Noel and Liam Gallagher have put their long-running feud behind them, as a huge Oasis tour has been announced for 2025 .

The storied rock band will play stadium shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin, with gigs outside Europe to be added at a later date.

Their reunion announcement comes right before the 30-year anniversary of Definitely Maybe , the band’s record-breaking debut album. Next year, meanwhile, will mark the 30th anniversary of their follow-up, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, one of the biggest-selling LPs by a British act of all time.

A statement from the band said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

“Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE 25 world tour,” a press release about the reunion said.

“Oasis will hit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025. Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade.

“The Oasis live experience is unlike anything else. The roar that greets them as they step on stage. A set full of wall-to-wall classics. The spine-tingling sensation of being in a crowd singing back every word. And especially the charisma, spark and intensity that only comes when Liam and Noel Gallagher are on-stage together.”

Here’s everything we know about how to get tickets

Tickets for the UK tour dates will go on sale at 9am on Saturday 31 August and be available from ticketmaster.co.uk , gigsandtours.com , and seetickets.com . Dublin tickets will available from 8am that same day from www.ticketmaster.ie .

A pre-sale ballot will take place on Friday 30 August. To register, fans must enter a ballot that closes by 7pm on Wednesday 28 August. Here’s how to enter.

Oasis have finally announced their highly anticipated UK and Ireland tour , their first gigs in 16 years and tickets are going to be like gold dust.

Noel and Liam Gallagher , who have put their long-running feud aside, will kick off their Oasis Live 25 world tour with dates in Manchester and London as well as Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin next summer.

However, getting tickets — with unknown prices — could prove an impossible task with fans worried it will be harder than Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour .

Tickets will go on sale on August 31 at 9am and if you thought Swift’s ticket buying was frantic, this is going to be full-blown madness as fans scramble to secure their place at the reunion tour.

Eagle-eyed fans are also hedging their bets on whether the brothers will perform as Glastonbury headliners next year — but it’s looking a little unlikely despite huge interest.

For now, cutting jabs and insults hurled across social media have been laid to rest ahead of the 30th anniversary of the brothers’ debut album Definitely, Maybe.

Liam and Noel certainly aren’t looking back in anger with a whopping £400,000,000 in earning potential reported from the reunion.

Oasis fans point out strange political timing behind Gallagher brothers reunion

Now the initial shockwaves of Liam and Noel’s reconciliation have started to settle, fans are picking up on the coincidental timing of the long-awaited comeback.

Oasis broke up in August 2009 and hardly a year later, in May 2010, David Cameron brought in the first Conservative government since 1997 (around the height of Oasis’s popularity).

The past several years have seen immense political turbulence from Brexit to five different Conservative Prime Minsters but through it all there has been no sign of the feud cooling down.

Until now – when a Labour government (led by Sir Keir Starmer) finally took over the reins once more after winning a landslide victory in the July election.

Coincidence? Some fans think not.

How to stream Oasis documentary with impressive Rotten Tomatoes score

From growing up in Manchester to becoming chart-topping sensations to the notorious feud which saw them break up for 15 years – the Gallagher brothers have lived a truly wild life.

For those wanting to lift the curtain behind this dynamic, complicated duo, the 2016 documentary, Oasis: Supersonic, which scored 84% on Rotten Tomatoes delves into it all.

As the synopsis reads, the documentary offers a ‘revealing look at the meteoric rise of seminal 90s rock band Oasis, weaving never-seen-before footage and a first hand account of the backstage sibling rivalry that threatened to destroy the band’.

NME has praised the film. from director Mat Whitecross, as ‘rousing, heart-rending and really funny’ while Variety described it as ‘riotously enjoyable’.

Who is Noel and Liam Gallagher’s brother Paul?

Did you know that there’s a third Gallagher brother? Well, there is.

Paul Gallagher is actually the oldest of the three brothers and got his own bedroom in their Manchester home while Liam and Noel were forced to share.

He has steered clear of the spotlight while his brothers have stormed the charts but didn’t let their spat impact his relationship with them.

‘I speak to the pair of them. I see Liam every other day.’ Paul said last year on the Michael Anthony Show podcast. ‘I do my own thing, I stay away from it as much as humanely possible.

‘Yeah annoying. How many years has it been now, 30? How many times can you say [inaudible noise], it’s excruciating.’

Fans do sometimes recognise him, as he added: ‘When you are out in the pub, the first thing is a “hello” they acknowledge me and the second things is – it’s like “when are you going to ask them”. You know what I mean. Why are you asking me for?’

Paul continued: ‘I get it. There’s no stars in this country. There happens to be two in my family. I get it, but it doesn’t mean I want to talk about to the d***head at the bus stop.

‘I don’t care I just like to float around invisible. No because they don’t care. I don’t care what they do and they don’t care what I do, unless I overstep the mark and then they are always on our case.’

He admitted sometimes he can come across as ‘rude’ due to his disinterest in his brothers’ fame.

Bookies share odds on Oasis headlining Glastonbury 2025 – and it doesn’t look good

Anyone who has been analysing Oasis ’ tour dates in hopes of bagging the best seats may have spotted a little gap in their schedule.

It happens to be the same weekend (June 25 to 29) that Glastonbury is set to kick off at Worthy Farm.

Fans have instantly connected the dots and declared that Oasis could be headlining the historic festival.

Now, Oasis appeared to address this by editing their announcement to clarify that the dates announced were ‘the band’s exclusive European appearances.’

However, excitable fans haven’t let their Glasto dreams be shattered and William Hill have revealed the odds of that actually happening.

S pokesperson for  William Hill , Lee Phelps, said :  ‘Oasis superfans and music lovers alike have been sent into a frenzy this morning as the English rock band announced their tour dates for a long-awaited reunion, and the July start date has people wondering whether an appearance at Glastonbury 2025 as a headline act could materialise.

‘As is the turbulent nature of the band, we make their chances of splitting up before the end of the tour (4/1), greater than their likelihood of taking to the Pyramid Stage.’

Their likelihood of headlining Glastonbury sits at 9/2, made even less convincing by the announcement update.

Lee added: ‘The opening song is always a topic of debate and we make Rock ‘n’ Roll Star the even-money favourite to be the curtain raiser to their first tour date in Cardiff, ahead of Some Might Say (5/2), Cigarettes & Alcohol (7/2), and Supersonic (6/1).

‘Should they go global in 2025, the Super Bowl Halftime Show could be another they’ll look to check off the list and we make them a 3/1 chance to take to the Caesars Superdome next February.’

Sir Keir Starmer addresses Oasis reunion after big Downing Street speech

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer gave Oasis a shoutout during a major speech at Downing Street ahead of Parliament’s return next week.

After discussing the UK’s political situation and his vision of the future, one reporter made sure he addressed the biggest news of the day – Oasis’ shock reunion, 15 years after they broke up .

The reporter joked that Sir Keir was ‘looking back in anger’ after years of Conservative rule before asking the PM’s thoughts on the comeback.

‘What can I say in relation to that? Very, very good.

This has led to a slew of fans begging for more European gigs or even for the Britpop legends to fly across the pond for a US tour.

‘Oasis better come to the states man,’ wrote Bahram on X as CosmicPrime42 added: ‘“Domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE ‘25 world tour,” yeah they def coming to the States!’

Joe Petty wrote: ‘On the way to that evil ticketmaster once they confirm that @oasis will be playing Gillette in the states next year.’

The official Oasis Live ’25 announcement stated: ‘Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.’

As of now, it’s unknown where exactly that will be but looks like the United States could see Britpop take over in 2025.

Oasis Edingburgh gig clashes with Fringe festival

Sorry to anyone living in Edinburgh next summer but the Oasis Live ’25 gig clashes with the start of the Fringe festival .

The Scottish city is notoriously busy during the comedy festival, which has been going since 1947 with under a quarter of a million people attending in 2023.

However, Murrayfield Stadium’s huge 67,000 capacity will be thrown into the mix as fans flock to the city for Oasis.

The two gigs on August 8 and 9 will take place the Friday and Saturday after the comedy festival opens.

Oasis ticket realities sink in

The excitement for Oasis is by no means calming down but the reality of having to fight for tickets has dawned on fans.

Many are predicting this crush for tickets could be worse than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour which was notoriously hard to land a seat at.

With no staggered sales, no obvious pre-sale information, and no waitlist; it’s every Oasis fan for themselves.

Every fan who is hoping to attend one of Oasis’ reunion concerts will need to rush onto one of three sites at the buzzer and pray they get tickets.

Ticketmaster is once again at the scene of the crime but fans can also try SeeTickets or GigsAndTours for official tickets.

There will be plenty of ways to increase your chances, such as not refreshing pages and being on time for the sale, but honestly, this will very much be down to luck.

Who is Oasis founding member Tony McCarroll?

While the Gallagher brothers might be the most famous Oasis members, they are not the only people making up this iconic band.

In the early days, back when they were still known as The Rain, Oasis had a drummer called Tony McCarroll.

Before Liam Gallagher joined, bringing along his brother, the band consisted of Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs on guitar, Paul ‘Guigsy’ McGuigan on bass and Chris Hutton on vocals and keyboard.

However, Tony’s stint was short-lived after he clashed with Noel, 57, over his drumming ability.

The now 53-year-old contributed to Definitely Maybe in 1994 as well as some singles like Whatever, Supersonic, and Shakermaker.

Shortly after the release of their debut album, Tony left the band after a heated argument with Noel.

He was then replaced by Alan White on drums and Oasis as we know it best was formed.

In 1999, he tried to sue Oasis for £18million claiming he was owed part of the band’s five-album deal.

However, it was settled out of court for £550,000 and Tony agreed to give up any royalties.

Ever since, the drummer has stepped away from the spotlight, living a quiet life in London and we doubt he’ll be making a reunion return but never say never.

Where to get Oasis tickets and how much will they be?

Now the excitement over the announcement has calmed down, everyone is wondering how to actually get ahold of tickets.

This isn’t going to be for the fainthearted, we imagine tickets for this will be worse than the Eras Tour as so far there’s no mention of pre-sales or waitlists.

Ticketmaster, Seetickets, and Gigsandtours are all listed as official sellers of the Oasis Live ’25 tickets.

UK gigs will go on sale on August 31 at 9am with the Dublin dates on sale at 8am via Ticketmaster Ireland.

As for how much the Oasis tickets will cost, currently, we don’t know.

Stadium and arena tours have been notoriously high-priced recently and fans are less than happy with sellers.

Many artists have been criticised for charging  hundreds of pounds for ‘nosebleed’ seats .

Most shockingly, Blink-182 fans were offered a meet and greet with Travis Barker for £2,000 —concert ticket not included.

According to the  Manchester Evening News , Oasis tickets will be priced at over the £100 mark although an exact figure is still unknown.

It’s likely fans will only find out how much they’re about to spend when they fight through the great ticket war and arrive at the payment section.

Stop crying your hearts out though, it’s all in the name of rock ‘n’ roll.

After nearly two decades apart, Noel and Liam Gallagher will reunite on stage together for a 14-date tour around the UK and Ireland .

Fans rushed to the website for more information in such droves they actually crashed the entire site.

Oasis Net, the official home of all things Oasis, simply refuses to load due to the sheer number of Britpop fanatics attempting to learn more about the reunion.

Thankfully — just like the band themselves — the website has since recovered from the overwhelming response to the news of a 2025 tour.

What are the Oasis reunion tour rumours?

Most fans are speculating we could be about to see an Oasis stadium tour in July 2025, rather than new music from the brothers.

There are reported concert dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park and London’s Wembley Stadium — possibly a 10-night run.

Taylor Swift's 'Ronan' Inspiration's Mom Felt Like 'Royalty' at London Show

Taylor Swift rolled out the red carpet for a special guest to attend one of her Eras Tour concerts in London.

The 34-year-old pop star, who headlined five concerts at Wembley earlier this month, offered a VIP experience to Maya Thompson , whose late son's battle with cancer inspired Swift's 2012 single "Ronan."

"Last week, I was in London with [ Charisma Carpenter ] for something she was working on. The next thing I knew, we were in the Royal Suite at Wembley Stadium to watch the masterpiece that is the Eras Tour ," Thompson wrote via X on Saturday, August 24. " We were treated like royalty (literally). I am still trying to process what happened, the words said, and how I spent the evening dancing next to [ Florence Welch .]"

Thompson added, "When I met @taylorswift13 for the first time thirteen years ago, she was 22-years-old. She was a 22-year-old baby with the emotional intelligence of someone wise beyond her years. She reached out to me, a mom who fought so hard through her son's cancer diagnosis and then his death. She reached out because the love story between a mother and a child impacted her. I fell in love with a 22-year-old girl because of her bold, bleeding heart and genuine words - not because she was one of the biggest stars on the planet, but because she was just Taylor. Since then, it has been an endless stream of love that never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined."

Swift initially learned of Ronan's story via the "Rockstar Ronan" blog that Thompson kept during his cancer journey, which ended when Ronan died in 2011 at age 4. One day, Swift reached out to Thompson to reveal that she wrote a song in Ronan's honor.

"In my opinion, one of the bravest things that a human being could ever do is to go through something absolutely unbearable and then share their experience with the world. And I think the braver you are, the more brutally honest you are," Swift said during a 2017 performance of the song. "There's a woman here tonight named Maya Thompson and she has lived in this area and brought her kids up in this area. And I wouldn't know half as much as I know about childhood cancer and childhood cancer research if she hadn't shared her story about her son Ronan."

Swift noted at the time that she read Thompson's blog "every night," adding that cancer has since "hit really close to [her]." (Swift's mom, Andrea , previously battled breast cancer .)

In the years since, Swift has not publicly performed "Ronan" live in concert.

"This life without Ronan is painful beyond measure, but through experiences like this, I am reminded that he is everywhere," Thompson concluded on Saturday. "Taylor tethered him to this world in a way I could have never done alone. I am forever grateful for the magic that exists, which I often cannot explain, but in my heart, I know it is because of Ronan and Taylor. He is still here, creating mischief, such as making it pour down rain as soon as we stepped out of Wembley Stadium that night."

She added, "I am forever grateful for a love that transcends time and for you, Taylor Alison Swift. Thank you for still being here and never forgetting a little boy's bright blue eyes. I love you to the moon and back."
