The Trek Model 610E is a high-voltage supply/amplifier/controller which provides six modes of high-voltage operation. As a high-voltage amplifier, the Model 610E amplifies an externally applied signal with a switch-selectable setting of 100 V/V or 1000 V/V. As a high-voltage reference supply, a front panel dial commands the output voltage. As a transconductance amplifier, an externally applied voltage signal produces a proportional output current. As a current supply, a front-panel dial commands the output currents. As a high-voltage controller, the high-voltage amplifier mode is maintained but the amplifier input and feedback elements are uncommitted and available for configuration by the user. The Trek 610E offers six modes of high voltage operation.

Amplifier and Transconductance Amplifier As a high voltage amplifier, the Trek 610E amplifies an externally applied signal with a switch-selectable setting of 100 V/V or 1000 V/V. When used a transconductance amplifier, an externally applied voltage signal produces a proportional output current.

Reference and Current Supply As a high voltage reference supply, the Trek 610E’s front panel dial commands the output voltage, and, when used as a current supply, the same dial command the output currents.

Controller The Trek 610E in controller mode maintains the high voltage amplifier mode but the amplifier input and feedback elements are uncommitted and available for user configuration.

SBU drones hit Russian oil depots in Rostov Oblast, source says

D rones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) hit two oil depots in Russia's Rostov Oblast overnight on June 18, a source in security and defense forces told the Kyiv Independent.

Russian authorities reported fires at several oil storage tanks in the Russian town of Azov in southwestern Rostov Oblast earlier the same day.

According to the source, the drone attack successfully targeted the oil depots Azovska and Azovnaftoprodukt, where 22 oil storage tanks were located. Powerful fires erupted following the reported attacks.

"The SBU will continue to implement 'drone sanctions' against the Russian oil refining complex and reduce the economic potential of the enemy, which provides the aggressor with resources for waging war against Ukraine," the source added.

According to local Telegram channels, residents reported hearing explosions, and footage of the fire was shared on social media.

The source said that the blasts could be heard near the town's railway station and near the port where the oil depots are located.

Overall, the SBU carried out 20 successful attacks against Russian oil industry facilities in various regions, the source said. Other previous strikes have been linked to Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR) or the Armed Forces .

The Trek ®  601C high voltage amplifier provides precise control of output voltages and offers high slew rates, extensive bandwidth, and low-noise operation. It can feature up to two independent amplifier channels in one enclosure and is highly reliable thanks to its all-solid-state design. The Trek 601C’s four-quadrant, active output sinks or sources current into reactive or resistive loads making it an ideal choice when you need accurate output responses and high slew rates demanded by reactive loads. Applications such as drive piezoelectric actuators, modulate electro-optics, and electrostatically controlled ion beams are typical uses for the Trek 601C.
