If You’re Wondering, Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendes Are Still One Of The Cutest Celebrity Couples Around

Ryan is certainly making the most of his huge platform during interviews for his upcoming movie.

It’s fair to say that Ryan Gosling ’s biggest supporter throughout his career-defining tenure as Ken in Barbie was his wife, Eva Mendes .

While the two normally try to keep their 12-year relationship as private as possible, Eva couldn’t help but gush over her husband on social media throughout awards season.

When Ryan’s song from the movie, “I’m Just Ken,” won a Critics' Choice Award — and his subsequent reaction went viral — Eva proudly shared the clip to her Instagram page and simply wrote: “I LOVE HIM!!!!"

And after Ryan was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his performance at this year’s Oscars, Eva shared a screenshot of a damning 2022 Rolling Stone article that poked fun at Ryan when the first photos of him as Ken were released.

"So proud of my man," she wrote alongside the screenshot. "So much hate when he took on this role. So many people trying to shame him for doing it. Despite all the #Notmyken ridicule and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to Oscars."

"So beyond proud to be this Ken’s Barbie 💕," Eva poignantly added.

And Ryan revealed that Eva and their two children had a hand in his showstopping performance of “I’m Just Ken” on Oscar night, telling People they had given him “some tips and some notes” after watching his dress rehearsal the day before the event.

While Eva didn’t attend the ceremony with Ryan, she did share a photo of herself seemingly backstage as she posed in a cowboy hat and the pink jacket from the performance. She gushed in the caption: “You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG. Now come home, we need to put the kids to bed. 💋”

Although ryan joked about struggling to move on from ken in his saturday night live monologue earlier this month, he officially put the character behind him after the oscars..

He is now going full throttle with promotion for his new movie, The Fall Guy , with him and his costar Emily Blunt currently working the global interview circuit ahead of the film’s release.

But it isn’t just The Fall Guy that Ryan is promoting, with people noticing that he is not-so-subtly using his huge platform to reciprocate the endless support that Eva has shown his career over the years by wearing a T-shirt advertising her latest venture.

During a host of interviews, including an appearance on British daytime show This Morning , Ryan is wearing a white top that reads: “Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries by Eva Mendes.”

This is the title of Eva’s debut children’s book, which Eva previously told People is "a love letter to my kids and yours," and is due for release in September.

Needless to say, fans love ryan’s sweet nod to his wife, with somebody sharing screenshots from the this morning interview and tweeting: “ryan gosling doing promo wearing a shirt with the name of eva mendes's book like”.

Others were quick to share their response in the quote tweets, with one writing : “ryan gosling, the man that you are.” Another user tweeted : “That’s a good man fr.”

“God I’ve seen what you’ve done for others…” somebody else joked , while one more simply tweeted : “I love this man so much.”

If you didn’t know, Ryan and Eva fell in love while shooting the 2012 movie The Place Beyond the Pines together. They married in 2016 and share two children: 9-year-old Esmerelda and 7-year-old Amada.

Ryan previously recalled the moment that he realized Eva was The One in an interview with GQ , where he said: “There were moments on The Place Beyond the Pines where we were pretending to be a family, and I didn’t really want it to be pretend anymore.”

“I wasn’t thinking about kids before I met her, but after I met Eva, I realized that I just didn’t want to have kids without her,” he added. “I realized that this would be a life I would be really lucky to have.”

Eva took a step back from acting after welcoming their children — a decision that she recently called a “no-brainer.”  She explained on Today : “It was almost just like a non-verbal agreement that it was, OK, he's going to work, and I'm going to work, I’m just going to work here."

Ryan Gosling Wears T-Shirt with Eva Mendes’ Book Title During UK Press Tour

The 'Barbie' alum shared the sweet yet subtle tribute to his longtime partner

Ryan Gosling is supporting Eva Mendes in the cutest way possible!

As the Barbie star, 43, is currently promoting his next film The Fall Guy overseas with Emily Blunt , he’s keeping his partner, 50, near and dear to his heart.

On Monday, April 29, Hits Radio shared a video interview of the costars to the station’s YouTube account. 

In the clip, Gosling is seen wearing a T-shirt that reads, "Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries” — which happens to be the title of Mendes’ debut children’s book, out later this fall. 

" Desi, Mami and the Never-Ending Worries is a love letter to my kids and yours,” the Hitch actress told PEOPLE exclusively in February.

Gosling and Mendes, who have been together since 2011, are parents to two daughters : Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 8. 

“Learning how to train our brain to work for us and not against us is easier said than done! At my home and in Desi's, we try to deal with the never-ending worries and anxieties that we all have, so those negative thoughts don’t take over and dominate,” she continued.

The book hits shelves on Sept. 17 and will be available in both English and Spanish.

Mendes has previously explained why although she and Gosling have been together for more than a decade, they do not do red carpets together and are rarely seen side by side at other Hollywood events.

Last April, she shared a clip on Instagram of a scene from 2012's The Place Beyond the Pines — a film in which she and Gosling costarred. 

In her caption, she noted that the crime thriller was not their first time meeting. 

While responding to commenters, Mendes said she’s "only comfortable posting" images with Gosling that are already publicly available.

One user made mention of how they would love to see the pair at Barbie events, to which the actress responded, "What a cool comment, thank you. But we don't do those things together."

In early March, a source shared with PEOPLE their take on the couple’s longevity. 

“It truly seems they are surviving Hollywood as a couple, because of the way they‘ve handled being famous. They try their best to stay out of the spotlight," the insider said.

HOUSTON (AP) — Time marches on and all good things must come to an end. But don’t tell that to The Rolling Stones .

What many believe to be the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world showed no signs of slowing down anytime soon as they kicked off their latest tour Sunday night at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

The Stones have been touring for more than 60 years. Frontman Mick Jagger and lead guitarist Keith Richards are both 80, with guitarist Ronnie Wood not far behind at 76. Their tour is being sponsored in part by AARP.

But during a vibrant two-hour show, the Stones played with the energy of band that was on tour for the first time.

“It’s great to be back in the Lone Star State,” Jagger told the packed stadium, filled with longtime fans, many wearing faded concert shirts from previous tours.

Jagger often strutted up and down the stage with seemingly boundless energy while Richards and Wood played many familiar guitar riffs beloved by fans. Jagger often led the audience in sing-alongs.

“The energy level is up and it’s always up with them. The age doesn’t show,” Dale Skjerseth, the Stones’ production director, said Friday before the concert.

The Stones have hit the road to support the release of their latest album, “Hackney Diamonds,” the band’s first record of original music since 2005.

Houston was the first stop on the band’s 16-city tour across the U.S. and Canada. Other cities on the tour include New Orleans, Philadelphia and Vancouver, British Columbia. The tour ends on July 17 in Santa Clara, California.

During Sunday’s 18-song concert set list, the Stones played several tracks off the new record, including lead single “Angry.” They also played classics including “Sympathy for the Devil,” “Gimme Shelter,” Honky Tonk Women” and “Start Me Up.”

After playing “Beast of Burden,” Jagger said that concertgoers in Houston had voted to include it on the set list.

“You can’t go wrong with that,” one man in the audience could be heard screaming.

The Stones also played some unexpected choices, including “Rocks Off,” from their 1972 double album “Exile on Main St.” and “Out of Time,” a 1966 song that Jagger said during the concert had not ever been played by the band in the U.S.

With the 2021 death of drummer Charlie Watts , the Stones are now comprised of the core trio of Jagger, Richards and Wood. On Sunday, they were backed by various musicians including two keyboardists, a new drummer, backup singers and a brass section.

While the stage was surrounded by a large collection of video screens projecting images throughout the show, the main focus of the concert was the band and their songs

Before Sunday’s concert, Jagger spent time on Friday touring NASA’s Johnson Space Center in suburban Houston, posting photos on his Instagram account of him with astronauts inside Mission Control.

“I had an amazing trip to the space center,” Jagger said.

When asked if the band might be thinking about retiring, Skjerseth said he doubts that will happen.

“This is not the end. They’re very enthused,” he said.
