the highlights, of which there were many: The king-size bed was absolutely heavenly. Given how tight sleeping quarters can be on ships, it was a massive luxury to have such a large bed while on Wish.

disney cruise tower suite

The "Tangled"-themed mural on the wall in the bathroom was also breathtaking.

disney cruise tower suite

Frankly, the entire bathroom was divine and felt far more like what you'd find in a hotel than in a cruise cabin, thanks to its spacious layout.

Off the living room was another full bathroom that lacked a tub like the primary bathroom, but it still had a shower that was extremely generous in size, especially given it was the suite's secondary shower.

disney cruise tower suite

In the living room, there was a small Murphy bed that came out of an awkward divider between the dining and sitting areas. The couch also converted into a bed courtesy of the stateroom host each evening.

disney cruise tower suite

That made for a total of three sleeping spaces in this suite.

disney cruise tower suite

Disney Wish's layout was a bit different from what I'd found when staying in a one-bedroom suite on Disney Wonder , where suites have smaller single beds in the bedroom instead of the living room. That worked better for me at the time with younger kids, but I can see how Wish's arrangement may be ideal for those with older kids.

Either way, the primary bedroom area was mostly occupied by the bed, so there wasn't much room for anything other than a side table and a dresser.

disney cruise tower suite

Another key difference that I'm not sure was an improvement was the use of space between the primary bedroom and bathroom. On Disney Wonder, there was a desk there that was perfect for working, putting on makeup, or organizing and charging all your devices.

On Wish, that hall was instead used for storage, which was OK but a little awkward, especially because the doors were so tough to open that my 7-year-old couldn't always do it without help. Younger kids certainly wouldn't be able to access it on their own. If someone happens to pull out the keycard that allows the lights to come on inside — which happened to us during our cruise — heaven help you, as it is pitch black and almost creepy in there.

Other than the eye-catching light fixture, the dining area also felt a little uninspiring, given how grand the bathroom was. Some art on the walls, perhaps from "Tangled" to continue the theme, would have been nice.

disney cruise tower suite

That said, our private balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets.

All-in-all, the one-bedroom suite was a lovely space that certainly benefited from the modern decor and bedding, but I'm not 100% convinced it is an overall better use of physical space than what you'll find on the older Disney ships. Still, my two kids, grandma and I were comfortable throughout our cruise.

Is concierge level worth it on the new Disney Wish?

Now that you have a sense of the suite and what type of magic a concierge-level booking unlocks on Disney Wish, let's talk about when it is — and maybe isn't — worth the splurge.

When concierge level on Disney Wish is worth it

If you simply want to be in one of the ship's suites (and have the funds for it), then you're going to default to having concierge access and perks. You'll not only have more space in your cabin but also all the perks that come along with it.

For what it's worth, my favorite onboard suite is not the most expensive one in the funnel but rather the two-story "Sleeping Beauty"-inspired Royal Suite. Sure, it'll set you back at least $15,000 per sailing, but it's beautiful — to say the least.

disney cruise tower suite

Concierge level is also worth it if you want the best service that Disney Cruise Line has to offer.

For example, if you are only ever going to sail once, paying up for all the bells and whistles may be the way to go. That way, you can have someone on hand to magically handle all the logistics and requests and be available for any onboard questions and assistance.

On shorter cruises, like the three- and four-night options on Wish, the concierge can also help you maximize your time by letting you on as early as possible. Additionally, it's a fantastic category to book if you really enjoy lounges when you travel and plan to make the most of the ones on and off the ship.

disney cruise tower suite

On Wish specifically, you have the added benefit of the private sun deck with hot tubs. If you think you'll use those, then it's a real value-add.

And of course, when the price differential between the more standard cabins and concierge rooms is smaller — let's say $1,500 or so, it's obviously more worth it than when the price differential is thousands and thousands of dollars.

disney cruise tower suite

Finally, if you have hard-to-get reservation requests (like the perfect Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique time slot) and don't otherwise have Platinum Castaway Club status, which allows you to book it at the first available moment, then being in a concierge room increases your odds of snagging those valuable timeslots.

disney cruise tower suite

When concierge level on Disney Wish isn't worth it

As mentioned, if funds are not an issue and you want the best of the best, then great, book a concierge cabin on Disney Wish. We eagerly await the postcard you send us from your fabulous vacation.

However, for most of us with finite vacation budgets, there are trade-offs requiring us to maximize each decision. As a result, having concierge access on your first Wish sailing may not be the best use of money.

Having sailed both in and out of these accommodations on Wish, I found myself enjoying more of the ship itself when sailing without concierge access.

On your first Wish sailing, you already have three new-to-you restaurants to enjoy, which makes dining at the adults-only specialty restaurants less of a priority since doing so means you'll need to skip one of the included restaurants. If you don't eat in the adults-only spots, you don't need help getting those coveted bookings, meaning you'll get less out of the pricey concierge experience.

disney cruise tower suite

The on-deck food, like Marceline Market, is also worth visiting on your first Disney Wish cruise, but you may find it harder to work it in when you have access to the concierge lounge.

The same applies for drinks. Since drinks were included in the concierge lounge each evening, I felt silly going to the ship's fantastic bars, such as the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge and The Rose, because of the out-of-pocket costs attached to those cocktails.

disney cruise tower suite

Even with concierge perks, you may also find yourself out of luck in getting some highly sought-after benefits. This happened to me with one perk I was really looking forward to: the hard-to-book cabanas on Castaway Cay.

Because there are more concierge cabins on Disney Wish than there are cabanas on Castaway Cay, you are not guaranteed the ability to rent one. Athough we requested one as soon as possible, we were not one of the lucky ones to snag a cabana.

If you decide to skip the extra expense of concierge level, that means you'll have more money to put toward the new offerings on board, such as cocktails with popsicles in tasty flavors in the adult-only pool area.

disney cruise tower suite

Bottom line

There's no question that sailing with concierge access on Disney Wish is a fantastic experience, but you probably could have guessed that. It improves an already low-stress vacation so it becomes an essentially stress-free getaway with magical moments at every turn. The concierge team can grant virtually every wish you could dream up.

Sipping evening cocktails on the private deck while sailing away into the sunset was simply phenomenal, and having a lounge to pop into for treats, drinks or reservation assistance was a convenience I could get used to.

However, magic comes at a cost.

Disney Cruise Line is already more expensive than most family-oriented cruise lines, and Disney Wish is the most expensive of the Disney ships. Add concierge access on top of that and, well, it's certainly not cheap. If you are going to have to take fewer trips over the course of a year or two to afford a concierge-level room on Disney Wish, then you're probably better off skipping it on your first sailing. After all, part of the fun of being on Disney Wish is checking out all the one-of-a-kind facilities you'll only find on this ship.

Disney Wish made waves with a series of firsts: the first-ever Disney attraction at sea, a Star Wars -themed lounge for adults, Frozen and Marvel-themed dining experiences, and much, much more. But that's not all — the ship features a new, one-of-a-kind suite. The Wish Tower Suite is the Disney Cruise Line's most unique suite to date, located in the ship's forward funnel and offering incredible ocean views and nearly 2,000 square feet of space across two stories.

"Each of our theme parks has a majestic icon that captures our guests' imaginations," Laura Cabo, portfolio creative executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure . "On a Disney cruise ship, that beacon of magic is our signature red funnels. For the first time ever, guests aboard the Disney Wish will be able to book an incredible two-story suite that's actually located within one of our funnels. With the Wish Tower Suite, we are creating a breathtaking experience that continues our tradition of the most unique and enchanting accommodations at sea."

The Disney Wish features over 1,200 staterooms with storybook inspiration pulled from classic Disney fairy tales like "Cinderella," "Sleeping Beauty," and "Tangled." The Wish Tower Suite will have elegant touches inspired by "Moana," reflected in the colors, materials, and artwork guests will find throughout the suite. One of the suite's most unique "Moana" features is a porcelain sculpture that comes alive with lighting and audio effects inspired by the film.

With precisely 1,966 square feet of space sleeping up to eight guests in two main bedrooms, a children's room (with bunk beds and sparkling, light-up constellations on the ceiling), a library that can convert into another bedroom, and four and a half bathrooms, guests staying in this enchanting suite have plenty of room to spread out and relax when they're not out exploring the ship's many pools and fun spaces. On the first story, there is a living room, dining area, pantry, and bar with a two-story window offering views of the ship's upper decks and the ocean. Upstairs, are the main bedrooms, complete with king beds made with Frette linens, walk-in closets, and floor-to-ceiling-windows, and the main bathrooms have soaking tubs and rain showers.

Of course, the incredible suite comes with some pretty great perks to match, including a personal concierge team, curated experiences, daily treats, and a private elevator. Guests staying here will also get VIP access to the concierge lounge and sun deck which will have a wading pool, two whirlpools, a bar, and more.

The Disney Wish set sail on its maiden voyage on July 14, 2022 from Port Canaveral and offers three-and four night-itineraries traveling to Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney's private island.

Disney Wish Stateroom 14000 Tour – Wish Tower Suite

The Disney Wish 1,966 sq. ft. Concierge Wish Tower Suite offers accommodations for up to 8 guests with it’s own grand spiral staircase, an open dining salon, pantry with wet bar stocked with water and soda. The unique concierge suite was designed with artwork, iconography and materials that evoke the Oceania-inspired world of “Moana.”

Wish Tower Suite Entrance

For Disney Cruise Line, stateroom 14000 is a first-of-its-kind accommodation, located high in the forward funnel above the upper decks, guests enter via a special entry accessible via a private elevator from Deck 10 and 12 to deck 14. Additionally, there is a nondescript door to a stairwell is located on deck 12, just off the upper deck.

The main living room will be flanked by an open dining area, a large pantry and a bar, all offering views across the upper decks to the horizon through an expansive two-story window wall.

Just off the main area on the port side is a library which can be converted into a bedroom with queen size wall bed.

Wish Tower Suite

Also on the first level, is a bedroom with built in bunk beds with illuminated Moana inspired ceiling constellations.

Wish Tower Suite

Located on the upper-level loft, the main bedrooms will be lavish and serene with king beds, walk-in closets and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the living area below to the views beyond. The main bathrooms will each have double vanities, soaking tubs and rain showers. Below is a look at the bedroom and bath on the starboard side.

Moving across the loft, is the other bedroom on the port side.

No privacy at all around this place! Cousin Orville took over the coolest stateroom on the ship, and rigged up something pretty clever, he calls it automatic blinds.

In contrast, this is the view from the starboard bedroom window.

There is no argument that this is a unique stateroom, but it does lack a private verandah and guests around the upper decks can look right into your stateroom.

Ahh so it’s like a human terrarium. Got it. No outside verandah means this is a glorified ocean view room that actually looks out onto the lido deck of the Axiom. Thanks but no thanks.

' src=

Feel bad for the people dropping $$$$$ to stay in this tower not realizing that even with their blinds closed they are on full display! They should have done one-way windows.

' src=

Lisa, you read my mind. We always get a Verandah and we get more privacy than that suite will ever get.

' src=

The more I read about the Wish, I wish it weren’t so. When we sail again, I think we’re going to avoid this ship. Sounds like they went backwards in more ways than not. We’ll stick with the Dream or Fantasy.

' src=

No balcony no ty! Dumb design of that room..no privacy! One of many design flaws on the wish!

Disney Cruise Line unveils Disney Wish Concierge Wish Tower Suite Stateroom, pricing & deck plans

Today the Disney Parks Blog unveiled the newest addition to the upcoming Disney Wish cruise ship – a first-of-its-kind accommodation, a multi-level suite, set high in the forward funnel of the  Disney Wish .

disney cruise tower suite

The Wish Tower Suite, known as stateroom 14000, is a 1,966-square-foot penthouse in the sky which will feature artwork, iconography, and materials inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana.” Throughout the suite, creative ornaments and custom artwork will offer sophisticated nods to the characters and locales of this beloved film.

disney cruise tower suite

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Wish Tower Suite includes “… a spacious upper-level loft, the … suite … will sleep up to eight guests with two main bedrooms and a children’s room with signature bunk beds.

disney cruise tower suite

During the day, guests can enjoy relaxing in the library and at night it can be converted to a bedroom with a full bathroom with double sinks and a shower. The suite has a total of four-and-a-half bathrooms including a guest bathroom at the entry.

The magnificent living room will be flanked by an open dining area, a large pantry, and a bar, all offering extraordinary views across the upper decks to the horizon through an expansive two-story window wall.

disney cruise tower suite

“The Wish Tower Suite is being designed with artwork, iconography and materials that evoke the Oceania-inspired world of ‘Moana,'” writes Scott Sanders of the Disney Cruise Line Blog. “A soothing palette of calm blues, soft whites and deep corals will lay the foundation for family rest and relaxation, while creative ornaments and custom artwork will convey sophisticated nods to the characters and locales of the film.”

When guests arrive home to the Wish Tower Suite, a hand-crafted porcelain sculpture will come alive as they enter. They may discover the statue pulsing in myriad hues of green amid soft chimes that recall the film’s distinctive soundtrack, revealing itself as the heart of Te Fiti. The special lighting and audio effects will eventually fill the room to provide a truly magical, one-of-a-kind greeting.

The Disney Cruise Line Blog also reports that “other film-inspired decorations include a custom canvas piece depicting Moana sailing on the sea; dimensional props that celebrate the treasures of the ocean and the local crafts of Moana’s village; and a glittering sculpture composed of shiny objects – a playful interpretation of Tamatoa’s dazzling collection. The children’s room, which will feature uniquely designed built-in bunkbeds, will enchant kids of all ages with a sparkling constellation pattern that lights up the ceiling to reveal imagery from the movie composed entirely of stars: Moana’s oar, Gramma Tala, Maui’s hook and the heart of Te Fiti.

disney cruise tower suite

The Wish Tower Suite will feature plush Frette duvets, bed linens, bath towels, and robes; motorized sheer and block-out curtains; a wet bar stocked with water and sodas; complimentary internet access; and a deluxe menu of hypo-allergenic feather and therapeutic memory foam pillows. Guests will also enjoy VIP access to the concierge lounge and sun deck with two whirlpools, a wading pool, a bar, plush lounge furniture, and the superlative service of a pool deck host.”

Sailing Pricing

Also today, the Disney Cruise Line released pricing for the Disney Wish in advance of early bookings next week. Initial sailings and prices, which will begin in summer 2022, are 3-, 4-, and 5-night Bahamian cruises departing from Port Canaveral, Florida.

The Disney Cruise Line Blog notes that the pricing is a starting point for each sailing “by stateroom type such as inside, oceanview, verandah, and concierge. Stateroom category availability may vary per sailing. The starting from pricing and availability are likely to change rapidly during the first few of the following early booking windows.”

disney cruise tower suite

The maiden voyage on 9 June 2022, which is a 5-night cruise, is priced higher than the other cruise dates. Prices for an inside cabin start at $5,769.00/person for an inside cabin, $5,969.00/person for oceanview, $6,369.00/person for verandah cabins, and $9,439.00/person for concierge level.

Disney Wish deck plans

Although there is not an official deck plan from Disney yet, the Disney Cruise Line Blog created one to give readers an approximation of how the new ship will possibly be laid out. Click here to see the plan.

On the official Disney Cruise Line website however, there is an interactive deck plan with previously announced amenities including dining outlets, entertainment, and sample cabins. What is of interest are the areas that say “more magic coming.” Currently decks 3, 4, 5, and 11 have these notations.

Disney Wish Tower Suite Photo & Video Tour (Funnel Suite)

Hi everyone!

The Disney Wish officially sets sail July 14th, 2022 as the fifth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. We were on the media cruise last week and had the opportunity to tour various locations on the ship, including the Wish Tower Suite. It is a gorgeous, 1966 square-foot “penthouse in the sky” (as per Disney) that is located in the funnel for the first time on a Disney ship. The suite is both spacious and cozy, and can sleep up to eight guests with two main bedrooms, a children’s room, a library that converts to a bedroom and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The suite is themed to “Moana”. Here are about 50 photos and our video tour of the Wish Tower Suite!

First up, our video.

The windows to the funnel suite can be seen here.

There is  a sculpture to the left. Disney says of it, When guests arrive home to the Wish Tower Suite, they may discover the statue pulsing in myriad hues of green amid soft chimes that recall the film’s distinctive soundtrack, revealing itself as the heart of Te Fiti. The special lighting and audio effects will eventually fill the room to provide a truly magical, one-of-a-kind greeting.

The Wish Tower Suite does receive concierge services. You can find more out about the suite at the Disney Cruise Line website . There is only one Wish Tower Suite and it’s already proven very popular.

Disney Treasure cabins review

MS Disney Treasure ship has 1256 staterooms, most of which are the midship-located Balconies. All cabins and suites are well planned and equipped with the cruise industry's latest amenities.

Of all passenger accommodations, ~90% (1133) are outside and in two types - verandah (948, or ~70%), and oceanview (185, or ~20%). Inside cabins are 123 (~10%). The top-tier accommodations are in the categories Concierge Suites (12x, all themed after "The Lion King" movie/2019), Royal Suites (4x) and the Tomorrow Tower Suite (1x). A total of 451 staterooms are specifically designed for families, having interconnecting doors.

Like on all DCL ships, passenger staterooms on Disney Treasure by sizes are ranked among the industry's largest standard cabins, designed to easily accommodate four people. Cabins are with ample storage space, lounge/living area and split bathrooms (1 room with shower-bathtub-sink-WC, and separate toilet-sink). Beds on are raised to allow underbed storage for 2 medium-sized suitcases. Each cabin has as standard amenities 2 mirrored vanities with chairs, 22-inch smart HDTV (satellite reception, infotainment system), iPod docking station, 2 rechargeable "Wave Phones" (for shipwide use).

Cabin grades include three "Guaranteed" categories: VGT-Balcony, OGT-Oceanview, IGT-Inside. Royal Suites are two types (1-story, and 2-story/Duplex) and feature a separate living room, wet bar, kitchenette (small cooking/dining area), media library, outdoor/balcony Jacuzzi. The two duplex Royal Suites are differently themed/decorated and named "Rajah" and "Bagheera".

Handicap staterooms (wheelchair-accessible cabins) are 35 total and in the following categories:

  • 1C (1-Story Royal Suite) room #10166
  • 2B (1-Bedroom Suite) room #13510
  • 3A (Concierge Family Verandah) room #13028
  • 3B (Concierge Family Oceanview) room #11504
  • 4C (Deluxe Family Verandah) rooms #6106-6108-7106-7108-7602-7604-8104-8106-8602-8604

  • 9B (Deluxe Oceanview) room#2062
  • 9D (Deluxe Oceanview) rooms#6006-6504
  • 11C (Standard Inside) room#2559
  • 11A (Standard Inside) room#9175

Follows the review of MS Disney Treasure staterooms as furniture, amenities and included (complimentary) services.

All standard cabins have Queen-size double bed (convertible to twin beds, wooden frames), wall-mounted reading lamps and bedside cabinets, ample under-bed storage space (for suitcases), Posturepedic Sealy mattresses, deluxe bedding sets (Frette Egyptian cotton linens/100%), spacious wardrobe (full-length mirror), full bathroom (glass door, single-sink vanity, bathtub, WC-toilet, glass shower, hairdryer, premium bath towels), H20+ spa products (by the brand "H2O Plus" / shampoo, conditioner, moisturizing body butter), living area separated by a curtain (with double sofabed, mirrored vanity table/desk with chair, built-in drawer dresser), 43-inch smart HDTV (infotainment system), USB-charging ports, refrigerator/drawer mini-bar, electronic safe box and lifejackets (in the closet), direct-dial phone (voice mail), LED-lighted full mirror, individual air-conditioning.

Most staterooms are quads and furnished with double beds (convertible), single sofabeds, 1x upper bunk or 1x Murphy bed (wall bed/pull-down bed). "Family cabins" are with King-size beds (non-convertible), single sofabeds and bunk beds (Pullman) and accommodate up to 5 passengers. A heavy curtain divides the living/sleeping areas.

All Suite passengers enjoy the following perks (bonus amenities and services): Disney-themed artworks, marble-top bathrooms (upgraded bath products, robes/slippers), luxury mattresses and bedding sets (including feather duvets, pillow menu), daily in-cabin dining (canapes, fresh fruits), console gaming table, 2 large HDTVs, BlueRay/DVD /CD player (with media library), board games, priority services (check-in, DCL cruise itinerary ports of call tendering), access to exclusive areas (Concierge Lounge and sun deck), free Internet, pre-dinner cocktails. Suite passengers also enjoy concierge services: (DCL cruise shore excursions booking, specialty dining-nursery-spa reservations, special requests, private parties/celebrations planning and assistance, in-room dining (all main restaurants menus).

  • Royal Suites have a master bedroom (plus hidden in the wall double pull-down and single pull-down bed), master bathroom (dual sinks, closet, whirlpool bathtub), large living room, dining area (pantry, wet bar), guest bathroom (shower, sink, WC), floor-ceiling windows, wrap-around private balcony (whirlpool bathtub).
  • 1-Bedroom Suites have a master bedroom/bathroom, living room (double sofa bed /convertible), dining room, guest bathroom, expanded balcony.

Concierge Suites and Concierge Family Cabins offer direct access to the ship's concierge-served facilities (1 small lounge, private sundeck area with chairs, free food and drinks). Most 1-Bedroom Suites are with connecting doors, Queen bed (convertible to twins), sitting/lounge area with double sofabed, 1 pull-down bed (in the living room), walk-in closet, 2 bathrooms (one with a whirlpool hot tub).

All balcony staterooms feature a private step-out veranda accessed via sliding glass doors (kid-proof locks), plexiglass railings, outdoor deck furniture (2 chairs, 1 small table). Categories 6A-6B have wall balconies, while categories 5A-5B-5C are plexiglass. Family Verandahs are with concierge service and have a Queen-size bed (or 2 twin beds), a hidden bunk bed, a larger living area (convertible sofabed), split bathroom. Category 4E cabins are with expanded balconies (twice bigger than standard balconies) but are open to views from above.

Most Oceanview staterooms have a Large Round Window (Porthole/non-opening). Of those, categories 9C-9D are with obstructed views (due to lifeboats). Family Oceanview (category 3B) is the largest.

DCL's innovative Inside Cabin features (industry's first) "Magical Portholes" - large, round-shaped LCD screens (positioned above the beds) projecting real-time outside views which are provided by ship's cameras. Veranda Cabin's balcony is fitted with 2 deckchairs and a low table.

New cabin themes

Agrabah Staterooms are among the cheapest and are Aladdin-themed.

The two-story Rajah Royal Suites (named after the tiger living in Princess Jasmine's palace/Aladin movie) feature artistic furnishings (turquoise-gold-purple color scheme) and they decors are Marocco-themed (paintings, vases, camel figurines, peacock feathers, jewels).

The two-story Bagheera Royal Suites are themed after Disney's movie "The Jungle Book" (1967).

Note: The ship's duplex apartments are with two floors interconnected via a spiral staircase

In mid-May 2021 DCL introduced the "Tower Suite" - the fleet's (and the industry's) second-of-its-kind loft suite integrated into the forward funnel/smokestack.

The unique accommodation is sized 1965 ft2 (183 m2) and its interior design (on the Disney Treasure ship) is inspired by Walt Disney World Resort's EPCOT Theme Park. The color scheme is gold, bronze, chrome and navy blue.

The Tomorrow Tower Suite accommodates up to 8 passengers and features 2x master bedrooms, 4x full bathrooms, half-bath (powder room), library (converting to a bedroom), kids' room (with built-in bunkbeds). The living room (on the lower level) is flanked by an open dining area, a pantry, and a bar, all offering unique views across the ship's upper decks through a 2-story window wall.

The master bedrooms are both on the Penthouse's upper level and have walk-in closets, King-size double beds, floor-ceiling windows (overlooking the living area below). The main bathrooms each have rain-head showers, double-sink vanities, spa bathtubs.

The Tower Suite's magical experience includes dynamic art pieces, special lighting and sound effects (providing a one-of-a-kind greeting), futuristic (molten metal and glass) accents.

Tomorrow Tower Suite is designed with Disney-style iconography, custom-made artworks and ornaments, and materials themed on Moana's Oceania world. The predominant color patterns are soft white and calm blue. The film-inspired interior decorations also include a custom-made canvas piece with Moana sailing on the sea, dimensional props (Moana's village), and a sculpture composed of shiny objects (interpretation of the collector crab Tamatoa's dazzling collection). The kids' room features a sparkling constellation pattern lighting up the ceiling.

The "Category 1A" loft suite's guests can expect royal service from a dedicated concierge team, an array of curated experiences, a selection of daily treats, private elevator access. Treasure Tower Suite's amenities include premium bedding (plush Frette duvets, top-quality cotton linens), a deluxe pillow menu (feather-, therapeutic- and memory-foam hypoallergenic pillows), terry robes and bath towels, motorized sheer shades and curtains, a wet-bar (fully stocked with bottled water and sodas), complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, VIP access to the Concierge Lounge and an exclusive Sundeck (with 2 Jacuzzis, a Bar, a children's wading pool, premium padded lounge furniture, a dedicated pool deck host service.
