Every year the Indonesian Masters are able to bring world stars, such as Lee Westwood , Thongchai Jaidee , Ian Woosnam , Michael Campbell , Ernie Els , Darren Clarke , Thomas Bjorn , Kiradech Aphibarnrat , Brandt Snedeker , Henrik Stenson , and Justin Rose – who at that time is a golfer No. 1 World – even appearing at the 2018 Indonesian Masters for the second time after winning the tournament in 2017.

Until entering the eighth year in 2018, the Indonesian Masters has become the largest and most prestigious professional tournament in Indonesia. The existence of the Indonesian Masters was recognized in the Asian continent, so that several times became the closing tournament calendar for the Asian Tour season and became an important event in determining the title of the Asian Tour Order of Merit ( OOM ), as well as being one of five Panasonic Swing events that provided a total bonus attractive to Asian Tour players, since 2017.

Indonesian Masters 2023 golf: Gaganjeet Bhullar wins 11th Asian Tour title

The Indian pro golfer carded 24-under to beat compatriot Karandeep Kochhar by five strokes and win his first title of the year.

India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar won his 11th Asian Tour title at the Indonesian Masters 2023 golf tournament, which concluded at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club on Sunday.

Bhullar carded 24-under 260 (63-67-63-67) after four rounds to finish five strokes ahead of compatriot Karandeep Kochhar, who had a bogey-free final day to finish 19-under (69-68-65-63) in the Indonesian capital.

It was Gaganjeet Bhullar’s first title of the year. His previous title came at the Indonesia Open last year. New Zealand’s Ben Campbell, who won the Hong Kong Open last week, was third with 18-under.

Gaganjeet Bhullar, an Asian Games silver medallist, teed off the golf meet with eight birdies on the opening day and led the leaderboard by two strokes. The Indian golfer led Canada’s Richard Lee by three strokes on the second day and increased his lead on top by seven strokes on the third day courtesy of nine birdies.

Though Bhullar hit two bogies on the fourth day, the 35-year-old had enough of the lead to see off the challenge from Karandeep Kochhar and sealed his victory with an eagle on the final hole.

The win also lifted Bhullar to eighth place on the final International Series order of merit and fourth on the Asian Tour. He was 46th before the start of the Indonesian Masters 2023 on the International Series order of merit.

Among the other Indian golfers, Veer Ahlawat was tied for third after three days but dropped to T-7 at the end of the final day with 14-under.

India’s Chikkarangappa S finished 12th, Rashid Khan T-36, Anirban Lahiri 67th, and Honey Baisoya T-68 among the players who made the cut for the final two rounds.

2023 BNI Indonesian Masters final results: Prize money payout, leaderboard and how much each golfer won

The 2023 BNI Indonesian Masters final leaderboard is headed by winner Gaganjeet Bhullar, who earned the Asian Tour win at Royale Jakarta Golf Club in Indonesia.

Bhullar earned the win to take the final International Series event of the year, winning by five shots on 24-under 260 over Karandeep Kochhar.

David Puig and Ben Campbell finished in joint third place, with Patrick Reed in a tie for seventh.

Bhullar won the $270,000 winner's share of the $1,500,000 purse.

BNI Indonesian Masters recap notes

Bhullar earned 9.6 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win. The field for the tournament was modest, mostly filled with Asian Tour regulars.

There was a cut this week, with 71 players finishing the event in the 22nd event of the season.

The 2023 Asian Tour schedule concludes next week with the Taiwan Glass Taifong Open.

Vườn quốc gia Tanjung Putting

Vườn quốc gia Tanjung Puting nằm trên đảo Borneo ở tỉnh miền Trung Kalimantan, Indonesia. Núi lửa Bromo

Những người thích du lịch khám phá khi đến Indonesia thường không bỏ qua cơ hội chinh phục quần thể núi lửa nổi tiếng Bromo-Semeru-Batok trong dãy Tengger, ở phía đông Java. Nếu muốn tận hưởng giây phút đầu tiên của ngày mới trên đỉnh núi lửa, thường bạn phải rời thành phố gần nhất, Malang, từ 2 giờ sáng. Với người dân của đất nước vạn đảo thì quần đảo này còn được biết đến với tên gọi Tiga Gili hoặc Kepulauan Gili. Gili nằm ở đầu phía tây bắc của Lombok, Indonesia và phía tây của Bali. Không kém gì Malaysia và Philippines, Quần đảo Gili có gần 20 điểm bơi lặn nổi tiếng thế giới, nhiều rặn san hô phong phú và hệ động vật biển hoang dã đa dạng như diều hâu, rùa, cá mập, cá đuối, cá vẹt, san hô trắng… Không chỉ riêng bơi lặn, du khách có thể lướt sóng ở vùng biển phía nam đảo Gili Trawangan hoặc tản bộ dọc các bờ biển, tắm nắng dưới ánh mặt trời và tận hưởng làn gió mát rượi của xứ đảo.

Công viên quốc gia Komodo

Công viên quốc gia Komodo là một công viên quốc gia nằm trong quần đảo Sunda Lesser bao gồm ba đảo lớn Komodo, Padar và Rincah, và 26 đảo nhỏ hơn. Điều làm cho hòn đảo này trở nên nổi tiếng và thu hút ngày càng đông khách du lịch đến thăm quan đó là loài động vật đặc biệt còn tồn tại duy nhất ở đây - những con rồng Komodo kỳ lạ. Rồng Komodo là kẻ săn mồi chuyên nghiệp và chúng là kẻ thù của các loài, từ nhỏ như con chuột cho đến lớn như con trâu. Đã có những vụ rồng Komodo tấn công và ăn thịt người. Tuy nhiên đây chỉ là trường hợp hy hữu.

Đền Borobudur

Nói đến Indonesia, người ta nghĩ ngay tới một quốc gia được tập hợp bởi 3.000 hòn đảo lớn nhỏ khác nhau. Bên cạnh đó, Indonesia còn cuốn hút bởi có rất nhiều địa điểm du lịch hấp dẫn như đảo Bali xinh đẹp, thủ đô Jakarta vừa hiện đại vừa cổ kính… Và một trong những điểm du lịch hấp dẫn du khách khi tới Indonesia nữa là đền Borobudur, một trong 70 kỳ quan của thế giới được UNESCO công nhận vào năm 1991. Đây không chỉ là một kỳ quan đáng ngưỡng mộ của Indonesia, mà còn là một trong những công trình nghệ thuật kiến trúc vĩ đại và giá trị nhất của thế giới Phật giáo và của cả nhân loại.

Đền tháp Borobudur được xây dựng trên lưng chừng quả đồi, cách chân đồi 15,5 m, bao gồm 12 tầng to, nhỏ, vuông, tròn xem kẽ, kế tiếp nhau. Borobudur tổng cộng có 1.460 tấm tranh điêu khắc và tạc nổi trên mặt đá, trình bày các cảnh tượng của Tam giới, kể lại các gương sáng của những vị Bồ tát, cuộc đời và những tiền thân của Đức Phật và sau hết là các câu chuyện về Đạo Pháp mô tả trong kinh sách.

Cảnh quan đa dạng, bờ biển gồ ghề, những bãi biển nhiệt đới, ruộng bậc thang xanh tốt và sườn đồi núi lửa tất cả cung cấp một bối cảnh đẹp như tranh vẽ với đầy màu sắc, đầy thần khí và độc đáo bởi nét văn hóa Ấn Độ giáo của Bali. Lễ hội độc đáo ở Indonesia này thu hút lượng du khách đông đảo đến tham gia lễ hội. Panjat Pinang là một cách kỉ niệm ngày Độc lập độc đáo của Indonesia. Hàng năm, ở mọi vùng miền trên khắp cả nước, nhiều cây cau cao vút bị chặt ngọn, chỉ còn thân cây thẳng đứng, và một loạt giải thưởng treo quanh một vòng bánh xe được đặt trên ngọn cây.Trước đó thân cây bị bôi kín mỡ hoặc các chất bôi trơn khác và các thanh niên được mời tham gia lấy giải thưởng.

Lễ hội đua bò ở Indonesia

Mỗi năm một lần, tộc người Minangkabau ở Tây Sumatra (Indonesia) lại tổ chức mừng mùa màng bằng lễ hội đua bò đầy kịch tính. Những con bò tham dự cuộc đua là những con khỏe mạnh, được huấn luyện và chăm sóc trước khi thi. Vào cuộc, chúng được gắn khung bằng gỗ để giữ thăng bằng. Đằng sau 2 con “bò chiến” là những nông dân địa phương. Họ sẽ không ngại mệt nhọc vì nếu chiến thắng sẽ có uy tín rất lớn trong cuộc sống và bò được bán với giá cao.

Món Babi Guling

Babi Guling là một ăn đặc trưng của hòn đảo Bali xinh đẹp được nhiều người yêu thích, thực phẩm chính để làm nên món Babi Guling là lợn sữa quay và gạo.

Để làm được món ăn truyền thống Babi Guling ngon thì công đoạn chuẩn bị thực phẩm cũng vô cùng cầu kỳ và phức tạp, những chú lợn sữa được chọn để quay cũng phải là những chú lợn được nuôi tự nhiên, không sử dụng cám công nghiệp để cho ăn thì thịt mới thơm và săn chắc. Lợn đem mổ rồi bỏ hết lòng, mề bên trong ra, sau đó sẽ bỏ một hỗn hợp các loại gia vị đã được chuẩn bị trước như gạo, tỏi, gừng, hạt tiêu, các loại rau thơm đã được thái nhỏ sau đó đem quay trên ngọn lửa liu riu chừng 5 – 6 giờ đồng hồ cho đến khi da lợn chuyển dần sang màu vàng ươm, hương thơm của các loại gia vị ngấm dần vào thịt và tỏa hương thơm ngào ngạt là đã có món Babi Guling vô cùng hấp dẫn.

Món Bekek Betutu

Hòn đảo Bali xinh đẹp không chỉ nổi tiếng với bãi biển trong xanh, cát trắng trải dài mà còn nổi tiếng với những món ăn vô cùng hấp dẫn, mà một trong số đó phải kể đến Bekek Betutu, một món ăn được so sánh giống như “ vịt quay Bắc Kinh” của Trung Quốc nhưng nếu một lần được thưởng thức Bekek Betutu bạn sẽ thấy món ăn này hoàn toàn khác hẳn, nó chính xác phải là món vịt vừa hầm vừa rán.

Món Nasi Goreng

Nasi Goreng chính là cơm rang Indonesia được nhiều người biết đến với một cách thức chế biến và hương vị rất đặc biệt. Không giống như cơm rang ở Việt Nam chỉ được rang đơn thuần với trứng, giò, cà rốt…Nasi Goreng bao gồm rất nhiều nguyên liệu khác nhau như thịt gà, cà rốt, đậu hà lan, hành tây, trứng gà, các loại gia vị như tiêu, ớt, tỏi và đương nhiên không thể thiếu được 1 tô cơm để làm món cơm rang ngon chính hiệu Indonesia. Rawon chính là súp thịt bò có màu đen trông vô cùng hấp dẫn và “ huyền bí”. Nguyên liệu chính để làm nên món ăn này là thịt bò và các loại hạt gia vị có màu đen mà được người dân nơi đây gọi là Keluak. Keluak sẽ tạo cho món ăn có một hương vị hấp dẫn và một màu sắc vô cùng “ quyến rũ” khác hẳn những kiểu súp thịt bò ở những quốc gia khác trên thế giới. Điều đó góp phần làm cho món ăn này được đánh giá là món ăn ngon và hấp dẫn số một Indonesia.
