How does the ember mug work.

The difference between the Ember Travel Mug², and a normal travel mug is that, anything can keep something "Hot" for hours, but only the Ember Travel Mug² can keep your favorite hot beverage at your perfect drinking temperature. Whether you call it a smart travel mug or a heated coffee tumbler, your Ember Travel Mug² allows you to control your ideal temperature from our app.

The Ember Travel Mug² uses seven temperature sensors, a rapid cooling system, a microprocessor-controlled heating system, and temperature presets to easily dial in your perfect temperature.

How do I use the Ember Mug?

It's easy! Simply pour in your favorite hot beverage, tap the 'Ember' logo twice, and tap the '+' or '-' on the mug to choose the temperature that tastes right for you. You can also connect Ember to your smartphone via Bluetooth, by downloading the Ember app. The Ember app will notify you when your beverage has hit the perfect drinking temperature.

Can I put my Travel Mug² in the Microwave?

Do not microwave the Ember Mug! The Ember Mug is an electronic device, which should never go in a microwave. As with all electronics and metals, it may result in a fire when heated up in the microwave. Doing so will result in permanent damage to your Ember.

Do I have to have a smart phone for the Ember Mug to work?

No! Your Ember Travel Mug² can be used completely independent of the phone by tapping the 'Ember' logo twice, then the '+' or '-' on the mug to select your temperature. Using the mug independently will limit you from customizing specific features from the Ember mobile app such as adding a name or assigning presets to different drinks.

How long does the Ember Mug battery last?

The Ember Travel Mug² was designed to last an average of three hours on the go. The three-hour battery life is expected when pouring in liquid hot, and a set temperature of 135°F. If you like it cooler, your battery will last longer, and if you like it hotter, battery will decrease slightly.

The battery life will also vary based on a number of external factors such as: external temperature, liquid temperature at pour, speed of liquid consumption, set temperature, whether the lid is on or off, and much more.

Can I use MCT oils in the Ember Travel Mug?

This product is not designed to be used with MCT oils. MCT oils can sometimes be found in drink or food additives. MCT oils react with plastic materials and can degrade them, including the food-grade plastic used in the Ember Travel Mug² lid. MCT oils should only be used with utensils and containers made of metal, glass, ceramic, or materials specifically approved for MCT oils.

When the lid is sealed tightly it is completely spill proof and can keep your beverage hot or cold for a long period of time.

I love the design and safety feature. It does keep my coffee hot and my cold drink cold for hours. Super light and easy to clean.

Total failure

I hate this cup it doesn’t leak but when I turn it up to drink seems like it comes from everywhere I make a mess on my shirt every day on my shirt. Definitely not worth the money. I would have returned if they picked up returns being disabled hard to get to UPS

Great Coffee Travel Mug

Keeps my beverages hot for about 4 hours, Haven't used it for cold beverages yet. Good contour for carrying, feels great in hand. I store it in my back pack sometimes and never had a leak. This is my second Travel mug by this maker, someone stole my first one that I had for 4 years. Easy to clean. Parts inside of lid flip up for easy cleaning.

Great mug for everyday use

This is the original Keurig mug I am using everyday. It is built up with quality material. The lock function works well and only flows when unlocked. Never leaked. It keeps the inside hot for quite a long time. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Handy for “COFFEE” on the go!

This item is nice for coffee “On the GO!” It works as described. It keeps contents hot, or cold until the last drop. If you want something to function interchangeably to consume large amounts of water (or tea), I would suggest something a little larger, BUT if you are using mostly for COFFEE this device is great! The mug hold an ample amount. Perfect for the morning commute! Appearance is nice. Professional appearance will fit in at any office meeting or sitting on desk. No fear that item will tip over, or ruin important documents. Seal is tight and drip-proof. Quality is superior. Item appears to be well made. I expect to use this item for years, and often! ;)

Red Wings’ Patrick Kane drops ‘fun’ take on playoff push before Capitals clash

P atrick Kane and the Detroit Red Wings are gearing up to take a run at the Stanley Cup Playoffs. And perhaps the team’s most important game in years is on the horizon. Detroit is preparing to travel to the nation’s capital to take on the Washington Capitals. It’s a game that could make or break their playoff lives.

Kane has seen it all in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The future Hall of Famer has played in 143 playoff games. Furthermore, he won three Stanley Cups during his run with the Chicago Blackhawks. For him, this is an exciting part of the regular season.

“It’s a fun time of year,” said Kane, via the Red Wings official website. “It’s almost like you’re in the playoffs right now, even though there’s 11 games left. You look at tomorrow like it’s a playoff game.

Patrick Kane is ready for playoff push

Patrick Kane joined the Red Wings during the season after offseason surgery. So far, the veteran forward has performed well above expectations in Hockeytown. Kane has 16 goals and 39 points through 40 games this season. His presence has paid dividends, especially for younger players like Lucas Raymond .

Part of the allure for these late-season games is the weight each victory has. “Obviously it’s a team ahead of us in the standings. If we beat them, we’re in a playoff spot,” the Red Wings star explained, via the team’s official website. “I know they have a game in hand, but they’re playing really well right now. It’ll be a good test for us, but these games are fun to play in.”

Kane has rekindled the connection he formed with Alex DeBrincat in Chicago. Furthermore, he has fit in well with other top players such as Dylan Larkin, Moritz Seider, and Shayne Gostisbehere. He has provided an offensive spark and produced in clutch moments. If the Red Wings do end up making the playoffs, the future Hall of Fame American winger will play an extremely important role.

Red Wings hoping to salvage season

The Red Wings faced the Capitals back on February 27. Detroit entered the game with a seven-point lead over Washington for the final wild card spot in the East. At the end of the night, Patrick Kane and his team came away with an emphatic 8-3 win on home ice. It seemed as if the Winged Wheel was a lock for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

However, Detroit has fallen into quite a slump. The Red Wings have gone 3-9-0 since that game in late February. They have won three of their last five contests. That said, the slump has caused Detroit’s cushion in the standings to completely evaporate. In fact, the Capitals now own the spot the Red Wings once occupied.

The Red Wings have not made the Stanley Cup Playoffs since 2016. Prior to their 2017 miss, Detroit had a remarkable run of 25 consecutive playoff appearances. This included four Stanley Cup victories in 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008. They also made the Stanley Cup Final in 2009, falling to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Patrick Kane and the Red Wings are looking to return to postseason hockey. A win over the Capitals on Tuesday could be a major step in ensuring that happens. Let’s see if Detroit can claim those vital two points and carry that momentum through their final games of the regular season.

• Players afforded opportunities to be seen by VDA ECNL staff for training/promotion opportunities.
• Teams attend some of the top tournaments and showcases including Jefferson Cup, Loudoun Showcase, VDA Showcase, Bethesda Premier Cup, NCFC Tournament Series, Arlington ASIST, and more
• A proven pathway to college and professional levels including 2023 MLS Draft Pick Tyler Clegg . Assistance with college recruiting from senior staff with a long history of college placements. Each team and player has access to an online player profile (U16 and older).
• Access to Veo cameras for teams to record games and training sessions. Providing opportunities for High School aged players to send video to college coaches.
• Online learning within team, age group, and club wide programs.
• Player evaluations and commitment to player development by one of the inaugural members of the US Club Player First license. 

Identification Process:

• Any Player from inside or outside the club, PWSI Select, Classic, or Recreational may attend tryouts, in addition to any players from other clubs.
• Player pre-registration is required at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled ID Session.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. 
• Coaches from within the age group, technical staff, & additional coaches will facilitate at least 3 identification sessions held in April and May.
• Play your best! 
• All players will be notified whether or not they make a team.
• Players will receive a formal offer from PWSI via email and are required to make the first payment within 72 hours of receiving the notice.
