Tim McGraw & the Dancehall Doctors will kick off a 52-date U.S. tour March 7 in Birmingham, Ala. Dubbed the One Band Show, the run will feature the artist and his band performing for more than two-and-a-half hours each night, with no opening act on the bill. “This is the most ambitious tour we’ve ever set out to do,” McGraw said in a statement about the Bud Light-sponsored tour. “We want the time and space to go deeper musically — to play album cuts and all kinds of songs that we jam on in rehearsal… We want fans to get to see the side of us as a band that we enjoy the most — hanging out and playing music all night with no time constraints. “The challenge,” he added, “is to take a show that’s twice as long and keep up our own standards of what it needs to be visually and dynamically. That’s the ambitious part.” McGraw and his band have one show scheduled prior to the tour’s kick off, a March 3 stop at Houston’s Reliant Stadium. That concert is part of the 20-day concert series in conjunction with the annual RodeoHouston event. Others slated to perform include George Strait, LL Cool J and Ashanti, Julio Iglesias, Bon Jovi, and Brooks & Dunn. Today (Jan. 28), McGraw will unveil his revamped official Web site ( timmcgraw.com ), and a new fan club. Members will enjoy such perks as concert ticket pre-sale opportunities, as well as the occasional chance to meet the artist. Tickets for North Carolina shows March 8 in Charlotte and the next night in Raleigh will go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster . Tickets for McGraw’s RodeoHouston show, put on sale 10 days ago, are already sold out. The tour comes in support of McGraw’s latest album “Tim McGraw & the Dancehall Doctors.” Released in November, the set debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Concurrently released was the book “Tim McGraw & The Dancehall Doctors: This Is Ours ” (Simon & Schuster/Atria Books), which chronicled the making of the album. The Soul 2 Soul Concert with Tim & Faith was the most awesome experience I have ever had in my life. The singing was superb and he is absolutely gorgeous. The love shown between Tim & Faith is so fantastic. I think every man should look at their wife the way he looks at Faith. I wish I could go to another concert of Tim's in the near future. I will be watching for any upcoming dates. I had a wonderful time!

One of the WORST-sounding concerts that I have ever experienced. We had great floor seats but the drums and bass guitar were so loud that no one in my group could understand any of the words from Tim or Faith. 90% of the concert just sounded like a lot of loud white noise.

Too bad that the artist probably have no idea.
