American songwriter, singer, producer, and guitarist Chris Stapleton has had a long journey in the music industry. His work is considered a return to the pure art that country music once was: gritty, soulful, and blues-tinged storytelling in musical form...

...with as many foot-stomping songs as mournful tales of sorrow.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Stapleton would later move to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a degree in engineering. Instead of finishing his degree, he decided to drop out and focus on his true love — music. While Stapleton is known today for his own hit albums, he began as a contracted songwriter. Even after achieving fame as a musician in his own right, his way with words keeps top talent asking for him by name By 2018, Stapleton had written and co-written over 170 songs, including numerous number-one country hits.

Songs attributed to Stapleton’s genius writing skills include Kenny Chesney’s number-one “Never Wanted Nothing More,” Luke Bryan’s “Drink a Beer,” and Josh Turner’s “Your Man.” In addition to working with many of the top names in the country music industry, Stapleton has also written songs for Adele, Taylor Swift, and Kelly Clarkson.

Before taking center stage as a solo artist, Chris Stapleton was the frontman for two different bands. His first band was a bluegrass ensemble called The SteelDrivers, which he performed with from 2008 to 2010. The band won numerous accolades, including Emerging Artist of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association and Best Bluegrass Album. Stapleton went on to lead a second band, The Jompson Brothers, before recording his own solo record.

In 2015, Chris Stapleton broke onto the scene with his debut solo studio album Traveller. This album topped the US Billboard 200 charts and earned a number of CMA nominations. With the release of this album, Chris also earned Best Male Vocalist, New Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year.

Next, Chris would go on to release two more studio albums in 2017: From a Room: Volume 1 and Volume 2. These albums would earn him a slew of additional awards, including his second CMA Award for Album of the Year.

Immediately after this dual release, Stapleton began his All-American Road Show tour. Then, in August 2020, he released his most recent award-winning album Starting Over. This album features the soulful and haunting country-meets-folk music for which the artist is known.

In 2021, Stapleton won Song of the Year and Single of the Year for “Starting Over” at the Country Music Awards. He also won album of the year for Starting Over, as well as additional awards for his work as a producer on the album. In 2022, he took home three awards at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, earning an award for every category in which he was nominated. He also performed at the event, showcasing his incredible on-stage presence.

For those lucky enough to catch one of Stapleton’s tour dates, the artist delivers a memorable experience. Stapleton’s wife Morgane often accompanies him onstage, adding beautiful, harmonious vocals to his soulful sets. It’s not just Stapleton’s musical talent that draws fans to his shows; it’s the sense of community he creates. The southern-born and raised artist is known for personally checking in on his fans, even going as far as offering water to those dancing along to his tunes.

Stapleton continues to tour in 2023, with shows spanning the US, including tour dates in Colorado, Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Arizona.

Live reviews

“It looks like we’re going to have some fun tonight.” Those words were obviously meant for the packed house at the El Rey Theatre in Chico, California, but Chris Stapleton couldn’t take his eyes off his wife when he spoke them. Concealing his true identity behind a grizzly mane and a weathered cowboy hat, the newly-crowned savior of country music seemed just a little uncomfortable in his own skin. It was almost as if he were convincing himself that it was going to be an enjoyable set. When he did expose his wide eyes to the crowd, apprehension could be read loud and clear, but then he’d turn them back to Morgane and let her reflection ease his nerves. She provided backup vocals and made her tambourine sing, but just like Amanda Shires at those Jason Isbell shows in Nashville, Morgane Stapleton’s primary role was that of a muse. Performing in front of an old movie screen, while a sold-out crowd sang every word back at them, the Stapletons must have felt like they were characters in some film themselves. - See more at: http://ilistensoyoudonthaveto.com/2015/11/16/chris-stapleton-el-rey-theatre-11-13-15/#sthash.1GXWlcBl.dpuf

Best night ever! Brett Cobb, Marty Stewart and the Superlatives, then Chris Stapleton!!! The roof was raised by their awesome sound and the crowd singing along to almost every tune. Chris seemed genuinely appreciative of his warm welcome! Seems like such a humble gentleman who stands and delivers with his whole heart. And, what a musician!!! His soulful voice and wailing guitar is mesmerizing! The band is super tight! He calls them his favorite musicians in the world, and they deserve this honor in the highest degree. I am so happy my husband and I will be going to the show in NH on 8/25! And thanks to the nice guy who convinced the tall seat jumpers to move so we could see the show!

Chris is a fine songwriter and even better performer. Great show. And I can’t be the only one to be somewhat disappointed that the opening couple of minutes of Freebird didn’t progress into a full blown cover. Marty Stuart was good too. But the venue needs some logistic reorganization big time. Well over an hour and a half to get from the turn off from highway to our seats. A distance of half a mile if that. Over 30 minutes to get through security. And going home was just as bad. Lots of staff but no plan for them to follow whatsoever. Won’t be going back. If Chris is playing I may make an exception, but not for anyone else.

Fantastic show with Joe Walsh, Don Henley, James Taylor, & Chris Stapleton at the Tacoma Dome on Veterans' Day. I didn't realize when I bought my tickets that it was a benefit show; it was really fun.

Chris (and all the performers) played mostly crowd pleasers. Chris sounded just like he does recorded - no better or worse (not complaining). I thought he'd be performing with his wife as back-up, but he had a full band. It would have been fun to hear one or two songs with just him and a backup singer, but maybe it wouldn't have worked well in a big arena show.

Moments before he was to perform the rain came and soaked most. That did not dampen the spirit of the fans. He sang some new songs from new album with Chris style and also included all our favourites. Ended with Tenessee Whiskey. He is an awesome talent guitar playing srcond to none. His live performance did not disappoint he and what we found out, his wife and two brithers were the other band members. Do not change a thing it was an excellent performance even with the rain.

Chris is an immensely talented singer, writer and musician. What he is not: is a performer.

He probably didn't move more that 24" all night. If he was wearing a Fitbit, he probably only had 12 steps and those were accumulated going on and coming off stage.

Red Rocks is a near-perfect setting for a show and the weather was amazing, but for $90/ ticket I'd like something more than I could experience just listening to his music in my car.

It was a fantastic show! Chris was on fire! The opening act was Kendall Marvel and then Brothers Osborne! Everyone was great! Brothers Osborne are truly bad to the bone! Then Mickey Raphael shows up with Chris! Mickey is a living legend! Best concert I’ve seen! So glad that I was able to attend! Chris is probably one of the most talented guys I have ever had the privilege of hearing! It was worth every penny!

That was 1 of the best "mellow" concerts I've ever seen. His voice is enough to send chills - truly amazing! From his shock at the crowds excitement to his humble gratitude I can truly say that I will definitely be going to another Chris Stapleton show. The best was his introduction of his band- the words/lyrics were so personal and funny and actually had us all wanting more!

Loved the show. I knew appreciated your voice and songwriting, but I was also wowed by your ability to play the guitar. My only disappintment was my favorite tune, What are You Listening To, did not make the show. I know it is impossible to cover everything, but I wanted you to know, women love that song. Thank you for a wonderful show. Hope to see you again soon!

It was amazing. His voice is soothing to my soul and such a treat for your ears. His prebands, Brothers Osborne and Kendell Marvel were so good, too. They had great voices and all 3 were so amazing on their instruments. I love when bands kill it on their guitars, drums, and pianos and you can not get much better than what we saw. Loved every bit of the bands.

GEORGE STRAIT AND CHRIS STAPLETON EXTEND RUN OF STADIUM SHOWS, NEW DATES ADDED FOR 2024

chris stapleton tour fort worth

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Setting venue attendance records across seven stadium shows this summer, country music icon George Strait and eight-time GRAMMY winner Chris Stapleton continue the excitement into 2024 with nine new dates. Also returning alongside the King of Country and Stapleton for the extended run of one-off stadium dates are special guests and GRAMMY Award-winning band Little Big Town . In addition to summer shows in Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Ames, Charlotte, East Rutherford, Salt Lake City, Detroit and Chicago, Strait will also supersize his longstanding Strait to Vegas show with a December date at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium to mark the 37th installment of the engagement. Tickets to most shows go on sale next Friday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. local time via GeorgeStrait.com , with tickets to the Jacksonville show on sale Friday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Friday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. local time. Of the few opportunities to see Strait perform live, Pollstar opines, “Strait remains the most worthy inheritor of Merle Haggard or Willie Nelson’s mantle of country icon through the meaningful fluidity with which he moves through country’s various sub-strains with the same ease and enjoyment that marked both men’s Country Music Hall of Fame careers.” “I’ve always said we have the best fans in the world, and to see so many of them show up for these shows just makes us want to keep bringing them more,” shares Strait. “I’ve also missed performing in Las Vegas during NFR, so I’m happy to see that show come together in 2024. See you soon!” George Strait w/ Chris Stapleton & special guests Little Big Town 2024 Stadium Shows:

About George Strait George Strait is the unambiguous King of Country Music, having sold more than 105 million albums and counting while earning more than 60 major entertainment industry awards as well as countless nominations and becoming the only act in history to have a Top 10 hit every year for over three decades. With 33 different Platinum or multi-Platinum albums, he’s earned the third-most certifications of any artist in any genre, following only The Beatles and Elvis Presley, and with a total of 60, Strait has more No. 1 songs than any other artist in history (including Elvis). The Texas troubadour released 2019’s best-selling Country album, Honky Tonk Time Machine , on MCA Nashville, produced by Strait and Chuck Ainlay, the album quickly became Strait’s record-extending 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album. Comprised of 12 original titles plus Strait’s version of the Johnny Paycheck classic “Old Violin,” Honky Tonk Time Machine marks an incredible 30th career studio album from the Country Music Hall of Fame member, who earned his 100th entry on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his single “The Weight of the Badge” from the project. Since his record-breaking Cowboy Rides Away Tour in 2014, Strait has performed for limited engagements, most notably at Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena for his long running “Strait to Vegas” series. In 2022, he also made his 31st appearance at the iconic Houston Rodeo on the event’s final night and headlined two nights at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena. 2023 has seen Strait set concert attendance records at multiple venues as he has teamed up with Chris Stapleton for a series of one-off stadium shows in just six markets, with Little Big Town also appearing on each date. About Chris Stapleton Kentucky-born Chris Stapleton is an eight-time GRAMMY, 14-time CMA and 10-time ACM Award winner and one of the country’s most respected and beloved musicians who will release his highly anticipated new album, Higher , on November 10 (Mercury Nashville). Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton and Chris Stapleton and recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, the record consists of 14 tracks that showcase Stapleton’s supernatural voice and musical versatility with songs that defy easy categorization. Already receiving overwhelming notice, the album's lead single, “White Horse,” recently achieved the biggest add day of the last 12 months at country radio and marks the highest chart debut of Stapleton's career. Released to critical acclaim, Billboard praises, “‘White Horse’ finds Stapleton pairing an outlaw swagger with some heaven-scraping vocals, going for the gusto throughout the chorus to try and match the guitar snarl.”

The new music adds to another landmark year for Stapleton, who is nominated for three awards at this year’s 57th Annual CMA Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year. He was also named Entertainer of the Year at the 58th ACM Awards—resulting in a prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award—and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 CMA Awards, his sixth time earning the award, setting the record for most wins ever in the category. Additionally, in February, he performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVII and has collaborated in recent years with Adele, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Sheryl Crow, Santana and many more. About Little Big Town GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, AMA and Emmy Award-winning group, Little Big Town – consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook – first entered the music scene over 20 years ago with hit songs “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone” and the GRAMMY-nominated “Little White Church.” The band’s breakthrough albums Tornado and Pain Killer produced multiple No. 1 singles, including “Pontoon,” “Tornado,” and “Day Drinking,” as well as the history-making, best-selling country single of the year (2015) “Girl Crush.” 2017’s The Breaker debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Charts to critical acclaim. The album features their GRAMMY-winning, multi-week No. 1 single, “Better Man,” as well as the 2019 GRAMMY-nominated, “When Someone Stops Loving You.” The band’s self-produced ninth studio album, Nightfall , was released January 2020 and hit the top of the Billboard Country Charts. The record included critically acclaimed and GRAMMY-nominated “The Daughters,” “Over Drinking” and “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” – the latter of which has reached almost 400 million global streams. In September 2022 they released their tenth studio album, Mr. Sun, which debuted as the Top Country Album released by a Group in 2022. Little Big Town has earned more than 45 award show nominations and has taken home nearly 20 awards, including multiple GRAMMY, AMA, People’s Choice, CMA and ACM Awards, in addition to an Emmy award.

Fort worth's dickies arena secures the only texas stops for 2 major musicians.

Paul McCartney, Minute Maid Park, November 2012

Both Paul McCartney and Chris Stapleton have chosen Dickies Arena in Fort Worth as their only stop in Texas on their forthcoming tours, making the venue the envy of many others in Texas.

The date in Fort Worth is extra special for the former Beatle, who will be performing in just 13 cities in the United States as part of his "Got Back" tour, including Fort Worth on May 17. This will be McCartney's’s first show in Fort Worth since 1976 with Wings.

He last played in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on June 14, 2019 at the former Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Almost 60 years on from the release of the first Beatles album, McCartney is still as prolific as ever, releasing two new albums in the past four years, including 2020's McCartney III .

A visit by Stapleton is not as rare — he was just at Globe Life Field in Arlington in August 2021 — but his “All-American Road Show” is still a stellar showcase for country music fans. The Fort Worth show, which will close out Stapleton's tour on October 27 and feature special guests Elle King and Morgan Wade, is part of a spate of new concerts from coast to coast announced by the singer.

Stapleton, a five-time Grammy Award winner, is nominated for three more Grammys for his latest album, Starting Over , including Best Country Album, Best Country Song ("Cold"), and Best Country Solo Performance (“You Should Probably Leave”). He's also nominated for five awards at the 57th ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year.

Tickets for McCartney's concert will go on sale to the public 10 am Friday, February 25. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning 10 am Tuesday, February 22 through 10 pm Thursday, February 24. Those on the Dickies Arena subscriber list also will be able to purchase tickets in advance, from 10 am February 24 to 8 am February 25.

Tickets for Stapleton's concert also go on sale on February 25. Stapleton’s fan club will have early access to tickets with a pre-sale running 10 am February 22 through 10 pm February 24, and Citi cardmembers will have access to a pre-sale during the same time period.

Movie review, film sequel beetlejuice beetlejuice revisits '80s camp classic.

Unless you’re a Tim Burton superfan, it’s easy to forget that 1988’s Beetlejuice was only the director’s second feature film, one that would set the template for all the other weird stories and images he would later bring to the big screen. Now, like so many other beloved ‘80s properties , it is being resurrected 36 years later with the legacyequel , Beetlejuice Beetlejuice .

It focuses on Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), now hosting a ghost hunter show while still occasionally seeing glimpses of her old nemesis, Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton). When her father dies in tragic-but-funny fashion, she returns to her family home with daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) and boyfriend Rory (Justin Theroux) to be with her mom, Delia (Catherine O’Hara).

It isn’t long before a series of events summons Beetlejuice back from the underworld, bringing with him mayhem and unexpected people, including a group of people with shrunken heads; Delores (Monica Bellucci), a woman looking for revenge on Beetlejuice; and Wolf Jackson (Willem Dafoe), a deceased former actor who now fashions himself as a type of detective.

Directed by Burton and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (the creators of Netflix’s Wednesday ), the film has many of the familiar touches of the original, including multiple grotesque and scary characters. However, Burton’s filmmaking ability turns the images of reanimated bloody corpses, people having their souls sucked from their bodies, and more into fun entertainment, a trick that not many other directors would be able to pull off as well.

What’s missing this time around, though, is a coherent story. Instead of trying to tell one story with some side plots, the filmmakers give equal attention to multiple side plots, never properly bringing them together. Every major character has something different going on, to the point that it feels like there are five different short films vying for the audience’s attention. Beetlejuice is supposed to be the character that ties them all together, but his appearances are so sporadic that it never works.

Naturally, the film is also full of nostalgia for those who loved the original film. The talents of Keaton, Ryder, and O’Hara means the mere presence of their characters will be enjoyable for fans, as will the appearance of the original house and Bob the shrunken head. But other elements don’t work, most notably the awkward centralization of the deceased Charles Deetz, played by the now-disgraced Jeffrey Jones in the first film. They try to be creative in showing him, but it would have been better to explore a different reason to get the gang back together.

The 73-year-old Keaton is still as amusing as ever in the title role, even if he feels like a sidekick to everyone else. Ryder and O’Hara have seemingly turned into their movie personas over the years, so they both feel natural in reprising their roles. Ortega is a rising star, but she’s weirdly not showcased as much as you might expect in the film. Bellucci and Dafoe are given parts that amount to nothing, which is indicative of the larger story problems.

Ultimately, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice doesn’t give a good enough reason for it to have been made. It doesn’t move the characters forward in any significant way, it puts forth retreads of jokes that were funny in the first film, and it has way too much going on storywise. It might have been better for Beetlejuice to remain in the underworld, where he belongs.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opens in theaters on September 6.

What to Stream: George Strait, 'Rebel Ridge,' Astro Bot, 'Slow Horses' and Mormon influencers

Associated Press

This combination of images shows promotional art for the docuseries "The Wonderland Massacre & The Secret History of Hollywood," left, the series "Slow Horses," center, and "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives." (MGM+/Apple TV+/Hulu via AP)

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” a docuseries following young wives in Utah, and the suspenseful thriller “Rebel Ridge” are some of the new television, films, music and games headed to a device near you.

Also among the streaming offerings worth your time as selected by The Associated Press’ entertainment journalists : the return of the acclaimed English spy series “Slow Horses," Astro Bot gets his own full full-fledged adventure on the PlayStation 5 and George Strait will release his 31st studio album, “Cowboys and Dreamers."

NEW MOVIES TO STREAM SEPT. 2-8

— Jeremy Saulnier makes lean, suspenseful thrillers, several of which (“Blue Ruin,” “The Green Room”) have turned into cult favorites. His latest, “Rebel Ridge” (on Netflix starting Friday, stars Aaron Pierre as an ex-Marine who becomes ensnared in a violent battle with a corrupt small-town police department and its chief (Don Johnson). The film, engrossing and stylish , is enlivened by the magnetic presence of Pierre.

— “The Boy and the Heron” didn’t turn out to be Hayao Miyazaki’s swan song. (He’s said to be at work again on another film.) But it did live up to the considerable expectations built up for the long-in-coming late opus from the Japanese anime master. The film, streaming Friday on Max, was the best animated feature winner at the Oscars earlier this year and – in a first for the 83-year-old Miyazaki – No. 1 for a weekend at the box office . In it, a 12-year-old boy named Mahito, uprooted from Tokyo after the death of his mother during World War II, discovers a portal into a fantastical realm. In my review, I wrote that “The Boy and the Heron” is like “returning to a faintly familiar dreamland. Only, since the only location here is really Miyazaki’s boundless imagination, it’s less the feeling of stepping back into a recognizable place than it is revisiting a well-remembered sense of discombobulation and wonder.”

NEW MUSIC TO STREAM SEPT. 2-8

— They call him King George for a reason. On Friday, George Strait will release his 31st studio album, “Cowboys and Dreamers,” a collection of classic-sounding contemporary country from a Texas troubadour who has nothing left to prove, and no reason to quit. Standouts include a collaboration with Chris Stapleton (“Honky Tonk Hall of Fame”), who opened for Strait on his recent stadium tour, a cover of Waylon Jennings’ “Waymore’s Blues,” and the Jimmy Buffet-informed vacation stomper, “MIA Down in MIA.”

— The internet was primed for an electroclash revival, and in The Dare, it has a figurehead. The musical project of Harrison Patrick Smith, The Dare has quickly become a stalwart of New York City nightlife, largely due to the success of his amorous anthem “Girls.” He’s further cemented his nascent fame by producing and co-writing “Guess,” a deluxe club tune from Charli XCX’s extended “BRAT,” and a remix featuring Billie Eilish. When his debut album releases on September 6, titled “What’s Wrong With New York?”, all eyes and ears will be back on his own nostalgic-sounding Anglophilia. Put on your best suit and hit the dance floor.

— MJ Lenderman is no stranger to this space — last year, AP named an album by his band, Asheville, North Carolina’s alt-country indie rockers Wednesday, as one of 2023’s best. As a soloist, the multi-instrumentalist — but perhaps most principally, a guitarist — has made a name for himself for his lax songwriting style – funny, acerbic, cutting with a wizened equanimity. On “Morning Fireworks,” his skills have been sharpened. Heartbreak is amusing and suburban and timeless. It, like last year’s “Rat Saw God,” feels like an easy contender for one of 2024’s most exciting releases.

— A master of disco, soul, R&B and beyond, Sylvester’s unimpeachable legacy gets a new release in “Live at The Opera House,” a massive collection of over two hours of material. That includes 13 songs captured from his performance at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House on March 11, 1979. It will be released as a box set, for those looking to dive into its exclusive photographs and liner notes. For everyone else, it will hit streaming on Friday, Sept. 6.

— AP Music Writer Maria Sherman

NEW SHOWS TO STREAM SEPT. 2-8

— “Slow Horses,” Apple TV+ British spy series starring Gary Oldman, returns for season four just in time for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Season three received nine nominations including outstanding drama series and lead actor for Oldman. The show’s new season is also rated 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. In “Slow Horses,” MI5 agents who’ve made big mistakes are relegated to a division run by Oldman’s character Jackson Lamb. The story is based on Mick Herron’s “Slough House” novels. It returns Wednesday.

— First there was Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” and now Hulu is introducing “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” a docuseries following young wives in Utah who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are also online influencers who banded together to create TikTok content they called #MomTok. The women juggle their online personas with family life and remaining in good standing with the Church — and each other — after a sex scandal brings worldwide attention. It premieres Friday.

— In “The Wonderland Massacre & The Secret History of Hollywood,” crime writer Michael Connelly examines the 1981 quadruple massacre at Wonderland Avenue in Los Angeles that inspired the film “Boogie Nights.” It premieres Sunday on MGM+.

— Alicia Rancilio

NEW VIDEO GAMES TO PLAY

— It’s been way too long since we’ve had a lovable new mascot to play with, but Sony is hoping Astro Bot can pick up the slack. The little guy first showed up in a game for Sony’s virtual reality headset, but this is the first time he’ll get a full-fledged adventure on the PlayStation 5. It begins with the destruction of the droid’s mothership, leaving him to travel across more than 50 planets to reassemble his crew — and perhaps meet some iconic PlayStation characters along the way. It’s the sort of running-and-jumping silliness that made stars out of Spyro the Dragon and Ratchet & Clank, interspersed with acrobatic flying antics. Astro Bot lifts off Friday.

— The Casting of Frank Stone is an intriguing collaboration between two preeminent horror game makers. It’s set in the world of Behaviour Interactive’s Dead By Daylight, a multiplayer survival hit, but it’s a solo game from Until Dark designer Supermassive Games. The title character is a serial killer, while the protagonists are four teenagers who come up with the brilliant idea of making a movie about him. If you’ve played either of the aforementioned titles, you know someone’s going to wind up on the wrong end of a meat hook. The gore starts flowing Tuesday on PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S and PC.
