We just got back from the Moon Palace Grand and I must say we had an amazing time! We were there for our wedding and stayed 8 nights. We had about 50 guests and all of them had a great time. There is something to do for everyone. Even staying 8 nights, we didn’t have enough time to try all restaurants. However, our top favorites were JC Steakhouse, Casa Mia, and Tavola. The water park is so much fun! We went there a couple times and it never felt very busy. We stayed at the resort from May 3rd-11th which was perfect time as they considered it slow season. I would say that we noticed service getting slower Thurs-Sunday. I got my hair and makeup done my Diana Chavez and (Mayra Hernandez somewhat helped as well) and they were amazing. They made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. They worked miracles as I don’t know how my thick hair stayed in place with the humidity. Overall, all staff was very nice and friendly. Janett Zamudio was our wedding coordinator and we absolutely loved her. She was very patient, sweet, and everything came out perfect. Humberto at Unique Adults pool was very welcoming & accommodating. Leonardo at Habibi had great recommendations & was extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend staying here during the right time. We will definitely come back during their slow season.

My family has been vacationing with Palace Resorts for many years and this was our second family trip the The Grand. It was just as incredible as the first! The rooms are clean and the beds are so cozy. The selection of food and restaurants is top notch; the hardest part of our vacation is always deciding where and what to eat. The best part of our vacation is always interacting with the friendly staff. They go above and beyond their duties and always make our experience memorable. Our favorite breakfast spot is Habibi - Raul, Blanca, and Leonardo there always provide excellent service. Tomas and Luis at JC Steak are incredibly hard working and hospitable. Angelica at Casa Mia made my anniversary dinner very special with all the decor and mariachi band. Our waiter Alvaro at the diamond pool is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen; he was always on his feet taking and delivering food/drink orders and did it all with a smile. Our diamond pool concierges Fernando and Juan Carlos also made sure we always had what we needed. Our butler Luis was very welcoming and helpful too. Lastly, my masseuse Heydy at the Awe Spa gave me the most relaxing massage I've ever experienced. I highly recommend The Grand for your next vacation!

Our family loves Moon Palace, especially The Grand Cancun. We come here every year (except 2020) for our family vacation since 2015. The place is very clean, the food is so good. Staff are very friendly and work so hard to please you. Big shout out to all the staff at Moon Palace Cancun, especially the following staff who directly served us with the great service: First is our best Diamond Concierge Prax at Nizuc, then Julian, very friendly and courtesy driver who picked us up at the airport when we first arrived and driver Jorge who took us back to the airport at the end of our vacation. We felt very safe with their driving skills. Samuel who was super friendly helped to bring our luggage to the room. During our stay, Raul, golf cart driver was so nice and friendly. Let me start by saying we have been Palace members for years and always stay with them when vacationing in Mexico. This trip was slightly different, as my youngest son and his fiancé were getting married on the Cusco Rooftop at the Grand and let’s just say it was an excellent trip. Absolutely everything was incredible. The food, the service, the accommodations and the ceremony, all incredible. Javier and Octavio, our butlers for the stay, provided excellent service and took care of all our needs. Isis, the wedding planner was on top of everything and as such the wedding and the reception went off without a hitch! The staff that worked the reception were warm and friendly and made sure no one was ever holding an empty glass. Besides the wedding we also got to spend plenty of time in the Library with McGiver and Ana. McGiver makes a great Smoked Old Fashion and Ana makes sure they never run out. Joel, Joaquin, Anderson, Rashid and Alfredo all took great care of us at the Cusco Pool, so make sure you spend time with them if you ever find yourself there. Of course, our good friend Miguel, whom we’ve known for years and is now on the management team, checked in on us just about every day to make sure things were going well. We also made sure to eat at our favorite places like Jade, The Grill, Travola and Los Tacos when we could. In short, I could not be happier with the way things turned out this trip. Palace resorts are the only resorts for me!

8 Awesome Things to do at The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun Resort

When it comes to large all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, the Moon Palace has one of the highest profiles. And during a recent stay at The Grand at Moon Palace, I discovered 8 fun and surprising things to do that are far from the usual experiences at a Cancun hotel.

In this Cancun travel video , I share at The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun, the most upscale part of the Moon Palace all-inclusive resort. This Mexico hotel has a bunch of things that you can’t find at most Mexico beach resorts, making it an especially interesting place to stay. I also give an in-person, unfiltered and unscripted tour of my hotel guest room, which features a balcony, large Jacuzzi tub and lovely decor. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive Mexico beach vacation, this video might provide some inspiration.

So let’s take a look at  8 AWESOME THINGS TO DO  at The Grand at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun. 

#1 is to go bowling! Yes, the Grand has its own bowling alley! 

 #2 is get wet at the giant Water Park! This is NOT your everyday hotel pool. It’s a giant park with multiple water slides, a lazy river, a ProFlow surfing wave simulator and a wave pool. 

#3 is for the kids: ride the bumper cars! The Playroom at the Grand features actual bumper cars as well as neon mini golf and other fun activities. 

Habibi is a beautiful Lebanese restaurant at The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun Resort.

#4 is savor the Lebanese cuisine at Habibi. This is the only all-inclusive resort I’ve visited that has a Lebanese restaurant, and it is DELICIOUS. (For another unique Cancun restaurant experience, consider The Grand Journey, a table mapping dinner experience.)

After you’ve eaten, you can do #5 : Pop into the speakeasy! Hidden behind a row of inconspicuous bookshelves, The Library is a decidedly cool place to sip a cocktail. It’s not your average hotel bar, by a long shot.

#6 is to work off the calories by heading to the large fitness center and take a seat in front of the gigantic screen for extra motivation to get moving! 

#7 is something especially relaxing: Make an appointment at the Awe Spa, a luxuriously large spa that features a juice bar, beauty salon, barber shop, and a gorgeous hydrotherapy facility with a large pool.

I've been to the Moon Palace in Cancun a couple times and absolutely loved it! I'll have to plan a trip sometimes soon so I can branch out and try more restaurants. I tend to be a creature of habit and eat at the same ones repeatedly.

Yes! So glad you've been able to go! Yes, I know- we mostly went to buffets for lunch the first time we went, but this time we discovered all of the outdoor options, around the pools, and I'm so glad we did! There are so many options that you can just keep on discovering new things with each visit!

Oh my goodness. All you can macaron? And tacos? This all looks sooooo good.

If I get the chance to visit Cancun, I'd just stay at the places with all the delicious food. My family can go ahead and go to the beach, or explore where they want. They can just leave me behind. I will be fine as long as the food is that good! Haha.

My friend and I go to Moon Palace ever year (we leave the husbands at home), and we absolutely love it there. We haven't eaten at Los Corporals for breakfast, because we love the variety of the buffet, but will have to try it this year. We love Asedero for lobster, and use our RC's to enjoy it thoroughly! We haven't been to the golf course for dinner, in a number of years because we weren't that impressed with the food, but I believe that the Riviera Maya is a new one so we will check it out! I try to book all of our stuff, well in advance, and we love the Tequila and wine tasting events. We have a favorite bartender at the Nizuc Lobby bar, and look forward to seeing all of them. Thanks for sharing this, it reminds me that there are still more options to try out! There is a sweet lady who brings out the ice cream cart in the afternoon, poolside, and she always has lemon saved for me, they are always so thoughtful.

That would be an amazing girls trip!! We haven't been to Los Caporales yet for breakfast either- that'll have to be on the list for next time! Yes, we saw the ice cream cart during our trip too! But it wasn't a lady the time we were there- it was a gentleman who had a nametag calling him "the dancing chef"! :) He DID love to dance! Yes, it's nice to get to know people there! I saw something about a tacos al pastor cart that's new as well- and that's my husband's favourite meal, so we'll have to look for it if we can get back someday!

Thank you for all the info I am going to Nizuc March 28 for a week and can't wait to try as many as possible. Can you tell me if I need reservation at any and how to make them in advance or do I have to wait to get their. I am new at this so any help is appreciated.

If you download the PalaceResorts app you can look up each restaurant individually and see their menu, hours, dress code, and whether a reservation is needed!

A spa experience: awe spa, moon palace the grand, riviera maya, mexico.

One of the largest and most prestigious resorts on the Riviera Maya, Moon Palace luxury all-inclusive resort offers guests an extensive range of experiences at the Awe Spa. The Water Journey Ritual allows guests to enjoy a range of hydrotherapy facilities before starting their treatment in one of the 64 spa suites. Separated for males and females, a sauna, cold room with ice chute and steam room (where guests are provided with face, body and hair masks to apply) ensure guests benefit from heat and cold therapy. In addition to these, Swiss showers, aromatherapy showers and heated thermal loungers are available; relax and allow the heat to be absorbed by the muscles while your spa attendant pampers you with a scalp and shoulder massage.

Couples join together at the hydrotherapy pool, with impressive high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling marble walls and shimmering pillars, an array of loungers and circular relaxation beds. The main tepid, hydrotherapy pool includes a variety of jets for different parts of the body and bubble beds. A cold plunge pool and Jacuzzi offer another chance to benefit from contrasting temperatures. From here couples are taken to a separate relaxation lounge than either males or females; crawl into a hanging nest style lounge bed filled with comfy pillows and snooze together before therapists arrive to guide you to the spa suite.

A couple’s treatment in The Grand Suite is comparable to a spa journey all of its own. With a private sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi tub, an entire hydrotherapy ritual happens right here in the suite. Decadent snacks of chocolate, nuts and fruit, beautifully arranged and accompanied by tea or champagne are provided as you relax together. The Grand Experience commences with a body exfoliation and mask, continues with a medium to soft pressure massage and concludes with a facial; select the Diamond Rose Ritual using Damascus Rose essence to hydrate and nourish, or the Royal Oxygen Ritual to purify and energize.

Awe Spa hosts a range of workshops in its Atelier boutique where friends, family or couples can join in small groups to learn advanced skincare techniques, stress relief and achieving calm with essential oils and, in my opinion the most fun, create your own fragrance! Discover the history of perfume and delicate art of selecting base, heart and top notes that combine together to create your ideal fragrance, entirely unique to you! • Moscow State University: The tallest of Moscow's Seven Sisters, it's been housing the State University since 1953, being the tallest educational building in the world with its 240m of height.
• Zuev Workers' Club: Projected by Ilya Golossov to be a recreational center for factory workers, its construction was finished in 1929 and it's still a reference in Constructivist architecture.
• Spasskaya Tower: Overlooking the Red Square, this clock tower on the Kremlin's walls was built by Milanese architect Pietro Antonio Solari back in 1491, and once the Kremlin's main entrance.
