Wolfgang Petry: Comeback ohne Live-Auftritte

Ein neues Album als "Dankeschön" für seine Fans hatte Schlager-Star Wolfgang Petry Anfang Januar angekündigt. In einem Interview hat der 62-Jährige nun klargestellt: Eine Tour als Dankeschön wird es nicht geben. Petry will nicht an alten Erinnerungen "kratzen".

Das ist mit Sicherheit eine kleine Enttäuschung für die Fans: Deutschlands wohl größter Schlager-Star, Wolfgang Petry (62, „Alles“), wird trotz Comeback-Album definitiv nicht auf den Konzertbühnen des Landes zu sehen sein. Petry wolle ein „Phantom bleiben“ und nicht mehr in die Öffentlichkeit zurückkehren, berichtet die „Bild“-Zeitung. Grund für die Entscheidung ist offenbar, dass Petry nicht alte, positive Erinnerungen an seine Tourneen überdecken will, wie er in einem Gespräch mit dem Blatt andeutet: „Die ganzen Auftritte trage ich noch mit mir rum und kann mich an so viele schöne Erlebnisse erinnern. Man sollte das einfach nur so stehen lassen und nicht mehr dran kratzen.“ Zudem fühlt sich der Star mit der, in der Zeit seit seinem Rückzug aus dem Musikgeschäft im Jahr 2006, gewonnenen Anonymität nach eigenen Angaben sehr wohl. „Ich fühle mich nicht mehr als öffentliche Person“, sagte Petry. „Ich genieße es, überall unerkannt hingehen zu können, habe keine Privilegien mehr und werde wie jeder andere behandelt.“ Stattdessen vertreibe er sich die Zeit nun mit viel Sport. Eine Darstellung, die Petrys Sohn Achim (39, „Mein Weg“) im vergangenen Sommer in einem Interview mit der Nachrichtenagentur spot on news bestätigte: „Er treibt exzessiv Sport. Und er referiert über Ernährung“, berichtete Achim Petry. „Stur wie ein Esel und dann auch noch über Ernährung referieren! Das macht keinen Spaß, mit ihm darüber zu reden. Da heißt es einfach: ‚Du ernährst dich falsch!'“ Wolfgang Petrys neues Album „Einmal noch!“ erscheint am Freitag. Es enthält vor allem discoartige Neuaufnahmen alter Hits.

Duett, Comeback und ein neues Album - diese Ausdrücke sind in den letzten Wochen öfters gefallen, wenn es um Achim und Wolfgang Petry ging. Was ist dran an all den Spekulationen? SchlagerPlanet hat Achim Petry exklusiv zum Interview getroffen.

Achim Petry steckt mitten im Leben und mitten in seiner Karriere. Der Sohn von Schlagerstar Wolfgang Petry wurde vergangenen Monat 40 Jahre alt, am 26. September erschien sein mittlerweile drittes Album „Mittendrin“. Auf dem Album sind auch zwei Duette mit Vater Wolfgang. Im Interview mit SchlagerPlanet sprach Achim Petry exklusiv über sein neuestes Werk, wie er es geschafft hat, seinen Vater wieder vor eine Fernsehkamera zu bekommen und ob es nun endgültig ein Comeback von „Wolle“ geben wird.

Achim Petry: Duett mit Vater Wolfgang

„Flick Flack, Rolle rückwärts“ – zu dieser sportlichen Höchstleistung brachte Achim Petry die Nachricht, dass sein Vater Wolfgang „Wolle“ Petry ein gemeinsames Duett mit ihm aufnehmen wird. Kein Wunder, hatte dieser doch eigentlich vor sieben Jahren seinen Rücktritt aus der Musikbranche bekanntgegeben, mit den Worten „Ein Zurück, das liegt nicht in mir drin“ .

„Eigentlich hat er auf ganzer Länge versagt, was seinen Rücktritt angeht“ , so Achim Petry zu uns im Interview. Doch sein „Comeback“, auch die Veröffentlichung seines „Einmal noch“-Albums Anfang des Jahres, sei keinesfalls geplant, sondern eher ein schleichender Prozess gewesen. Und auch die Idee, mehr als nur Songschreiber auf dem neuen Album „Mittendrin“ von Sohn Achim zu sein, sei nicht auf Druck von Außen, sondern auf eigenen Wunsch erfolgt: „Mein Vater, kurz nachdem er 'Einmal noch' rausgebracht hatte, sagte mir: 'Ja, jetzt singe ich ja wieder, dann können wir auch ein Duett zusammen machen'.“ Und als ob das nicht Freude genug bei seinem Sohn gewesen sei, kam der nächste Knaller gleich hinterher: „Und was mach ich wenn das jetzt eine Single wird? Wie trage ich den Song im Fernsehen vor? Wie können wir das machen? Da meinte er: 'Ja, kannst ja mit Videoeinspielern arbeiten.' Und ich nur: 'Ja, aber mit welchen Bildern?' Und dann kam er irgendwann damit um die Ecke und meinte: 'Ich mach auch im Video mit.' Das hat er mir auch in einem privaten Gespräch gesagt und ich meinte nur: 'Schön! Finde ich super!'.“ Daraus entstanden zwei Duette auf dem neuen Achim Petry Album „Mittendrin“ sowie das Mitwirken von „Wolle“ an anderen Songs auf dem Album, wie er es auch schon auf den beiden Vorgänger-Alben von Achim Petry getan hat.

Verantwortlich für „Rettungsboot“ ist aber keiner der Petrys, sondern ein Dritter. „Ich glaube, wenn wir das geschrieben hätten, dann hätte es vor Pathetik nur so getrieft. Das wäre wahrscheinlich eine Ballade geworden und wäre vielleicht nicht so geil geworden wie es jetzt alle empfinden“ , so Achim Petry. Stattdessen hat René Lipps, ein Freund und Bandkollege, den Titel innerhalb von acht Stunden in einer Art „Nacht- und Nebelaktion“ geschrieben. „Ich finde, das was René da eingefangen hat, sucht Seinesgleichen. Bestimmte Worte, die klein sind, aber trotzdem viel bedeuten“ , sagt Petry weiter: „Er hat einen Spruch von meinem Vater eingebaut, den mein Vater immer sagt, und da hat er ihm gut zugehört. Mein Vater sagt nämlich immer: 'Es wird alles gut.' Und der kommt ja das eine oder andere Mal da drin vor.“

Was dabei rauskam, das könnt Ihr Euch hier anschauen und anhören:

Das Video Making-of

„Rettungsboot“ ist das erste Duett, was Wolfgang Petry überhaupt jemals aufgenommen hat in seiner Karriere, wie uns sein Sohn Achim berichtet. Das machte den gemeinsamen Videodreh ganz besonders, wie Achim Petry weiter erklärt. Die ganze Geschichte habe auch eine spezielle Herausforderung gehabt: „Die Szene, in der ich meinen Vater in den Arm nehme, ganz am Ende, die hat einen bestimmten Hintergrund. Mein Vater saß zehn Stunden in einem Auto drin und hat uns durch die Gegend gefahren. Und er hatte nichts zu essen gehabt. Da wird mein Vater ziemlich ungehalten. Meine Mutter und der Plattenchef waren leider nicht anwesend und hatten ihm auch nicht seinen Salat gebracht. Und ich gehe an der Tür vorbei, wir wollten noch diese Szene drehen wo ich runterspringe und er aussteigt, und er meinte nur: 'Ich habe Hunger!' Und ich dachte: 'Scheiße! Wo sind die? Warum helfen die nicht?' Und springe runter und, das war auch nicht abgesprochen, nehme ihn in den Arm und meinte: 'Vater, ich glaube Du bist jetzt fertig und kannst was essen.' Das fand ich sehr geil, denn immer wenn ich diese Szene sehe, muss ich an diesen Moment denken. Der natürlicher ist als die Leute glauben, weil ich ihn nur in den Arm nehmen wollte und ihm mitteilen wollte: 'Du bist durch. Dein Martyrium ist beendet'.“

Achim und Wolfgang Petrys Vater-Sohn-Beziehung

Doch so ungeplant diese Szene im Video zu „Rettungsboot“ auch ist, so ehrlich spiegelt sie eigentlich die Beziehung zwischen Achim und Wolfgang Petry wieder. Denn die beiden verbindet viel, musikalisch, wie auch charakterlich, wie Achim Petry uns bestätigt: „Ich würde sagen, es gibt mehr Parallelen als Unterschiede. Musikalisch gesehen würde ich uns, geschmacklich, in derselben Ecke sehen, denn wir hören auch die gleichen Sachen. Ich bin da noch etwas breiter gefächert als er. Wenn er bei AC/DC aufhört, da mache ich noch ein bisschen weiter. Aber sonst – mein Vater hat mir ja eigentlich alles mit auf den Weg gegeben. Also unbewusst oder bewusst.“ Als „musikalische Zukunft“ seines Vaters sieht er sich aber dennoch nicht: „Ich glaube das würde zu weit führen. Ich glaube mein Vater gestaltet seine Zukunft selber und im Moment sieht es so aus, als ob seine Zukunft mit meiner verknüpft ist.“

Außerdem sieht sich Achim Petry auch nicht in der Not, seinen Vater mit an Bord zu holen, um seine Karriere zu pushen, wie es oftmals bei berühmten Vater-Sohn-Gespannen gemunkelt wird. Für ihn ist es vielmehr das Normalste von der Welt: „ Ich lese oft 'ja, da hilft der Vater wieder dem Sohn'. Ich bin seit acht Jahren unterwegs, ich bräuchte das eigentlich nicht, aber ich finde es ganz natürlich. Ich würde dasselbe für meine Kinder tun, wenn sie denn den – nein, die werden keine Musiker! Auf gar keinen Fall!“ fügt er hinzu und lacht. Er würde seinen beiden Kindern zwar nicht im Weg stehen, wenn sie doch denselben Weg einschlagen würden wie ihr Vater und ihr Opa, aber er würde ihnen denselben Ratschlag mit auf den Weg geben, den auch Achim schon von seinem Vater bekam: „Erstmal was Vernünftiges lernen.“

Dass Achim Petry es auch alleine kann, das hat er längt bewiesen. Zahlreiche Konzerte und TV-Auftritte bestimmen in den kommenden Monaten seinen knappen Zeitplan. Doch mit seinem Vater ist es natürlich noch schöner, finden auch die Fans, die auf Achim Petrys Facebook-Seite begeisterte Kommentare zum Vater-Sohn-Duett gepostet haben. Deshalb stellen wir natürlich auch die einleuchtendste aller Fragen zu diesem Zeitpunkt…

Wird „Wolle“ wieder zurückkommen?

Nach Comeback-Album und gemeinsamem Duett, wie wahrscheinlich ist dann wohl ein Wolfgang Petry Comeback? „Ich weiß nicht, wo es meinen Vater noch hinträgt. Ich glaube er hat ein bisschen Blut geleckt wieder Musik zu machen und das finde ich eigentlich auch das Beste an der ganzen Geschichte. Ich denke ihm ging da schon was ab, aber er brauchte auch die Pause. Auch er ist älter geworden, auch er ist reifer geworden, sieht manchen Dingen viel, viel gelassener entgegen und dem was noch kommen kann. Er hat einer Zeitschrift gegenüber mal behauptet, dass man nicht weiß, was noch kommt. Ich wusste von dem Satz nicht und der hat mich auch nochmal überrascht. Wie gesagt, was mein Vater noch vorhat oder was da alles noch kommen könnte, das kann ich nicht sagen. Ich würde mich echt freuen, wenn er wieder auf die Bühne kommen würde. Ich glaube auch, dass ihm da wirklich was fehlt – musikalisch gesehen. Nicht der ganze Rummel, Stadion und Hastenichtgesehen, sondern einfach auf die Bühne zu gehen und einfach wieder Musik zu machen.“

Und nicht nur Achim Petry – tausende deutsche „Wolle“-Fans würden sich sicherlich mindestens genauso über ein Wolfgang Petry Comeback freuen!
