Multi-award-winning hip-hop artist 50 Cent is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his commercially successful debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. The celebration will be supported by a massive global tour, which includes 39 summer dates across the U.S. and Canada! On Sunday, 6th August 2023, 50 Cent will bring his Final Lap World Tour to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio! The show, featuring special guests Busta Rhymes and Jeremih, will light up the Blossom Music Center with incredible hits! According to reports, the tour will feature an extensive setlist packed with 50 Cent’s greatest hits, including songs that have not been performed in decades! More guests are expected to be announced soon, but in the meantime, hip-hop fans better move fast because this show is expected to be fully packed! 50 Cent dropped his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, in 2003. The record, released through Interscope, is the quintessential gangsta rap album infused with R&B – a signature sound of burgeoning rappers from New York. The album features an all-star creative line-up, including Eminem, Dr. Dre, and several acclaimed music producers, such as Megahertz, Rockwilder, Dirty Swift, and more. The album spawned 50 Cent’s massive debut hit, “In da Club, which topped four Billboard charts, including the Billboard Hot 100.

The song was also an international success after entering the charts in over 20 countries. The debut single was followed by several more hits, including “21 Questions” and “P.I.M.P. Meanwhile, the album also became a phenomenal success. It topped two the Billboard 200 and entered the charts in over 20 countries. The album’s remarkable achievements include a nine-time platinum certification in the U.S., equivalent to nine million copies sold. That same year, 50 Cent received numerous awards for his work with Get Rich or Die Tryin’. He won seven Billboard Music Awards, 10 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, five Grammy nominations, and two MTV Video Music Awards.

After his stellar debut, 50 Cent released four more commercially successful studio albums, including his six-time platinum-certified sophomore effort, The Massacre. Although the album follows the pinnacle of 50 Cent’s music success, it does not fall behind in terms of recognition and acclaim. Massacre topped three Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200, and entered the charts in 22 countries.

In 2009, 50 Cent performed in Eminem’s single, “Crack a Bottle” with Dr. Dre. The song later won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. The win comes after 50 Cent was nominated for 12 Grammys in the past.

This 2023, 50 Cent delivers his greatest hits from his phenomenal career-spanning albums. He will be joined on stage by Grammy-nominated rapper Busta Rhymes, who’s known for hits like “Don’t Cha,” “I Know What You Want,” “Break Ya Neck,” and many more.

Platinum-selling rapper, Jeremih, will also be delivering the hits from his highly-successful albums, the eponymous debut album, All About You and Late Nights.

Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits ‘The Final Lap Tour’ will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more.

Kicking off with its North American leg, the first date will be on Friday, July 21 at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT. The European leg will commence on Thursday, September 28 at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Additional dates will later follow in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

Over two decades since 50 Cent strapped on his bullet-proof vest and dropped his iconic Get Rich or Die Tryin’ debut, the G-Unit boss is still making history.

According to Billboard Boxscore, 50’s The Final Lap Tour has eclipsed $100 million in earnings, making him only the second rapper to ever surpass that mark. The “In Da Club” rapper’s 2023 global trek grossed $103.6 million, with 1.05 million tickets sold across 83 shows in North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia.

In his decorated touring career to date, 50 Cent has grossed $150.3 million and sold 2.5 million tickets, placing him at No. 8 on the list of highest-grossing rap acts in Billboard Boxscore history. The most lucrative stop on 50’s Final Lap trek brought in a combined $4.4 million gross from a pair of dates (Nov. 11 and Nov. 23, 2023) at The O2 Arena in London.

There are a couple of rappers who could possibly be joining 50 and Drizzy in the $100 million club. Kendrick Lamar’s Big Steppers Tour grossed $85.4 million, though that sum doesn’t account for 16 shows in Europe and Australia that haven’t been reported to Boxscore.

Jay-Z has been part of two $100 million-grossing tours, but he’s excluded since both (On The Run I and II) were co-headlined by his wife Beyoncé .

Elsewhere, Travis Scott is set to score his $100 million membership card this summer when his Circus Maximus Tour heads to Europe for a slew of sold-out dates. Currently, he’s on the doorstep with $95 million accounted for on the North American leg.

50 isn’t the only rapper making touring history these days. Nicki Minaj ‘s reunion with the Barbz in “Gag City” on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour has been lucrative, grossing $67 million and selling 439,000 tickets. It’s now the highest-grossing and best-selling rap tour by a woman in Boxscore history — and it’s not even over yet.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Early 2000s rap king 50 Cent - or as he is now known, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson -- will be hitting the road to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.” His “Final Lap” tour will stop at Blossom Music Center on Friday, August 6. Busta Rhymes and Jeremih are opening. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 12 at Ticketmaster .

50 Cent has announced “The Final Lap Tour” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Get Rich or Die Trying .

The massive outing spans nearly 50 dates and includes lengthly runs in North America, the UK, and Europe. Busta Rhymes will join 50 Cent for the duration of the tour, while Jeremih will also provide support on the North American leg.

A Ticketmaster Verified Fan pre-sale is set for Wednesday, May 10th; registration is now ongoing through Sunday, May 7th. Any remaining tickets will be available during a general on-sale starting Friday, May 12th via Ticketmaster .

Once tickets are on sale, you can also find them at  StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

50 Cent made history with his The Final Lap tour ticket sales.

The rapper, 48, embarked on the worldwide tour in March 2023 and played shows through December of that year, with one additional concert getting added this past March. 50 Cent played at various major cities in the United States and internationally, including Nashville, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Paris, among others.

The tour officially came to an end in December 2023 with 50 Cent's final show in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 3, but it's still making headlines. The Final Lap has become the fourth tour by any rapper to surpass $100 million in ticket sales, following Drake and Migos' co-headlining Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour , Drake's I t's All a Blur Tour and Kendrick Lamar 's The Big Steppers Tour.

Now that his tour has come to an end, 50 Cent is gearing up to release a novel titled The Accomplice , which is set to drop on September 3.

"I want to bring a big heist story to the page," 50 Cent shared in a statement to People in March. "My debut fiction novel and its follow-up series will be captivating."

The novel is set to follow FBI agent Nia Robinson, who works within the robbery division. Nia decided to join the agency after her father was convicted of embezzlement. Now, she's determined to clear his name.

"Stay tuned for The Accomplice coming to the big screen as well," 50 Cent teased to People at the time. Of course, the musician is no stranger to the publishing industry as he has published various nonfiction books over the years, including 2020's Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter .

50 Cent has found professional success over the years not only with his music but with his acting projects as well. Upon its release, Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter was referred to as the music mogul's most honest work as he "opens up about his amazing comeback - from tragic personal loss to thriving businessman and cable's highest-paid executive," per the summary.

TV Stars Who've Directed Their Own Shows Over the Years

He made his musical debut in the 1990s, rising to fame throughout the 2000s. Throughout his rap career, 50 Cent released five studio albums (the last being Animal Ambition in 2014) before pivoting to the film industry. Not only does he have a few notable roles under his belt, but 50 Cent cocreated and starred in the Starz TV series Power from 2014 to 2020. He went on to reprise the role for Power Book II: Ghost . 

While finding success in the TV industry, 50 Cent hasn't completely ruled out a return to music. 

"I get the attention that I want from music when I want it. I just went out and toured 45 countries, and everywhere was sold out," he told Billboard in February 2023. "That made me want to offer new music that I could integrate into everything now. I've done what I wanted to do in the [sales] capacity. I've sold over 35 million records. Not singles - albums."

50 Cent Joins Drake As Only Rappers To Gross Over $100M In Tour Ticket Sales

'The Final Lap Tour' grossed $103.6 million, selling1.05 million tickets with 83 shows in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.

Queens-bred lyricist and now entertainment studio owner Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has made history with his latest tour. He joins Canadian rapper Drake as the only hip-hop artists to gross over $100 million in ticket sales.

According to Billboard , the “Power Universe” executive’s “The Final Lap Tour,” which spanned the world in 2023, grossed $103.6 million. The tour sold over 1.05 million tickets by performing 83 shows in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. This brings the total concert sales for 50 Cent to $150.3 million while selling 2.5 million tickets. That places him at No. 8 on the list of highest-grossing rap acts in Billboard Boxscore history. The most he has made for a single stop was when he appeared at The O2 Arena in London on Nov. 11 and Nov. 23, 2023, when both shows grossed a combined $4.4 million.

Drake is the only other rapper to have grossed over $100 million for a headlining tour. He did it twice. Most recent was his last tour, 2023-2024’s “It’s All A Blur Tour” and 2018’s “Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour.”

Jay-Z has grossed over $100 million two times, but because both tours were co-headlining with his wife, Beyoncé (On The Run I and II), he is excluded from being listed with 50 and Drake.

In a recent interview, G-Unit member Tony Yayo revealed that 50 self-financed “The Final Lap Tour.”

50 Cent is doing extremely well as a businessman. In December 2023, he announced he would be opening the G-Unit Film & Television Studio in Shreveport, Louisiana. The studio  has officially launched.

Fox 8 Live reported that the entrepreneurial lyricist obtained a lease for the city-owned studio for an annual cost of $2,400. The city council voted unanimously to approve allowing the G-Unit boss to lease what was once known as Millennium Studio. 50 Cent agreed to manage the building maintenance as the lease was approved for a 30-year term with an option to renew for another 15 years.

In an exclusive statement to Billboard , 50 said, “From the gritty narratives of the streets to the compelling stories that define our era, G-Unit has always been more than just entertainment; it’s a platform for voices that need to be heard, stories that need to be told. Bringing G-Unit Studios to Shreveport is not just a business decision; it’s a commitment to fostering talent, creating opportunities, and building a community that thrives through creativity and innovation. We see Shreveport as a beacon of inspiration and creativity.”

50 Cent on Why Diddy Assault Video Was Released: 'This Is Why They Put That Tape Out'

The G-Unit boss shared more thoughts on the recently released clip of the Bad Boy Records founder assaulting Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel back in March 2016.

50 Cent is once again weighing in on the recently released video of Diddy assaulting Cassie  at a Los Angeles hotel back in March 2016.

On Friday, the G-Unit boss took to Instagram to share a sarcastic response about the graphic footage, which shows Diddy brutally assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie. Fif's comments come as the Bad Boy Records founder  faces multiple lawsuits  over alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking.

“Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all," Fif wrote.

Hours after CNN shared the video, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office released a statement saying that it was "aware of the video that has been circulating online," and found it to be "extremely disturbing and difficult to watch."

"If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted," the statement read.

"As of today, law enforcement has not presented a case related to the attack depicted in the video against Mr. Combs," they continued. "But we encourage anyone who has been a victim or witness to a crime to report it to law enforcement or reach out to our office for support from our Bureau of Victims Services."

On Saturday, 50 Cent hopped on Instagram to share his thoughts on the statement from law enforcement.

"This is why they put that tape out," he captioned a screenshot of the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office's statement. "They know they can’t charge him with what we saw, but they know we can’t un see what we saw."

Over the weekend, 50 Cent commented on Diddy's recently released video in which Diddy issued an apology after CNN shared footage of his alleged assault on Cassie back in 2016.

50 Cent reacts to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ latest sexual assault lawsuit from former model: ‘Another one’

50 Cent is still trolling Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Following the news that the Bad Boy Records founder, 54, was hit with another sexual assault lawsuit on Tuesday, the “In Da Club” rapper, 48, reposted a screenshot of TMZ’s headline to his Instagram and shared his reaction with his followers .

“Got damn boy another one, 👀,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption of the since-deleted post.

”this my last puffy post I think he might kill himself. 😳 I don’t want no parts of that,” he added.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, former model Crystal McKinney filed a lawsuit claiming Combs once forced her to give him oral sex following a Men’s Fashion Week event in 2003.

McKinney says she met Combs at Cipriani Downtown in NYC where he then asked her to join him and his friends in his studio. Upon arrival, the group began drinking Hennessy and passing around joints, which she claims in documents were laced with narcotics.

She claims he told her to follow him to the bathroom where he forced her head down to his crotch and demanded she “suck it.”

She is seeking unspecified damages.

McKinney is the latest to accuse Combs of assault.

The disgraced music mogul is also facing a $30 million federal lawsuit from music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones who claims Diddy repeatedly sexually assaulted him while they worked together on his latest album from September 2022 to November 2023.

In the lawsuit, Jones named 50 Cent’s ex Daphne Joy and City Girls rapper Yung Miami as Combs’ alleged sex workers.

The “Many Men” hitmaker responded to Jones’ claims on Instagram , calling out Joy and Combs.

“I didn’t know you was a sex worker, you little sex worker. LOL,” he wrote alongside two photos of himself smoking a cigar in the rain. “Yo this s–t is a movie.”

The Onlyfans model hit back at her ex, accusing him of rape and physical abuse, which he denies.

On Sunday, Diddy shared a public apology after 2016 surveillance footage surfaced showing the rapper brutally beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f—ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses,” he said in an Instagram video.

The rapper, who changed his name to “Brother Love” in 2017, continued, “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted.”

Ventura filed a bombshell lawsuit against Combs in November 2023, accusing him of rape and years of abuse. The two settled just 24 hours later .

Party Central made this announcement on Facebook, with a post that stated, "With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we announce the closing of Party Central Family Fun Center."

The post went on to state that the owners will be retiring and have decided to sell the property to private investors.

Party Central began in 1996 as a home-based rental company and in 2000 it moved to its brick-and-mortar location on Viking Drive in Bossier City. Since then, it has served as a family fun center for all of northwest Louisiana.

The post said, "Party Central has been more than just a fun center – it’s been a place where countless memories were made. We’ve been honored to host your birthday parties, family gatherings, and special events."

Saturday, May 25, will be the final day for full-service operations and Sunday will mark the official closing date with arcades and mini golf available until 8 p.m.

If you have gift cards, tickets and tokens they must be redeemed by Saturday.
