  2. True Temper Xp95 Vs Kbs Tour 90

Both the True Temper XP95 and KBS Tour 90 shafts offer a level of forgiveness for off-center hits, but the XP95 may have a slight edge in this aspect. The lighter weight of the XP95 shaft can help players maintain control and consistency even on mis-hits, while the KBS Tour 90's stability may provide a more solid feel but less forgiveness on ...

  3. True Temper XP 95 R300 vs KBS Tour 90 R

XP 95 = 95 gramme shaft. KBS Tour 90 = 90 gramme shaft. However that is the shaft uncut weight. On shaft comparison charts. XP95 = mid/high launch and mid/high spin. KBS Tour 90 mid launch and mid spin. But they are not far apart on the chart. May 24, 2021. #4.

  4. Nippon 950 iron shaft vs XP 95 vs KBS Tour 90

The Tour 90, NS Pro 950 and XP95 are all lightweight shafts, all the other Nippon shafts are heavier. jubess, you could try going up a flex in the 950 or maybe try a slightly heavier shaft like the 1050 to see if you get a lower flight. TCMuc - Good point. Jubess - The 950GH R is 94.5g SR is 97g, S is 98g, X is 104g.

  6. XP95 vs KBS 90

The XP95 felt like a noodle and I think could be a terrible choice for a harder swinger unless you're really smooth and controlled. I took lessons from a guy who plays them and thinks they're the greatest but he's a scratch player with a super smooth swing. I felt the Tour 90 held up a lot better to aggressive swings. Just my personal experience.

  8. KBS Tour 90 Shaft Review

The KBS Tour 90 shaft is the lightest steel shaft in the KBS lineup and designed to give players more spin, a higher trajectory, and greater swing speeds. Though still a firm shaft design, the Tour 90 has softer tip and higher center of gravity to help players get the ball in air with more distance. Players with lower swing speeds and smoother ...

  9. KBS Tour 90 Review

The KBS Tour 90 is an excellent shaft if you have a smooth tempo. Even if you have a fast swing speed, you can still use this shaft effectively; but the name of the game is a deliberate transition. If you get aggressive, the shaft will feel limp and your shot will be erratic. The KBS Tour 90 is a great shaft for anyone seeking more accuracy ...

  10. KBS Tour 90 Review

Design and Technology. As the lightest shaft in the KBS Tour range, the KBS Tour 90 shaft is designed to offer golfers with a slow tempo more spin, a higher trajectory, and distance. It is 20% lighter than a standard steel shaft thus aiding increasing swing, ball speeds, and distance. The firm shaft design on the Tour 90 offers a softer tip ...

  11. KBS Tour V vs True Temper XP 95

Posted October 1, 2015. I was looking into getting a set of Callaway Apex irons and these are the 2 shaft options they have. The XP95 come in stiff flex and the Tour V come in a uniflex. I'm not able to demo either club as I would be ordering them online.

  13. XP 90 vs. XP 95?

I liked the feel of the KBS Stiff C-taper lites at 110 grams. They felt like graphite and had a better ball dispersion on the monitor compared to a Stiff C-Taper. My thinking was that if 110 grams was good, maybe 95 would be better. The T-MBs I bought have the XP-90 shaft Stiff at 95 grams. Just a few practice sessions, but like them a lot.

  14. True Temper vs. KBS: Which Is Better For You?

True Temper vs. KBS: Overview. True Temper is one of the leading brands in golf shaft technology. Its shafts have been the front-runner on the PGA Tour for over 70 years. The proprietary Variable Wall Technology of the brand is a massive leap in varying the wall thickness in the shaft development, which gives improved performance.

  15. True Temper XP95

Posted February 18, 2014. IMO the XP95 S300 is fairly close to the KBS Tour 90 stiff. Both are high launching. And if you read some stuff on here about the Tour 90, people say it frequencies closer to a reg flex. I thought the XP95 felt a little more stable than the Tour 90, but it has been a while since I hit a Tour 90 so my memory may be off.

  16. True Temper Elevate 95 vs KBS Tour 90

Weight: True Temper Elevate 95 vs KBS Tour 90. The only difference between the Elevate 95 and KBS Tour 90 is the weight options. The Elevate 95 has 93 g and 94 g options whereas the Tour 90 has 95 g and 102 g options. That means that the KBS Tour 90 is heavier than the Elevate 95. Generally speaking, a heavier golf shaft slows down the average ...

  19. True Temper Elevate Shaft Review

The Elevate Tour, which I tested, is heavier and comes in three flexes. The X-Flex weighs 122 grams, stiff weighs 117 grams, and regular flex is 112 grams. The Elevate 95 is lighter and available in two flexes - stiff is 98 grams, regular is 96 grams. Per True Temper, the Elevate 95 provides higher launch and higher spin and is best for ...

  21. True Temper XP versus KBS Tour 105 Shaft Review

The shaft lengths and flexes were within the tolerances of our testers. Launch Angle: Launch angles for the KBS Tour 105 R, S, and X were .5-.7* lower than the XP 115 R and S. Both the XP and KBS 105 are mid-launch shafts. Spin Rate: Both the KBS Tour 105 and XP 105 and 115 exhibited mid-spin and were within 50 rpm of each other at roughly 5200 ...

  22. Anybody have KBS Tour 90 Regular Flex steel shafts ? Do they ...

Based on my swing speed I'm in between Regular and Stiff (tend to hit a 7-iron 155-160), but have a fairly smooth swing. I currently have stiff True Temper steel shafts in my irons and hit them pretty straight, but have a chance to get some newer Wilson Staff C200s with the aforementioned Regular flex shaft for dirt cheap (but I can't hit them first), but am concerned if going to a Regular ...
