We had a tour booked for many months. 1 hour before the tour the company email me- don't even call? Claiming they don't have my contact number ( even though all this information was supplied on the booking form and waiver) to tell me they have cancelled my booking an automatically reschedule for next week. First of all the fact I didn't even get a phone call just a rescheduled email on the day 1 hour prior is terrible. This was for a surprise 40th celebration and completely wasted our travel costing and time into London. They didn't even ask if another day was suitable just booked us on another day anyway. When I called the company an irish lady said she'd heard enough of how upset I was about this after one sentence ( after saying once how upsetting this was) just to get me off the phone said there's nothing else she can do. I asked for a refund as we couldn't do any other day. I don't think I've ever laughed as much as I did on our tour. We spent just over an hour seeing the beautiful sights light up at night while having a tipple and singing along with whatever song we could think of. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Staff are amazing and it is a great way to start a night out for all ages really. Just remember to bring your own drinkies, it's BYOB which myself and my hubbie didn't realise however the guys helpfully got us to the nearest off licence where we got a few bottles of procecco to make sure we kept things classy (lol). • I3979UQryanl 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Cringe disrespect on wheels Today 17/2/24 in cornmarket Belfast I watched one of these contraptions deliberately pull up directly in front of christian street preachers -literally less than 10ft- who were just doing their thing as is of the few rights they still have left- and the tour operator proceeded to put Madonna's "like a prayer" on blast, drowning out the preachers for an extended period. The preachers backs were to the wall and the contraption bus was placed to completely drown out and block anyone's view of them. It may not have been deliberate, but then it was just negligent and it was absolutely unecessary, and painfully cringe to behold. I understand they're in the business of making money off middle of the day drunk hen parties and other unclassiness but they would do well to show some respect to others just going about their business in the town. We booked 5 individual seats and sat together whilst other groups also joined us. It can feel like a workout at times but the music, company and drinks reduce the burn in the legs (there are breaks). The hosts, Shady and Victoria were brilliant, very accommodating and brought good vibes throughout the tour. They were informative, helpful and made us feel safe and looked after. We shared our ride with some lovely Peruvian and Puerto Rican people who we ended up befriending as we had such a fun time together. I will mention, you must pre-book the drinks or bring your own drinks. There wasn't an option to buy drinks on the tour due to recent changes to rules. Instead of returning my money they gave me a gift card that I can spend on another trip in the future. However, I do not live in London and I will not be visiting in the near future. So now I have lost around 60£ for an experience that did not take place. This was truly an overall poor experience. And I am very sad about the money lost. I hope they will be able to make it up.
