• How do I book tickets? You can reserve tickets online above on the "Book Now".
• Do I book for a specific date or can I purchase an open ticket (gift voucher)? Both. To book it as a gift voucher (whereby the recipient then can choose the date on receipt of the voucher), simply select which package you would like to purchase, then tick the box on the first page that says “Purchase as a Gift Voucher”. This will then bring you directly to the details and payment page. To book a specific date simply select your package, then click the “Next” button on the widget. This will then take you through the process of selecting which dates are available, then onto the details and payment page.
• How does the recipient of the gift voucher reimburse to pick a specific date? On purchasing the gift voucher you will receive a unique code, which the recipient of the voucher can then enter into the box “Voucher Code”on the first page. This will then bring you forward to the calendar to select the dates available for the Homebrew Academy.
• Do the voucher codes expire? The voucher codes will expire 12 months from the initial purchase.

• How many drinks do I get with the Tour & Tasting? You will receive approximately 6 taster beers, plus a pint of beer of your choice at the end of the tour.
• Would you like to book a table? You can book your table online for numbers up to 10 people via the widget on our website. For tables above 10 please email us at [email protected].
• Do I need to make a reservation for food and drink? We are extremely busy, so we always recommend booking a table via the widget on our website.

Welcome to our Brewery Tours

We currently offer our brewery tours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at noon. These are 45 min tours with one of our fabulous BrewHouse team. They will tell you a little bit about Hilden House and Barbour Threads Linen Mill.

A bit more about how we came to start a brewery in Hilden over 40 years ago as the first Independent Brewery in Ireland and a little bit more still about how we make our beer here in Lisburn. You will be able to see the brewhouse where the magic first began, the new brewhouse, bottling plant and canning line.

We will follow that up with a lovely bowl of our very own Irish stout stew and a slice of wheaten bread (how can you have one without the other!) and accompanied by a flight of three beers of your choice from the 8 taps in the Tap Room.  (Groups of more than 10 will all receive the same three beers.

Craft Beer Tour

We start our Craft Beer Tour after we meet at Belfast’s City Hall. Following a quick description of the city (to get our bearings) we’ll be heading to our 1st Craft Beer destination.

Our 1st stop is Tribal Burger for some tasty food – you don’t want to start drinking on an empty stomach! Along with the food, you’ll sample a couple of local Craft Beer and learn all about the breweries that produced them.

Next, we visit the Sunflower Bar – here we review the amazing street art and the old security cage at the bar’s entrance before sampling a selection of fine locally brewed Craft Beers.

Following the Sunflower it’s off to the Deer’s Head, one of Belfast’s Brew Pubs, to sample a few of their excellent in-house beers.  Here there’s time to discuss the craft beers on offer find out  more about our local breweries and their back stories.

You’ll discover lots of Belfast sights and sounds and more fascinating Street Art as we make our way through the Cathedral Quarter to the John Hewitt pub, our final destination where we sample Boundary Brewing’s finest local brews. You’ll love the ambiance, the beers and the craic!

Established 1996 on the fifth generation family farm amidst the spectacular mourne mountain range in the north of ireland, whitewater brewery still retains the passion and desire to brew beers with fantastic flavours..

Maggies Leap

4.7% ABV – A formidable India Pale Ale style beer brewed with Australian, New Zealand & American hops. Packed with citrus flavours, the ideal partner for spiced food… or enjoyed just on its own.

7.0% ABV – Not afraid of being the Maverick this IPA Heavyweight has a great balance of bittering and hops.  The dominant citrus & grapefruit tones come from the American Cascade hop.

Belfast Lager

4.5% ABV – Crisp & full flavoured this continental style premium lager is brewed with the finest Saaz hops, rich in aroma and taste.

Belfast Ale

4.5% ABV – Whitewater’s aromatic russet ale is brewed with the addition of  wheat and roasted barley. Rich fruitiness and gentle hop flavour leading to its smooth succulent finish.

Belfast Black

4.2% ABV – Roasted barley, rolled oats, chocolate & black malts combine to produce our Traditional Irish Stout brimming with flavour.  The gentle coffee aroma is balanced wonderfully by rich hop flavours.

Bee’s Endeavour

4.8% ABV – A wonderful golden ale with the flavoursome combination of honey & ginger, gentle warmth to the aftertaste.

4.2% ABV – Using juicy German Hallertau Blanc hops along side spalt select hops for a touch of bitterness. This result is a traditional helles lager with a hoppy aroma, a light slightly sweet malt body and restrained bitterness.

4.2% ABV –  A cheeky Red ale brimming with malt and caramel overtones. There’s plenty of the maltiness on the nose with bready aromas with hints of dark, dried fruits.

Marado Pale

Marado 4% Session Pale Ale. A Blend of both names and essence of American Amarillo & El Dorado hops. This easy drinking Pale Ale has a rounded citrus finish.

Marado Rattlin’ Red 3.7%. The perfect balance of caramelised malt and hop presents a smooth, easy drinkin’ red ale. A beer with backbone & the right amount of bitterness.
