Manali local sightseeing

On arrival in Manali, transfer & check in at the hotel .Later in the day proceed for local sightseeing. Tour starts by visiting Hadimba Temple – Dating back to 1533, this heritage temple is devoted to Goddess Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima. The temple is beautifully set against the gorgeous Cedar forest. The temple is aid to build on rock which replicates to the image of the goddess. The highlight of temple is its architecture which boasts its wooden doorways, cone shaped roof and walls.  Club house is a full doze of entertainment for kids housing an auditorium, billiards room, roller skating rink, library and a restaurant. Vashisht Bath is located in small village in proximity to Manali. The village is famous for hot water sulphur springs and Vashisht Temple. The springs are believed to carry healing properties which help in curing various skin diseases and other infections. The temple situated next to springs is devoted to Lord Vashisht and Lord Rama. Tibetan Monastery replicates a rich culture of Tibetan people. These colorful monasteries draw huge attention of numerous tourists from across the globe. Day 1 CHENNAI-DELHI

Travel starts from Chennai Airport to Delhi by flight.

Pick up from Delhi airport, Delhi sightseeing (depended on arrival time), visit Indira Gandhi & Rajiv Gandhi memorials, Lotus temple & Akshardham temple. Evening Travel to Agra (Yamuna expressway). Dinner & night stay at Agra Hotel.

Day 2 AGRA-MATHURA

After Breakfast check out from the hotel, visit Agra Fort & Taj mahal. Evening Travel back to Delhi on the way visits Mathura temple. Dinner & night stay at Delhi hotel.

Day 3 DELHI-MANALI

After Breakfast, Proceed for Delhi local sightseeing, Red fort, India gate & Rashtrapati Bhawan, Qutub Minar, Metro ride & later in the evening travel to Manali by road (Night Travel)

Day 4 MANALI

Arrive Manali in the morning, Check-in at the hotel, fresh up, Breakfast & going to Manali local sightseeing, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Doongri temple houses Goddess Hadimba (Hiram Devi) has 4 tried pagoda shaped roof with a doorway carved with figures and symbols. Tibetan Monastery A new colourful Buddhist temple. Dinner & night stay at Manali hotel.

Day 5 MANALI

Rohtang pass after Breakfast, travel to Rohtang pass (snow point) paragliding(cost extra), Solanki valley sightseeing, (As per weather conditions), Dinner & night stay at Manali hotel. Points:- Rothang Pass is the highest point, 4,112m, on the Manali-Keylong road, 51KmManali town. It provides a wide panoramic view of mountains rising far above clouds, which is a site truly breathtaking.

Day 6 KULLU

After Breakfast, visit Kullu,( enjoy water Rafting(cost extra) Manali shopping later in the evening travel back to Delhi by road (night travel)

Day 7 DELHI-CHENNAI

Arrive Delhi in the morning, after fresh up at hotel, Breakfast & Delhi local shopping. Later drop in at Delhi airport & travel back to Chennai by flight.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. The evening is at leisure or take an optional tour to the Red Fort for the sound & light show, Stay Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi - Agra

This morning, you will be transferred by road to the Mughal city of Agra (206 kms / 3.5 hrs) This afternoon you visit the Agra Fort and the spectacular Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, Stay Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Agra - Jaipur

Early this morning, you will be transferred by road to the pink city of Jaipur (221 kms / 5 hrs), enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Proceed to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure OR take an optional tour of the ethnic Rajasthani village of Chokhi Dhani, Stay Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Jaipur - Delhi

This morning, visit the Amber fort, where you enjoy an elephant ride. Drive past the Hawa Mahal, and visit the City Palace and museum, walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar In the evening drive to Delhi. Reach Delhi late night , stay overnight in hotel.

Day 5 : Delhi - Manali (580kms)

Early Morning Drive to Manali. Reach Manali in late evening. Check in hotel, stay overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Manali Local Sight Seeing

Half Day local sightseeing of Manali 'HADIMBA TEMPLE' Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. 'CLUB HOUSE' The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.' Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and 'VASHIST' Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

Day 7 : Rohtang Pass Up To Snow Line

After Breakfast at hotel. Today full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Up to Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Sollang Valley. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8 : Manali - Shimla (260 kms)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Shimla, 7 hrs. On the way you will see Satlaj River, Mandi, Sunder Nagar , Beautiful Apple Gardens, Famous Himalayan God & Goddess Temples. Arrive Shimla in the evening and check into the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 9 : Shimla - Kufri

After breakfast, today full day excursion visiting Kufri and near spot. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - The Mall & the Ridge. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Shimla - Delhi (370 kms)

After Breakfast, Drive to Delhi. After arrival in Delhi, transfer will be provided till airport or Railway station.
