Global Icon Seal Announces 30th Anniversary North American Tour

TEAMING UP WITH LEGENDARY PRODUCER TREVOR HORN

Performed “kiss from a rose” on  jimmy kimmel live  last night, tickets go on-sale friday, january 27.

GRAMMY® award-winning global icon  Seal  will embark on a massive  30 TH  Anniversary Tour  across North America this spring. Produced by Live Nation, he will team up with longtime producer and trusted collaborator  Trevor Horn,  who will take on the role of musical director for the run of shows; additionally, Horn’s acclaimed new wave band  The Buggles  will be featured as special guest performers. The six-week run begins on April 25 in Phoenix, AZ at Arizona Financial Theatre and will make stops at famed venues such as the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on May 23 and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on June 7. It concludes at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA on June 12. On  Thursday, January 26 , a special fan pre-sale will go live at 9AM local time followed by a Live Nation pre-sale at 10AM local time. General on-sale begins  Friday, January 27  at 10AM local time. The  30 TH  Anniversary Tour  will commemorate three decades of his landmark self-titled debut album  Seal (1991) and eponymous follow-up  Seal II   (1994). He will be performing the records in their entirety for the first time, delivering a set highlighted by classic chart-topping anthems such as  “Crazy , ” “Future Love Paradise , ” “Killer , ”  and  “Kiss From A Rose.”  Expect soul staples and standards peppered throughout the set, showcasing the full spectrum of his incredible repertoire.

Last fall, he reissued  Seal  as the 4-CD/2-LP  SEAL: DELUXE EDITION  complete with rarities, a 12”x12” hardcover book that includes never-before-published photos and liner notes courtesy of Jim Farber, a previously unreleased 13-track concert performance, and more, with all music impeccably remastered by  Trevor Horn . The set has been widely acclaimed:  American Songwriter  celebrated the set’s  “incredible dance remixes , ”  while  Paste  proclaimed it one of  “The 20 Best Album Reissues of 2022 , ”  writing,  “Looking back three decades later,  Seal ’s combination of pop, funk, rock and dance hit harder than we might have realized at the time . ”

What an incredible concert! What an amazing entertainer! It is more than enough that Seal has one of the most iconic and uniquely soulful voices on the planet; but he went above and beyond during this show. He wooed the audience, leaving the stage several times to wander deep into the crowd and sing/share his songs with throngs of adoring fans standing around him and cheering him on. He allowed the audience to do more than "watch a concert", rather he brought us all into the show with him and included us in the heartfelt emotion of his amazing songs. The show was personal, intimate, unifying and perfect! The Mountain Winery Venue is one of the best places to see a show in all of the San Francisco Bay Area. When you combine a Big Time Performer like Seal with a small and intimate venue like Mountain Winery, you are destined for a truly special and totally memorable evening! "Kiss from a Rose" was electrifying; "Prayer for the Dying" oozed with emotion, "Killer" and "Crazy" had me leaping out of my seat. Seal's "new" songs, which he performed early in the night, were so richly personal that I rushed out and bought his latest CD immediatly following the show. Thanks Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel for a great night of entertainment; one I won't soon forget!!

It was a good show but for as much money as we spent it was not worth it. He only played from 8:30-10:15. There were no encores. He spoke a lot and his voice was not tip top (because of a cold I presume).

Beautiful Concert and atmosphere!! First time @ Red Rocks Amphitheater-Corrine & Seal and the mountain scenery blew my mind. Not to mention the light rain and beautiful music made it all mystical. Red Rocks is a beautiful place to visit. I will definitely be visiting again. Really astonishing place to hav concerts and over look the low and middle foot hills!!!

SEAL Team Renewed at Paramount+ — But Who Will Return for Season 6?

Bravo Team has not fought its last fight.

Paramount+ has renewed the David Boreanaz-led SEAL Team for a sixth  season, it was announced on Tuesday — a little over a week after the release of a satisfying-yet-ultimately explosive Season 5 finale.

Network execs speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour confirmed that the renewal is for just 10 episodes (vs. Season 5’s 14), though this was not announced as a final season.

SEAL Team ‘s Jan. 23 season-ender — rife as it was with closure and big personal moments for most every character — could have been mistaken for a fine series finale, save for the closing sequence that rained RPG missiles down on a pinned-down Bravo in Mali. David Boreanaz, though, said that the episode was not at all designed to possibly wrap the series, if need be.

“I think that it was designed purely for, ‘This is what happens and could happen in a war situation.’ Like, this is real,” Boreanaz, who is also an exec producer and sometime director on the high-octane military drama, told TVLine. “We didn’t design it in a way that said, ‘Hey, we’re doing this, and that’s the end of the series!'” Rather, showrunner “Spencer [Hudnut] wanted to go out the way he wanted to go out, for this specific moment. It shows again: Everything is good, and then bam .”

But given how the Season 5 finale very tragically ended, what will SEAL Team ‘s titular Bravo brothers look like moving forward? Is there a reality where they all survived that Mali ambush?

“Who knows what’s going to happen now?” answered Boreanaz. “Who’s going to survive? Who’s not going to survive? How could this affect Bravo? Who could be injured? Who could not be injured? What types of injuries?

“This is really going to change the fabric of them,” he avowed. “But strength in numbers, always. It’s a team. One man out, another man in. That’s real life, and that’s what our show is about.”

Yay! But I’m very concerned about Max not returning. I know he has his Cal Fire show in development with CBS, and when a character talks about taking a step back after one finale mission…. That can be a death knell.

Firstly, I’m so glad the show was renewed! Secondly, I was thinking the same thing about Max and his new show but maybe that’s why next season is only 10 episodes? He could probably do both if they film the new shorter Seal Team season soon/over the summer which frees up the august onwards schedule for the new show to hit the screens Fall 2022 or later for the January 2023 schedule? Fingers crossed he stays as he’s pretty much the main character now and not Jason (in my opinion) but I do think 10 episodes is too short for this show and wish there going to be more next season!

If their renewing now it’s to save money and quickly jump in and do 10 episodes, so that it will be the equivalent if a broadcast season. I’m sure cast cuts to afford on streamer, and the remaining refulats will do 8

I am so happy that SEALteam has been renewed! We love the show and the actors. The show is well done and the actors are professionals and don’t “overact” which you see in so many network shows. We are pleased as punch!

Great news…. though it is cut back to 10 episodes.. I wonder if they’ll be longer with segments that could be cut for syndication??? I know they won’t tell anybody.. but I wonder if there is a streaming viewer count???

All the whiners about streaming get over it… it’s the future of TV… It’s tougher to finance stuff in the OTA world due to ways that ads can be skipped over that pay for it all.. In streaming.. folks like me can elect to pay more and skip ads or sit through ads that cannot be skipped for less..

Nobody cares about syndication anymore.

Apparently someone does. SEAL TEAM is already showing up in syndication in my market.

The traditional syndication market is lukewarm these days, which probably played a factor in Seal Team moving to streaming. ViacomCBS does own several cable networks, perhaps episdoes will one day end up on Par Network or Pop TV, and VIAC could simply have the later streaming episodes run past the hour.

Went we went from cable to streaming it cut our bill in half. Sure you have to pay for some apps, but there’s ton of free stuff too and quality programming from all over. As for only 10 episodes, that seems to be the norm everywhere but here. Only US shows churn out 22-25 episodes a season. IMO less is often much better – better stories, better writing, better continuity.

Paramount said in the announcement that Seal Team is consistently in the top 10 for original content on the service.

Streaming shows always have shorter seasons…. I’m glad it’s back I just hope the characters are too… the team is getting to look like Seal T. light….

It would be terrible to see Clay leave Seal Team. Definitely a key character in the show, virtually on same level as Jason as an important and integral part of show!!!

I figured they were sending this to Paramount+ to die. I haven’t even bothered with it since S4 knowing it was going to get another cash grab streaming platform, definitely not for one show. (STD, Puke hard and the back catalog have no traction.)

I love seal team I really hope to see this show go on for awhile, the only thing that bothers me is the team every season loses someone and the ream keeps getting smaller and smaller I hope they keep who they have and move forward awesome show 😎👍🇺🇲

Good News/Bad News I guess…

Thrilled the TV Execs are finally getting one right and renewing a great show, but sad to see it is only for a 10 episode “mini” Season 6; will take what we can get of this wonderful ensemble show though!

So happy for season 6 ! Seal Team is my favorite show and i signed up for paramount +just to continue to watch seal team .i have watched since season 1 episode 1 never missed 1.AWESOME NEWS
