Recent trip to Morocco

I recently made a 10 day trip to Morocco through Zicasso. It was a trip of lifetime, and something that I will never forget. All of the logistical issues, along with my personal preferences were discussed openly, with always a quick reply. Everything from my driver to the guides supplied to my accomodations were just wonderful. I also had the great fortune to make what I am sure to become lifelong friendships. Working with Zicasso was truly a cooperative experience, and totally wonderful.

I appreciate being matched with trusted travel agents who have different perspectives. It gives me lots of options to customize my trip. In the past - I’ve planned adventure trips with my husband. During this trip - matched with an agent who planned an independent luxury hiking trip for a family with young kids through Scotland.

Excellent, stess-free service!

Zicasso just happened to pop up in my search for "custom tours" and I am so happy that I explored the company further! I received an immediate response and was provided the information that I needed. The lady I spoke with was courteous and very patient with my questions. I especially appreciated that I was not pushed to commit to what they were offering. Maria worked around my schedule and called only when it was convenient for me. Zicasso gave me the option to work with travel specialists in my home country or one that was based in the country I was visiting. I chose the latter and two specialists reached out to me within 24 hours. Thanks to Zicasso, I was connected with a trustworthy local travel company that provided excellent services throughout my trip. I don't think I would have found the local tour company had it not been through Zicasso.

Great way to take the work out of planning!

After taking my information regarding destination and budget, Zicasso connected us with two different agents who provided me with proposed trips to London for our family of 5. Both agents reached out to me to get more information and provided me with proposed itineraries and cost. They listened to our unique family interests and made adjustments accordingly. Our experience traveling through the northern part of Spain

Two week trip to Buenos Aires & Mendoza planned by Zicasso

Zicasso planned our 2 week trip to Buenos Aires & Mendoza. Everything worked as planned: 3 very good hotels, vineyard tours, and all the transfers with a private car: airports to & from hotels and a final transfer from Santiago Airport to Valparaiso cruise port. The service from Mariana was excellent and she was very patient, knowledgeable and pleasant throughout the planning stage. The package price was very fair.

Custom tours are the only way to go.

Everything went smoothly on this trip. All of the suggested tours and locations were perfect with the exception of the lantern making. It looked like a fun activity but it was just doing an arts and crafts project that we couldn’t bring home. The local tour partners were knowledgeable, flexible and truly there to make sure we had the best experiences. We especially appreciated having a chat open with the local company and frequent check ins that all was going well. We were glad to have a couple of free days but chose to fill it with private tours doing things specific to our likes.

Iceland Trip October 2023

We knew we wanted to go to Iceland for our honeymoon, but had no clue where to start. Discovered Zicasso who set us up with 2 different travel planners and the rest is history. The trip was beyond what we imagined and was made much more enjoyable knowing someone with experience of traveling in Iceland was planning everything for us. Every day was planned out exactly how we wanted with extras added if we had time to stop while we were traveling around the ring road. I would 100% recommend Zicasso for all your travel needs.

Our 50th anniversary trip

When planning our 50th anniversary trip to Greece in October 3023, we wanted much more than Instagram-able photos. Ziccaso put us in contact with two travel agents who knew the country in depth because they are Greek. Both agents understood our wish to explore the people, culture, history and food & wine of Greece and developed awesome itinerary options. 2 weeks in Morocco

Our trip was perfect. Every transfer, activity, hotel and dining suggestion was right on target. For four women traveling through Morocco for two weeks, the trip was without a hitch. We were able to experience the country with our own guide and driver who were very knowledgeable, polite and experienced. I have used Zicasso for three trips and highly recommend!

Tremendous Resource for International Travel

We were overwhelmed planning a trip to Italy (what to see?) as well as finding a travel agent with in depth knowledge to help. Zicasso offered the perfect solution. Different needs fulfilled

We had access to knowledgeable agents who were able to provide clear direction and suggestions on what would make our experience "our experience". It was customized to the needs (and we had many needs)! Another Great Zicasso Experience -Thailand & Cambodia

We had a wonderful trip to Thailand and Cambodia booked through Zicasso. The whole experience was flawless. This is our second trip using Zicasso. The first was to AUS & NZ and ended as Covid was starting. Our Zicasso agent did a great job on that trip and got us home safely as flights were cancelling and businesses shutting down. We love Zicasso because they find the experts for you. And you know that with the agents they introduce you to, everything is vetted. You are going to get what you want at a fair price, and work with professionals who'll ensure you have a fabulous trip.

Seamless & Amazing

Once again, choosing Zicasso was the perfect choice! We are just back from Belize, and we had the most wonderful adventure. Every single detail was exactly what we hoped for! Ours was a little complicated because we were coming from 4 locations (6 of us) and staying different amounts of time and, like all groups, had some different preferences. Zicasso is hands-down the best travel…

Zicasso is hands-down the best travel partner I have ever worked with. We just finished a large family trip to Spain and Portugal, all ages from infants to middle aged. The Zicasso team worked hard to put together a trip with just the right amount of activities, at the right pace, without it being too much-- or too many museums and churches. As with past trips, they nailed it. They also worked well with our occasional requested changes, including last minute. Lastly, in my opinion, what they charge for their experience and depth of services is a bargain. You won't be disappointed.

Another amazing trip using Zicasso’s services

Trip planning made easy

This was by far the best way to plan a trip. We were matched up with two travel consultants that submitted itineraries that were customized to our unique travel needs and requirements. After we reviewed them, we select the one that was best suited to our needs. From there, we were able to customize it even further. Our travel consultant worked closely with us asking questions until we had the perfect itinerary. Because we have specific travel needs, the Zicasso travel consultant we used guided us to our best option. There was nothing left for us to do once we got to our destination except to show up as expected and enjoy our excursions.

Excellent travel service!!

I used Zicasso this year (2023) to plan two European trips back to back. One was with another couple and the other was with my two sons and their wife and girlfriend. Iceland - Amazing experience!!

Amazing experience!!! We could not have asked for anymore! They set up an itinerary exactly like we asked and it was seamless. One of my best trips ever

One of my best trips ever. The planning was smooth, making changes as we requested. We visited great cities and had private guided tours at each. Food and Wine Adventure in Northern Spain

We had a food and wine adventure customized to our specific wishes. Before I go any further, it was the best trip that we have ever taken. Through Zicasso we had access to local guides who ensured that we maximized our time and we went places that we would never have found if we tried to do the trip on our own. We had a cooking lesson in a private gastronomic club, experienced pintxos and tapas like locals. Access to wineries was exquisite. Our final meal was having paella in a small fishing village overlooking the Mediterranean with a bottle of Spanish white wine. I could not have written a better ending to our adventure. Columbia Highlights

This was an excellent "custom-designed" trip with time in Bogota, Pereira, Santa Marta, Cartegena and the Rosario Islands. We met with five local guides during the trip, all were good. There were many highlights; we especially enjoyed the Candelaria / Plaza Bolivar district of Bogota, the Cocora Valley, the birds at breakfast at the Pereira hotel, the 70 meters Los Frailes Waterfall, the humming birds at Minca, La Piscina Beach at Santa Marta and historic Cartegena. Zipaquira Salt Cathedral and Guatavita lake were interesting, however there was very much traffic on the outskirts of Bogota. With hindsight, we would have probably skipped this day and added time in Cartegena.

AVOID: Luxury prices, non-luxury travel.

Bottom line: I encourage everyone out there to vet their agents instead of relying on Zicasso to do that vetting. Their value for money is questionable. We booked a trip with Zicasso to France and their travel partner was unsatisfactory. The trip was so poorly planned that we asked them to cancel the last day of our planned itinerary (un-refunded). On contacting Zicasso, they have done no due diligence on what transpired, and responded with platitudes. For instance, one tour guide had never visited the destination we were going to. Zicasso's response: "While the guides are independent contractors, French Touch Travel meets and knows each of the guides they use, has partnerships with them, and therefore feels confident booking them for their travelers." Many instances like this abound... We have travelled with other luxury providers who have done much better at addressing concerns. I believe this is the disadvantage of a travel broker - they have no real capacity for quality control.

Excellent travel planning site!

This was our 3rd trip planned with Zicasso - each has been spectacular. The Zicasso site starts by asking great questions to help frame the trip, then they connect you with trip planners who can refer back to your previous itineraries to get a better sense of what experiences you like. End result: every day was a treat! I found Zicasso the old fashioned way (their office was around the corner from mine) and boy am I glad. We had a wonderful trip to Greece; Zicasso provided us with two excellent local tour companies which helped us design the trip to Crete of our dreams. It was hard to pick one of them as they were both so accommodating and flexible. We felt the prices were very reasonable for a private tour with a driver picking us up and dropping us off and taking us on our tours. We will definitely use Zicasso again. We have already recommended Zicasso to many of our friends.
