I was on a trip and driving on the highway when something underneath on my car began dragging and making an awful sound. Other cars were flashing lights and honking. I got off the highway and was lucky to be within 2 miles of this shop which the AAA rep directed me to. They were FABULOUS! I had my dogs with me and they allowed me to bring them into the store while they checked my car. They took it right away, told me what had happened, that the car was safe to drive, and sent me on my way having paid $0. FANTASTIC- friendly and couldn't have been kinder to me. I had 200 miles left on my trip and made it without any trouble.

Brought car in because there is an air leak in a hose and was trying to figure out what hose. I was quoted 1500+ for new back rotors/ pads and CALIPERS lol so, my back brakes were done a few months back and calipers have been done in the last couple years ( car has high miles) . Tried to suggest other things that were clearly them treating a woman like an idiot . Too bad because their insurance agents are great ! Moving forward I wouldn't even go there for an oil change. Their bogus upselling was worse than dealerships .

I don't know what branch the agent Sandra Gains works for however she is very rude.......for no reason. Maybe she was having a a bad day idk but that's still no excuse

The mechanics at AAA are not overly bright and absolutely inexperienced. AAA is the equivalent to the McDonald's of Fast Food. Pretty shitty.

I set up an appointment for my 1976 Cadillac. They assured me that they had an experienced Mechanic who knew older cars. Once I brought it there, however, I received a phone call from them telling me that they don't work on older cars. Keep in mind that all of the parts are readily available. There are no rust issues. The rear set-up is exactly like that of any modern rear-wheel drive car, only simpler. My family has had AAA since 1967. I have my life insurance through them too. If they do this to one of their oldest customers, what could they do to you? Apparently, customer loyalty isn't of any value there.

I had my car dropped off Saturday night for a new battery . I called Monday morning to let them know it was the battery that I needed. Around 3:00 I hadn't heard from them so I called and I was told that my car was just being brought in. I reminded them I need a new battery and I was qualified for a free one . I get a call back saying they had to call AAA to verify that I was a premium member and they would call me back to let me know if I really qualified. Around 4:30 I called back again and was told they never made the call, but they would call now. Less than an hour before they closed I was told the car was ready and if I wanted my car I had to be there before 6..... I had 12 mins to get there from another town ! I arrived on time but I was told the car wasn't ready and to come back tomorrow. Over the phone I was told it was ready so I explained that and I needed my car for work it's just me I was not able to rely on someone else to help me. The manager as he claimed to be raised his voice saying I wasn't going to get my car . So I asked for corporate number and he refused and a young lady came up to me with a number and then the manager changed his attitude and had a mechanic finish my car, half hr later. In the exchange of words manager and a couple of mechanics were rude and snickering . Now about a week later the panel they had to remove to put battery in is loose and falling off! Tried to email you twice failure to send

Overbooked for an appointment. Can't get to my 12:30 appointment for an hour. Said they tried to call me. Did not get called. I drove all the way there. Couldn't wait that long. Be wary

I MADE A YELP ACCOUNT LITERALLY JUST TO WRITE THIS REVIEW Towed to them 17 December @8am -was expecting a call from them saying they received the car but that did not happen. -That day their phone was off prior to when they officially closed -I called on the 19th(monday) and was told they would call me when they looked at it on 22nd (Thursday)But did not received a call, -I waited until the following Wednesday (28th) to call them. On the phone they told me that they were waiting to talk to the mechanic and alluded to it having been looked at already and to expect a phone call in return later in the day, was never called back. -after some phone calls back and forth in the past few days they told me that they needed the part but it was on back order, today they suggested going to the dealership bc it would be faster for them to get the part (which just doesn't make sense bc it's the same time frame to get the part on back order). -after telling them I can get the part to them they told me that they just realized they don't have the tools for this job and that I now definitely have to move it to a dealership to fix the part. -now at my new shop and they are telling me that there are no special tools and this company was full of s***. I'm done.

I brought the car in for a flat a rather I had it towed in for a flat now it's 24 hours later and they still have the car I'm not impressed.

I lost my wallet and stopped in to get a replacement license. From the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out with a new temporary license was less than 20 minutes. This after trying for over a month to get this done through the regular DMV offices.

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
