Flying with a pram and carrycot

joannec91 · 31/08/2018 15:02

My baby will be 2 months on her first flight. I really need to put the pram chassis and carrycot into some sort of travel bag as I've heard airport staff can be rough with luggage and prams. I've tried to research some stuff online but it seems like almost everything is for strollers or is super expensive. And she will also be sleeping in a carrycot. What do you put your pram chassis and carrycot in when flying?

I have silver cross pioneer

The pram chassis would have to go in the hold. You should be able to drop it off/collect it at the aircraft side but that depends on the airline. If you are taking a carrycot, what will your baby travel in? Are you going to take a car seat too? Personally I would take the car seat part into the cabin and pack a travel cot for sleeping in. You are unlikely to be able to get your own carry for out in the aircraft cabin and there will be nowhere to store it safely. The airline I work for would provide you with a bassinet that fits their seating on a long haul flight (must be prebooked though.) I travelled with my daughter when she was 3 months and took nothing but a sling on board. But I admit I am happier than most travelling light.

Just read it would be a Silver Cross - my honest advice would be to buy something much cheaper for a trip! You can always sell it again afterwards.

I've never had a pram be damaged whilst flying. They do get thrown around though. Some airlines (emirates and air canada that I've used) give you big bags to put prams and car seats in. They are only plastic though so wouldn't protect against more than scratches. I'm abroad with 3.5 month old DC2 and I've just brought a carrier with me, so much easier than the faff of taking the pram with us.

My pram was damaged by Air Brussels on a recent trip to Canada and I'd put it into a travel bag that I'd got from EBay. The hood was torn and the handle scratched really bad. I'm currently trying to get compensation for the damage. I'd personally, buy a cheap stroller and not take your best pram. But as baby is only 2 months old and you want to use your carry cot for baby to sleep in, id get a really good heavy duty travel bag (not a cheap one like me) and make sure your pram is nice and safe inside it.

@joannec91 don't take it!! i have a silver cross pioneer pushchair, and i've bought a cheap stroller to take, no way am i taking my expensive travel system on a plane where it will in all likelyhood get broken. Most strollers lie flat and can be used from birth so will fine for 2 month old.

I'm flying with a Silver Cross Pioneer on Wednesday. I've ordered a pram travel bag and car seat cover from a company called Genesis online- they are padded. I'm bringing the pram and car seat through the airport and putting them in the hold at the gate. Travelling on my own with my son (4.5 months) so need it at both ends

Take a cheap pushshair you can pack down small rather than struggling with a carrycot. Can you get someone to provide a travel cot when you arrive and just take your own sheets? We had a stroller bag from Amazon (think the brand was Diono?) and it was great. We did 5/6 overseas trips with no damage.

Amazon: Across Amazon, the Stomp V3 received a 4.5 out of 5 star rating from 344 reviews. One reviewer said, "This is an absolutely stunning, clever, all-inclusive baby travel system. It comes with EVERYTHING you need to transport your baby - carry cot, car seat, adaptable chassis, carry bag, changing mat …. even car window shields. It feels like it's been lovingly designed with parents and babies in mind. It's easy to switch between all the different options and the pram and car seats are comfortable, safe and secure. Absolutely lovely."

Ickle Bubba: On the Ickle Bubba website, the Stomp V3 received a 4.7 out of 5 star rating from 270 reviews . One reviewer said, "Purchased for my daughter due in August. Carrycot, pushchair and car seat were all easy to set up and all looked great. Great that the handle has two heights. Seems easy to collapse and change from pram to carpet etc. Lovely matching changing bag too."

Boots: The reviews on Boots show that the Stomp V3 received a 4.7 out of 5 star rating from 210 reviews . One reviewer said, "I purchased this travel system as a gift for my daughter who is expecting her first child. We could not have been happier with the purchasing and delivery, everything included in this system, pram looks lovely, it was easy to set up, instructions were clear and easy to follow. I have been really impressed with this product and the value for money it offered, would defiantly recommend to others."

In comparison to other travel systems that offer similiar features, the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 is within the affordable to medium range of the price bracket. Taking into consideration that some travel systems can cost anywhere up to £1,100, the Stomp V3 has a price tag of £499.99 with savings of £100 from it's original £599.99 recommended retail price, which is nothing to be scoffed at.

However, the Stomp V3 can range in price depending on where it's bought from and the design chosen. Amazon offers the Stomp V3 from the range of £499.99 - £599.99. Ickle Bubba firmly lists the product at £499.99. Whereas the most expensive option, Boots, retails at £549.99.

Testing the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System

At Mother & Baby, we were assisted with help from our Mother & Baby Testers to review the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System. During the testing process, we were testing for its overall performance, usability and build. Here's what our testers had to say about the Stomp V3.

Mother & Baby Tester, Devon, said: "I would recommend the Stomp V3 to other mums, as not only is it good value for money with the ISOFIX base included, but the design is also lovely. I really liked the flexi hood on the car seat and pram and the seat can recline into three different positions, which is really handy. The pram also has a large netted shopping basket underneath which is brilliant for carrying shopping and all the supplies you need when out with a little one.

I found the Stomp V3 to be extremely lightweight – it was very easy to move around and assemble. I also found that the added inclusion of the ISOFIX within the package very useful; it made getting my baby in and out of the car very easy, as I just had to clip the car seat in and unclip it get it out. No more stretching the belt around the car seat which is a relief as I own a small three door car!"

Mother & Baby Tester, Jessica, said: "I would definitely recommend the Stomp V3 to my friends – it is incredibly good value for money, and you truly don't need to think about anything else (such as a foot muff in cold weather) as it comes with everything you need! I need to go up and down steps to get in and out of my house and was particularly pleased with the lightweight chassis and the fact I can fold down the pram without having to remove the seat. As I live in the centre of a city, the large shopping basket is great and holds my changing bag as well as other shopping. I think the pram looks stylish and can compete with the more expensive looking prams.

An all in one travel system is perfect for parents who need to use a car regularly as the car seat can just clip onto the pram chassis – this is especially convenient when heading to the supermarket, or for a quick trip into town. It is also great for when you have a sleeping baby and you don't want to disturb them. The additional benefit is that the product comes with a carrycot and a seat which both clip onto the chassis, meaning that the travel system is usable for many years."

Mother & Baby Tester, Samantha, said: "This pushchair made my life easier as the large hood pulls right over the baby, which is great in the hot weather or when it’s raining, but also if you have a baby that struggles to switch off and sleep when out and about. Being an active family, we also found that we could jog with the pushchair as it was so lightweight."

Mother & Baby Tester, Claire, said: "For the price, you can't fault the Stomp V3, as it really is value for money. If you are a mum on a budget – this is for you. Equally, this would be a great bundle for a regular caregiver, as they can have the system ready to use easily when they are looking after the child. Also, it is not bulky to store or transport, and for a busy mum, this would be ideal."

Mother & Baby Tester, Leanne, said: "I would as I loved the size and material of the hood – I found it really big and airy. On hot days, your baby is protected by the hood which is really reassuring. The pram is very light and bouncy to push, in fact, I was able to take my baby out for a run with the pram! I found being able to change the main seat into a carrycot just by changing over the material was a big plus, both in terms of ease and storage."

How does the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System compare to previous versions?

Ickle bubba stomp v2.

The Stomp V2 is the previous version from Ickle Bubba, launched in 2014. So, what has improved since the creation of the Stomp V3? Just take a look at this demonstrative video from Baby Security and Ickle Bubba to see the main differences between the Stomp V2 and Stomp V3.

The main thing you'll notice between the two is the appearance, with the Stomp V3 looking much more premium than it's predecessor. Made with more muted colours on offer and better quality materials, the Stomp V3 is a more streamlined, sleek and sturdy product.

Another thing is the addition of accessories, with the Stomp V3 also including a changing bag and mat, sun visors and more. However, it's main similarities are convenience, with the two products offering versatility that is sure to come in handy when transporting baby.

How does the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System compare to rival products?

Finally, our testers helped us to weigh up the comparisons between the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System and other competitors on the market. Here's what our testers had to say about whether the Stomp V3 stood up to other rival products.

Mother & Baby Tester, Devon, said: "Personally, I would not buy this product for myself as it lacked character – I prefer the vibrant, bold designs of the Cosatto travel system. The newborn cot part of the pram was not sturdy – the base of the cot was very flimsy and came away easily. The quality of the finish was also a sign of the price, as the plastic was thin and frayed in areas. The pram was very light, which can be a bonus, but it also felt like it could fall over easily. In general, I felt that the overall quality of the travel system was not what I would usually go for; however, I would recommend it to parents who are looking for a more affordable travel system."

Mother & Baby Tester, Samantha, said: "Yes, I would recommend this product as a cost-effective travel system. I don't feel that the quality is as good as some alternatives on the market, however there are some good features. I use an iCandy and you can feel the difference in the quality of product. There are certain features that I would like to have, in particular the large hood and lightweight design, but I found the Stomp V3 quite flimsy. That said, for the price I do think it is good for value."

Mother & Baby Tester, Claire, said: "I would recommend the Stomp V3 to a mum on a budget – it has everything you need to get from A to B and Ickle Bubba have done all the thinking for you here. The pram and buggy pieces fit on the same frame (similar to the bugaboo setup) and this makes storing the travel system easier when not in use. You get a lot of bang for your buck and it is practical, functional and actually fairly stylish.

This is a one stop shop for all your transport needs – pram, buggy, car seat and ISOFIX base. It even comes with a changing bag and all the rain covers as standard. It's easy to transfer the car seat to the buggy frame and you don't have to purchase separate car adapters as you do with many other higher priced buggies.

The car seat is much lighter than others on the market which is a definite plus, and the system to adjust the height of the straps was great. However, when it comes to car seat, this seems much less supportive if you were in an accident – it seemed less robust than other brands on the market, which would make me pause before purchasing."

Mother & Baby Tester, Jessica, said: "Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose this product above others on the market. I couldn't use the car seat in my car as I do not have ISOFIX settings. I also found my son sliding to the top end of the carry cot, which made me worry that it was not secure enough."

Final thoughts

In summary, the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System stood out as being a fairly affordable travel system to most, and some of our Mother & Baby testers were amazed with the amount of accessories that it came with. A lot of our testers praised this model as making their life easier due to convenience and practicality. Not to mention, the incredibly lightweight chassis making it easier to transport.

However, some of the testers prefered their own travel systems due to the fact they felt the Stomp V3 was a little flimsy, lacking in support and of a lower quality than their own. Despite this, the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 travel system remains a contender in the list of affordable travel systems.

How to use the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 Travel System?

ISOFIX An ISOFIX base is an internationally standardised car seat fitting system. It automatically locks your car seat or car seat base onto two metal clips called ISOFIX fixing points.

Travel system A travel system is a buggy with a detachable car seat. The car seat can be easily secured or detached from your buggy to make it as easy as possible for you to move baby from the car to the buggy.

The 8 Best Pram, Carrycot and Car Seat Travel Systems, Recommended By Parents

All The Gear, No Idea is a regular series from HuffPost Finds where we feature product recommendations for parents, by parents.

There’s not much more baffling when you’re preparing to become a parent for the first time than pram paraphernalia.

And if you’re anything like I was - seven years ago, with a tiny, squirming new baby - you’ll soon realise that you don’t just need a pram, at all. You need a pram that fits a carrycot and a car seat... in one.

As I soon learned, it’s much easier to move your sleeping baby from the pram to the car while keeping them in their car seat, rather than having to pick them up to transfer them to the car. That way, screaming lies. Shudder.

Travel systems might be more expensive than a stroller or single pram (and if you can beg, steal or borrow the components separately, then do so), but if you’re looking for a new purchase, then go for an all-in-one. Trust me.

They work like this: you have a pushchair chassis (ideally compact, study and lightweight) that can hold either a carrycot or the pushchair’s standard, forward-facing seat.

There will usually be adaptors included (or sold separately) to fit a rear-facing car seat, too - and all three can be changed around at the click of a button.

Sometimes the car seat is included in the price of the travel system, but most simply include the adaptors to fit the most commonly-known brands, such as Maxi Cosi or Britax (meaning you can use it with a second-hand or borrowed car seat to save money).

Here are the best of the bunch, as recommended by HuffPost readers who’ve been there.

Baby Jogger City Mini Single i-Size Complete Travel System, The Baby Room, £531.99

Baby Jogger City Mini Single i-Size Complete Travel System, The Baby Room , £531.99

This complete Baby Jogger travel system can be used from birth. It comes with a compact carrycot, a City Go i-Size car seat and adaptors, allowing you to change easily from car to stroller. It comes with a lifetime frame warranty and a one-year textiles warranty, too.

Review: Lucy Tran, mum of two

“The Baby Jogger pushchair collapses in one quick easy movement and can be used from birth. It has a carrycot and a normal pram attachment, and you can also use it with a car seat. It’s very sturdy. I’ve used it every day for five years! It’s been on loads of long-haul flights and is still as strong as ever. It’s medium range price, too, so excellent value for money.”

Bugaboo Donkey 2 Twin Travel System, Bugaboo, from £1,430

Bugaboo Donkey 2 Twin Travel System, Bugaboo , from £1,430

Bought new, Bugaboo comes with a three-year warranty. This version includes two pushchairs (each 74cm wide), which weigh 15kg. It folds down in one piece, and the seats are designed to hold infants weighing up to 22kg per seat. There’s a roomy storage basket under the seats that can hold up to 28 litres (10kg). Adaptors are compatible with Chicco, Britax-Romer and Maxi Cosi car seats.

Review: Hannah Hearne, mum of three

“I love it! You buy an adapter and can slot car seats in. You can buy a single or double adapter, so you can have one or two car seats at the same time. It looks huge, but it’s really easy to manoeuvre - so much easier than the single Britax I had for baby number one. The downsides are that it’s wide, and sometimes you struggle to get through doors, so I spend a lot of time telling people off for their premises not being accessible! But I’m still using it and the twins are two-and-a-half, now.”

ABC Design 2018 Salsa 4 Pushchair & Carrycot (Piano), Amazon, £459

ABC Design 2018 Salsa 4 Pushchair & Carrycot (Piano), Amazon , £459

This doesn’t come with a car seat included but can be adapted to fit Maxi Cosi, Kiddy and Cybex car seats on the same chassis. The carrycot and seat unit are available from birth and can fit infants up to 25kg. The carrycot can also be used for overnight sleeping, meaning you’ll be saving on the cost of a Moses basket. It also includes a matching rain cover, cup holder and mosquito net.

Review: Sian Kneller, mum of one

“I had an ABC Design travel system - the Turbo 6 - and found it solid and well-made and easy to fold down. They look elegant and have good storage capacity, such as a basket and clips for a changing bag. I never see it on any comparison sites - maybe because it’s a German brand.”

*The Turbo 6 is no longer available, but we checked the specifications and found them comparable to this model by the same manufacturer.

Doona Infant Car Seat Stroller, Kiddies Kingdom, £265

Doona Infant Car Seat Stroller, Kiddies Kingdom , £265

This is the only car seat in the world with integrated wheels. The Doona goes from seat to stroller in seconds. It’s suitable from birth until 13kg. This version comes with a free rain cover, worth £24.99. We’ve never seen a product like this before - and couldn’t stop watching this video .

Review: Holly Whiteford, mum of one

“The Doona was the best thing I’ve ever bought. My son is too big for it now and I miss it every single day! It just made everything so much easier. I never had to get the pram out of the car when I was quickly popping to the shops or doing the school run, and I didn’t have to transfer my sleeping son from car seat to pram. I would recommended it to every new mum!”

Stokke® Xplory® Black, Stokke, from £671.30

Stokke® Xplory® Black, Stokke , from £671.30

The Stokke stroller looks different to any other on the market - because of its height. The idea, the manufacturers say, is to raise your baby higher “to promote eye contact and connection”, which we love. Suitable from birth, the Stokke is a travel system when combined with the additional Stokke Xplory carrycot (£125, buy it here ) or the Stokke® iZi Go™ X1 car seat by BeSafe® (£229, buy it here ) - which can be used without need for extra adaptors. Or, you can buy the adaptors as accessories for use with other car seat models, such as the Chicco (£42, buy it here ).

Review: Laura Johns, mum of two

“The Stokke is more expensive than other travel systems, but as soon as I saw it, I fell in love with it. It’s slim and sleek and you can easily take it into shops without worrying you’re going to knock everything over! I’ve used it for both children and found having conversations with them while they were in it really easy, because they were almost at my eye level.”

Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle Complete Travel System, The Baby Room, £722

Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle Complete Travel System, The Baby Room , £722

If you like going off-road, this might just be the travel system for you. It’s touted as an “all-rounder for parents who want flexibility” - and promises a one-hand fast fold, a conveniently located hand-braking system, rear wheel suspension and 12-inch air-filled tyres. This package comes with the ‘Protect Car Seat and Carrycot’, as well as car seat adaptors, a shopping basket, storage pockets and a bottle holder. It has a warranty for up to three years.

Review: Carla Pedonomou, mum of four

“I love the Mountain Buggy because it’s great for taking the kids to school and for taking the dog for a walk. It has inflated wheels and is excellent for the forest. We live right by the woods and we’re always in there.”

iCandy Raspberry Pushchair in Chrome/Bloomsbury Black, John Lewis, from £580

iCandy Raspberry Pushchair in Chrome/Bloomsbury Black, John Lewis , from £580

The iCandy is aimed at urban parents, because it’s lightweight (just 6.6kg), compact and nimble - perfect for nipping in and out of busy streets. The pushchair is light and easily foldable, and comes in a 3-in-1 design to adapt to a car seat, a carrycot and a reversible seat position. The reclinable seat can also be adjusted to three different positions: to sit the baby up straight when awake, recline when relaxed or lie flat when asleep. The baby faces the parent and there’s a concealed storage pod which holds weight up to 5kg. There’s an optional Raspberry Universal carrycot (sold separately for £180, buy it here ). Car seat adaptors are sold separately and the iCandy fits a range of car seats, including Maxi Cosi, BeSafe and Kiddy Evolution. It comes with a five-year guarantee.

Review: Matt Thomas, dad of one

“We chose it because it was lightweight and narrow (it fits through the tube barriers, not just the big gates), and we could use it with a car seat. It says you can use the buggy from newborn with a special pod, but I’m glad we bought the pram attachment which was nice and cosy. I like the fact it’s so manoeuvrable. There’s no bar, so the baby feels a bit out in the open sometimes, but there are other plus points - like a giant basket. We bring nets of logs home in it for the fire.”

BABYZEN YOYO+ Pushchair, Black/Black, John Lewis, from £389

BABYZEN YOYO+ Pushchair, Black/Black, John Lewis , from £389

The BABYZEN YOYO+ is described as a “one pocket-rocker travel system”, eliminating the need for multiple strollers. Ideal for everything from everyday errands, to travelling by car, bus, train or plane. To use the YOYO+ from birth you’ll need to purchase the BABYZEN YOYO+ Newborn Pack (including carry-cot, sold separately for £190, buy it here ). There’s also a coordinating car seat: the BABYZEN iZi Go Modular by BeSafe (sold separately for £240, including adapters, buy it here ) - which you can connect to the stroller frame in just two clicks. If you want to use the pram chassis with other car seats - such as Maxi Cosi, BeSafe and Cybex - you’ll need these adaptors (sold separately for £53.96, buy it here ).

Review: Sarah Williams, mum of one

“I absolutely love the Babyzen Yoyo. It’s my first baby and he’s very active. The Babyzen is perfect for him as it’s light and compact and I can get him in and out of it easily. It can go on the plane as hand luggage because it’s so small - which was handy on a recent long-haul trip to South Africa, as we could take it through the gate and on to the plane with us. It’s not hugely expensive. The only downside is that it’s not brilliant off-road.”

Whats good?

  • High quality finish
  • Ready to use from birth without additional purchases
  • Large basket

Whats not so good?

  • Two piece fold

Our verdict.

Designed as a one stop solution for parents with its longevity, functionality and durability, the iCandy Peach has been a favourite amongst many since its first release in 2009. Here we take a look at the new 2022 version to see what alterations iCandy have made to an already very popular pushchair.

With a basis as a fashion design and manufacturing company, iCandy has four core principles; quality, innovation, heritage and style. With this in mind their range of pushchairs have all long been popular with fashion conscious parents.

The Peach is their all-rounder which suits many parent setups. Great for strutting around town, robust enough for more adventurous trips and available in either single, double or twin mode there is very little this pushchair cannot do.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

Unboxing and assembling the chassis was very straightforward, just putting the rear wheels on had the frame ready to go. Having had a very recognisable rounded handlebar for the previous models, the very first thing we noticed was the new ergonomic “teardrop” handle shape. A sleek new rubber iCandy label replaces the raised rubber parts of its predecessor, giving the handle a much more stylish finish and increased usable handle space. We would say that when folding or standing the frame on harder surfaces, we did chip the emblem, but as it is there to protect your handle bar from the ground this is to be expected and our leatherette handle never encountered any damage.

The chassis comes in the very popular Phantom finish, though there will also be the Black Edition available for those who prefer an even darker frame.

The handle has four different height options ranging from 95cm to 105 cm. The adjustment is telescopic and altered with the trigger button located in the middle of the handle bar. On the inside of the handle there are also hooks to hang your changing bag. The iCandy bag is available either as an additional purchase or part of a bundle and has been updated to a backpack style, which is very popular with modern parents.

The great all round suspension has been carried over from previous models, so the Peach can be used over many surfaces. Not limited to urban use, we felt at ease pushing around our more rural environment. The front wheels can be locked into the forward facing position when encountering bumpier surfaces such as gravel, grass or cobbles. Just align the wheels and click the buttons on each wheel into place.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

The wheels, tyres and fork assembly have also been changed on the new model. With a sleeker and lighter appearance, this also modernises what could have previously been seen as a “chunky” pushchair. The large rear wheels gave a great ride over mixed terrains and are also quick release for compact storage if needed. All four wheels now have a raised ridge in the middle, making what is a very sturdy multi-use pushchair, very nimble around the more urban environment.

Another great addition to this model is the new integrated ride on board with 20kg capacity. This gives parents a great extra use to the pushchair out of the box and makes it more compact, even when set up for use with an older child. Our three year old tester loved hopping on to rest his legs on those longer walks. With the board and elevators, the pushchair has seven modes to use it in, without having to purchase anything else. The only thing worth noting is that using the seat on the elevators does reduce the weight capacity to 15kg, though we still feel this is ample for most situations.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

As the car seat adapters are also included, you only need a compatible car seat to create an additional three modes for your travel system. We found using a car seat combined with the buggy board was perfect for the preschool drop off. We would always recommend limiting time spent in a car seat to around 20-30 minutes, particularly in the first 6-8 weeks, but for quick trips this is a great solution to minimise disruption to your sleeping infant.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

Another reason the Peach has been so popular is its versatility. With the addition of the converter brackets, which can either be purchased separately or included in a double or twin purchase, you gain an additional seven seat modes and four car seat modes.

The basket retains its very large size. With a capacity of 10kg, we were able to use it for all of our essentials as well as some shopping on our travels. We would note that when using the carrycot without elevators, your access to the basket is slightly limited, though as the elevators are included as standard, this was not much of an issue.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

There is a brake pedal located to the right of the rear axle. Simply click down to engage and kick up to release. Although not hard to release, we were a little surprised iCandy hadn't opted for the more “flip-flop friendly” trend so many other pushchair brands are using. However with a focus on manufacturing quality, perhaps they feel this is a simpler and more reliable option.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

In the box you receive one seat frame and two sets of fabrics. Though fixing the seat fabrics can be time consuming, it isn’t too difficult to do. For this reason we would recommend pre-planning your switch from carrycot to seat unit, to give you time to swap over, once baby reaches around six months old.

The fabrics available on the Phantom chassis are Light Grey, Truffle, Moss Green or the Dark Grey that we have been reviewing. There is also a Black edition with black fabrics on a black chassis for fans of a monochrome finish. The fabrics themselves are beautiful; highlighting iCandy’s nearly 90 years experience as a fashion design and manufacturing company. A new knitted jersey fabric has been used, which is super soft and thick for both comfort and protection of the passenger in either set-up.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

Starting with the carrycot for the first six months, first impressions were of the very generous size. With a 9kg weight limit, deep sides and ample length, we doubt any babies will outgrow the space early. Fleece lined and well ventilated, the carrycot provides a very comfy and safe space for infants to travel in.

Approved for permanent overnight sleep, the carrycot can also provide parents with a safe additional sleep space, potentially minimizing additional purchases for the house or travel. The mattress cover and carrycot lining are machine washable for added convenience. The apron is zipped on for a secure fit, though we did find the zip a little hidden and fiddly to operate. There were odd occasions when we found ourselves laying the apron back down only half zipped to allow quick access to a fussy infant. However with the new heavier knitted fabrics, it still felt secure and gave ample wind protection, particularly when partnered with a pram suit or blanket.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

The bumper bar can be used as a handle for lifting the carrycot off the frame. Press in the two circular buttons on either side and the unit lifts off. This is a two handed job, though we did find it easy to do one side then the other by keeping the carrycot lifted with the bumper bar to prevent having to lean over and do both simultaneously. There are also four feet on the bottom, keeping the base off the floor. We found this protected the beautiful fabric finish even when placed on the floor while the pushchair was being folded for the boot.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

Utilised for both carrycot and seat set-ups, the canopy operates with a simple pull up and push down, great for quick access to your little one without fiddling with additional buttons. There is a pop out sun visor and a zipped away extension providing generous coverage with SPF50+ protection. The ventilation window, which is covered with a thick fabric flap, is larger than the previous models increasing airflow for those warmer days and giving parents a larger viewing window of their passenger.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

The seat unit has seen the most changes from the previous model. At first glance the new cut and sew are very prominent. The new fabric combined with additional foam wadding and new stitch pattern create a very plush seat for little ones comfort. There is also an additional head cushion and improved harness padding for toddlers shoulders, chest and crotch. We particularly liked the deep padded seat sides and 20mm longer seat back, which even made our nearly four year old tester look comfortable!

travel bag for pram and carrycot

Adjusted single handedly with the button at the back of the seat, there are four recline positions - perfect for a nap on the go. The calf rest can also be adjusted to three different positions using the two buttons on the sides.

Not satisfied with improving the seat just for the passenger, iCandy have also made a few alterations with parents in mind. The first improvement we love is the new non-thread harness adjustment. No longer requiring parents to undo fabric, simply pull on the new head support cushion to adjust to one of the three harness height options. The bumper bar gate opens as before, but the improved shoulder padding holds the five point harness open to help parents load in their wiggly toddlers.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

Finally there is the new Pip-zip bag on the back of the seat. Dual purpose, it can be used simply as additional storage pockets on the seat or removed and used to carry your essentials around away from the pushchair. The carry handle is stored away when zipped onto the seat, making this a secret little carry bag for added convenience and security. We found this especially handy when wanting to leave the house without a changing bag. Off for a walk we could pack valuables like a phone and keys away securely, but also had room for things such as an emergency nappy or dummy, which may not feel safe or clean in the basket.

travel bag for pram and carrycot

The fold style remains the same as previous models, though the trigger has been improved. Easy to do with one hand; engage the break, squeeze the handlebar height trigger and shunt the handle down. The handle will fold down toward the rear wheels, then grab the carry strap in the middle of the basket and pull up to fold. We would recommend ensuring your wheels are not in the fixed position as this will prevent the frame from locking into the folded position.

The lock is a grey button located on the inside of the right center hinge. Once locked the frame will free stand using the handlebar and the front wheels for support, though as said before we did mark the handlebar protection when standing it on outside surfaces. To release, press the grey button in, let the front wheels roll out then lift the handle bar up. Although not the lightest of frames, the fold and unfold mechanism on this pushchair means very little lifting is needed. We only had to lift in and out of the car, for which the carry strap was very helpful.

As a two piece fold, all accessories need removing from the frame before folding. This includes car seat adapters or elevators, though your converter brackets for double and twin modes can be left in place. A two piece fold may not be the quickest way to load the pushchair, though it did help limit the weight needed to be lifted. As the seat and carrycot use the same frame, the function to remove them from the frame remains the same and therefore is quick and easy to do.

With typical iCandy style, the Peach 7 has some great improvements on its predecessors. What is clear with this latest version is iCandy’s continued ethos to “create products that are both beautiful on the outside but engineered to perfection on the inside”.

Provided with an amazing 5 year warranty this is a pushchair built to last and with so much versatility the Peach can tackle most parenting needs. With bundles and matching accessories available, parents can purchase this pushchair in the way that best suits them; from a future proof single to a trendy twin.

The changes made such as the new seat size, style and fabric and the integrated ride on board, we believe, will only further cement the Peach’s frequent place in most top 10 lists.

Looking for an easy and affordable way to get out and about with your baby? Find all the products you need, and save money too, with our pick of the best travel systems and pushchair bundles.

We’ve compared ten of the best travel system bundles, from inexpensive but reliable options to more luxurious models.

What is a travel system bundle?

A bundle is typically a set comprising a pushchair, a carrycot or bassinet, a car seat and the relevant base and / or adapters, offering all items you need to travel with your baby in one package. Bundles are generally great value and will often include nice extras like a matching changing bag, raincovers, cup holders and more.

Why buy a bundle?

There are several advantages to buying a bundle. Firstly, you know for sure that all items are compatible with each other, as they’re all from the same brand and have been packaged together specifically because they complement each other. The fabrics will all match, which makes the whole set look smart and stylish. Perhaps best of all you’ll save some money, as bundles offer great value compared to buying items individually.

What to look for in a travel system / pushchair bundle

Carrycot – If the bundle includes a carrycot for newborns, check if it can be used for safe overnight sleeping as this could save you having to buy a crib or travel cot. If space is at a premium, you may prefer to choose a pushchair with a seat that transforms into a bassinet instead.

More like this

Pushchair design – A small, lightweight pushchair is ideal if you’re short on space, and will enable you to hop on and off buses and trains with ease. If, however, you’ll mostly be walking over rough ground, you might decide to buy an all-terrain or more rugged pushchair.

Seat safety – Medical advice strongly suggests that your baby should lie completely flat for the first months and although most of these pushchairs have seats that are advertised for use from birth, some recline at 150° rather than the totally flat 180°. In these cases, opting for a bundle with a separate carrycot may be preferable.

Car seat – Some car seats can be secured using the car’s seat belt, but this can be fiddly, so make sure you read the instructions carefully to ensure it’s fitted safely. An ISOFIX base is often easier to fit correctly and can be left in the car, meaning that it’s quicker and easier to put your baby safely in the car for each journey.

True value - Prices of bundles vary wildly, and we have included bundles from as little as £189 up to £1400 in our list. Generally, the higher prices denote higher quality pushchairs that may feel more sturdy and have more features, but it’s also important to check what’s included in the bundles and really think about whether you would use all the accessories. Sometimes the prices are bumped up with extras that are not necessary for all families.

Are there any downsides to buying a bundle?

Since you can’t mix and match, you may have to compromise on some items. Your dream pushchair might come with a car seat that’s not ideal, such as a first stage seat that won’t fit your child for as long as other models. Also, it’s worth noting that some manufacturers use these bundles to sell slightly older car seat models, but that’s only really a concern if you are interested in a specific feature from a newer style.

What do you need to know before buying a travel system bundle?

The most important thing to check is whether the car seat will fit your car. This will, in turn, influence the pushchair you can buy. Before buying anything at all, research which car seats are compatible with your car and go from there. The product description or manufacturer’s website should have this information.

Please note that the weight given for the pushchairs is for the chassis plus the seat unit. At MadeForMums we have also reviewed many of the pushchairs mentioned, so take a moment to read the full reviews for further insight.

How did we choose our 10 of the Best?

Here's our pick of the best travel system bundles..., 1. kinderkraft xmoov 3 in 1, £339.95, best for smart style on a budget.

Kinderkraft XMOOV 3 in 1

Bundle includes: Pushchair, carrycot, car seat, raincover, footmuff, mosquito net, changing maternity stroller bag, Joie travel cot, Chicco baby carrier and Chicco Pocket Snack booster seat

Suitable for : birth to 22 kg | Pushchair weight: 17.5kg | Carrycot included: Yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 3.4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included : yes | Other accessories included: yes

This pushchair bundle looks more premium than its price would suggest and it has a seat unit that doubles as a bassinet, meaning you have less gear to store. It’s a great does-it-all set for families on a budget. Our tester Jodie said: “I highly recommend this product and wish I had purchased it for my first child, rather than spending five times the price on a different model.”

The pushchair seat has 3 recline positions and it can face the parent or the world. The chassis features all-round suspension and large, inflatable wheels for a comfortable ride over even bumpy ground. As Jodie remarks: “I’m very impressed with how sturdy it is. I could push it easily up kerbs, on grass and on my gravel driveway. It was easy to change direction and I felt confident manoeuvring it with ease.” It’s lightweight and easy to fold.

The Mink car seat can be snapped onto the pushchair chassis using the adapters included in the bundle, and it’s easy to remove to transfer it to the car. “It wasn’t fiddly at all and very straightforward,” says Jodie. It fits rearward facing, using the car’s seat belt and can be used up to 13kg (around 2 years).

Thus bundle also features a travel cot and booster seat.

Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis, wheels and basket, carrycot with multi hood and apron, carrycot mattress, seat unit, chest pads, crotch pad, bumper bar, rain cover, travel companion toy, RAC port i-size car seat, adaptors, i-size base, changing bag and footmuff

Suitable for: birth to 20kg | Pushchair weight: 8.6kg | Carrycot included: yes, suitable for overnight sleeping | Car seat included: yes, i-Size to 87cm | Car seat base included : yes | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes

Cosatto is known for its eye-catching fabrics and you will really stand out with this travel system. The Giggle Quad is a sturdy four-wheeler and tester Alex comments: “The buggy felt solid and good quality – a premium product,” although she was concerned the seat unit was a little hard. It will hold kids up to 20kg (over 4 years) though Alex says: “the 90cm-long seat unit was too short for my 17kg son to sit in truly comfortably and he has only just turned three.”

Our tester found this pushchair easy to manoeuvre, saying “I could comfortably push the Giggle Quad with one hand.” It’s also easy to fold and collapses with the seat unit attached, although Alex does comment that it’s not ideal for using on public transport as it’s not as compact as some pushchairs.

The car seat is made with safety experts the RAC and comes with both adapters to snap it onto your pushchair frame and a handy ISOFIX base. Alex reports: “The seat clicks on fairly smoothly. I did find lining it up with the adaptor slots a little jerky to start, but I soon got used to it.” It grows to fit your baby with a one-handed adjustment and has 3 recline positions when used with the base.

MFM home tester Charlie, mum of 3 year old son and 18 month old daughter said, "we loved the patterns and how many there were to choose from. We also loved that the travel system all matched including the nappy bag. It was great for being really versatile too. It was easy to adjust for our child as they got older". She also commented, how when she had an issue Cosatto were good at helping her get it fixed. However, she did say "it's very bulky and not possible to fit in a small boot with a food shop". This is helpful to know if you have a small car.

3. Venicci Tinum, £829

– best for a contemporary, urban look.

Venicci-Tinium

Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis, seat unit, raincover, mosquito net, apron, footmuff (made from attaching the carrycot insert to the pram cover); carrycot, with raincover and mosquito net; i-Size car seat and base, plus adapters; changing bag

Suitable for: birth to 22kg | Pushchair weight: 11.6kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes to 13kg| Car seat weight : 3.kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: yes

This sleek and stylish bundle has all you need for travel with a baby, plus plenty of extra accessories. The Tinum has a chassis in lightweight aluminium and comes with a generous carrycot to use from birth, which clicks easily onto the chassis. It also has a backrest you can raise (great for babies with colic or reflux) but it’s not suitable for overnight sleeping. Tester Maxine adds: “The netting incorporated within the hood was a nice feature, for more fresh air to breath in and for my daughter to enjoy her surroundings more.”

It’s easy to swap between seat, carrycot and car seat on this pushchair, as all parts that ‘move’ are colour coded, and it also has a simple fold. Maxine says: “I was genuinely surprised how easy it was when I first folded it down and loved the way the handle is incorporated in the folding down mechanism.”

The wheels are large for a smooth ride and it has really good suspension. Maxine commented: “The best part of the pram is being able to steer it pretty easily with one hand” The car seat is light, compact and easy to use too. Maxine says: “The ISOFIX safety feature is a great touch; it shows you if you have the seat correctly clicked into the ISOFIX points with a tick.” To complete the bundle, you get a smart bag with a changing mat, and it’s nice to have a mosquito net in addition to the raincover and also a warm footmuff.

MFM home tester Lorne, mum of 2 liked that the pram was durable and that it lasted her so well. "The pram has a lot of room for baby and the suspension system is absolutely brilliant, making it so smooth over any kind of terrain when out and about. It's also lightweight, making it very easy to manoeuvre and it's swivel wheels help when going round tight places in shops", says Lorne. She also loved how straightforward it was to switch from carrycot to pushchair.

However, Lorne did mention that folding the pram down can be a bit awkward at times as the front 2 wheels need to be sitting in a certain position facing forwards otherwise it won't fold.

4. Hauck Pacific 4 Shop n Drive, £199.99

– best for easy storage.

Hauck Pacific Shop

Bundle includes: Chassis and seat unit that becomes bassinet, footmuff, raincover; car seat

Suitable for: birth to 25kg | Carrycot included: no, seat unit converts to bassinet | Car seat included: yes | Car seat weight : 3.kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included : yes

This pushchair is really lightweight and though it’s such a budget price for a bundle, you get a really good deal; a seat that converts into a cosy bassinet, and a first stage car seat too - plus a raincover and footmuff (which is the apron and seat liner zipped together).

The chassis has good-sized wheels for a smooth ride and front swivel wheels that make steering easy and there’s even suspension on the front wheels to glide over the bumps of city streets. It has a really generous shopping basket to store all your baby gear and the pushchair can be folded using just one hand – ideal when you’re holding your baby in the other arm!

The from-birth car seat clicks straight onto the chassis to create a smart travel system and it has good side impact protection and a hood to protect your baby from sun and wind. Though you don’t get extras like a car seat base, this is a great bundle for parents on a budget and Hauck offers a changing bag you could buy to complete the look, plus lots of other accessories.

Available from: Uber Kids and Amazon

5. Ickle Bubba Stomp, £499.95

– best for an easy fold.

Ickle Bubba Stomp

Bundle includes: Pushchair, raincover, carrycot, car seat (with adaptors), isofix car seat base, footmuff, car seat window sun visors, changing bag with changing mat, Chicco Pocket Snack booster seat, Joie Wish bouncer, Hauck safety pack, Koo-Di car seat sun cover and Clair De Lune changing mat

Suitable for: birth to 15kg | Pushchair weight: 13.9kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 3.4kg | Car seat base included : yes | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes

A really good set of extras comes with this mid-priced eye-catching pushchair with its sleek black design and tan faux-leather covered handle and bumper bar. Tester Sophie exclaimed: “I couldn’t get over how much kit was included!“

The carrycot is a good size with a softly padded liner, although not suitable for overnight sleeping. The seat unit also has good padding. Sophie commented: “The luxury seat liner and padded coverlet feel lovely and soft.” It’s easy to click the carrycot off and the reversible seat unit on to the chassis. It’s also very easy to collapse – Sophie says: “It’s genuinely the easiest fold I’ve encountered.” It has a large hood, though Sophie cautions: “The hood is disappointing – it’s made from a much coarser material than the rest of the pram and is not adjustable. It also doesn’t have any hoops for attaching toys, which would be a bonus.”

The Galaxy car seat will fit your little one up to 13kg (around 2 years) and Sophie loved how easy it was to use. “It was really easy to get my son into the seat as the straps can be moved out of the way. The moveable headrest (operated by pressing a catch on the base of the unit) was really handy for making him comfortable.” The ISOFIX base means clicking the car seat off the pushchair and into the car is easy – as Sophie says: “I loved the speed at which we could secure the seat.”

MFM home tester Leila, used this travel system with her daughter. "It was very sturdy and the carrycot attachment was helpful when we were in our flat. Overall though, despite how good it was on rough terrain, it was a nightmare for living in London." Leila warns this is not the best option if you rely on public transport and getting it on and off of a bus or train regularly.

6. Ickle Bubba Moon, £299.95

– best lightweight option.

Ickle Bubba Moon

Bundle includes : Pushchair, convertible seat unit and carrycot, astral group 0+ car seat, carrycot apron/pushchair boot cover, raincover, Joie Mimzy Snacker highchair and Joie Wish bouncer

Suitable for: birth to 3 years | Pushchair weight : 10.5kg | Carrycot included : yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 3.4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes

This set is a great value bundle including special extras such as a highchair and a bouncer.

Our tester Steve says: “The Moon looked versatile, compact and extremely lightweight – in fact it weighs just 6kg (for the chassis), which I found amazing. The quality is surprisingly good considering the reasonable price.”

It’s a light chassis, which makes steering easy but is perhaps not the sturdiest. As Steve says: “The extremely lightweight aluminium frame makes manoeuvring, mounting kerbs and lifting a doddle, but I wouldn’t say that it’s particularly strong. For the price though, it’s understandable that you’re not getting the sturdiest of travel systems.” He feels that, despite its suspension and while it’s great for city streets, it’s probably not as good for off-roading or rough terrain.

The bassinet is used for the first months and then quickly transforms into a seat. Steve says: “The carrycot converts into a seat by simply fastening the strap underneath and tightening a toggle.“ This pushchair also comes with the Astral car seat, suitable to 13kg (around 2 years) and it has an adjustable headrest to increase its size as your baby grows.

7. Silver Cross Wayfarer, £699.06

– best premium bundle.

Silver Cross Wayfarer

Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis with seat unit, raincover; carrycot suitable for occasional overnight sleeping, changing bag; car seat plus adapters; cup holder

Suitable for: birth to 22kg | Pushchair weight: 10kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | C ar seat weight: 4kg | Car seat base included: no | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included: yes

If you want the look of a luxury pram at a sensible price, the Wayfarer bundle is one of the best ways to get that gorgeous, premium look. The carrycot, suitable for overnight sleeping, is a good size with a generous hood and our tester Sarah liked its feel: “the inner lining had a gorgeous super soft finish – it’s made of a naturally antibacterial bamboo, which helps to regulate your child’s temperature, …and the mattress was safely firm and breathable.”

The chassis is sturdy and simple to use. Sarah comments: “I loved the ease of the folding mechanism for the chassis and the fact it can be folded with the seat attached in forward-facing, upright position.” However, because it’s a larger pushchair than some, Sarah warns: “the buggy is quite bulky once folded. When combined with the size of the carrycot, it only just fit in our car boot.” However, she says it is: “a delight to push and it was so easy to steer with brilliant manoeuvrability.”

The bundle includes the Simplicity car seat, suitable up to 13kg (around 2 years) and used with your car’s seat belts - if you want to use an ISOFIX base, you’ll need to buy it separately. The bag is really neat and feels premium, with a changing mat and lots of pockets inside and the cup holder is ideal for a drink while you’re out. This bundle is ideal for those wanting long walks and trips in the city and although it would handle some rougher terrain, Sarah says: “if I were constantly on public transport, I may want something more nippy.”

8. Mamas and Papas Ocarro, £1,379

– best for the whole package.

Mamas and Papas Ocarro

Bundle includes: Pushchair, carrycot, Heritage bear, baby blanket, Aton 5 car seat with adaptors and Isofix base, changing bag, footmuff, parasol and cup holder

Suitable for: birth to 3 years | Pushchair weight : 13.3kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4.8kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: yes | Other accessories included : yes

This is a stylish and comprehensive bundle that gives you a functional pushchair, a good-sized carrycot, a car seat plus lots of added extras. The carrycot is large, with plenty of protection from the elements and is suitable for occasional overnight sleeping. It has a good mattress and ventilation for warmer months, though our tester Claire was disappointed that when using the carrycot, “I couldn’t access the basket below, which is very impractical.”

The 3-position, lie-flat seat unit faces the front or the rear and Claire comments it is: “padded and there’s a plump, foam headrest. The harness is quite heavy duty, but the pads make it comfortable to wear. My baby looked very secure and happy when strapped in.” The seat also has a large hood with an air vent, which is Claire’s favourite part: “The hood … goes right back, enabling my son to see what’s going on around him. However, it also tilts forward, giving some privacy, which is nice when he’s sleeping.”

When it comes to manoeuvrability, the chassis has suspension and large wheels to make it ride smoothly over rough ground. Claire said: “Nothing fazes the Ocarro; it’s a seamless ride regardless of the terrain. It’s smooth on pavements and I was able to mount the kerb without any difficulty. I also keep the pushchair in control on uneven terrain.”

The Aton 5 car seat can be easily clipped to the chassis and transferred to the car, where you secure it with the car’s seat belt, or with the ISOFIX base that’s included. Other items in this great bundle are a smart bag with lots of interior pockets and a changing mat, a nicely padded footmuff to keep your little one warm and a cup holder for that essential morning coffee!

MFM home tester Katie used the Ocarro with her daughter. "We used the travel system loads and loved the Ocarro! We used it from the day she left hospital until she was too long to fit in the pram seat. Some of my family are 6ft + and found the handle bar adjusting very helpful. The fabric was durable and also kept the rain off better than we expected for a soft fabric. The wheels were ideal for many walks we went on across different terrain. The car seat and bassinet both slotted onto the frame with ease."

9. Silver Cross Wave 2020, £1,420

– best for multiple children.

Silver Cross Wave 2020

Bundle includes: Pushchair chassis, reversible pushchair seat unit hood, carrycot with hood and apron, pushchair seat liner, tandem adaptors, 2 bumper bars, shopping basket, 2 mosquito nets, 2 raincovers, changing bag, footmuff, car seat and adaptors

Suitable for: birth to 25kg | Pushchair weight: 13.5kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included : yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4kg | Car seat base included: yes | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes

A truly high-end and luxurious bundle with the multi-functional Wave pushchair at its heart. This elegant pushchair is a single-to-double model and can be adapted to hold 2 children, whether they are twins or siblings of different ages. It arrives with both seat unit and carrycot, so you can push a baby and a toddler at the same time. Simply add the car seat for a travel system or buy additional carrycots and seat units as you need them.

The carrycot is lined with Silver Cross’ antibacterial bamboo fabric and our tester Annie Says: “The mattress is firm and the best feature is that it can be used for overnight sleeping, which is very handy.” You can even buy an additional stand to use the carrycot as a crib. Annie comments: “While it’s meant to last for six months or until your baby can sit up, as Miriam is tall, we may not make it past five.”

The seat unit has a clever elevated seat position that means you and your baby can have great eye contact together. The basket is a generous size and the chassis is made from magnesium alloy, meaning that although it’s fairly light for its size, it’s strong, which is what you need from a pushchair that might be required to carry two large toddlers! Folding is simple, as Annie explains: “it does need two hands – once you’ve removed the seats you simply press down on two buttons on the frame and it collapses and automatically locks itself into the safety lock.”

The bundle includes the Simplicity car seat, which comes with both adaptors to click it onto the chassis and an ISOFIX base for secure fixing into your car.

10. My Babiie MB200+ Billie Faiers Collection, £299.95

– best for style on a budget.

My Babiie MB200BillieFaiers Collection

Bundle includes: pushchair chassis and seat, raincover, apron; carrycot; car seat, cup holder

Suitable for: birth to 22kg | Pushchair weight: 17.9kg | Carrycot included: yes | Car seat included: yes, to 13kg | Car seat weight: 4kg | C ar seat base included: no | Changing bag included: no | Other accessories included: yes

For those who want to have a fashion-forward pram that’s TOWIE approved, this neat little bundle offers a functional pushchair plus a separate carrycot and car seat for a decent price. It has a rose gold chassis and pink fabric, which some will love.

The carrycot sits in the chassis parent-facing and has an integral handle and protective hood. It clicks easily onto the chassis and can be used up to 9kg (around 9 months). It is also suitable for overnight sleeping (with the hood and apron removed). The seat unit is forward facing only but does have a lie-flat recline.

The seat is quite tricky to add to the frame – no simple click-on parts here, as you have to attach the seat fabric first using poppers and Velcro and then add the hood and bumper bar. However, you only need to do this once when changing to the seat, so it’s not a huge problem and the raincover and apron for the seat are included too. The pushchair frame folds easily too – just pull the two catches on the handlebar and it folds forwards and down and locks together.

The car seat is a Group 0+ that will hold your little one up to 13kg (around 2 years). There is a matching changing bag available, which you would have to buy separately.
