Morning tours are best for cooler temperatures and wildlife sightings.

Light, loose-fitting clothing, comfortable shoes with good traction, sunglasses and sunscreen are key; if visiting in the winter, bring a light jacket as well. Keep in mind that anything you wear will get dusty (so it's probably best to avoid white).

Seating capacity varies by tour. For example, A Day in the West Jeep tours have a six-person capacity, while Pink Adventure Tours' Jeeps seat nine people (in addition to the tour guide/driver).
