Emily has had a love of Disney Parks since her first visit to Walt Disney World at two years old. After that first bit of pixie dust, she was hooked! Since then she has been to Walt Disney World more times than she could ever count. Her favorite memories are each of her daughters’ first visits, celebrating the 50th Anniversary with the Upon A Star team, and visiting Disneyland for the first time. Each trip is unique and there is always something to celebrate!

From a young age, Emily was planning theme trips to Disney properties, before she even knew it could be an actual job!

She moved to Florida the summer after High School and has been a resident for over twenty years. Last year, she made the move to live around the corner from Cinderella Castle, completing her dream. It’s also a perk to see the fireworks nightly!

This year she is marrying her Cast Member fiancé, Jeremy, and they are joining their families together…five daughters included (Ella, Adrianna, Madeline, Abigail, Paige). Two things I love are traveling and event planning, so there’s nothing better than being a travel agent.

My first vacation memory is Donald Ducks birthday party at Disneyland when I was 5. After that first Disney trip, I visited Walt Disney World at least once a year with my parents. Once I got older, we began cruising. My first cruise was a 3 day on the Carnival Fantasy to the Bahamas. Being a teenager on a cruise was the best vacation. I got to enjoy family time along with meeting new friends in the teen clubs and enjoying all the activities they offered. I have been on multiple cruise ships, cruise lines and visited many ports. I am also a member of the Cruise Line International Association and have earned my Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) degree.

As an adult, I have experienced many All-Inclusive Vacations. Traveling with my spouse to an island and staying in a hotel on the beach, having all your food, beverages and multiple activities included was our favorite vacation. Now that we have a family of our own, we enjoy traveling to Disney, cruising and beach vacation with our children and making memories for them to share.

One asked the other if they had heard of Fastpasses, and the other replied, "No, but I wish I had known about them! We could have saved so much time! I don't even know how much they are!" David smiled, knowing there would always be a need for magical vacation planners.

Since visiting Disney World for the first time in 1982 as a 7-year-old (who thought that Epcot, half built at that time, was actually in the "big silver ball") , David has been in love with Disney, from enjoying Disney's Movie of the Week in the '80s to hosting Disney movie VHS release parties in his dorm in college, and it's a passion that led to his two stints with the Disney store and eventually becoming a Disney Travel Planner.

Married to The Lovely Steph Leann, they welcomed a son in 2011. Their frequent Disney visits took a new turn 2 years later when their son was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Her parents were taking her older sister to dinner, and waiting for the babysitter to arrive. When they opened the door, Winnie the Pooh stood there! The babysitter had to cancel, so Winnie came over instead. That was the beginning of a lifelong love story with the magic of Disney for Nikki. Since then she has been well over a hundred times, along with visits to Disneyland and a Disney Cruise.

Nikki’s whole life has been immersed in travel all over the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. She even pursued her graduate career in the industry, earning her Master’s Degree in Travel & Tourism at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She and her husband plan to retire in Jamaica.

Kasey’s love of travel started early with her grandmother’s influence. Her grandmother used her earnings from selling real estate to take the family on vacations from road trips to cruises. She wanted everyone to always have a trip planned and something to look forward to.

Kasey still lives by this motto and as soon as one trip is over, she is ready to plan the next. When her husband proposed, she asked if they could honeymoon in Hawaii, he answered “yes” and therefore she so did she! They have been married since 2003. Their twin boys were born in 2009. The twins first trip to Walt Disney World was in 2011 and they have gone yearly since. She started her travel planning business in 2014. Since then, they have also traveled to Disneyland on their way to Aulani in Hawaii. They have sailed on Disney Cruise Line over 5 times. They have also sailed Royal Caribbean and have visited Universal Studios Orlando several times. She also enjoys non-family vacations as well and has been to Sandals and Beaches as well as several other resorts without them. She has also participated in 3 Run Disney Half Marathon Weekends.

While her family enjoys beach vacations the best, they have had several road trips and enjoy visiting National Parks. Two of their most memorable trips were to Yellowstone and to Washington, D.C.

When Kasey isn’t planning travel, she can be found in the classroom teaching. She has a background in Special Education and enjoys watching the magic in an elementary age students’ eyes when they unlock the ability to read. She finds her classroom experience helps her travel business by keeping her in touch with families with different needs and helps her stay organized as planning is what she enjoys most.

Growing up in Georgia, one of her earliest memories is a Disney World trip at age 4. Susan’s family focuses greatly on creating memories and experiences through travel. I enjoy planning my own vacations. why should i use a travel agent.

Many of our clients enjoy being involved in planning their own vacations from start to finish and you still have that ability when using a travel agent!  But unforeseen issues arise for even the most experienced travelers, and it is always nice to have someone ready to go to work for you when you need it the most. We are here to assist as much or as little as you would like.

I have already booked my trip directly with the vendor. Are you still able to assist me?

Absolutely!  Many vendors will allow your reservation to be transferred to our agency provided that it meet certain booking criteria.  If for some reason we are not able to transfer your reservation over, our agents will discuss our planning fee with you for vacations booked outside of our agency.

How do we pay for our vacation package?

All payments for your vacation will go directly to supplier you are booking with.  However, as your agent, we must process the payments on your behalf using our agency credentials and processors.  Most clients utilize credit cards for all payments, but many destinations also accept brand-specific gift cards. We do not accept cash or check for payments.

What if a discount is released after I book my vacation?

Disney destinations as well as Universal Orlando Resort will allow us to apply discounts to existing qualifying reservations.  Our agents will work hard to apply future discounts to existing reservations on behalf of their clients.  For other destinations, please speak with your agent or refer to your package’s terms & conditions.  Also, please note that not all resorts and/or room types qualify for discounts, and some destinations may charge a small change fee when reducing the price of a package.  

Should I purchase travel insurance?

Yes. We always recommend travel insurance to our clients.  It is a small fee to pay for peace of mind. This is especially true for clients traveling out of the country via a cruise or other tour group such as Adventures by Disney.  Your personal health insurance usually will not cover expenses incurred outside of the U.S. It is advisable to have special coverage in case of emergencies.  Insurance rates and terms may vary from vendor to vendor.   

Is there a cost to work with your agency?

We are paid a modest commission from our suppliers for booking vacation packages with them. Star sighting: Hayley and Derek Hough at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Derek Hough, dancer/judge/six-time champion of “Dancing With the Stars,” and his wife Hayley Erbert Hough visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park recently as they kicked off another leg of the Symphony of Dance tour.

The couple, along with the rest of the tour’s dance cast and crew, went to Animal Kingdom on the day before their performance at Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, one of four stops in Florida.

An earlier performance in Melbourne marked the return to the stage by Hayley Hough, who had an emergency craniectomy in December after a tour performance.  She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma due to a burst blood vessel. She has since had a cranioplasty, surgery to replace part of her skull. ( People magazine reported a standing ovation for her Melbourne performance.)

The couple made a red carpet appearance at a Disney+ event and also announced her return to the tour earlier this month. The cities on this leg of the tour were originally scheduled for late last year and postponed by the surgery.

The couple married in August. They met in 2014 during Derek Hough’s tour with his sister Julianne Hough.  Derek Hough has four Emmys for his choreography. Hayley Hough appeared as a contestant on “So You Think You Can Dance” and as a member of the troupe in multiple seasons of “Dancing With the Stars.”

TOKYO (AP) — Japan’s first moon lander has survived a third freezing lunar night, Japan’s space agency said Wednesday after receiving an image from the device three months after it landed on the moon.

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said the lunar probe responded to a signal from the earth Tuesday night, confirming it has survived another weekslong lunar night.

Temperatures can fall to minus 170 degrees Celsius (minus 274 degrees Fahrenheit) during a lunar night, and rise to around 100 Celsius (212 Fahrenheit) during a lunar day.

The probe, Smart Lander for Investing Moon, or SLIM, reached the lunar surface on Jan. 20, making Japan the fifth country to successfully place a probe on the moon. SLIM on Jan. 20 landed the wrong way up with its solar panels initially unable to see the sun, and had to be turned off within hours, but powered on when the sun rose eight days later.

SLIM, which was tasked with testing Japan’s pinpoint landing technology and collecting geological data and images, was not designed to survive lunar nights.

JAXA said on the social media platform X that SLIM’s key functions are still working despite repeated harsh cycles of temperature changes. The agency said it plans to closely monitor the lander’s deterioration.

Scientists are hoping to find clues about the origin of the moon by the comparing mineral compositions of moon rocks and those of Earth.

The message from SLIM came days after NASA restored contact with Voyager 1 , the farthest space probe from earth, which had been sending garbled data back to earth for months.

An U.S. lunar probe developed by a private space company announced termination of its operation a month after its February landing, while an Indian moon lander failed to establish communication after touchdown in 2023.
